We did our research and wanted to find a bakery who would make a vegan wedding cake that looked AND tasted amazing! Lee was so professional and helpful during the planning process and helped us make the best decisions about the size and style of cake we should get. We went with almond cake, raspberry filling, and vegan vanilla buttercream. It was absolutely delicious and all our guests raved about it! Thank you Lee, for making our perfect wedding cake.

This is one of the cutest and best bakeries in Fort Lauderdale. I love to support small woman owned businesses. I love cinnamon buns, and in my opinions these are the best ones I ever had. Also, very good coffee. I will definitely be back soon.

After taking my mile long jog to SE. 13th St. I discovered there is also beautiful or as well, but upon walking into this bakery, I was greeted by one of the workers there she was very friendly, very attentive and very quick to assist me with my request shop is absolutely adorableI ordered two cinnamon rolls(not pictured) they were pretty delicious.

I had seen her bakery on Instagram and decided to try it out. Me happy and excited because her cakes looked good online. I mentioned to her that’s where I found her shop. My experience was not the best, I can’t describe it but her vibes toward me as a new customer didn’t feel right. Long story short, I order a small cake and showed her a picture of what I wanted from my phone. She said ok she can do it. I then offered to send the picture to her so she can have to refer back to. Which I thought was strange. She should’ve ask me for a copy or took a picture for herself. After placing the order, she told me the price which was $30 which I was told to pay in full. Another thing that was weird…. I assumed a deposit of $10-15 and then pay balance once the cake is picked up. But ok, I went ahead and paid. I wanted to pick up the cake that Monday, she let me know she is closed on Mondays. She told to come on Wednesday early in the morning the cake would be ready. Another red flag, how are you going to give me a date for the cake…. You don’t know when my event is. Anyway, I went along with the date, She mentioned I can come as soon as she opens the cake will be ready. I got there on Wednesday 9:20 a.m. (she opens at9:00 a.m.) the cake was not ready! She apologized and told me she would have it ready by 1:00 pm and that she will have it delivered to me so I wouldn’t have to come back. She also offered me a baked good as a way to make up for the mishap. At almost 1:00 pm she called me and said she’ll have to delivery the cake herself because they kept cancelling the pick up. So eventually she made it to me about 2:00 p.m. The cake looked similar to what I wanted, however it was super small. It’s basic yellow cake, on her website she has cakes that start at $25 which are bigger than what I got and being that it was so basic why did she charge me up front $30? And like a fool I just agreed to it! Not a big deal $5 difference is not going to break me, it’s the principle. Had she conducted business in another way, like charging a deposit and pay the balance when I pick up like most bakers do. She would’ve had an opportunity to take off the price since she did not prepare my cake in time On top of ALL that the cake is pretty much sugarless with no type of flavor. She did mention to me when order that she doesn’t use much sugar….. at least put enough to add the flavor. I didn’t sign up for a diabetic cake I would not recommend this bakery, could you imagine if this was for an event? Edit Update: You can see she wrote a whole dissertation about what she thinks happened. This is not a professional response from a business owner. She try to diminish my horrible experience with her and be defensive. That’s all because she feels guilty. She was closed on that Monday and Sunday however your website said you are open on Tuesday by appointment. But you decided to tell me to come Wednesday as if that was the most convenient for you. And yes it was a very small cake! And you did charge me the maximum you can and wanted payment in full. I can promise that you did overcharge me, I guess because I didn’t look like your typical customer base. If you read my response you would’ve seen that I did SAY you tried to make it up by offering to bring the cake and by offering a baked good. I encourage you to work on your customers service skills as a business owner.

I ordered a cake for my husband’s 50th birthday and it was beyond amazing!! Lee was so sweet and took time to understand the vision for the cake. She actually advised me to go with a smaller size and of course, that was a better price point too which was so helpful for sure! Who does that in today’s age? Lee did and the cake turnout to be exactly what I wanted from an artistic creative perspective without breaking my budget. The taste was scrumptious! We ordered a vanilla chocolate chip cake with strawberry preserves and vanilla buttercream and it was absolutely divine! My husband was SO happy when he saw the cake and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you Lee for such a personalized experience! We will be back for sure 🤗

This place has SUCH good desserts. Oh my gosh it is so low key and definitely Fort Lauderdale’s best hidden gem of a bakery.

Ordered a cake online for my sister's birthday. I choose this basket because it offered vegan options and was close to the job. The process online was smooth. I went to pick up the cake on the date I chose and it was beautiful. It tasted even better! My sister loved it! Small but beautiful bakery and the lady who greeted me was kind. This is my go to for cakes and it isn't that expensive. Keep up the good work ladies!

Choc chip Cookies are very good

Great friendly service. The bacon and cheddar buns (Saturdays only) are to die for. I put them in the microwave and warm for 20 seconds. Just scrumptious. Suggest you preorder them as I’m told they tend to sell out. 5 out of 5.

Best red velvet cake and cupcakes in town! Full of home baked flavor and not overly sweet, Perfect! Highly recommend.

I ordered a birthday cake to celebrate my sister’s birthday on the beach from this bakery. Not only was the cake STUNNING on pick-up, it was one of the best tasting cakes we’ve had in years. The passion fruit filling is to die for. We will be repurchasing from here again in the future!

Im very picky when it comes to cupcakes and to my surprise it was very decent not so sweet ..a bit small for the price but good all in all.

My family and I were on vacation during my moms birthday so we wanted to order a cake that was local from here. I had emailed them a month in advance and heard nothing back from them. I was planning on picking up a cake from a French bakery that had cakes premade but it turns out my dad actually ordered a cake online from the same place without even talking to me about it! I was excited because I really wanted to try this place after researching all the local bakeries. He ordered a drip vanilla cake which had buttercream frosting. The cake presentation was great and communication and pickup was easy. The cake itself did not taste good. The frosting tasted nothing like buttercream. It was really oily like and flavorless. I was really upset because I was really hoping it would be a great cake my whole family- especially my mom would enjoy.

Lee was fabulous to work with when choosing a bakery for my wedding cake. She was responsive, listened to what I was looking for, and the guests all raves about the cake’s appearance and taste. My husband and I are still talking about how bummed we were that we didn’t have a chance to try our cake at the wedding! Thank you so much for everything. My new go-to bakery for every event!

Ordered a GF cake for my daughter's baby Sprinkle. Had over 30 guests, the cake was beautiful and delicious. In the past I'd get a cake for everyone and a chocolate flourless cake for one. It was so special to all eat the same thing! Thank you Lee.

Just doing this little gem while driving through Ft Lauderdale. Locale is super clean and neat and staff is friendly and inviting. As for the sweets, we had a cake pop, rice crispy, guava tart, and cake cup. All super fresh and delicious.

This bakeshop is phenomenal! Female owned shop by an exceptional baker with an extremely impressive resume. My friend is a chocolate lover so I ordered the chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and he and our guests were blown away by the flavor. I have also tried her carrot cake cup, cookies and crème cup, and red velvet cake cup. All were amazing. The carrot cake was very moist and flavorful not too sweet. Her vanilla buttercream frosting on the confetti cake is perfection. For peanut and chocolate lovers I would definitely say get the chocolate cookie with peanut butter chips secret ingredient, peanut butter cups. The salted chocolate chip cookies, maple oats, almond and sugar cookies are also fantastic. I tasted all of the bars. Very hard to choose my favorites, I think blondie and rice crispy treat maybe the leaders but the ultimate and red velvet do not disappoint either. She uses a local coffee company for her delicious coffee drinks. My advice check this place out, meet Lee and fall in love with her amazing treats!!!

Where do I even start…the adorable storefront welcomes you into the best smell from baked goods that you can even imagine…the quality & “love” that go into each delicious cookie is unparalleled. Not only do I order from here personally, but the restaurant group I work for uses Lovelee for our specialty desserts, too. Honestly can’t say enough…come here.

Great service..I needed vegan cupcakes and they didnt have enough in the case so she went back and frosted and decorated as many as needed... I needed flowers so she sent me to a Flower and coffee shop up the road that I hadn't heard about...5⭐

Lee is not only a wonderful baker but very accommodating. I have often called and if she doesn’t have enough chocolate chip cookies in her case she bakes up a fresh batch!! Who does that??? And be sure to try the cinnamon buns and millionaires shortbread. Yum!

I ordered a cake for my mother's birthday. Lee was so accommodating and made sure I got the cake on time, even with a really short notice. Ordering online was easy and pick up instructions very clear. The cake was incredible!!! My family loved it. I will definitely recommend this bakeshop to my friends and come back whenever I'm in town. Thanks for making our night special!

Went in just before closing on NYE. The owner and her teammate were so nice and frosted cupcakes for us while we waited. The red velvet cupcake was AMAZING, one of the next I’ve had in years.

10/10!! The pecan bar was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had such a rich and fluffy chocolate cupcake before. And the apple crumb cake was AMAZING. You rarely get 3 things that ALL hit it out of the park from any bakery !! Definitely will be swinging by and ordering for thanksgiving!

Not crazy about the cinnamon rolls but the cake is phenomenal. My husband loved his birthday cake and said it was the best carrot cake he’d ever had. Highly recommend.

They have the BEST snickerdoodle cookies! My husband is obsessed with their bacon cheddar muffin and the kids can't wait to return! I was lucky enough to meet the owner on my first visit and I have to say - THANKS FOR MAKING EVERYTHING WITH ❤️ 😉

Wonderful cakes - delicious and beautiful! I say you make 'adult' buttercream, creamy and not overly sugary/sweet.

I have been wanting to come to this bakery for a long time. I finally had an opportunity to try it and was blown away! The first time, I got the single serving rectangular cake, it was smaller than a piece of cake - I didn't feel like I was overindulging and it satisfied my sweet tooth. I was having a small July 4th picnic and checked out the online offerings. I loved all the cool choices - it was so hard to narrow it down. I selected frosted sugar cookies and cakesicles decorated in red, white & blue (the cakesicles were perfect to have while we in the pool). My guests loved them! Thanks Lee, your bakery is one of a kind, and looking forward to getting many more delicious treats.

Went to check out Lovelee after hearing them mentioned on the a morning radio show. They specialize in cinnamon rolls which are more like giant cupcakes. The rolls and crumb cake are infused with warm, sweet cinnamon. It's not like cinnamon paste and copious amounts of sugar and glaze often found in cinnamon rolls. It's like cinnamon dough and is crazy delicious. I also tried an ultimate candy cake which had a brownie like texture and bites of chocolate and vanilla throughout. I won't be able to buy store made cakes and sweets again and am not sad to say that. When you find something so satisfying and are able to support local business, why go back?

I spoke to the owner, Lee, regarding our dessert table for our wedding. My fiancé and I visited the bakery to taste their desserts and they were delicious! I loved the cakesicle so much. Their cupcake was TO DIE FOR! The icing was not too sweet, which was an added plus! All their other treats were delicious as well - the brownie was so fudgy and moist - it was exactly what I was craving. If you’re looking for a sweet treat in a super Instagram worthy spot, go to LoveLee’s!

I always enjoyed passing by LoveLee Bakeshop for their delicious cupcakes and cookies and knew that we wanted Lee to bake our daughters first birthday cake. A week before my daughters birthday, I visited Lee and she went over all of the tasty options for cake. Knowing how good the carrot cake was, I was sold! Lee recommended a 2 tier cake and I’m so glad she did because it was the perfect amount of cake for our guests and left our family with just enough cake to enjoy afterwards. Everyone kept raving about how amazing the cake was! We’re happy we picked LoveLee Bakeshop to celebrate this milestone and will certainly make this a tradition for our families birthdays 🎉
