Amazing cocktails! Great place to grab a drink. Would love to come back and try their food as it all sounds and looks delicious. Super friendly staff who gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our stay in NOLA. Thank you!

Great Cocktails, nice dimmed lighting (good for dates), but the 20% surcharge came as a surprise (we were just 2 people). Aside from showing the prices without tax, this missing transparency really annoys me in the States. Apart from that we had a great time.

Came here as we were hungry and every other restaurant was closed (it was between lunch and dinner). I typed in places that were open right now and this one came up. It has good reviews - but there's no way we would have stumbled upon it on our own. It's near a popular area but not directly on. I'm super happy we tried it out! At first I was a bit disappointed because the menu seemed a bit small but both dishes were delicious and did not disappoint. The restaurant is quaint and charming. Definitely worth a stop!

Manolitos is a fun vibrant atmosphere, great service, BUT the food is just very bad, there is no concept of what Cuban/Latin food is about very creative for Manolitos but there is no way on how someone can mess up a Cuban Midnight sandwiche..Yes that bad I want to be nice because the the management is very good people. But again there is something imo they have no idea about Cuban food .. There is 2 items in the menu real good the Arepa and the fried Plantains. Very hard to mess up those 2.. but is just a big disappointment.

I love the atmosphere, I assure you as a Cuban that you will not find anything more Cuban than this. The food, the drinks, the decoration, everything 10. My favorites are the croquettes and the daiquiri. The staff is super attentive and friendly.

It was very exciting to visit a place inspired by the memory of my father “Manolito” and as a son I am very grateful to the owners for such a beautiful gesture. On the other hand, comment that the atmosphere is relaxed and perfect to come as a couple or with friends. The menu offers a wide variety of options and all the ones we tried were delicious. I especially highlight the croquettes and the ceviche, and obviously the traditional Daiquiri for drinks. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making our visit a very pleasant experience. Without a doubt, one of the best places in the city of New Orleans.

Well, I actually expected more from the menu. I got my hopes up thinking I was going to eat Cuban food but .... I think it's more of a bar than a restaurant, don't go with children or young people because there's nothing they'll like.

I’m Cuban so I was expecting real Cuban food. If you’re looking for Cuban food this is not it at all. The food was ok for American food. The Cuban sandwich didn’t have much flavor and no cheese or seemed that way. What makes a Cuban sandwich is a well cooked pork and Swiss cheese. The croquetas weren’t bad but Cuban do not make croquetas with cheese. Black beans was served with colored rice. Cubans beans should be served with white rice and it was kind of cold. Also they should have fans on the outside seating. It was so hot.

I would only recommend this place for the creative drink menu. The food is overpriced and awful. Ordered the ropa vieja ($30+) and the shredded pork was dry and had an overwhelming taste of vinegar. The rice and beans were dry. Also ordered the burger - dry and tasteless.

If you want authentic cuban, this isn't it. They put some type of bitters in the mojito that just ruins the drink. If you get a mojito get it without the unecessary bitters. The food was just ok.

Been meaning to write this review for a while. Was just daydreaming about Manolito and rememvered to write this. Visited in January and had an absolutely incredible time. This was kind of the crowning jewel of our trip to New Orleans. A lot of lackluster experiences down there but Manolito truly was a masterpiece. Small bar, historical atmosphere, very traditional cocktails (haven’t seen thrown cocktails in a while), incredible food, and a great bartender. Best bar experience we had while in town. Will definitely make it a point to stop back by. Hope they get the expansion the bartender was describing to us. P.s. - We have had MANY croquettes in our time and the ones here were among the best we’ve ever had.

I really like the food and the service is good. The Cuban sandwiches are my favorite but I hear that all of the food is equally good. Even though I live less than three blocks away, I rarely get to eat here. The business hours just don’t work for me. I normally start thinking about lunch between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Unfortunately for me, Manolito’s opens at 4:00 PM. I’m sure that works fine for most of their clients, they always seen busy.

Impeccable and expansive cocktail menu. So many incredible options made with all the freshest ingredients. Tiny restaurant- seats maybe 21 people- but so much charm and character. Black bean hummus was good but the Tajin crackers stole the show. I had the pollo con arroz which was good but not great. The Cuban sandwich was ok.

The crispy chickpeas are addictive! Highly recommend splitting the Cuban sandwich or another entree and sampling the appetizers and sides. Maduros (plantain) were tender and had a great spicy kick. Cocktails were delicious and generous.

Being a huge fan of the neighborhood known as Bywater I was excited to try the cocktail named after the now famous neighborhood. Not disappointed at all! Glad I came to Manolito early in the afternoon because I was able to have a few daiquiris after my Bywater and then waddled off to dinner at Dahla.

We came in originally for drinks only, but ended up staying for dinner - and dessert! They have an extensive cocktail selection, all super tasty. Their plates had a very strong Caribbean flair to them, I had the picadillo and it tasted like someone's grandma made it, absolutely delicious. Do try their flan, with the perfect balance of creamy and sweet, scrumptious. Friendly staff too.

Our visit (2) was 19 April 2023 during a business trip and my co-worker wanted to try something unique or different in a dish & we did not want a whole lot of food. So we found this little charming place which had nice ratings. It did not disappoint either. I had the Black Bean Soup served with tajin-baked crackers & co-worker had Cheese Arepa stuff & topped with veggies. It was a nice end to a day. We chose to eat upstairs, it was a little chilly outside to us and the location is small but had nice seating upstairs. We got to enjoy the upstairs all to ourselves. Our food was very good. If back in this area and looking for a off the beat path with for some bites, and a nice drink, then definitely would stop back through.
