We love Mama Hen House! The food is so good and high quality, and there's really something for everyone. We also like that they rotate a couple of the sides in the Bento Boxes to mix it up. Great service (for pickup and delivery) and the family who runs it is so warm.

I got the KFC box and it was great! Good food, atmosphere and reasonable price.

Mom and pOp are so nice and the food was incredible! I wish i tried this sooner . 10/10 Would recommend ❤️

server was great. food tasted great. a few things that could make this place my go-to for chicken: 1) chicken wings were a bit on the small side, but otherwise tasted great. i had the you-can’t-handle spiciness and id say it was a bit spicier than korean fire noodles. 2) tteokbokki also tasted great and homemade, but a bit too homemade for my taste. i kinda wanted like a rich, thick sauce that would have me make me consider my caloric intake. it is similar to a mom’s great home cooking after coming home from elementary school. not what i was craving from a restaurant. looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and wing flavors. this place is family owned, so please treat the staff and establishment with respect!

the KFC combo number 1 is the perfect deal to share with your bestie; it includes super crunchy fries, 4 dumplings, rice, coleslaw, pickled radish, a drink and the star of the show: the Honey Bee Glaze chicken!! we also got the yuzu & ginger cider - soooo refreshing✨ looking forward to coming back for more and more and more - thanks for the perfect picnic date🙇🏻‍♀️💞

I forgot what it was like to have fresh Kimbop, made to order brought me back to my childhood when grandma used to make me Kimbop when I came home from school. I can’t wait to try EVERYTHING else in the place!!!!

We came here on a whim to try someplace new and man oh man were we in for a surprise! We were politely greeted & seated upon entry and given ample time to browse the menu while the owner patiently answered any questions we had. We started with the Vegetable Fried Rice and Soy Garlic Fried Shrimp, the flavors quickly knocked it out of the park and we got excited for the main course! Next were Korean Fried Wings (Soy Garlic and Mid), Truffle Fries (not overly saturated truffle flavor which was fantastic) Kimchi, Pickled Radish and some Dino Nuggies (generic but cooked perfectly) for our youngest. Everything served is top notch and has that familiar homemade taste. The atmosphere is spotlessly clean and cozy, a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal! Overall 10/10 experience, we will go out of our way to come back and enjoy more!

Great experience at this location. Food is delicious, has that real flavor. Not too much salt but enough. Definitely a regular customer now.

My daughter found this place online and suggested we go. She wanted to try the banana milk. So glad we went. I ordered the chicken wings with soy garlic sauce. They were delicious. I also tried the rice cakes yummy and the sweet spicy shrimp. They did not disappoint. Delicious. Will definitely go back. Oh, we also got the banana milk. Lol

I’ve been wanting to stop by every time I go to church and I finally decided to eat here with my family. I ordered the tteokbokki and chicken(sweet and spicy/korean curry). The order came swiftly and it was delicious!

We decided to try this place out for a late lunch and it did not disappoint! We got the bulgogi kimbap, royal rice cakes, and fried chicken. Highly recommend.

Have been looking for GREAT wings for awhile now. A new “go-to” spot for wings. Sweet/spicy (mid) wings These are the best wings iv personally had. The glaze/sauce 5/5 The crispiness 5/5 The chicken 5/5 Presentation 5/5 Overall I was very happy with their wings. Will be telling friends,friends, and ordering again myself.

The food is so fresh, everything is scrumptious! Dinners at this restaurant have become a regular treat for our family, enhanced by interesting conversations with the lovely lady who works there. Tonight our youngest son chose this restaurant to celebrate his 12th birthday.

I’ve been a regular since last year and Mama Hen House NEVER disappoints 💯🤤❤️‍🔥 I’m a big time foodie!! and as a Korean girl who LOVES Korean food, I can be very strict and picky with Korean food. But I can confidently say that Mama Hen House is BY FAR THE BEST Korean Bunsik restaurant in New Jersey — Bunsik means Korean snack/street food.❤️ If you want some authentic Korean Bunsik food, this restaurant is the place to go!! Everything on their menu is super yummy😋 The attached photos are some of my favorites & go-to’s from Mama Hen House: Chicken Katsu sandwich, Spam&Cheese Kimbap, Spicy Tuna Kimbap, Spicy Rice Cake w/ Mozzarella Cheese, Soy Garlic & Honeybee Glaze Chicken Their Spicy Pork Bento, Bulgogi Bento, Coleslaw are absolutely DELICIOUS (I don’t have photos because phone didn’t eat first LOL😅 but that’s when you know 😮‍💨 food TOO good I forgot to take pics 😋🤤).

Such a hidden gem! It was the most delicious kimbap I’ve ever tasted! Must try their bulgogi gimpab! We ordered sweet and spicy chicken was great too! With their food and service this place has to be full of people all the time!

The food was amazing! My boyfriend and I ordered a bunch of different things and each one was great! The sweet and spicy wings were the stand out tho. The people that work there are also extremely nice. Can’t wait to come back!

We drove past today and saw that this had recently opened. We parked next door in the free community parking lot and walked over. The place is super cozie, the staff was wonderful and the food was amazing! We got boneless wings and gimbap and they were both wonderful.

We ordered 4 items.We went to pick up on time but it wasn’t ready. No one explained why it takes long. No one called us. My husband waited there for 30mins. We already paid using online order. I called and asked what happened. A daughter of the owner said that it’s lots of orders and they only do small portions. Are you kidding? 4 items are a lot???? Then you should not take online orders. And ask for a tip ahead???? We will never ever visit this place again. Very unpleasant experience. Also very poor customer service!

Absolutely fantastic! This place serves the most incredible fried chicken I've ever tasted. Finally, a spot in nj where the seasoning is just right. Discovered it on Monday and have already revisited. The fried chicken with garlic soy sauce was a perfect 10/10. The shrimp kimbap was also delicious. Crispy fries and the rice cakes left us impressed. Even the coleslaw was surprisingly tasty. Highly recommend!

Will definitely be back, tue place was clean, service was great(very friendly and the food was on point. Had the honeybee and sweet and sour glaze and loved the both. Can't wait to go back and try something else 👍🏾

Got takeout large fried chicken, I met who I think was the owner and she was extremely nice! We got the spiciest chicken (it is quite spicy) and the honeybee glaze and it was extremely delicious. The glaze sauces were very flavorful and completely coated each piece. I wouldn't want them to be any different. Would go again for more.

i LOVE this place. the people that run this establishment are angels, they make the food with love. i absolutely would give this 100 stars if I could. I always feel like I am at home when I go.

I drove from Syracuse NY to see a show at the Debonair Music Hall and walked passed this gem while exploring the area. The woman working was warm and welcoming. She started us with some Barley tea. The food came out in a decent amount of time and looked beautifully prepared. Everything was delicious. She finished our meal with what I'm assuming were homemade stroopwafels. Just a delightful eatery with Studio Ghibli films playing on the TV. While we were drinking, a group of folks walked in to sing the restaurant some Christmas carols. It was a very nice experience all around. So grateful we came across this establishment on your visit. I hope to be back to visit soon!

The food is absolutely delish!! Bulgogi bento box was so tasty and full of flavor!! The purple rice was great!! The Magnolia Banana pudding is delicious!! Jenny was so wonderful and explained everything so well! Highly recommend!!

Mom and Pop shop with awesome food. Had to write this right after my first few bites because of how spectacular the food was. The Katsu sando, tteokbokki, kimbap and wings are highly recommended. I would also like to add that the pricing for the amount of food you get is incredible. I can only really say that even though the wings were crisp to perfection the Soy Garlic flavor could use some tweaking. Other than that, I am quite happy that i chose to dine at Mama Hen house this evening. I will definitely be coming back, Thank you again!

Their various kimbaps are great but the true star of my meal was the tteokbokki. The tteokbokki is FIREEEE in both taste and spice 👌🏼👌🏼100% recommend you give them a try

Fresh ingredients, healthy, exceptional service, and authentic taste! Something for everyone on the menu. The ratio of ingredients to rice in the kimbap was golden. Very excited to have a great bunsik option (Korean street food) outside of Pal Park and Fort Lee. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and am excited to go back to try their chicken and tteokbokki 🙂

I had a great time dining at this place. The food was impeccable and the service was amazing. I love that the restaurant is mom and popped owned. They made us feel welcomed and their daughter was very hospitable. The prices of the food were affordable and servings were a decent size. We are definitely going to be locals at this restaurant.

The food is authentic. Their tteoboki is like how my mom used to make. Their fried chicken is very fresh and crispy. I had the banana pudding for dessert and it's the best dessert I had in awhile. Tasted like a blend between banana and whipped cream with some crushed vanilla wafers.

I’m sooo happy and excited that there is finally a local kimbab shop in the area! I used to frequent Queens a lot and I wasn’t able to find a casual Korean spot until now. Food is always great and Jenny and her parents are always the best. There are also new things coming on the menu from time to time so it is definitely something to check out!

Finally fairly priced Korean food. Handmade by family members too. Has kimbap, fries, and fried chicken and a bento. All great and quick.

The fried chicken was great! I’m a vegetarian but I had it anyways because it looked so good! The iniri was fantastic, really special with corn chiles and scallions inside. Cant wait to come back

Came here by accident because we were visiting from out of state to a friend's house. Completely blown away by the service and the quality of the food. Everything was so taste and the owner is super friendly and accommodating! 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Top notch food. Dine-in service is great, fast, and they use normal plates to avoid the waste of disposable. Truffle fries are outstanding, Cole slaw fresh and tasty, but the array of kimbap choices is the real winner. We had the Odang, egg burdock, squid, bulgogi, and Cali rolls. Something for everybody from omnivores to vegans. Satisfying.

My mother and I were attracted to this newly opened restaurant after seeing their luring posters of Korean specialty sauced fried chicken and gim bop aka Korean variation of Futomaki. I have nostalgia eating Korean fried chicken and mom made gim bop during birthdays and festive time invitations as a child. The restaurant felt like a welcoming yet peaceful place my mother and I could stop by to treat ourselves. We ordered what ended up being about five different dishes. My favorite was their honey bee glaze wings. The oil was really fresh along with the wings, and the sauce was a nice roasty nougat like base with a hint of sweetness, salt, and seasonings. My second favorite was the shrimp tempura gim bop. Again, the oil and shrimp was really fresh. The tempura was nice and crispy. It seemed to have been deep fried when we were being served. The rice was the correct balance in terms of its moisture content; not to mushy nor dried out. The teriyaki sauce that was glazed over the tempura was complimenting and appropriate. Many restaurants these days cut corners trying to overuse oil, and food just leaves a bitter after taste. This place seemed to use fresh, home made, tasty ingredients for a reasonable price. As a relatively short person, I ended up finishing 2.5 dishes because the food was so enjoyable. I will be visiting again to dine in.

Seriously amazing! I ordered the chicken donkatsu aka chicken bento box and their spicy fried chicken my goodness both are so good. They make fried chicken better than other Korean fried chicken joints, and I’ve been to them all.
