As someone visiting from out of town and having read the positive reviews, I was excited to grab a quick bite before a wedding. Unfortunately, this was not the case. At first, I walked up to the wide open take out counter and was told I'd be better off going inside from the woman inside. There were around 6-8 people in line, I wait my turn and as I get to the front the same lady tells me if I want drinks I should go to the other bar. I tell her I am looking for food and she tells me it is going to be awhile without even hearing my order. A very strange and rude experience. I went down the street to the other deli and they had no problem serving me. Maybe keep it to golfers only if you don't want outside traffic?

Stopped in for a sandwich and got a whole lot more. Literally the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Felt like family. The food was fantastic. Normally I'm not big on soup. But both the sandwich and soup (butternut squash, carrot) were fantastic. Would recomend Melinda's to anyone. We will be back next time we're in town.

Best soup and service you could ever ask for!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Madeline's Deli during our trip to Jackson, and it quickly became our favorite lunch spot. The Tikka Masala Soup was a delightful burst of flavors, and the #1 Turkey Sandwich was simply divine. The service was impeccable, and the staff made our experience truly enjoyable. What stood out the most was the high quality and fantastic taste of the food. Every bite was a culinary delight, showcasing the chef's skill and commitment to excellence. Additionally, the availability to try a local soda added a unique touch to our meal, offering a taste of the region that we can't find back home in Florida. Madeline's Deli not only provided us with a satisfying and delicious lunch but also created a memorable experience that we'll cherish. Five stars without a doubt – we can't wait to visit again!

What a cute and cozy spot! The sandwiches and soups were absolutely delicious. If you are undecided, the offer flights of soups which are perfect to split. Highly recommend! There isn't a bad option. Staff is also so sweet and welcoming. Will visit again!:)

Being Vegetarian, I found perfect sandwiches here , all veggies were marinated in avocado sause. It was run and own by two locals , they have their own recipes. I definitely recommend this tavern style deli in Jackson city near mount Washington area.

This was an awesome find as we were driving around one day. The ladies were super friendly, nice little patio, inside looked welcoming too. We had the pulled pork special and it was delicious!!

It is a luxury to ski into a cozy cafe for a delicious cup of hot soup at midday. We are so glad the chef is back and Medeline's is again open and offering a high quality, made from scratch lunch menu. This day she served chili and three interesting soups, one vegetarian - as well as sandwiches and a greens and grain bowl. Our chicken Tikka Masala soup with a (fabulous) baguette, Black Angus chili, and turkey club were exceptional.

This is the home of SOUP nirvana!!! Couldn't decide between the African Peanut, Chicken Tika, or the ckassic Chicken Noodle...so had all three with a soup flight! All were utterly delicious. 😋

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere!

Even with the pandemic, this place still serves their food with no restrictions except for take-out, which worked perfect for us. Madelines Deli food we ordered was absolutely amazing!! The service was great as well.
