I have fallen in love with this place! Amazing authentic food, and very knowledgeable! The owner is amazing! We had an appetizer sampler that was incredible, with a Cuban, & mojitos …. Just perfect😍 caramel sea salt cake was out of this world good!! Do your thing Mambo Grill!

Outstanding lunch! Empanadas to start and then the Hemingway Chicken with rice& black beans plus plantains. Our waitress was amazing and took great care of us. It's a bit of a drive but WE WILL BE BACK.

So very, very, very, very, very delicious. I think I left out a few verys.

Dish I had was OK but definitely did not include all the ingredients listed on the menu. Portions a bit small for the price. Like most restaurants today was rather loud.

We had a wonderful lunch. Food was right on target. Small Piccadillo w rice was excellent. Sweet plantains were so good. Little disappointed that they did not acknowledge my 77 bday. Maybe they don't do that. Well we were stuffed. I noticed someone having Flan. Darn it was not on menu i don't think. I would have adjusted my lunch to save room. My Mama was Cuban. Wish she had been there. Miss her. Suggestion: 1. add a handle on left side of door stepping out on to sidewalk. Would help this 77 yr old. 2. Run the light covers in ladies bathroom thru dishwasher. Very dusty and dirty.

Everything was great from the food to the customer service. The food was delicious and it made my cuban wife happy to know theres a place she can eat at. Would definitely recommend!

Not sure why the restaurant is always as cold as hospital operating room. Haven't eaten here in more than a year and found meal disappointed as before. Over stretched service staff makes you feel greatful for any attention. Don't understand why Salisbury restaurants are blah, sub-par across the board. Will have to head back out of town for next foodie experience.

Cocktails are pricey but otherwise excellent!

Reasonable portion sizes and very favorable. Most definitely will return to try other dishes and would highly recommend.

This restaurant is one of the reasons I moved to Salisbury. Fantastic mojitos, friendly staff, delicious authentic food. Make a reservation and be prepared to be dazzled.

What a gem! Stopped in for food before the symphony and exceeded expectations. Awesome beer selection and I got the Tropical Sampler and had to get a box to bring the goodness I couldn’t finish home. Definitely recommend!

Extremely good service, Cuban music was light at the right volume. Clean! Nice array of options on the menu. My Pollo Milanese (sp?) was very tender with no hot (like real spicy) stuff in it. (I can't handle pepper hot food.) Thank you, Mambos, for my 1st experience with Cuban food!

The food was very good. The Cuban sandwiches are excellent. The interior was very nicely decorated also had enough parking.

Loved the artistry from ceiling down to the floor... so pleasant! Group of 6 of us had a wonderful time(also they don't automatically penalize guests with a 3% surcharge for using your check card instead of cash!!)

The food was very good, authentic Cuban food. The prices are high compared to what I'm used to in Miami, but honestly it was all worth it.

I would’ve given the service 5 stars but they were short staffed. Jack the bartender had to wear many hats. The waitress Shayna was awesome!

My son and I had dinner and loved everything we ate. It was too much food, but we wanted to try a lot, so we shared the tropical sampler, garlic shrimp, olives, fried potatoes, beans and rice, and flan. He hadn't eaten Cuban food before and was very impressed. The atmosphere and decor is really special. They also have a great choice of beer on tap, wine, and cocktails.

This is the real deal. Everything on this menu is delicious! Yes, I have tried every single item because it’s that good. It’s family run & a fixture in Salisbury. You won’t taste Cuban food like this anywhere else because it does have a Spanish influence, like from Spain. The food is fresh & full of flavor! I’m not sure why people think Cuban food is Mexican. No chips & salsa here. There are great Mexican restaurants in Salisbury but this is Cuban. A reservation is a good idea just because the weekend is busy.

Food is delicious. The staff is super friendly and d very accommodating. One of my favorite things is the great selection of beers they have . The desserts are excellent

Was told there was a 30min wait and the bar was empty asked if we could sit at the bar but couldn’t because someone in our party was under 21 and it’s an nc law that they can’t. I’ve looked and don’t see where it’s a law 🤷‍♂️ worked in a restaurant with a bar for over 2 years and never had an issue with this

I cannot recommend this place enough! If there were a rating above 4 stars Mambos definitely deserves it! Everything was outstanding. From the drinks, to the food, to the Cuban Espresso, things just continued to amaze us. When, not IF (because you HAVE to go), you go ask for Shana as your server. Not only was she friendly and attentive, but she took the time to really help us understand the menu and made sure we were comfortable with our dining choices!

The Hemingway chicken is the best!!! Love all the food here, you can't go wrong!

The place is really good. The only thing I didn’t know was that you need to make reservations because if not you cannot eat there without reservations. Other than that is very good food and good atmosphere.

The food we’ve gotten from here has really good taste and quality. It’s funny though when I first started ordering the picadillo at first the container would be filled to the top and now it’s about halfway filled now 💀 I would get the regular picadillo plate but it’s cheaper to get a kids and it’s the same amount of food too lol am I gonna stop coming here? Probably not the food is too good 😌

This was my first time here, but I met a friend who loves it and has been many times. The waiter was very helpful when I shared it was my first visit. Atmosphere is awesome. Parking was easy to find. Food was great!

This place was so cute and wonderful atmosphere. Came here today with family, my parents had came here a couple times and loved it. It was mine and my husband’s first time and we loved it!! The place was very vibey, food was delicious!! We tried the sampler for appetizer (recommend!). I got the ropa vieja and my husband got the Pollo Milanesa. We both enjoyed everything! Service was also wonderful, our waters were kept full and waiter was very attentive. The place was also decorated with beautiful art! I would recommend this place to others and hope to be back soon!

The place is bright, clean and well decorated offering a very pleasant dining experience. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. Portions are a good size and well presented. The server was very personable and on point. Will most certainly visit again. If you want great cuban food then this is the place to get it.

This is a rare gem of a restaurant! Family owned, family recipes, cooked with love in honor of love and family! You can taste the difference. Beautifully decorated, recalling old world Havana! Small staff means call ahead for a reservation. Bring an appetite because the portions are generous! We will be back!

Mambo Grill has what it takes to be a top notch bar and restaurant. The food and drinks were on point. The bartender barely spoke to us - the lighting was a little to bright for a dinner service. It has an upstairs seating area that was closed. The manager was amazing though. She had a lot of information about the drinks and beers on tap. Will be back! Ohhh don’t forget to try their mojito - FANTASTIC!!!!!

The food was okay. The waiter was good. The atmosphere was ruined by the staff (4) seating in the bar talking very loudly. After we were done with our meal, the plates were never picked up from the table. When we left, the staff was too busy having a good time that we just walked out. Don't think I will be back.

Legit homestyle Cuban/Caribbean cuisine with a creative flair. Absolutely delicious. The decor is made up to look like a genuine hole-in-the-wall old world restaurant - a little kitschy, but charming. Went on a Sunday afternoon. Seated quickly. Service was excellent. You owe it to yourself to go here. Highly recommended

Hidden Gem! Plantain Temptation is soooo delicious! O and the Elderflower Martini was nice to look at and just as nice to the taste buds.

Best empanadas I've had since I left Florida. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Same for the Mojito. Friendly staff and lively atmosphere. The decor is masterful. Felt like I was back in the Caribbean.

The group beef empanadas were dripping in so much oil had to trash them, made me nauseous and got extreme heartburn. Everything else i tried is great

Their Vaca Frita is mouth wateringly delicious! Their plantains and rice and beans were also tasty and cooked to perfection. I have visited previously and had other menu items and all are a flavor sensation. When we went at lunch, only the bartender was available as the server, but fortunately there were not many people there, so service was good.

This place is a local staple. We come here often. The food is delicious and service is great.

We dined at 9pm, they close at 10 - sorry y'all but after 5+ hours in a car, we wanted good food instead of fast food and you definitely did that. Service was great. The establishment is excellently decorated and clean. The food is perfect. We got 4 different dishes and all four were delicious. I absolutely hate that I live so far away. I may never be back but it's definitely not because I don't want to.
