A simple word...Outstanding! Brought some friends in from out of town. They were very impressed, too!

Food was phenomenal, highly recommend!

Our meals were delicious. I had the grouper special and my friend had the pasta special. Both were outstanding and inventive . Kate, our waitress , was exceptional-efficient and welcoming . The restaurant is cute near the beach, but not where you would expect to find a 5 star dinner. Its location is between ice cream and souvenir shops. If you want a great meal, go to Luna’s!! We will come any time we are in Cocoa Beach.

Food, service, and atmosphere are top notch and will keep me coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quiet atmosphere inside Luna being that the location is so close to the chaos. We were immediately acknowledged and consistently cared for by all 3 gentlemen working. The food is a bit pricey but absolutely worth while! Be sure to save room for dessert!!! All made in house and definitely a must to finish off the great meal!! We would definitely go back!!!

I’d have to say ‘pretty good’ but our experience didn’t match the reviews. Scallops appetizer were just ok, as deep fried not my favorite style. The ravioli was al dente but a little firm for my taste. Service was very good. Ambience felt like a beach bar with white tablecloths.

All the food was great with the exception of the 78.00 ribeye which caught me off guard because I didn’t know the price. The cut of meat and the way it was cooked (no crust or even a sear mark) was equivalent to a 30.00ish dollar ribeye. To the totally honest, Texas Roadhouse has better cuts of meat at a fraction of the cost.

My husband and I came here and everything was perfect. The food, drinks, and our waiter were amazing. I’m not a big fish fan, but the fish they served was delightful. The escargot was absolutely Amazing.

This establishment keeps a dog bowl of ice cold water outside their doors and that makes me love them so much more

Cute, intimate restaurant. Beware of the food though; very expensive and just okay…we are from Jacksonville and I could get better food for the same price. I thought this would be a good date night idea but would rather save the money and eat somewhere else. They also charge you a CC fee…we are in 2024, as a business that charges $30+ a plate, you should eat the cost… Overall I’m VERY disappointed in this restaurant, save yourself the time, money and go to Outback

Found this little gem coincidentally while visiting Cocoa Beach! The food, atmosphere and service were exceptional.

Would definitely recommend coming here to experience amazing flavorful food! The scallops and escargot were out of this world! The main dishes of steak were full of flavor but very over priced. Staff were very friendly and we were not rushed at all which really made for a very nice meal.

Had a nice dinner here celebrating Father's Day. We started with their scallop appitozer, which was fried in a panko Wasabi coating. It had a nice kick but not too bad. My only complaint was the Scallops were a little cold in the middle. My wife had the Corvina fish special. It was fileted lightly broiled with a sauce on the bottom. The fish was tender but not as tasty as she would have hoped, given the price charged. I had the beef filled ravioli on the regular main menu that was very tasty and cooked well. It was the favorite dish at the table. My son had the ravioli special, filled with grouper in a pesto sauce. He did not like the sauce, nor did I. But the pasta was cooked aldante, the way we like it. We skipped dessert and had one glass of wine and iced tea. The service was attentive and fast. I think it's worth checking this place out. Just need to experiment with the menu and ask a lot of questions. Sometimes complicated combinations take away from the overall taste. Just an opinion. Small room, so make reservations before coming in.

My love and I tried Luna Food and Wine on Cocoa Beach last night.....My of freaking my! It was an incredible dinner. Nothing was left but the tail to my lobster and a couple shreds of carrot. (Not a huge carrot fan, or I would have eaten those too!) We had the crab cake appetizer, to start. I had the Shrimp Mac and cheese, and added the lobster tail. My love had the grouper stuffed ravioli, for dinner. Everything is made in house, even the pasta. The service was impeccable. It is "slap your momma, good"....Cut of your pinky toe, good...For the younger generations, it is lit, dope, rad, awesome, killer, sick, legit. Bomb, fire, and tight all in one.

4 Star Food, 1 Star Environment. Recently had dinner at Luna. The food was absolutely amazing. We all had different dishes and each tried each others. Not a bad bite one! It’s a shame we could not fully enjoy the food or even finish the food because of the heat. Only one mini split AC was half working and only one of four fans worked. It was hot as hades. Unacceptable in Florida in the summer. $200 per couple plus tip and they can’t even fix the fans? They did not warn us when we made reservations either. Even the staff was boiling in the heat which might have explained sub par service. Will not go back and will not recommend.

This is a very small restaurant, with a huge atmosphere and ambiance. We came in on a Saturday evening with a large party (8), We did not have reservations, and the staff Initially told us that they were booked up and could not accommodate us. The staff suggested a nearby restaurant for us, and after we had left they chased us down and told us they would figure a way to fit us in. The staff and food were 5-star, Everything was delicious, in large portions, & reasonably priced. I had the Huli Huli Tuna and it was awesome. Will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know, and will be back next time I am in the area.

Such a cool spot right in the middle of downtown! The service was fantastic and the food was so good. I highly recommend the carpaccio appetizer.

Service was amazing, so attentive and such a cozy feel in here. The atmosphere , even down to the glassware made me feel very much like I was back with family at their homes or restaurants in Hawaii. We started with and loved the truffle fries, and shared the salmon(cooked perfectly) and chicken breast. The coconut rice served with the mains was absolutely amazing. Drinks were made well with gorgeous presentation. I can’t wait to come back.

The employees were very unprofessional they decided to unrightfully give me attitude and later kick me out for no reason at all. I found it very disgusting!!!!! The environment was terrible, nasty, garbage!!!!

Vacationing and decided to give the restaurant a try. WOW.... from the food to the service it was an amazing experience! Highly recommend!

Deeply disappointed here. Service was OK but…The margarita was so bad I returned it, and the bread was overpriced and minimal on amount. The coffee salmon was inedible and they still charged $33 for it. My wife’s mai tai was mediocre at best and the kids food was just meh. It’s so incredibly small so if you have one night here like we did, do not waste your time here. We spent $163 and I regret nearly every penny.

We had a party of 10 and the staff did an unbelievable job. The food was phenomenal to quote one of those in our party. Being from Palm Beach area I had no knowledge of restaurants in the area except for some online reviews. I was optimistic after speaking to owner when I made my reservation. However, the experience exceeded expectations. Cocoa Beach you may not know it but you have something special in town!

The bartenders were amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us with choosing our drinks and both were excellent. The expresso martini is by far the best I've had in Brevard. Definitely recommend this place!

Simply one of the best "fine dining" establishments in downtown Cocoa Beach. Awesome Hawaiian menu, minus the sticky rice and macaroni salad!

Wonderful for our special occasion dinner.

My 3rd time and last at Luna. Martini came with a lemon wedge instead of a twist. Bad start. Ordered the calamari and shrimp appetizer. The tempura veggies were badly overcooked and the tempura very soggy. Calamari were way overdone as well, rubbery and the dusting of [corn?] coating was thin, dry. floury and salty. Sadly while the shrimp was cooked to a nice doneness, the batter was also VERY soggy. This is not rocket science, folks. The waitress, Melissa, was absolutely not interested in bringing constructive criticism back to the kitchen, not even enquiring how everything was. I asked if she wanted feedback... She offered to get the chef to come out but I declined. Not my business to fix. Asked for the check as there was little chance of anything else being satisfactory!

Bring a big wallet! Hate when they say they have a bread board on the menu! And they charge 7. 00 for bread. Order a 8 oz steak said MP price. Bill came was $6500 nothing special!!

We have been going to Luna since opening and all of our meals (lunch and dinner) have been a delight.

If you’ve been to Italy then you just know. Never dreamed I would find extraordinary Italian food and such high quality cuisine in general at Cocoa Beach, USA. It’s a treat and a privilege to dine at LUNA!

Portions could be a little bigger. The food was excellent.

It's okay here. I started my experience with a reservation, and you will need one to sit inside, by the way!! However, when I walked in, I realized it was quite small, not a lot of room. Then, when I sat down at my table, I had barely any leg room. However, the drinks were really good! After that, we go to ordering. I ordered the lobster ravioli for $30 and was thinking, oh, this must be a lot of ravioli! It was five. Five ravioli, in the past, they had bigger food portions, the past as in last year. However, those 5 ravioli were pretty delicious, but only 3/5 of them had lobster, which was annoying. Then I went to the bathroom, which was very well decorated! And they had this coconut soap that smelled super good! After that, I returned to my table and decided I wanted dessert, so I ordered the chocolate lava cake thing to share with my brother, because I remember it being HUGE in year past, like this huge slice of chocolate cake as big as my head, so we ordered that. The circumference of the cake was the size of the soda can. It was so tiny for a big price. And it tasted like the ones tou can get a domino's but triple the price. It also took a longgggg time for the food to get here, like 45 minutes. And the servers also felt very fake and hateful aswell from the moment we stepped in the door.

Perfect in every way! From the cozy laid back vibe to the fresh perfectly prepared seafood to the delicious desserts. A great date night/special outing for the family. Make sure to call a few days ahead for your reservation but for a small party there is bar seating and a couple of outdoor tables that are first come first serve. Not to be missed! I wanted to update this review. We were at Luna last June while on vacation and sitting here in the middle of winter, that meal comes to mind and makes us excited to visit again when we visit cocoa this summer. Meals like that do not come around often but can be found in abundance served by the caring hands of the staff at Luna at Kahuna. Do it. You will not regret it.

I almost never leave reviews but tonight’s dinner absolutely blew us away! The coconut shrimp was the best we have ever had, veggies and rice cooked perfectly and a delicious steak with the best toppings. To top that off the service could not have been better!! It absolutely made the dinner. Andy was our waiter and knew everything about the menu and was so friendly and on top of everything. The other staff also checked in and was soo nice! We cannot wait to go back and try more!

Very small place, fantastic food!

Stopped here after trying to get into Coconuts and we should have just gone here first. Small spot but big tastes. Service was great with just two people and the food was amazing. Chef came out at the end and thanked everyone in the place. A definite stop in the area.

There was such an attention to detail with our entire evening, from the intimate tables with a hand printed name for our reservation all the way to the delicious dessert. I cannot wait to go again!! Our experience at LUNA was nothing short of fantastic. The service and vibe was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I had the lobster ravioli (they make the pasta fresh!) based on our server’s suggestion and was blown away by the balanced and unique flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for making our night extra special!

To rate a restaurant one must take in consideration from the time you sit till the time you leave. I've had the privilege to have dine in upscale restaurants in NYC to the west coast and little did I know I would find this cozy little jewel by the beach in the place I reside. If you are looking for a custom perfevted crafted meal on the spot? This is the place to visit. I chose a change of venue from our local food establishments in orlando for my wife's birthday and to our surprise we both walked away with a memorable experience this evening. We ordered the scallop appetizer and Cobia specials on the menu and each bite was an explosion of tastes and textures. After being the last ones in the dining room our evening was capped by enjoying the company of Chef Luca, his back of house crew and front of the house Sarah, TJ and Andy. I kidd not when I say that the experience we had was like having a family homemade meal in a village in Italy. Thank you Luna Restaurante... until the next time!!!!

A great little restaurant with a high end menu and casual feel. The pasta ravioli options are inventive and the seafood dishes are local. We also enjoyed the carpaccio and beets to start. Service was friendly and attentive without being pushy.

Excellent food and wine. I had the trio shrimp which was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was perfect for a date night and the service was wonderful. Make sure you get a reservation though bc the restaurant itself is small!

We sat outside for lunch. (Saturday and Sundays) Food is fantastic Pictures of the Grilled Chicken and the Salmon and rice. Favorites We will be back.

This was a delightful spur of the moment lunch spot. We were going to the kite festival. Luna was able to seat us right away. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was Amazing. 5 of us ordered 4 different dishes. Asian salmon with Coconut rice. My 11 year old grandson ordered that. He had every sample it to know how delicious it was. It was 👍 I've never had better coconut rice! The salmon was perfect too. 2 of us had the blackened mahi tacos 🌮 OMG !!! You should Definitely have this. My sister had the chicken taco. It looked beautiful & she ate every bite. Desserts were equally good. All food was fresh, perfectly coked & beautiful presen ted. A great spot. It's small, so you should hurry.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Visited Cocoa for a weekend in November and All I can say is it was this restaurant experience was AMAZING. We will be back!

New place (been a bit since last time there) is very nice. Service was great and our food was very good. Bread was excellent (says the bread snob). The only minor issue is the old fashioned was meh.

We had a great experience at lunch at Luna. The Frozen pina colada was absolutely delicious as well as the choices of beers. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat outside as we had our puppy along with us. I recommend this place highly.

Went in asked for a quick appetizer was told it would take over 20 min so I ordered a drink instead. $17 for a beverage and it was disgusting. Took 2 sips and threw it straight in the trash.

Excellent dinner, excellent service. Friday night was rather loud in the dining room. Primarily due to some really loud customers, but otherwise a very good dining experience.

We sat at the bar. Service was excellent. Andy was very attentive to our water glasses and served delicious food. Ravioli, house special dessert cobbler was so good! Enjoyable dinner, busy restaurant and great service.

The food and service were phenomenal. My husband had the macadamia encrusted mahi-mahi with coconut rice. Very flavorful! I had the braised beef ravioli. To die for! The beef was savory and the brown butter sauce, delicious, with a hint of nutmeg. Highly recommend this restaurant!

What a nice surprise!! By far the best meal I have had in Cocoa Beach so far. I had the Corvina special. It was melt in your mouth delicious. The staff was wonderful to talk with as well. A beautiful intimate place for special occasions.

We had a lovely meal with our two children. Kids meals were pricey for what you got. Food was tasty and service was excellent.

This little stop is a "Not to be overlooked". The chef prepares some of the most fabulous food I have ever tasted. And his desserts are superior to most anything you can get at a fine dining place. Best food we have experienced this trip and most trips!

Not what I expected. The reviews were very good so I had high hopes for this restaurant. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was dry and overcooked. The side vegetables were good but not good enough to make me forget how bad the fish was. They forgot about my daughter’s drink which is not a big deal but when we asked for a straw, the waiter brought an unwrapped straw, with his bear hand, and stuck it straight in the drink. Just disgusting and he was kind of rude. Not worth the price. Sorry Luna but not good.

This is our second time at this restaurant. Our first time was at their original location and we could not wait to come back. The food was amazing again the second time, however the atmosphere was a lot different. This is a more upscale romantic restaurant, but their new location is not great. I would recommend putting up curtains on the windows as everyone walking by the giant windows while we were trying to enjoy a nice meal was distracting. We still highly recommend the food and drinks, but would like to see the ambiance go back to the original location.

Wonderful dining experience. We were seated right away and received our food pretty quickly. But most importantly the food was DELICIOUS. The special we ordered was the scallops and they were the best I've ever had. We would love to return to this restaurant when we're back in town.

Very friendly service and an interesting menu; nice to find a restaurant serving something other than pizza/burger/fries etc! Not cheap but ok. One constructive criticism: some dishes are overly complicated and as a result a bit “messy” eg why put coleslaw onto of spinach (fish dish)? Sometimes less is more.

This place is hard to find, keep looking until you’ll find it. You’ll thank me when you do. Their heavenly hibiscus martini is strong and packs a punch of both flavor and booze. Get ready to party! Norma, Megan, and Anna are all excellent and attentive. The chef came out a couple times and he looks like he’s working hard and cares about his craft. This staff will give you full Cocoa Beach hospitality and go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable culinary experience and remainder of your evening. The bread appetizer smells sweet. It is flaky and fresh. The dipping sauce has a balsamic flavor, olive oil and spices. If you sit at the bar, you get to enjoy looking at a television that plays images of aquatic life. The lobster ravioli is some of the best, appears hand made, it’s eye-catching, smells of butter, creamy lobster insides, delicious drizzle of sauce and it’s garnished with fresh shredded Parmesan cheese. The lobster ravioli is a small portion so don’t be afraid to get dessert. When I say WOW… I truly mean it.

Every year when my family goes to Cocoa Beach, we would go to this restaurant's predecessor. This place blew the predecessor out of the water. The service is friendly and feels very personal. The food is cooked and presented in a thoughtful manner where you can tell the chef pays careful attention to not only how the food tastes but also how the diner will experience the food. We will absolutely be back and I encourage reservations for dinner.

Great food at a reasonable price right downtown steps away from the beach. We had the corvina and the filet mignon. They were out of this world. I highly recommend Luna when you visit Cocoa Beach 🏝️

The food here was amazing! My husband had the steak and lobster & I had their special pasta. Everything was cooked perfectly and the presentation was beautiful. We even had dessert which was also delicious- chocolate fondant. We highly recommend!

We focused on the specials tonight. Scallop appetizer and pan seared Grouper entree. Both were amazing! The flavors and the preparation are beautiful. Highly recommend Luna. We’ve been customers for a long time and have never been disappointed.

Food is very good! The night we went I had surf/turf … the breaded mahi with pina colada sauce. So freaking good! The pina colada sauce, that was like a mad genius recipe. The steak …. So soft, packed with flavor! Even the mashed potatoes were delicious. Cooked perfect and seasoned so good! Very small venue, so definitely call ahead if it is for a special night out!

I don't leave reviews unless an experience truly warrants it. Luna really stands outs as an exceptional restaurant and dinning experience. Pros: Great service Meg and Kate were all smiles and friendly vibes. They took care of us and ensured we were taken care of. Unique cocktails We tried the heavenly hibiscus martini, not so old fashioned, and "The Meg". We were blown away with the flavors. They created a version of the long island ice tea that used Curacao, lemoncello, and sprite. It was fantastic, I'll remember this in future Fantastic food: The chef really delivered exceptional food from the bread board to the candied pear salad to the Italian pansotti and to the huli huli tuna. Every single thing was thoughtfully designed and craftfully prepared. My girlfriend and I were constantly blown away with the flavors. There were many similar moments as the following were we thought "wow I normally don't like tomatoes but this is fantastic." Even the sides like the coconut rice and the roasted vegetables were skillfully executed and could stand on there own. Ambiance: Romantic, relaxing, and enjoyable. The combination of table candles, window LEDs, and the music left us relaxed and put into a great mood. We came earlier before it got busy and enjoyed the conversation with Meg and Kate. Cons: There wasn't room for dessert with all the great food. Simply put, this was a 10/10 experience and we will be back whenever we travel to cocoa beach. Well done to Meg and Kate and chef at Luna. Walked around all of Cocoa for hours & walked out of most of the restaurants. Found this lil gem & had 1 of the best dinners of my life! Cheers to the BADA$$ waitstaff & The CHEF!

Chaotic is all I can say. Nothing was relaxed about our server Kate except for not paying attention to taking our silverware and bringing our food, walking away and never noticing we couldnt eat without a fork or knife. We dare not ask to refill our waters as that would be too much to ask. The other server was too busy talking to get a big tip to notice the service was slacking. Is there no manager? They need experienced staff and it’s always a different person when we go in. Very odd

This was quite possibly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered the expresso martini, the pear and candied bacon salad, the braised beef ravioli with browned butter sage sauce, the veal chop, and the pot de creme. Everything and everyone was fantastic. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! We will be back!!

We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was perfect. Definitely a nice intimate dining experience right on the beach.

Our family picked this restaurant for our daughter's bIrthday celebration dinner. The staff at Luna truly made an effort to put heart into the service and into all interactions. They became a special part of the night, too. There’s soul in this place. There’s love and care put into the food, too. Everything we ordered was delicious. Attention to detail, on point. Thank you, Chef! We will certainly be returning.

After a few years we were hoping to return to Fat Kahuna's and were disappointed that it had closed down. After researching I found that Luna's had moved in the old spot. We tried it out on a trip to Cocoa for my wife's birthday. I have to say, though I am sad Kahuna's is gone, Luna's did not disappoint and have done an amazing job carrying on the torch. The food here was excellent. Being such a tiny venue, the chef is able to put love into each dish that leaves the kitchen. We both had gotten specials. Mine was the pan seared grouper which was amazing. The wife got the pasta with cream sauce and lobster which she loved. We also had the pot du creme for dessert and it was unique and also delicious. I would highly recommend this miniature sized gem of a restaurant.

Idk where to start. This place was amazing. Starting with the staff Megan, Anna and kate, thank you so much for an amazing experience on our vacation. So good we went back the next night. Chef Luca is a straight up badass . Everything was perfect and we really appreciated your talent. You should have a line around the corner, it would be worth the wait. Thank you so much.

Really amazing place. Food is amazingly delicious in a quiet and intimate setting. 7-8 tables, couple outdoor tables and some bar seating, very intimate, but warm atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and food is just great. The crab tacos were amazing, the gopher was well cooked and moist. The shrimp and sauces were some of the best. Quantity is small, but delicious. Deserts were good as well! Must visit when in Coco Beach.
