Super impressed with the food here: flavorful lamb riblets with caper chimichurri, tender brisket with creamed corn were standouts. Friendly staff and great decor. Will have to come back again for the seasonal menu changes, especially since they have an enclosed bar area now (converted from patio)

Stopped by for brunch on the way to the airport. The phyllo of the manitaropita was delightfully crispy and the mushroom filling was flavorful and satiating. Also appreciated that the seasonal mimosa contained plenty of champagne

Recommended from coworkers. Pretty good call. Small plates mostly on the menu and they were perfect. We started with the saganaki (grilled cheese) and were not disappointed. It was very tasty and served piping hot. I got the halibut and wife got the brisket. Both came out quickly and were very good. For dessert we got the cinnamon ice cream with the amaretto peach. Better than expected. Rich and creamy ice cream without any pesky crystals. We will go back for sure. Sorry about the lack of pictures. We were distracted by the good food. The loss of a star on the atmosphere was because of the shades in the windows where we sat. Had to eat with sunglasses on to cut down on the glare.

We were in town to celebrate our anniversary, and thought Manoli's would be a cool and different vibe from what we normally have around us. Great, prompt service and kind staff. Parking was easy and the menu has a great variety of dishes. We just struggled with the food. The flavors were nice (not nice to the point of meriting the cost, but tasty), but we both struggled because it was all extremely salty, to the point where my tongue burned in the moment and was still sensitive the next day. My partner typically loves her salt, but also struggled to finish everything. We've been to many types of restaurants, but I just did not enjoy the food in this case. Maybe we missed something? A little disappointed to write such a review when we were so excited to celebrate.

My partner and I are visiting from out of town, and are always on the look out for great tapas. When we saw Manoli's menu, we knew we had to go, and we're so glad we did. We got the eggplant, tyropita, octopus, lamb short ribs, and the Greek salad. Everything was so yummy, and flavorful. We sat at the chefs table, and it was fun to see them prepare the dishes and seeing how the kitchen operates. As someone who's in the restaurant industry, it's fun to see how other spaces operate and gives you a closer connection to the food since you see it being prepared in front of you. Our server was super nice, and had great recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I wish I lived here so I could eat here more often.

I don’t trust anyone who says “everything is good”on a restaurant menu. But in this case I promise that rings true! There is something on this menu for everyone. If you love seafood get the octopus, the branzino and the shrimp garides. (The coffee bbq sauce on the shrimp dish will blow your mind!) If you want to carb up get the psomi bread and orzo pasta If you need some solid protein get the lamb burger, the meatballs, and the chicken wings. Vegetarian: get the stuffed peppers, salad and the puffed pastry. Feelin a little on the lighter side: I love to get the Roka salad with shrimp and the psomi bread. Moving onto brunch: The breakfast sandwich has the most amazing red pepper sauce on it! We always split a stack of mizithra pancakes, and a must is the vegetarian polenta cake. (I always add two eggs with it.) Let’s talk about the restaurant itself. Beautiful interiors, great location, and easy parking. And Manoli (the owner) as a human: Solid guy and one hell of a host and chef. Take note that the same staff has been on board for many years. Lots of happy familiar faces holding the fort down. That speaks volumes for how the restaurant operates and how the staff is treated. On a personal note: I feel grateful to live near by and frequent this restaurant often. I love sitting at the chefs counter on a chill week night, date night, catching up with friends and being the loudest one in the room. I’ve celebrated many birthdays and mile stones here and even wrote my wedding vows here on a quiet night on the patio. Clearly I’m a huge fan! 💚

I feel like the food was almost there but not quite. They undercooked the scallops once and when we got another serving it was served exactly the same. Those scallops need a sear on the outside and they didn't have them at all. The octopus was nice but a tad overcooked. The lamb was well cooked but needed better seasoning. Lots of dishes which were almost great but nothing quite hit the mark.

Our recent brunch visit to Manoli’s in Salt Lake City was a delightful experience. The laid-back ambiance created a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The food was decent, with the lamb burger standing out as particularly good. However, the chips were a bit stale. Despite that minor hiccup, the overall experience was great. We look forward to returning for dinner to try their small plates, which come highly recommended.

Went here on a Sunday for dinner and not many were in the restaurant. We had good service and the waitress gave nice details about the menu as needed. Quite clean and bright, though seemed a little sterile without much ambiance. Food was good though portion wise a bit light for my preference. $12 glasses of wine seemed a bit extreme, although Greek in origin.

Alexis is amazing. If not for the food, come to support a restaurant that knows how to hire people who are knowledgeable about their food and ingredients. Also, I’m a totally random stranger, didn’t meet him until he served us. Food: We had the Greek toast, the mani, and loukaniko. Food is delicious. Service: see above. Nothing more needs to be said. But! Everyone is super spot on. Our cups never ran empty (of water or drip coffee). Our finished plates were never occupying the table. They were as unobtrusive as possible but still facilitated questions and engagement. At this point it’s been over a week since we’ve visited but clearly still worth talking about.

Manoli’s feels like a place that was made for people who enjoy the price of things rather than the quality. What this restaurant lacks is taste. Which is odd because the designer had great taste when creating this place. Cocktails were good, food was okay, but I couldn’t get over the fact that it all felt like another prettier Market Street Grill.

Manoli's is hands down my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the valley, and for good reason. We recently celebrated a birthday party there, and as always, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service at Manoli's is consistently friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is welcoming and unintimidating, making it a perfect spot for casual diners while still offering a sophisticated dining experience. Manoli's offers a menu that delights from start to finish. The charred octopus is a standout dish and the best I’ve had in the valley—and I’ve tried a lot! The Yemista, smokey goat cheese filled peppers with volcanic sea salt, is a the best way to kick off a meal at Manoli's and a dish I argue should be mandatory for anyone visiting, even if you don’t like peppers. The lamb, which I usually find too rich, is perfectly cooked and falls right off the bone. Paired with an incredible chimichurri, it’s a dish not to be missed. The scallops are tender, and the accompanying yellow split pea puree is so delicious I could eat it on it’s own (and I faked an allergic reaction to peas when I was a kid to avoid them.) The branzino is another highlight, featuring perfectly crisp skin, tender meat, and just the right amount of lemon to enhance the flavors of the fish and potatoes. Just be sure to use your fork to remove the meat so you can avoid the bones (as is the case with branzinos everywhere). Don’t skip the soft serve dessert; it’s one of our favorites and a delightful way to end the meal. The collard greens brought me back to my roots in the South. Despite the high caliber of cuisine, the prices at Manoli's are more reasonable than most. Their wine list is also commendable, offering a good selection to complement any meal. Manoli's is nothing short of incredible. I’m always surprised it’s not packed 24/7, given the outstanding food and service. I’ve never had a bad experience here, making it our go-to spot for date nights and special occasions. If you haven’t been to Manoli's yet, you’re missing out on one of the valley's best dining experiences.

The only reason for 2 stars is the waitress taking care of us. We bought 3 appetizers, chicken wings, cheese and scallops and honestly all 3 could've been done better at home. For main we got the fish, well.. it wasn't bad, just tasted like an average everyday fish, the potatoes with it were burned and whatever the greens were supposed to be were inedible. For the price of 50 dollars for fish that was mediocre at best and 150 dollars in total for not even being full it was not a worth it experience. Wont be coming back fs

We went to Manoli’s to celebrate our anniversary and we stated on the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. No acknowledgement of that though from the restaurant. I wonder why they ask if they aren’t actually going to try to make it a little special with at least a “happy anniversary” from your server. When I made the reservation you had a choice of being in the dining room or counter. We chose dining room but we were sat on a side enclosed patio area next to the bar (counter) which seemed to be a forgotten area completely separate from the dining room and had 0 ambiance. Service is very very slow. We were there 45 min and only had received 2 of the 5 dishes we ordered. It was 1 small plate dish at a time with long waits in between. There was also very little interaction beyond taking our order with our server unless we beckoned her over. The food was good and nicely presented and prepared. I really enjoyed the Branzino. But was the food good enough for us to come back? Maybe, if someone else we were dining with wanted to go. There are quite a few restaurants in SLC that have the same vibe and quality of food with a better flow of service and attentiveness. I really feel we should have gone somewhere else to celebrate our special day.

I think the dishes shrank from the last time I went there in 2022. The lamb chops are worth trying, but you need to order half of the menu to feel like you had a decent meze dinner. An advice: the salad should be the first thing served on the table, or at least on of the first. It is a bit weird receiving the salad after the lamb chops.

As a suggestion from some friends, and with a recent trip to Greece, my wife insisted we try Manoli's The service was very good, our host was kind and helpful. Our waiter helped understand the menu, we had a few things; the Spanakotyropita which between my wife and I we enjoyed but, probably not as much as the Paidakia. The lamb was very tender and flavorful, the waiter suggested it and did not disappoint. I would recommend it as well. For our entre we had the Lamb burger and the house special for the night which was an Alaskan Halibut. The burger was meaty, yet fresh and flavorful, my wife's Halibut did not get shared clearly for how good it was. Over all the portions aren't huge, but the flavor was very good with an excellent atmosphere. 10/10 would go again!

Lamb burger was excellent, atmosphere was good, but the lamb riblets were drenched in an extremely rich and unpalatable ‘chimichurri’ sauce, and the service I received was atrocious and downright disrespectful. My server took my order and then never once came to check on me until after I had finished both of my entrees. Even then she did not ask how the food was, simply asked if I wanted dessert. I asked her if it was the policy here to not check in on guests at all as it seemed very unusual. It is the norm in Europe and since it is a Greek restaurant I asked, she could not give me a straight answer. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the riblets and the service, and she walked away while I was still speaking, bringing me the cheque. No apology, no accountability, no care for my experience as a guest. I felt extremely disrespected and unwelcome due to my server’s attitude and lack of professionalism. In hindsight I should have asked to speak to a manager but I did not wish to spend another second in this establishment. I was also the only person of color in the entire restaurant, not claiming that to be the reason I was mistreated, just stating a fact. This place has potential, but I hope management steps in to set a higher standard for service and respect.

Big fan of Greek food after this dinner! We made a reservation and got right to our table on time, but you should definitely plan to show up a few minutes early just to find parking (which took a couple turns around intersecting streets). Since I am Gluten Free, I always try to look at a menu prior to getting there so I'm not panicing figuring out what I can eat. This was no problem with Manoli's - they have clear GF options and I had been trying to not eat all day just to save my appetite because everything sounded so delish! We had 3 appetizers, the Garides are the picture I actually remembered to take because again...starving and anxious to try everything, the Htenia which was the best scallop I've ever had, and a classic Greek Dolmades - with homemade Greek yogurt that looked like whipped cream. We also got a Branzino as the main, and my first time having it did not disappoint. Highly recommend Manoli's - even though the restaurant was full on this busy Friday night, it felt like we had a private chef cooking everything perfectly and solely for our table.

The meatballs (Keftedes) comes with cinnamon tomato sauce is juicy & yummy. House salad with vinaigrette is so light & refreshing. Oh you must order their artisan piñsa bread (Psomi) as starter while waiting for your mains. The bread is nicely grilled with some burnt parts & comes out piping hot & served with black & green olives & olive oil for dipping. The tables are small & quite tight at the restaurant as the tables get filled up quite quickly on a Friday evening. To avoid disappointment, you may wish to make a reservation.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was a birthday dinner bust. After eating there, I'm actually shocked by the high ratings. The Kotopoulaki was zingy and flavourful and was probably the only real highlight of the meal. It's the only thing that gave me pause over a one star food rating. The Dolmades were good but not really a standout. The entree is where everything went South. My wife and I both ordered Lavraki, and frankly it was insulting. It took nearly an hour for the dish to make it out of the kitchen and the food itself was comical. The branzino might have been the smallest, most expensive filet of fish, per ounce, I've ever paid for. There can't have been more than three ounces of fish per plate. The "pan roasted lemon potatoes" was nothing but one or two fingerling potatoes run through a mandolin slicer and then roasted. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was two small fingerling potatoes at most. Adding further insult and confusion, the micro serving of potatoes on my wife's dish was inconsistently cooked. It boggled our minds how such a small portion of potatoes could have slices that were essentially burnt to a crisp and others that were literally cold to the touch. The remainder of the dish was a heaping pile of braised kale. Although well cooked and seasoned, the portion was so incredibly out of wack with everything else on this dish that it was impossible to make it though even half of it without feeling like I'd just grazed an entire field. "Kale Bloat" (translated to Greek of course) may be a more suitable name for this dish. The dining area is modern and clean, but is open and so densely packed with tables that the noise level is almost hard to bear, especially after being there so long. There's really nothing to absorb the sound. We were seated facing each other and even at only three feet apart, we basically had to yell the entire time. The staff was nice. Our waitress was kind and apologetic for the long wait, but she actually seemed a bit embarrassed by the food as well. Maybe there were kitchen problems or a new chef? Maybe we somehow managed to make all the wrong picks? Whatever the case, we don't intend to return.

Wow! This place was amazing! The food was melt in your mouth fantastic. I’m not a lamb person but the lamb was so good. Came for a friend’s birthday party and did we party?! Love it here. Will be coming back for sure.

One of our absolute favorite spots in SLC. Food is always impeccable and consistent, something I value when I find dishes that I love and come back for. The service is top notch, love the remodel with the new patio area. Can't recommend enough. Don't forget brunch, I'd say Manoli's is probably my first choice for brunch in SLC.

Took my partner here for their birthday, and we really enjoyed the cozy and romantic vibes! Our server was friendly and helpful with picking our drinks/food. We loved the drinks, they were so unique and tasty! Would definitely go again

This is hands down my favorite brunch spot in Salt Lake. Simple menu, excellent ingredients. Always prepared to perfection. Go in on a weekend for brunch and be sure to grab a side of the Greek Toast or Greek Yogurt. I’ve made Manolis a weekend tradition for myself and I look forward to it every week.

The food was fine but not overly impressed with anything. We waited around 50 minutes for our 3 small plates to come out and the scallops were cold in the center.

Decent food, good server, and bathroom was surprisingly nice, but pricing was simply too high, especially for canned beers.

Absolutely incredible food! We had a number of plates: kolokithia, garides, htenia, paidakia, saganaki, and patatoules. Everything was phenomenal and we kept ordering more. Service was great as well, highly recommended!

Wow, wow, wow. The food is incredible. We tried everything from the vegetable meze (butternut squash), seafood meze (octopus), and beef meze (lamb ribs)… and it was all delicious. We also had the lamb burger and it was 10/10. We wanted to eat everything in the menu but were so full. Highly recommend!!

This place is special. Simple as that. This was my first visit to Manoli’s, and I can’t wait to return again soon. The food is spectacular, there was a simplicity in the brunch recipes that worked so well. True cohesion and attention to detail in what they were serving. The service from the wait staff was well above board. Consistently topping off our water and coffee, sharing their favorites, explaining aspects of the food we weren’t familiar with. Manoli, the owner, came by our table to make sure we were enjoying it. I’m a firm believer that food is better when the people behind it are passionate about what they are creating and put true care into their craft. Manoli is the epitome of that. Nothing says care like turning on their ice cream machine just for us and giving the table free sorbet. Manoli is top class across the board. Cannot wait to return to try the fall dinner menu. Cheers.

The food here is very good, but the service and atmosphere here aren't great. The host kindly sat us, and the server saw us fairly quickly, but she knew little about the ingredients in the food and seemed indifferent about our experience at the restaurant. This restaurant could up its game by getting better staff and adding some sound baffles to reduce noise. Despite the delicious food, I probably won't be visiting again any time soon.

We went to this restaurant last night to celebrate our 9th anniversary. The ambiance and the food did not disappoint at all. However, we did leave a bit slighted by the experience given what happened below. Something to be aware of is that this restaurant comes off as "you eat what we serve and how we prepare" (and that's it). At the time when our order was being taken, we communicated that we have an onion sensitivity (probably should have just said allergy to get the point across) and want to be sure none of the dishes had onions (cooked and especially not raw). We were assured that the lamb burger dish did not have onions and when it arrived, the fennel slaw definitely had it - raw. When we mentioned it to our waitress, she offered to have the kitchen remake it so we said "sure" only to have her come back to tell us that the chef refused to make it again without the onion. She clearly seemed uncomfortable telling us and even offered to go back to try to convince the chef but the last thing we wanted was to force a chef to make something he/she did not want to make. The slaw was a topping to the burger so to me, it did not seem to be a hard ask, but as a paying customer and to be refused by the kitchen for something offered as an alternative, that gave us a raised eyebrow moment. Granted, to be fair, we also do not know how the waitress communicated to the chef because I would imagine being told to "remake" something can be perceived as an insult. Either way, that was our experience last night. While the food was again absolutely delicious, I think given the experience we had, we would consider going elsewhere in the future. Having great food at a restaurant is one thing but to have it paired with quality service elevates the experience. For the reason above, regrettably, I have to give them 3 stars.

Had a delicious meal here, everything coming out of the kitchen was near perfection, perfect balance on all the dishes. The crab, the piquillo peppers, the scallops were highlights, but we loved everything we ordered.

6/5! This is why we review restaurants... to find gems like Manoli's... my date and I ate our hearts out and walked out with a couple of big smiles on our faces. Highly recommend everything on the menu. Enjoy!

Place was nice, it had a good vibe, staff was nice too. The food was good, we tried 4 different things, all were good. However, in my opinion it is overpriced. 4 small appetizer style plates were around $100 in total, and it was not that much food in total.

We did expensive take out and did not find the food was very Greek. Granted we are spoiled by our amazing Greek places in the Bay Area but this was not authentic. The chicken was average, the rice dish just ok, the octopus was mushy and the potatoes were spiced strangely and completely undercooked. Do not recommend this place.

Sweet arugula salad with goat cheese was really tasty. The eggs Benedict with avocado was a delicious surprise. It was easy to tell the egg was farm fresh from the deep gold of the yolk. All of the happy patrons chatting made it very noisy.

I’m so thrilled Manoli’s is open again after flooding! Such tasty sauces and fresh ingredients. I love this place. It’s unique as a Greek restaurant. My favorite dish is the smoky cheese stuffed red peppers. So much better than it sounds.

Was excited about dinner at Manoli's on opening night - opened after reconstruction from a flood. Manoli and staff didn't miss a beat. The new server, Joann, knew the wine selection well and directed us to a perfect choice. Each food course was timed perfectly. Our food was delicious as ever with fresh complex tastes that kept rolling with each bite. Manoli's is back and better than ever!
