This is a small place with limited indoor seating. Outdoor seating is available too. The chili dogs were great! The french fries were cooked right. Green Flag, the men's bathroom, was very clean.

Loved this place the love to the hotdog was awesome. Unique, plenty of beer. If you love hot dogs and beers. This place I will go back to for food alone.

Bun was over sized and good but hot dog was cut in half and grilled making it dry. It did come with a squirt of cream cheese with grilled onions. The pretzel was an over priced $9 thick braided dough, Not salty. To add toppings it was an extra .50 cents. The caramel and bacon topping tasted old. I gave the pretzel to my dogs and they didn’t complain. This establishment does have an amazing selection of beer but the food is typical bar food. I do t understand the high ratings it has.

The hot dog I had was really good, but not perfect, I would liked a tad bit more sauce on my dog. The booty fries I had were marvelous and delicious. From the bbq to the mayo to the slaw to the fries, everything was perfect.

The gourmet hotdog scene is underrated and this place is just the solution. The food is fantastic, dècor is fabulous, service is relaxed and friendly, and beer selection is unparalleled. Honestly, we love it here for lunch!

It's not just a hot dog! I try a different one every time I go. This one had baked beans, bacon, sour cream, and pineapple. It was so good.

The sweetest hot dog shop in town, hands 'dahn! Love the small space, very cozy. Fantastic, different, unique beer selection. Best part (imo) they have vegan dogs. The company present was cool when we visited too. It was a friendly, small town, regulars type of vibe. Could totally see a TV sitcom filmed in a space like this. If I lived closer I would be a steady regular for sure!

I always stop at Lucky Louie’s when I’m passing through Erie! The “It’s always sunny” is my favorite, and the parm fries are fantastic. I also love that they have the kids octodog! The outdoor seating area is amazing and beautiful.

I have only been here a couple of times, and I am already begging my friends for a group trip back! Such a welcoming environment whether you are stopping by yourself or with a group, and so many options to choose from that I want to try them all!

They have a big selection of dishes and they all are good. It's difficult to make a decision on what to get. Expensive but worth it I think.

Worst / most expensive hot dog I have ever had. "Cheese sauce" is a yellow tasteless watery substance, dog was no better than a sheetz dog, bacon was more pepper than bacon. Bun was soft & fresh. Fries were typical battered fries out of a bag. $18 for a disappointing dog & fries.

Best wiener-ing of my life. Plus I think they’re coating the fries in either straight MSG or crack, either way they’re fantastic and you need them.

Always an awesome place to go spend some time get a huge variety of beers and awesome creative sandwiches you can't find anywhere else. Love what they doing with the outside and such a huge place and space to go get away and relax

The hot dogs were great, it was very busy, and a little loud. But if you are in the area, definitely grab a hot dog. They sell beer on your left, and directly across from the entrance is where you order. The bathrooms were clean and on the right side just past the menu on the wall.

I had the Yinzer. It was so good . I love perogies and sausage, so putting them both on the same roll.... Perfect. Not only were the people working there nice... so were the customers. Everyone was just super friendly and chill..awesome vibe. Wish it was closer because we would definitely go back.

Best wieners in PA, maybe in all of the US! We often travel to Erie JUST to have a wiener at Lucky Louie’s. No pics because we inhale the food as soon as it gets to our table! Maybe next time I’ll remember to snap a few pics. Also have a great beer selection.

We ALWAYS stop here on a trip to Erie! Best hot dogs anywhere in Pennsylvania or Ohio. I never remember a picture of our food because we just can’t wait to eat it. They also have a great selection of beers to have there or make a six pack to go.

I used to deliver here. Decided to try it last summer. Not only is everything superman power clean, they are friendly and the food is great. It is rare that I leave reviews for places I used to deliver food, but this place is a guarantee for great food and drinks. Across from the casino, save some money and support a local business. Gravel lot, yes. Beer distributor, yes. Great family spot, absolutely!!!! Loved you when I delivered there, love you now and always will. Keep up the excellent work!!! God bless

It’s great. Simple yet complicated. Easy to love, hard to hate. It’s a hot dog shop, but not. It’s a beer shop, but more. If you haven’t, you should. If you have, you will again.

We love going to Lucky Louie's it's fun for our whole family. We love you eat outside even when its cold because they have heaters and my kids love playing all the games they have there, and they go crazy over the octodog and poutine. They also have a wide variety of beer and other adult beverages, and the food is delicious!

Hot dogs like no other. I had the Yankee, split & grilled dog on a crispy, grilled crusted pretzel bun topped with kraut & mustard. Tried a Reuben dog too. Interesting combination of dog & corned beef on a softer bun. Large selection of craft & imported beers & ciders. Now offering half a dozen plus types of loaded fries. Covered outdoor seating as weather permits.

The Googling prowess of my husband struck again! He found the best hidden jem just off the I-90 in Erie, PA. Lucky Louie's Beer & Weiners 🤣 It did not disappoint. The beer selection is massive (150+) along with some nice ciders and non-alcoholic options. The hot dogs are amazing! He went with the Yinzer and I couldn't pass up trying the Dixie Normous 🤣😂 We also tried the freshly made pretzel bites with horseycheese sauce - fantastic! The outdoor, heated seating was cozy and warm. We left full and happy. Highly recommend if you're passing through this part of PA.

Been here twice and both times were great! They've got a variety of creative combinations so there is something for everyone. Service was friendly and quick. I live 2 hours away and am looking for excuses to drive through Erie and stop here again!

For anyone who hasn't stopped here, it is a must if you love your dogs! There is a vast selection that can satisfy any pallette. It is a cozy little spot with friendly personable staff, as well as friendly customers to share your dining experience with. Amazing selection of microbrews, IPAs, ciders, and non alcoholic beverage as well. The funnel fries were an amazing dessert delight! It is incredibly reasonably priced with generous portions & toppings. It is a local favorite "hole in the wall" dive spot & worth checking out if you are in town! #grablifebytheweiner

Lucky Louie's was a fantastic place to eat, a great selection of dressed up hot dogs and fries, and a great selection of beer. We always eat outside in the pavilion, and it's a great atmosphere and experience. I really do love the food - but a little warning here, because this was unexpected. I ordered three hot dogs, two orders of fries (different sizes), and a beer, and it was over $60. Not what my mind comes up with as a normal price for that kind of an order. It was worth it, but don't be surprised :-) Great food, great people, great atmosphere.

First time here and the food was great

This is a cool hot dog and French Fry joint, with a stocked wall of adult bevs and a little-known heated hangout space (with board games) attached. Why have I not known about this before? I’ve never seen anything like it. Nothing fancy. Tables and chairs. Fun string lights. Even bales of hay for seating. But I’m glad I discovered it because it’s another place to hangout and have a drink with friends. I had a lot of fun meeting up with friends, trying some hot dogs with fun toppings, having a couple drinks and catching up in the heated and covered outdoor space. Kind of hard for me to find because it’s in a building with a huge discount beer sign. So if you know that, it won’t be hard to find. Near the Presque isle downs casino.

This is a small hot dog and craft beer restaurant located across from the casino in Erie, PA. There are a lot of creative takes on hot dogs to choose from, and there are multiple stand-up coolers filled with beers! The place is a tad dive-y, and there is not a lot of seating inside. They have upgraded and put some outdoor seating up. Nothing should keep you away from visiting if dogs n beers are uor thing. It's a great little place to stop by for a quick bite and drink.

A group of us get together at Lucky Louie's weekly for a dog and a brew. This is a great place to relax with friends and enjoy one of Louie's gourmet Weiner creations. There even is a desert Weiner...

One of the best beer selections in Erie. For a long time I only came here for beer to go. Has a great location, right by the highway, casino, and hotels. As vegetarian, I never even bothered to look at their hot dog menu. I recently discovered that they have veggie dogs. They have a huge menu of gourmet hot dogs, and can virtually make any one of those vegetarian. They have veggie "bacon" and "chili" too. It was sooo delicious. I really enjoy their outdoor seating as well, open all year long, and it's dog frienly.

Found this little gem on our road trip to the N.E. What a fun little place to eat. Friendly staff, crazy menu with hot dogs you'll never find at a backyard, BBQ! My husband had the "Don't Hassle the Hoff," and I had a Greek dog that had a pierogi on it! We shared a basket of loaded fries. The IPA on tap was delicious, and there is an extensive variety of cold, canned beer as well.

Great hot dogs! Very interesting flavor combinations, but they work. Bun is large enough to contain it all. Very small place on the road side, don't be fooled by the outside. Plenty of beer and dogs inside, and a nice outdoor area on those fair weather days.

So this place is a gem. It is a bit overwhelming when you first walk in. I recommend checking out the menu prior to going. The outside seating area is great. Completely laid back and a great place to hang out and enjoy the afternoon. The food was great and the beer selection was top notch.

The food was great but it wouldn't have been that good without the phenomenal cook behind the counter. Crushed it during busy service!! Her mom was our server and equally as hardworking. Both making sure the experience was 10/10. Highly recommend to all hot dog and beer lovers!

Only reason this didn't get five stars is because it is kind of overpriced for what it is, we are talking literally hot dogs and side dishes, 5 dot dogs, 2 orders of fries, and a pretzel with a 15% tip was just under $100. The inside is small and cramped and you could tell the wait staff were purposely expressing their frustration with having to go around me and my family. The lady who took my order and the man who took our second order after that were very polite and had good attitudes and positive vibes tho se we let it go. Definitely wouldn't take younger kids here if you don't have a sense of humor, some of the stickers and t-shirts for sale were heavy with innuendos. All in all definitely a tourist trap.

First time. A really good friend of mine that loves Miller lite recommended this place. I got the Ruben and the breakfast dogs along with the parmesan fries and she got the Neener Weener! Everything was delicious! I was expecting a slightly larger dog but wasn't disappointed with the ones they offered. We enjoyed a game of Uno outside on the picnic table while we waited on our dogs. Of course I won 🏆 😁. I would recommend Lucky Louies for a relaxed atmosphere and a change from the routine meals most places offer. I'll definitely go back because there are several other Wieners I'd like to try!
