I'm not exaggerating when I say I had the BEST CROISSANT of my life here. All the baked goods were *delicious*, but that pain au chocolat was a trip highlight!

We visited in the morning for a pastry and coffee. We got an apple pastry, which was delicious and not super sweet (which is my preference). The coffee house is an old church and has local art and gifts for purchase. There is fairly limited seating, so make sure you confirm there’s space before ordering. We found ourselves wandering with mugs full of coffee as we didn’t think to ask for it to go.

This coffeehouse was one of the coolest I’ve ever been to. Husband got a latte (that he thoroughly enjoyed) while I shopped and got what is now my favorite necklace from a local artist. Love the atmosphere here and we can’t wait to come back when we visit next.

A wonderful, eclectic fun cafe with tasty treats and delicious drinks. We stopped in early morning as we were camping nearby. It been a couple years since I been here. Glad to see not much has changed. The kids and I got a hot chocolate, the gingerbread with cinnamon latte, apple crumble scone and a jalapeño bacon bagel and bomb and a breakfast focaccia. All delicious. Came about to about $30 before tips. The line wasn’t long as we came in before 8:00 AM but it got crowded after we were there for 30 minutes. We found seats easily as there wasn’t many customers when we arrived. Plenty of local unique items to purchase as well. There is also sitting outside in the front. There is a wheelchair ramp to the entrance. Would recommend and will come back when in area.

Good coffee and nice atmosphere. But a half hour wait just to put in your order, and then an additional 20 minutes to receive it is unacceptable. For that reason alone I would not go back. (Also, not one vegan option among the baked goods. Left hungry)

To call the Resurrect Art Coffee House a mere coffee shop is to blaspheme against the very concept of spiritual transcendence! This establishment in Seward is not just a place to procure your daily dose of caffeine—it is a sanctified temple, a cathedral where the weary soul finds not just reprieve but salvation itself. Enshrined within the venerable walls of a former Lutheran sanctuary—walls that have witnessed both the fervor of devotion and the despair of human frailty—the Resurrect Art Coffee House offers a path to redemption through the sacred rites of pastry and beverage. The pastries are no mere earthly indulgences; they are divine sacraments, offerings to the gods of taste and texture, crafted with an almost heretical devotion to perfection. The cinnamon roll, in particular, is a relic of salvation—a spiral of sugary redemption, its layers a journey through the labyrinth of sin to the pure, sweet center of divine grace. The liberal anointment of creamed frosting is no ordinary topping; it is an absolution, a baptism in sweetness that washes away the bitterness of existence and delivers the devout to a state of gustatory grace. But beware, for to neglect this sacrament is to risk the eternal damnation of the soul! To pass by this cinnamon roll without partaking is to condemn oneself to a life of flavorless purgatory, a descent into the depths of culinary despair. And then, there is the London Fog—a tea latte of such celestial composition that it offers not just refreshment, but a communion with the divine. The lavender infusion is not simply an addition; it is the breath of the Holy Spirit, lifting the fog from both the day and the soul, guiding the lost toward the light of existential clarity. To partake of this elixir is to find salvation from the spiritual malaise that plagues modern existence. To bestow upon this experience a mere five stars is to commit a grave injustice, a sin against the very sanctity of this sacred space. The Resurrect Art Coffee House is not just a stop along the way; it is a pilgrimage site, a holy ground where the devout can find both salvation and enlightenment. I shall return not merely as a patron, but as a pilgrim, seeking redemption and the divine grace that only this exalted sanctuary can provide.

It was my first time visiting this cute and colourful coffee shop in Seward, AK, and I enjoyed visiting! Cute little coffee shop in a historic church and heart of downtown Seward. Wide variety of custom-made coffee drinks and Italian sodas and homemade pastries. A wide variety of artwork, jewelry and clothing assortment as well. They have a nice little garden area outside for sitting in the beautiful weather. I would’ve loved to seen the old wood-burning stove, fired up! My daughter loves this place while she is here for the summer. My son said the chocolate croissant was the best he’s ever had. The Italian soda was tasty as well. They were pretty busy and working their tails off to fill orders promptly. Quite a few people with luggage either coming or going.

As someone who works in Seward for the summer, Resurrect Art is my go-to coffee place on my days off. Their coffee is delicious and their baked goods are incredible. My favorite are their cinnamon rolls - perfectly moist and topped with thick icing. Everything is handmade here, including the art. Inside is comfortable seating, with an upstairs full of couches and chairs and even a chess table. On warm days sitting by the windows up top is a nice way to get a beautiful view and a nice breeze while enjoying a coffee and pastry. The line can be long on weekends, but that’s because every drink is carefully made to order. Even with lots of people, the line moves pretty quickly and it’s absolutely worth it. Resurrect Art is a gem here in Seward. The walls are full of art, there are prints and handmade gifts for sale, and the coffee and food is always good. If you’re here, definitely make sure you stop by!

Because Swords is a small city, there aren't many cafes and the ones that do close close early. This place was open until 5 p.m., so I took the Seward Free Shuttle from around Seward Train Station to stay for about 30 minutes. It takes about 25 minutes to walk. It seems like many people other than me have nowhere else to go and gather here. I ordered a menu item called Kaladi, but I don't know if it's the same as the coffee from Kaladi Brothers in Anchorage. The taste is just mocha. It's not bad. Employees move quickly to fulfill the influx of orders. Like Starbucks, they write your name on the cup and call your name when your drink is ready.
