New place, nice enough, good vibe

My wife got the meat sweats real bad. She had the birria tacos and immediately starting gushing out her pores. So lucky they had the most refreshing mountain beer to help reduce the ridiculous amount of meat sweats that she was dumping all over the picnic tables out front. I should clarify that meat sweats are a very, very good thing where i come from. There were a lot of dogs too. 5 out of 5

Come in for a craft brew and a slice of local life, but DO NOT pass go or collect $200 without an order of the buffalo chicken wings!!!!!! OMG, I'd eat em every day if I could - huge mutant wings served whole with a buttery, tangy sauce to die for!

We are here from Michigan and decided to stop after the Sasquatch outpost. The food was amazing, beers were very tasty and the staff was super friendly.

Originally I forgot to say why this is a 5 ⭐ establishment. The staff is no short of amazing. The Brewer/ owner is top notch and goes out of his way to meet his customers wants in a small town brewery. The brews are so plentiful and unique from the selection of IPA's, darks and even sours. The names might even give you a laugh. The food is pretty well thought out as well. Gotta go get you some of them bacon wrapped dates! Smoked meats and all. Great atmosphere, great food and awesome staff. Definitely a have to stop by on your way through Bailey if you haven't already.

The drinks are all amazing, and the chicken tacos are out of this world delicious. With some of the nicest staff I've ever met, this is Definitely the place to go

The beer is unacceptably bad. Clean the lines, re-pitch the yeast. The main product here is beer, for 8-12 dollars, and its undrinkable.

The owner is an awesome person and this place is an incredible little brewery that serves some great beer. Its incredibly nice to have a brewery up here that is as nice as craft mountain is. Delicious beer and a great atmosphere.

Awesome little brewery!!!! I've been a regular here since 2020. I loved it when it was Mad Jack's, and I love the changes the new owner has made. Definitely worth stopping by if you are ever in Bailey.

Decent beer and good atmosphere. Love supporting local businesses. However, a designated smoking area would be really helpful. We left promptly because there were 3 other people smoking next to us. Be advised the kitchen is closed on Tuesday.

Best brewery in all of Colorado. World class brews and amazing views. Support a great local, small brewery, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I added a trip to Bailey, CO to go to the Sasquatch Outpost and looked for a nearby Brewery. Craft Mountain Brewing was walking distance away! We had a wonderful visit at Craft Mountain Brewery, the staff, owner and head brewer were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable. We had great beer and new to tap seltzer (which was delicious!). Their light eats were perfect. This was a great stop and will be a memorable stop on our Colorado road trip.

Definitely worth a stop! We hung out at the bar for a combined 4-6 hours over our two visits during our trip. Tasty beers, and good people to strike up a conversation with, both locals and staff. Angie and Tyler are great, really everyone there. The kitchen wasn't open either time we were there, but there were water issues in Bailey. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in town.

Stopped by at 6:30 on Saturday, June 8, and it was closed unfortunately, despite the hours saying it should be open.

Unfortunately, we did not get to experience because while their hours on their website and Google said they were open (and signage outside the brewery leading us in), they were not. We made a 30 min round trip drive to try them, so enormously disappointed. Please update your media if you are not open.

My fiancé (now husband!) and I traveled to Colorado to get married. We stopped in at this brewery a couple of times during our visit. The beer was great, but more than that, the friendly staff and regulars made us feel immediately at home. Tyler and Angie clearly know a lot about beer but also the general area, and things to do and see, and they were just generally fun to chat with. We didn’t have a chance to try the food, but everyone was raving about it. Guess we will have to come back! Don’t miss this spot, highly recommend.

First time trying this place. We set out from COS on a nice drive, and wanted to stop here. I'm so glad we did!!! This is a great little place. Really needs more signs though! They could easily grab road traffic. They're dog friendly, and offer water bowls and treats. Nice outdoor seating as well. The beer is awesome! Had the Black Bear Porter and Big Joe Mango Habanero Blonde. Both were great, but Big Joe had such a great little kick!! BRING YOUR GROWLER for to go. The food is also killer!! GET THE BACON WRAPPED DATES!!! One of the best things I've ever eaten. We also got chicken tacos, which were delicious as well. I really want everyone reading this to stop by.

Casey and Angela were amazing tonight! They helped my mother in law choose the best drink for her as she is gluten intolerant. We really appreciated them taking the time to listen to us and we really appreciated the great service! We will be back again soon!! As always, we had a great experience! But EXTRA amazing tonight!

New owner, same great place. Newly remodled interior and pergolas added outside. New beers and local liquor, too. Outdoor activities, wide open space. Friday karaoke. Local bands and an awesome community. Quite a decent selection on draft. Dog friendly location tucked away in the mountains. Live, love local.

This place is awesome! Delicious beers, sunny outside tables and a great snack menu.

After a long cold 1st snow Winter hike, greeted by warm personalities, stick to ribs food, and excellent brewery choices. They even played some mellower music for us senior hiking women from the city. ✌️

Friendly staff in a fun little joint. Adults enjoyed the beer and the kids enjoyed the games. All in all a great time!

Down to earth spot. Great people and staff. When we went there were more craft beers from other places as opposed to Mad Jacks beer. Time before when I came, it was all their beer. Still a great spot and their beers are DELICIOUS

I absolutely adore this place, perfect outdoor space. Tons of fun games, karaoke on Friday night and great beer. I personally love the IPA. Always such an amazing place!!

Very hiker and dog friendly. Small (food) menu, but good food and beer. Came through off the Colorado Trail and a spent an afternoon hanging out at the picnic benches.

What a great brewery find! Great beer choices, food options, friendly service and local vibe. There was live music and patio seating when we went (Saturday in July). The food was far better than I would expect from a brewery and quite delicious and fresh. The outdoor seating is great - some covered, some shaded by trees. There were crafts out on the tables when we went, and there is Cornhole and giant connect 4 in the front. Will definitely return

I left my version of a purse at the brewery while we visited during a hailstorm and they moved mountains to get it back to me. I cannot thank the owner and her staff enough. We look forward to coming back for more brewskis when we are in town.

I'm in a hiking group and we are in this area often, always looking for great after spots. Unfortunately, we've tried twice and won't be back to Mad Jack's. We all love so much about this place -- but the live music was so loud we couldn’t talk. Ruined what would otherwise have been a great afternoon. For such a small outdoor space with people so close to the musicians, speakers seem like overkill. Aside from that, love the setting, the beer. Good sandwiches too.

We love this brewery! The guys working we’re super cool and hard working. The jalapeño cheddar brat with sauerkraut and mustard is amazing - the bun is so freaking soft! The next day I had sausage flatbread – absolutely delicious! Excellent sausage! I had the Colorado-made white wine and it was really nice. My husband and our friend both enjoyed several different beers. They ordered the beer brat with sauerkraut and mustard, and a big soft pretzel. They were super impressed with everything, so much so they patronized the brewery three days straight! I really appreciate and respect the big Ukrainian flag hanging outside too! This is a quality brewery run by really cool people!

Great food and drinks. Even better service. Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way back to the city and so happy we did. The corned beef Reuben was fantastic. Jeff and Jeremy were working and they really made the experience top notch. It was great to get to connect with them and learn more about the brewery and the area. Highly recommend this place you can tell they genuinely care about your experience, we will be back.

This place is always fun! They always have fun events, live music, cool people, and great staff. We really like coming here. They always are the life of the party for any Bailey event. Plus the beer is awesome and they have good quality hoodies/ t-shirts!

What a cool spot! We are from out of state and love supporting local breweries, so this place was a nice treat. We had the Hansell Honey and the Naughty List; both very good especially the honey one. We had bar fair food and it was great and just what we were craving. All the staff (looks like just 2 folks so hard working duo for sure) were nice and welcoming.

Great service, beer, and food! Also, lots of board games for entertainment for the kids!

Very nice little brewery on 285. They have beer flights which we love in order to taste multiple varieties of beer. They offer a small menu but the food was good. Live music and family friendly. We had our 4 year old who had fun playing with their table top games and she was even offered a popsicle from the owner. Then we found their large connect 4 outside for our daughter to play with. We will be back. We love finding little gems like this when we are on the road and Love when they are family friendly. Highly recommend!

The service was terrible. We weren't even acknowledged when we walked in and the person behind the bar was too occupied with 3 men who took 20 minutes to even decide what they wanted. The bathroom was dirty. If you don't like sour or sweet beers this place isn't for you.

Mad Jack’s is a great stop while adventuring in the mountains. If you are venturing to or from Denver. They have a good selection of beers and also serve food.

Love this place, amazing atmosphere. Staff is always incredibly nice and take care of you. Added some additional items for food and they hit the spot . Must go place on Sat and sun , usually have live music or a game on.

Awesome customer service and the guy was SUPER helpful. We lucked into this town during vacation. Tried a cider, hard soda, and got an IPA to bring home. All super delicious. Awesome atmosphere and dog friendly. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

More of a snack bar menu, beer was ok. Great looking spot!! Live music !! If they had servers to attend you this would be awesome. Not a bbq or steak spot, needs some organization skills as a business owner to a business owner. Will try again
