Great food every time. Best chicken platter in the area

Delicious food. Highly recommend it.

I placed a large catering order. Everyone we dealt with at the shop, from the ordering to the pick up was efficient and friendly. We fed over 50 people, including children and vegetarians and everyone enjoyed the food. I heartily recommend the platter house!

The shawarma was one of the best I have eaten in the past 10 years. The vegetables in pita bread were sliced so thinly and skillfully that made the whole dish to crave for. It is a family business and it is my pleasure to support small business- people who put all heart into making customers want to return.

Very friendly staff, best chicken platter I’ve had so far in New Jersey. The food was perfectly seasoned, the chicken was super tender and not dry, and the vegetables on the side were fresh. Went in late around 11pm and everything was still so good and made fresh. Definitely would recommend this place.

Best food in Town, Hamza is the Best

This spot has been here for a while and I’m so sad I didn’t try them before. I was a firm halal guys believer but this place is gas. So good and well seasoned 10/10😌

Way better than the halal guys at teterboro or fort lee. The portions are good and tastes good as well. Got sick of halal guys skimping on portions. Glad I found this place.

First of all I want to preface with saying that this was the very first thing I put into my stomach the day I got it. I was hungry and excited to try a new spot. I was unpleasantly disappointed by overpriced food and a sparring match with bubble guts 5 hours later. Now that the initial bad is out of the way lets move on to the silver lining of the mix platter dish… the chicken. It was seasoned very well and juicy. Now what was the worst was the sad excuse for beef or lamb or whatever it was in the mixed platter. It tasted like a spongy and fresh out the freezer slab of disgrace. I wish I could get a refund but even then the trauma of wasting $16 and fighting for my life on the toilet is permanent. Do better with the prices you are charging or just stick to chicken. God bless.

The meat is top tier, rice a little oily but I like it like that. And it’s not too crazy. Greens tasted amazing I would’ve liked tomatos to be more diced on the platter. Amazing food. I loved it. Burger was top tier and fries were amazing too. 10/10 experience at 12 am after a 9 hour shift

Horrible customer service with the staff, very high prices almost $20 for a mixed platter over rice which doesnt come with a drink, and the quality of the meat was horrible. I figured I'd give it a shot but the horrible service along with the high prices and low food quality make me never want to eat her again.

Just came in so late today before shut down ordered chicken over rice white sauce hot sauce bbq sauce man these guys no matter the time always make you feel welcome man the food and energy in this place 🙌🙌👍👍 and when I eat this food this food I forget to have a beverage lol no bull man guys and they open late 💯 thank u guys

I was skeptical of trying here because I am picky eater but the guy taking my order reassured me I would like it. He was correct! I had the chicken over rice and it was so good! My daughter also liked it so much she had all of her coworkers order from CityMD

I been wanting to try this restaurant out and I’m glad I did!! I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Ended up getting a chicken platter, chicken shawarma and falafels. This will be my go-to for falafels!! So crisp on the outside & fluffy, moist in the inside. I had a few bites of the chicken and rice platter and I like it better than my normal halal restaurant! A little bit more pricey than other restaurants, but so good! I will definitely order from here again!!

Thoroughly enjoyed all of the food, got the Mixed Platter with lamb and chicken, the chicken was flavorful with nice seasoning, lamb soft, overall impressed with this platter so far. Comes with a side of tasty white sauce that goes well with the tomatoes, chopped lettuce and sumac onion. Definitely satisfied my hunger, and such a plus that it’s all Halal👌Friendly staff, Hamza was very nice and accommodating, would definitely come again.

Truly surprised how delicious it was! Grilled chicken is amazing, so are wings and French fries. Husband and I had beef gyros and Greek salad, and it was just amazing! We will be back! Yum!

As you walk in the store is clean and well organized. I had the best chicken platter I’m American from platter House. Everything on the menu is fire. The food is made to order extremely fresh. Killed the gym the next day after this meal. 10/10 for sure.

Solid halal spot on Cedar Lane run by very nice friendly folks. Wish we had something like this when I was growing up in Teaneck. Their gyro platter is pretty good, and kibbeh is phenomenal. This place is in my frequent rotation.

Absolutely one of the best halal restaurants in the area. Everything is fresh and made to order. The staff is very kind and patient. I've only recently found this place but I will be a regular customer for sure.

Food is fine but they don’t follow instructions. I have bulimia so as prescribed by doctor when I am ordering food I have to provide instructions. Otherwise it can cause an episode with over eating and then throwing up. I asked to put 1-2 pieces baklava only, as more pieces are just dangerous to me. They gave me 6 and wrote my order on a package as a joke. It would be fine if I didn’t have a disorder.

I never leave reviews but this was warranted. The mixed kebab plate tasted fresh and healthy. It was probably one of the best halal plate I've had in a long time.

I’ve been meaning to post this review for a while because Platter House has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The chicken shawarma and lamb over rice platter are my faves. And they get bonus points from me for being open late.

Ordered their gyro platter online today. The platter was really excellent and probably the best I ever had yet. Trust me, I have tried almost all of them in this area including the franchise and chain ones.

Definitely recommend for late nights cravings. They are open late compared to other establishments in the area which is convenient for some. They are friendly and give great customer service. The service is good and fast. I tried the crunch chicken wrap with my first experience there which was delicious. I requested for their hot sauce sauce which is definitely in the hotter side but so good. Two thumbs up !

Came to the restaurant twice and so far it has been the best Halal food spot I’ve experienced both food wise and the atmosphere of the place. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants some great food.

I hate to give such a bad rating because I know the food is delicious. I normally order at night (at least once a week) when I get home through Uber Eats. They have THE BEST chicken and rice. They season it so freakin’ good that you rarely need that extra white sauce! I raved about it so much to my friends and coworkers that I decided to bring some to work. I called around 10ish in the morning. We ate our food like around 12pm. It was rockin!!! But then we both had the runs (sorry TMI) allllll day. I’m not sure if the person who makes it at night is the same person that makes it in the morning... But SHEEEESH!! I had to call out today because I’m still running..

So I came here, ordered 3 dishes, the chicken shawarma wrap, the chopped salad with grilled chicken & a little bit white sauce, & a chicken Kabob platter, all three, amazing food. Imran & the cooks are very good hard working men, they make your food with love & offer the best customer service. I was there 1 afternoon & seen another lady telling me that the falafel is the best & to order it. The best halal food in Teaneck.

From the moment I laid eyes on the pistachio cake and baklava, I knew I was in for a treat. The rich green hue of the pistachios used in both desserts was a feast for the eyes, and the aroma wafting from them was simply heavenly. The first bite of the pistachio cake was pure bliss. The cake was moist and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The pistachio flavor was present throughout the cake, but not overpowering. It melted a bit because I had it in my bag but I’m sure that made it even more scrumptious! The pistachio baklava was equally as impressive. The layers of phyllo dough were perfectly crispy, and the pistachio filling was sweet and nutty. The drizzle of honey on top added just the right amount of sweetness, and the pistachio pieces added a nice crunch. Overall, both the pistachio cake and baklava were absolutely stunning. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. I would highly recommend these desserts to anyone looking for a sweet treat that is sure to impress. 10/10 Would Recommend
