My boyfriend brought me one of your donuts because I had been craving a good, cakey donut for days. He brought me a plain one with vanilla frosting and sprinkles, and it was potentially the best donut I’ve ever had. I don’t know if I have ever left a google review in my life, but your donuts literally compelled me to do so. Keep up the great work it was awesome.

Had the pleasure of walking in here today at 5 pm and getting the niner! I have never been here before but it was absolutely amazing! The service was spectacular and I would absolutely come back again. The doughnuts they were light and fluffy and didn't have that normal heaviness you find. Also they were super affordable!!! Best donuts I've ever had. Run, don't walk on these. Can't recommend enough to everyone I know in the area! The "More Than A Feelin'" with Bavarian cream was my fav. The staff was accommodating with boxing them up and labeling them for me.

I must say, I love this place! Now for the back story: I grew up across the street from a bakery, a really great bakery. If you didn't get there by 10 am, you didn't get any donuts. So when I read about this place and realized that they only make one kind of donuts, I was skeptical, as any true bakery snob would be. I love donuts, all kinds of donuts.... that being said, plain donuts are my least favorite next to jelly donuts. But my wife and Granddaughter prevailed, and we went to Mama Buntz. I am man enough to admit when I am wrong. I was definitely wrong about Mama Buntz's Donut Company. Yes, it's only one kind of donut and it is what are typically called "plain donuts." But having eaten 5 of them to date, they are the most delicious "plain donuts" I've ever eaten. I can't even call them plain. Simply put, Mama is an artist with these donuts. She and her associate decorate each donut to order. So what you get is a donut right off the heat, cool enough to be iced without the toppings melting. Each donut has a unique name and a flavor to match the name. I ate a French Toast donut, which tasted just like French Toast. I went twice in two weeks and am planning to go back again. Check out the pictures. They are each a work of art almost to good looking to eat....but you will eat it, they smell too good to not eat them. Thank you to Mama for allowing me to take pictures. BTW, the coffee is great, too.

I'm a sucker for a cake donut, and my first time order from Mama Buntz blew me away. The toppings are creative and delicious but that base donut is simply *chef's kiss*. Will absolutely be back!

Lots of fun options whether you want a more standard donut like apple cider/powdered or a more adventurous flavor like creme brûlée or smores. My favorite was the apple cider and was impressed at how light and fluffy it was, definitely the best cider donut I've had. Sometimes the more adventurous options can distract from how great the base donut actually is, but most people will be happy with the cool toppings. There’s something for everyone

I went to Mama Buntz for the first time this morning with my daughter, to try out these awesome looking donuts. They did not disappoint! They handmade the donuts, to order. They took extra care because of our peanut allergy, and these donuts are the bomb. So fresh and delicious. The designs are just so cute and fun, but they tasted even better than they looked! We will be back soon!

Donuts seemed fresh and moist. Not being avid Dunkin fans we decided to try Buntz's. We were immediately disappointed by lack of filled pastries. Just plain old hole donuts. We tried a birthday cake and Boston cream. It was a nice 80 degree day. When I opened the box a short while later and took a bite, the icing of my birthday cake hopped off at the first bite. I managed to catch it resulting in a handful of icing. Meanwhile, my friend picked up her Boston creme , leaving some drippings in the box. As she went for the first bite, the Boston cream and chocolate fell straight through the hole onto her dress. That's why I like to go for the f i l l e d Donuts At $1.99 per donut it was kind of an all-around bad experience.

Wow! Me and my family went to order donuts for a birthday party for the youngest birthday party in a few weeks. We all had a donut, and let me tell you it was the best damn donut we’ve all ever had. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always so delicious but today I went in and tried a new flavor “strawberry fields forever” and wow they’ve outdone themselves. The best flavor yet! The owner is also always so friendly.

I used mama buntz for dessert at my wedding and every step of the way, they were AMAZING. The owner is incredibly sweet. They helped make our special day stress free. They packaged everything and delivered it to the venue for us. Our guests loved the donuts. Will definitely be back anytime we have an event.

First visit was six weeks ago looking for a quick breakfast visiting my aunt in the hospital… I’ve been there four times since and have not been disappointed. I’ve taken my son and my best friend and they both fell In love with these doughnuts…. Just wish I lived closer than 350 miles away so that I could enjoy them more often!

Holy donut!! My husband’s favorite place.. he absolutely loves the Elvis donut, and the Oreo donut, my oldest daughter loves the s’more donut, and my youngest daughter just loves them all!! Hands down best homemade donuts ever!! Next time I’ll take a pic… they just don’t last long in my house by the time I remember to take a picture they’re gone!!!

All I can say is OMG!!!! My son told me about this place because I LOVE cake donuts and not many places have them or for that matter good tasting ones. BUT this place is AMAZING!!!! All fresh, home made and topped to order. They are soooo good, the BEST I have ever had. What a variety to choose from...over 45 different toppings and they all are scrumptious. You can call in your order and its ready when you get there. Also the 2 ladies who were there when I picked up were super friendly, courteous, and kind. This is definately my new spot...customer for life!!!!

As others have noted, a gem in South NJ. Lovely owner, wonderful and creative donuts, and also served is tea and coffee (hot tea was welcome riding there to get donuts on a cold morning).

My husband and I are new to the area and were looking for a doughnut shop that wasn’t Dunkin. My husband just came home with some doughnuts from this establishment... They are absolutely DELICIOUS!! I went in with skepticism because we haven’t had the beer or luck with finding new establishments in the area. This place EXCEEDED my expectations and I can’t wait wait to try another one of their delicious doughnuts.

If I could give 1,000 stars to this business, I would! Found this gem totally by accident while driving and hit a U-turn just to see what they had. We walked in to the nicest woman greeting us! The donut case was FULL of exotic flavors with the cutest presentations. After originally planning on only buying 3, another customer easily persuaded us to get "The Niner" deal (totally recommend) and while thinking over our choices I look up and see her making the donuts BY HAND...TO ORDER...🤯 I was already saying "are you kidding!?" before even trying the donuts themselves... Now after having tried them, all I can say is... WOW! If you're ever in the area, stop by here. You won't be disappointed!!😛🍩

Wow! So this is what fresh donuts taste like! I was first amazed by the vast selection of donuts available to choose from- so many unique options! The woman who served us, the owner I presume, was friendly and kind. I was blown away by the fact that she makes these donuts fresh. My sons and I were able to watch her dip the donuts into the icing and toppings. Then the actual donuts themselves, oh my goodness. So light and airy, yet satisfying! Phenomenal taste and flavors. And very affordable!! It’s a 20 minute drive that I’ll gladly make again while happily passing multiple Dunkin’s on the way.

Called to order donuts and donut holes. Lady literally commented with a very sarcastic tone “this isn’t Dunkin’ Donuts we don’t sell that here”. Very odd and quite frankly rude statement. I had nothing nice to say so I hung up. Many donut shops all over sell donut holes so not sure why my question was so absurd to this lady to garner that response. If she would have just said they didn’t sell them I would have understood but just an odd and rude response.

I walked in expecting to get a dozen. I had a plan in my head and I was shocked when I saw the selection and how delicious everything looked. First time Ive ever walked into a donut shop for a dozen and came out with nineteen..... Amazing taste and they sure fill you up too!! Everyone there was so friendly it really added to the experience as well. This is now the only place Ill be getting my donuts from.

Bring Your Kids, Bring Your Wife, These Donuts Are GREAT! Let me first start by saying how refreshing it was not to eat another donut from Dunkin. Instead, there is a better place to buy donuts. Tucked away in a small strip mall in Sewell, New Jersey, Mama Buntz's Donut Shop is a must-visit. With prices that reflect a pre-pandemic culture, Tammy Buntz is an artist serving artisan donuts. As soon as you walk into the shop, her mastery is known. Behind a wall of glass were more than 30 unique variations of hand-dipped donuts from which to choose. Note, the selection changes every month. And, beyond the cash register was a workstation akin to an artist workbench. Surviving for more than 4-years in that location, she remains one of the last shops for artisan donuts in South Jersey. When I arrived, roughly around 4 PM, she stood like a sentinel, tending to uncooked donuts, overtop a vat of hot oil. A mechanical arm dropped perfect donut rings into it, and I watched as a conveyor belt removed them from the oil. I felt like a kid in a candy store, but not candy, donuts. Yummy, custom, hot, and fresh donuts waited for me to make a choice. I got a Niner, a box of nine donuts, and made friendly conversation while I waited for my order. Like a true artist, she talks through her process, educating the customer while she works. The whole experience is quaint and worthy of sharing with your children. While I waited, she gifted me with a fresh donut dipped in sugar and cinnamon. She calls the creation the Sand donut. To me, it tasted like a tribute to the Jersey Shore, a fried confection full of boardwalk nostalgia.

I've been CRAVING to try this place and decided to finally take the 20 minute drive. The location is easy enough to find, but you're reading this review like WHO CARES JUST SHOW ME THE DONUTS. But I just need to say how friendly the staff were and that nothing is better than being greeted with a good morning! Okay okay! I ordered 6 donuts, PB overload, apple cider, x2 blueberry hill, dirty deed, and smores. AMAZING PRICES. So I posted a picture when I got home and clearly a donut was missing... you see what had happened was... I ate it. THEY'RE DELICIOUS! From now on; "I don't want none, unless you got Buntz, hun!" Sorry, I'll see myself out.

Oh man, what can I say?? The donuts here are killer and worth every penny. So many choices and hard to decide, but getting a variety makes it worthwhile. I cannot explain just how awesome this place is for the donuts and the service.

Outstanding! I am in love with the couch potato. Just the right amount of sweet and salty. The Samoa are better than any girl scout cookie can ever be. DaBomb omg so good. Just got home and tried these donuts for the first time! DELICIOUS!!!! Krispy Kreme who???? My whole family agrees we have found a new favorite donut spot. Even my dog is in love!! Okay go here! I was craving a donut and remembered driving by this shop. They have a large selection of classic and fun donuts that they can make fresh and I ordered the glaze, chocolate and samoa donuts and they handed them to me in a box WARM! Like what!!! It was so amazing I took a bite before getting to the car. I never rave about donuts but I love love theirs.

In fact, I had an easier time finding it by accident online than in person. For those that don't read maps well, it's near PJ Whelihans. Opposite end from the Post Office. Anyway, they serve one type of donut (cake) and top them to order. Thinking maybe, 15 variations. Went once because I gave that sort of thing up for health reasons. But if you don't give a hang...go often or at least until you've tried them all or get sick of donuts. As if!

This place has some of the nicest employees I've ever met in my life. They are extremely friendly and very helpful. That is on top of the quality donuts. If you love freshly-made donuts and are in the area, stopping here is must.

I was looking for somewhere that made fresh donuts and when I walked in the front door, there they were, MAKING the donuts!! AND decorating them. They had samples of decorated donuts to choose from and they made them on the spot! My Mom likes lemon and coconut and they made it...lemon glaze covered with coconut. They said it was called "Southern Charm" or something similar and"French Apple Pie" too!... WARM!!!! You've GOT to come here and try these delightful, delicious & fresh donuts!! The people who cook the doughnuts are really nice. The doughnuts are really fluffy and they are cooked fresh. The amount of choices can be overwhelming but you cannot go wrong random.

The best! I stopped by this morning for the first time to buy a niner and got a variety, all amazing. The place is spotless and the staff couldn't be kinder. Their coffee creamers are refrigerated and they have a super convenient bag of donuts at the counter for $3 (also delicious). The decor is adorable, I'm so happy to find a great, local, gourmet donut place!

Do yourself a favor, and make the trip out to get some fantastic donuts. I didn't have the opportunity to make a trip there in person to see the process or facility, but the donuts spoke for themselves. I had trouble stopping at 2, and was very happy with my "breakfast" that morning. I've been to hundreds of pastry shoppes, and these are top quality. 9 donuts for $11 is completely justifiable with the focus on quality and flavor (I personally think they should be MORE expensive). To the staff and owner, the only advice I have for you is this: don't stop what you're doing, because you've nailed it! I can't wait to come and see the shop when I'm in New Jersey next. P.S - I would also add that if you utilize Instagram, the shop has an Instagram page that is updated throughout the week!

Amazing assortment of unique donuts, from regular glazed to cereal topped to chocolate pretzel creations. MADE TO ORDER. You will wait for the batter to be dropped into the frying oil, plucked by the woman who seemed to own the place, and adorned with all the trappings of each donut you order. $1.50 each, I think $11 for 8 donuts. They are very warm and delicious when you get them. Staff was really friendly and conscientious of food allergies. In the parking lot next to Jefferson Washington Township Hospital.
