All of the guest in our party had food poisoning. We tried to reach management several times to no avail. I would NEVER eat here!!!!!!! DON’T EAT THE STEAK OR SEAFOOD!! The seafood taste like ammonia. Absolutely horrendous.

Went for 20th wedding anniversary. Literally the best meal we ever had. The service was fantastic! Couldn't recommend this place more. Beautiful views, great people, and even better food!!

Nothing short of AMAZING! Our engagement dinner was perfect! Staff is so very pleasant and on top of their game! The meals were delicious with great presentation...hats off to the chef and kitchen staff! Our evening was made so special given all this restaurant had to offer! HIGHLY recommend!!! Don't wait...Reserve in advance, as this establishment is in high demand given their overall quality and fabulous food!

The popular short ribs dinner wasn't great. The ribs were fatty, tough. No water refills either. Hardly saw the waitress. Disappointing visit. The waitress wasn't very helpful when I mentioned the ribs weren't very good , not sympathetic Couldn't lower the blinds when asked, the sun was directly on our table and faces.

This,was our 3rd year celebrating my wife's birthday & my cousins her husband anniversary the food is exceptionally good our server charlene did have alot of tables her service was non existent for us extremely loud in the new dining room deafening and far beyond extremely expensive $20 to cut a cake you bring in $40 cork fee for outside bottles the standard is $25 2 special occasions at the same table we weren't offered anything

Oh my goodness! What an experience. Jeffrey at the bar was amazing. Had the bang bang shrimp for an app and the short ribs and crab pasta. And at the end they brought out a little ice cream sundae ( on the house I think) for Tim’s birthday. Excellent food and staff. Will go back. We didn’t have reservations and walked right in to the bar. Highly recommend

I have now gone to this restaurant twice. The first time we went we spent over $350 and got the a5 wagyu steaks. They were improperly cooked to an extreme extent. When we notified the server, he did nothing to fix the problem. We couldn't even finish our dinner because of this. Also, the server was extremely awkward and made the dinner awkward and uncomfortable when he was around... but I digress A year later now. We had to wait 3 months to get a table but figured we would try this place again. They texted my phone to confirm. Throughout the morning and afternoon I did not have access to my phone. By the time I did message to confirm, they had already canceled my reservation but did not message this. So we got all ready, got a babysitter, drove to the restaurant just for them to say we lost our seats in the dining area. When I told them I didn't have access to my phone the previous evening and through the morning and afternoon, I was questioned about the legitimacy of my access. They offered to get the manager, not to try and find a solution, but to explain their policy to me. When he walked right up to me, maybe only 9 inches from my face, and told me it's my fault that I couldn't have a dining room table. I asked him if he could please back up because he was too close and he said he was taking to me. I again had to say "yes, but you're to close." He just kept saying things about how they have been in business over ten years and 'everyone else managed to confirm'. The manager repeatedly was crowding me and getting within less than a foot of my face. I'm not sure if he was just trying to intimidated me me, but it's very disrespectful to do that after being told multiple times and still continuing to do it. Finally we left and I told him that this whole attempt to give the restaurant a shot was a mistake. On the way out the door the manager yelled out to me "likewise". We have now given this restaurant two shots. The first time was an overpriced mess, and the second was a disrespectful disaster. I see no reason to ever return to this restaurant, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Probably my favorite restaurant in WNY, great food and great service. Their Wagyu Filet is the best piece of meat I've ever eaten. Highly recommend.

Very beautiful environment. Great for a date or an anniversary. Plan a year out though if you want the time and date you would prefer. The atmosphere is very nice. The drinks were excellent and so was the food

So I can't really leave a review yet because I'm trying to book a reservation for dinner of 12 adults and they only allow reservations for 10. I asked if I could do 2 tables of six and that was a hard No very disappointed since my family wanted to give Lucia's a try. Don't quite get this policy if people are willing to pay for a nice dinner and you are refused any suggestions would gladly be appreciated

This was an excellent experience for us, but I wanted to especially thank the person who was managing the reservations on Weds June 12th. We had a large party of 8 people from out of town and we had only been able to snag a few tables for 4 people at 4pm and at 8:45pm but this employee was so kind to us and coordinated with us over text message and ultimately provided a fabulous table for all of us to sit together at 5:00. Our group was so thrilled with the dinner and I can’t express enough how helpful your employees were. We will definitely return.

THE OWNER RESPONDED FALSE REVIEW SO I ADDED MY OPENTABLE RESERVATION. I WOULDNT ATTEND HERE IF I HAVE READ HIS RESPONSES TO REVIEWS. I don’t usually leave a review but would like to describe our experience so that prospective customers don’t fall as we did. We were on the road trip so I called the restaurant and was confirmed that there would be patio dining. Upon arrival, the hostess said no food service outside. Inside is a small space about 15-20 tables. There is glass window but unless you are at windows you won’t see the lake at all. The restaurant structure made it extremely noisy. They had waiters at all corners to fill water for you etc but rather than feeling attentive I felt procedural and robotics. The waiter was good at SELLING the food and wine. We had dined at fine restaurants and 12+ cruises and can say the food here is definitely BELOW average quality for the price point. From the moment we walked in until we left, we were told 4 times there was another party 1 hour and 45 minutes after us so they’d serve quickly. We were asked 4 times if we would like to pack up the soup while we were eating. My teenage boy ended up vomiting as soon as we walked out so we are not sure if it was food poisoning or the high noise and pressure. This is definitely not a place for food nor view nor ambiance.

The food and drinks were great! My my sister got the blackened chicken risotto and she said it was one of the best meals she’s ever had!! The brussels & sweet potato and the breads & spreads appetizer were amazing. Our server Thomas was outstanding! Overall, great experience.

Had dinner there tonight with 8 other people (party of nine). Waitress came to the table gave us menus and told us the specials were on the smaller menu and asked us if we wanted any drinks. She brought our drinks back fairly fast (which was nice). She immediately asked us if we wanted any appetizers. We did but with the normal group chit chat we were still deciding. She didn’t ask if we needed more time. We sort of felt obligated to order. After she took our appetizer orders she asked what we wanted for our entrees. We all felt rushed. Appetizers came out and we were not given any other dishes and had to use our bread dishes if we we’re sharing our apps. Table got partially cleared and our entrees were being served. We had to move our plates so they could put the entrees down. Never received new silverware to replace the ones taken. Had to ask for them. Waitress never came back to check on how everyone was enjoying their dinner. Bus people cleared the table and boxed leftovers as requested. One bus person boxed and bag items the other one just boxed the item. One bus person just put the bagged box on the floor next to person without telling him that she did so. While we’re sitting there the blinds went up and the sun was very blinding to some of us. We asked the bus person if she could lower them she rudely said she wasn’t allowed too. The waitress came over and we asked her. She said she couldn’t and would check to if they could be lower. I don’t know who she asked but they said no because of the sunset. Well our table faced the window and all the others didn’t. And all people sitting at those tables didn’t pay attention to the sun set. Our table spent over $700.00 between dinner and drinks at the bar and thats you think about our reasonable request. For an upscale restaurant I think your service leaves a lot to be desired. We have been there two or three times before but after tonight I don’t think I will come back.

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was elegant. Our server was attentive, she definitely kept the drinks flowing and the good times rolling.

Went for our anniversary and had an amazing meal and service! John was great, he took time to answer our questions, and gave us great suggestions! The Mediterranean Platter was so delicious and huge! There's deck seating on top that is also a beautiful space to sit, enjoy your drink and the beautiful view of the lake. Looking forward to our next trip! Highly recommend!

I moved here last year from Scottsdale AZ. I’d stack this restaurant up to any restaurant there. Absolutely the best dining experience I’ve had since I’ve moved here. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I will definitely frequent this place again.

This place is amazing but also very expensive. Their appetizers were truly delicious. Their bang bang shrimp is unreal a must have. The steak and lobster tail were the best I’ve ever had. I had the tomahawk steak. And the peanut butter pie was one of a kind. I highly recommend trying this place at least once.

It was our first time there, but it won't be our last! We had a wonderful dining experience, our server John is top notch, very personable and answered all of our questions, his knowledge on the menu is on point! And a lovely person. We'll be making our reservations for our next visit soon! Those oysters were the best I've ever had! Thank you for making my fiancée birthday dinner such a wonderful experience, he absolutely loved the salted caramel pie! Omg amazing! Jay the owner was very friendly and personable as well! I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for soooo long but didn’t think I’d ever be able to find a reservation, but to my luck there was yesterday on my birthday! When we arrived we were greeted immediately and sat at our table right away. Everything was already set up. Our server John made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant (even though every single table was occupied and it was very busy). He was extremely personable and truly made it feel like a FINE DINING experience. My boyfriend and I are a younger couple so we fully expected to be brushed off or not paid attention to, but we were surprisingly blown away. Our food took no longer than 15 minutes to come out, as soon as our glasses were half empty we were given refills without even having to ask, we were asked frequently how we were enjoying the food and if we needed anything. And the food was delicious, fresh and absolutely beautiful. Like magazine worthy. John’s expertise on all of the dishes and laid-back demeanor AND his serving assistant, who was super nice and attentive as well, made our first experience here a very special one. We will definitely be looking forward to dining here again.

I would give it 0 stars if I could after my experience last night. To arrive 2 mins late and be treated so rude and disrespectfully is beyond me. I was basically told I would have had 15 strict minutes to order apps and food because the kitchen closes at 9p. Mind you, my reservation was for 9p, and there was one for 915p that I could’ve chosen so how is that even possible… I told the guy “Jay” who I recently learned is the owner; that I’d eaten here plenty of times late and never had this kind of issue with the kitchen or the service for that matter. I also told him the hostess has a nasty attitude, she was wearing way too tight tacky pleather pants, but rolled her eyes at us as if we weren’t “good enough” to even eat there. He came over and completely disregarded my concerns and proceeded to give us the same exact look the hostess did like we were “LESS THAN’ He even stated to me “ I’ve never seen you before” and that we expect our customers to arrive on time. SO I GUESS THE GRACE PERIOD & SIMPLY HUMAN DECENCY IS SELECTIVE TO ONLY CERTAIN PATRONS! GLAD I SEE HOW YOU REALLY FEEL ABOUT MY PEOPLE COMING OUT THERE. WE‘RE NOT WANTED AND I’M UPSET I EVER SPENT A DIME THERE! NEVER AGAIN! Thank you for making my son’s birthday experience so memorably racist..!!!! You can lie all you like, I was not 20 minutes late. And like I said, you had reservations for 9:15 PM, but told me the kitchen was strictly closed at 9 then said it closes at 9:15. Either way you were rude, unprofessional and demeaning. Never once did I act inappropriately, or disrespect anyone. So you can save that “act accordingly” narrative for someone else!

Really love this place for food, service and ambiance. Their bang bang shrimp appetizer is very good. My wife had a filet and loved it. I had the pork chop, since others raved about it. I hate to admit that I was disappointed. It was seasoned beautifully and had a delicious taste, but was a bit too dry, and therefore, a bit tough. It was also extremely lean; I like that layer of fat on the edge of pork chop. This seemed a bit too closely trimmed.

I have been fortunate to dine here on several occasions, and it never disappoints! Lucia's does a great job blending fine dining in a casual atmosphere. The staff members are very pleasant, not pretentious. The food is top quality! They have lots of wonderful options to choose from ranging from high-quality seafood to premium cuts of meat and everything in between! I also enjoyed their creative cocktails, especially their signature lemon drop! I highly recommend making a reservation well in advance. They book to capacity on most nights....this restaurant is worth the wait!

We went to Lucia’s for my birthday. We have always loved it there. To our surprise we were very disappointed. There was four of us. We all got the same thing that we always get when we go there, the lobster linguine. When the waiter brought our food out we all looked at each other and we were very surprised about the small portion of food we all received. As mentioned we have been there before and the plates are usually heaping with linguine. Not this time it was as if they took two meals and split it between four people. We mentioned it to our waiter about the small portion and he just patted my son on the back and says boy you must be a hungry boy. We always have leftovers when we leave there not this day everybody ate their full meal. We also had appetizers. I decided to call the owner who I spoke to, Jay. Throughout the whole conversation he denied my complaint. In the end he promised a gift to come in the mail that was four months ago. The owner Jay lacks integrity. They have definitely cut back on portions (at least they did our day there).

If you can get a reservation, run don't walk to Lucia's! The food is awesome & the service is great! I'm not big on desserts, but the servers don't rush you to leave so I'm always tempted to try one. WOW!! The desserts always end up being delish!😋

So usually it’s really enjoyable here and I have recommended the place many times. However the last two times have been a really bad time. The drinks were watered down and asked them to be remade but still tasted the same. The Wagyu Beef was fatty and when the server asked about it nothing was done. It’s a lot of money for something to be really far off. Won’t be coming back again.

Staff are wonderfully attentive without hovering. They know how to handle a crowd, they're packed every night. Well versed on their menu and other selections. The food is excellent, but it is certainly expensive. The decor fits the upscale lakefront theme.

Came here for Valentine’s Day save everything exceeded my expectations! The calamari was not only a large portion but melt in your mouth- not chewy whatsoever! The friend goat cheese Salad was great and my husband and I both ordered steaks, he had the bone in filet which was amazing and I had just an 8oz filet with a lobster tail and the lobster was the best lobster I have ever eaten before!! Service was top notch as well, we are looking forward to going back next month

Nearly everything was on point. Service, ambiance and most of the food. I ordered the A5 wagyu ribeye steak for $129 US. There was no spinalis, it was sliced into strips and had not even a hint of maillard reaction. This cut was a strip steak. The nice server said they always look like that. She offered to take it to the kitchen. We were celebrating Valentine's Day and I didn't want to ruin it for my fiancé so I let it go. I was only able to consume about 1/3 of it. It was also not warm enough to melt the butter that came with it. Everything else was amazing.

Did not live up to the hype. Waitress was a bit rude. The food was ok. Entrees come with sides? At a “high end” restaurant? The green beans were under seasoned and difficult to chew. Felt very rushed the entire time. The parking is horrendous. Overall unpleasant experience. It’s just trendy right now, trends are always disappointing.

Wonderful place. Definitely lives up to its reputation. It just feels like a special place. We were seated immediately and service was very good. Fantastic apps and entrees. Lobster linguini, pork chop, chicken milanase, and jumbo scallops risotto all excellent. Appetizer crab cakes, and pork belly really good. I hate to even say it but the only negative was one of the desserts. The chocolate salted caramel pie was disappointing. It was too hard to even cut a piece off and very, very sweet. Like crystallized sugar sweet. Got it to share and we both gave up on it. The other desserts at the table were better. All in all though an exceptional place.

Not our favorite restaurant anymore. Firstly we were sat at 6:15 pm, ordered 2 entrees. Took 25 mins for bread to come to te table and entrees came out at 7:25pm. Our waiter John who thought that was acceptable, he gave us a desert as a comp. The restaurant noise level is so high , it’s now like a food hall. Food was good but service was horrible and so was ambience. No manager came over which they always do, not worth waiting months for a reservation anymore

We went there to celebrate my birthday! Our server Kate was wonderfully attentive. Our waters were constantly refilled. Our plates were removed timely. I didn’t have room for dessert, but she still brought out a sweet little birthday treat for me. Drinks were excellent. The wedge salad was yummy. I would love some red onion on it though… just my preference. I got the scallops and they were the best I’ve had in my whole life! The sear was amazing and the taste was rich and meaty. The carmelized onion and bacon risotto was amazing. Another table member had the braised short ribs and they were very pleased with them. The noise level was a little louder than we would have preferred, but it did subside as people left. The tables are close but definitely not on top of each other. I’ve been here in the summer and the view of the lake across the street is awe inspiring. Make your reservation early because it’s hard to get in.

Living in buffalo all you hear about is Lucia’s on the lake as one of the best places to eat . Well then people might start researching more and asking people who actually enjoy going out and enjoying great food because I was not impressed at this price point . First off I waited 3 months for a reservation witch is insane to me this isn’t Vegas. I’m just a city boy trying to enjoy some amazing food . Started off at the beginning with a bad experience sitting waiting 20 minutes for a server to even approach our table witch I can understand if they didn’t have the staff witch wasn’t the case Wasn’t even offered bread like all the other tables around us witch definitely made me feel like we were being treated differently. So we had to order the bread board .After having to pick different options to what we originally wanted to order because they were sold out . If you are going to be concerned a steak house I would recommend not selling out on your most expensive steak . The appetizers calamari and bread board was very good . Are dinners were also very good but nothing special the short ribs was definitely not on point and the seafood pasta well it was seafood pasta .Like I said wasn’t my first choice would have loved to have a tomahawk but like I said that was sold out and other steak options also the only steak that was available was the Japanese Wagyu. Would I go back maybe and try something thing else and hopefully have a better experience.

It's worth the hype. We had the oysters and muscles for appetizers. I had the lobster fettuccine for my main. They were able to accommodate my request for a dairy free meal. My husband had the steak and scallops. The BEST scallop I have ever tasted. Perfectly caramelized on the outside and so tender though out. Several specials were ordered, and everyone had nothing but positive things to say.

Big portions coupled with tasty dishes. Only issue is the tables are a little on the smaller side. The dining room feels cramped.

My daughter treated me to a wonderful delicious dinner. Reverations were two months to get a table and was well worth the wait. Will never forget it. The view was beautiful on the lake. The food was incredible. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. Place was very clean and elegant. Will be back.

Lucia's is a great place. The food is excellent and the choices on the menu perfect. There is something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. From beef stroganoff or rigatoni, or lobster ravioli to filet mignon or waygu beef you can't go wrong. The beef stroganoff melts in your mouth and the crock of French onion soup is huge and loaded with cheese! Save room for dessert because everything g is home made and awesome. We had to take ours home we were so full. Service is excellent! Can't say enough about this restaurant!

This steak is perfectly cook and slowly eaten. Wonderful place for a special night with special people. It is absolutely pricey yet priceless!

Tried this restaurant about 5 years ago and it was terrible, the chicken was rubbery, there was just nothing about anything we had that was better than mediocre. Although the dessert we had was good. We decided to give it another try after someone was raving about the short ribs. We had to get a reservation months in advance. I was expecting the food to be much better since it's always so busy. I'll start with the positives, service was good, food came out fairly quickly, they serve pretty good bread with both butter and olive oil dip, and all of that was really good. The french fries are fresh cut and those were also good, although the garlic and gorgonzola dipping sauces were quite bland. The key lime pie was fantastic although it was a pretty small piece for $12, extremely overpriced! Everything on the menu is overpriced. They had a sweet potato maple bourbon bisque that was really great, creamy texture and great flavor. My friend got the pork belly but was unimpressed. I was so excited for the short ribs, the waiter said they had been braised all day and that it's a customer favorite. It was so disappointing, I went to cut into it with my fork expecting it to be tender and fall apart and it was so tough I had to use a knife to cut it, it was not tender. Flavor was mediocre. But the texture was extremely disappointing. The mashed potatoes were decent, nothing to write home about...as was the asparagus. Will definitely not be back, way overpriced for disappointing quality. If you want delicious, fork tender, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, short rib... go to vault@237. response to owner* - actually the waiter said maybe it was a "bad cut" or fatty- that WASNT the issue. they were not cooked properly to be tender. why would i wait around for you to cook them for another 30 minutes til they were as tender they shouldve been in the 1st place?! as for bringing in water bottles- we arent interested in drinking chemical tap water...i review restaurants regularly and you are the only person that has ever said a word about it...so no, "most" restaurants do not have that policy. you say you "allowed" us, as if you think you have the right to control if people drink their own filtered water. thats absurd!

If you want a true dining experience,,,this is the place. The servers have been trained well. Jared was our waiter & was very knowledgeable about menu items. Water was filled & dirty plates removed without being asked. Food was delicious. Lobster Linguine, devine. The Cosmo was smooth & delicious. Well worth the 2 month wait for a reservation.

Relaxed fine dining by the lake. Top notch service, great cocktails, diverse menu, large portions. Get the charcuterie board to start. Short ribs are a highlight.

Love this place!! It rained the night I came in but it was nicely decorated inside and quite lively and not stuffy at all. Not dark like other fine dining places. Great food and better service. Special place.

Exceeded my expectations. Absolutely amazing service, and the food? To die for! Everything from start to finish was superb. My husband ahead of time even called the restaurant and had them put a cute lil note on our table🥰. I can not WAIT to come here again. My new favorite 😍. I got the short rib, literally fell off the bone! And he got the tomahawk steak, HUGE. We also got a side of tobacco onions, which was a massive side as well, it tastes like onion ring chips 😋. Once again amazing, incredible, beyond perfect. ALL OF IT 🙌🏼
