My wife and I heard many wonderful things about Maple & Ash and so we celebrated our Anniversary here. All the things we heard are true. Besides the absolutely delicious meal and drinks we had ; Arturo Cortes made our visit absolutely wonderful. As a non wine drinker I wanted to try one with my steak, Arturo was very knowledgeable & recommended me a wine I absolutely enjoyed with my meal. He was knowledgeable, kind, courteous and explained the menu, he knows his craft well. He was also bilingual which is great because Spanish banter is totally different and made our visit more enjoyable. Outstanding service! We can’t wait to dine again.

Incredible service, love the dim lighting atmosphere, and the food was nothing less than perfection as always. We had the Spanish Octopus, scallops, oysters, whipped and buttered potatoes, and Brussel sprouts. For drinks we had French 75’s and champagne.

Husband and I were visiting Chicago and this place was on his must eat list. We made reservations 3 weeks out for a Sunday evening and are so glad we did. The food was excellent. The service was on point. Our server Michelle was top tier. It was truly a fantastic experience. Sauce for the steak was done tableside. Souffle was poured and presented tableside as well. Welcome cocktail and chips w/ caviar was a wonderful touch. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

My review from last year is below. We visited Maple & Ash Monday and it was not nearly as good. Atmosphere seemed more about being seen and posting online than having great food and service. Steak not cooked properly, cold fries, cold sauces, long expanses without our waiter checking in, area we sat in was very dark and loud so it was hard to read the menu or have a conversation. Still good just not great so 4 stars 2024. 2023 - 5 stars What a lovely evening. I don't know why we haven't gone here before but it is now our favorite for steak in Chicago. The dining room was stunning with high ceilings and windows, and beautiful views. We were seated immediately even though we arrived 20 minutes early and greeted with a complimentary cocktail and bite. What a nice touch. Service was probably the best we've ever had anywhere. Appetizers, meatballs and steak tartar. Yum. Surf and Turf, Bone-in Filet, Steal Frites, all so good. Sides, Fries, asparagus, mac and cheese all so good too. I don't have one negative thing to say.

I was so disappointed with my Maple and Ash experience. Visiting Chicago it's the place where everyone says you HAVE to check out. It started out good - complimentary drinks, food order taken promptly and went downhill very fast. Beautiful restaurant, great set up, we came in without a reservation and no issues getting a table and being sat immediately. We received our caviar appetizer and seafood tower promptly. Then our table was forgotten about for over an hour in a half after I made eye contact with our server he ensured us our main brunch course food was en route. Another 20 minutes rolls by still no food(Bacon, Eggs, French Toast, Potatoes, Steak) we get manager and food makes its way up. The steak(We were never asked for our desired temp), eggs, and potatoes came to us cold. Now I will say the French toast was amazing and the maple glazed bacon was also very good. We get the "Sunday Service" dessert tower to finish our brunch(It was not on the brunch menu we were told it comes with what we ordered - great. I love caramel and see there is a liquid caramel substance down at the bottom I pour it on my ice cream and immediately you can smell its peanut butter(I am allergic). We then see another table a few tables over from another table getting a presentation of this same tower and all the toppings which could have easily saved me from all of this. We watched 4 surrounding tables come and go. We were in the restaurant for brunch from 12:30-3:22pm.

$100 for a half a piece of lobster that was over cooked (burned as shown in picture below) that was extremely chewy and it looked like someone already ate the lobster when it came out on the plate. The picture shown below is how the lobster came out on the plate I didn’t even take one bite yet. Not only was it too chewy and over cooked but there was literally only maybe 2 bites of the lobster inside. I came here for my birthday dinner and had higher expectations, I usually complain and send food like this straight back to the kitchen but I was too hungry to complain. The steak was the only thing good about the surf and turf meal it was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were also good but you only get a small scoop of the potato’s in a little tiny bowl it looks like a kids meal. I wish I could say better things about this place but i definitely won’t be back. Atmosphere is very loud and noisy and the servers weren’t as attentive as I’d hoped either. Over priced, small portions, burned and over cooked food is not quite the luxury experience I was hoping for.

First of all lol. But if you are looking for something slightly close to NYC this is it. Just remember, it’s slightly close. It’s still pretty midwestern with people showing up with tshirts and hats , like a slightly lower class upper east side. Anyway, go for the ambiance if you can’t afford a flight to nyc, or just go somewhere else that is more Chicago your choice good luck.

Maple has always been one of the best places to eat, drink and celebrate in the city. If it’s your birthday, anniversary, graduation, retirement, divorce, or just want to plain treat yourself, this is the dining experience for exactly that! Dirk took care of my mother as if she was his own. But every manager, security, chef, captain, bartender and support staff that we interacted with made sure our night went above and beyond. Absolutely get the: -Waygu beef carpaccio -seafood tower (with pasta) -Waygu flight -sweet corn (when in season) -Au Gratin or mashed potatoes -coconut cream pie Thanks for helping make another great Maple memory 🍁

Have been here many times with positive experiences, and decided to bring some visiting family to celebrate this weekend; unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing to a point where I’m not sure that I’d ever give it another chance. Service was awful from start to finish - extremely unfriendly server that rushed us to order, didn’t check on us a single time, and didn’t even give us a chance to order a second round of drinks. Food was mostly fine, but half the clams in the Seafood tower didn’t even have meat. This city has no shortage of unbelievable steakhouses that never compromise on food or service. If you are spending this much on a meal you shouldn’t have to wonder if you’re going to get a poor experience like this.

On Fri. 8/9 six of us had dinner at Maple & Ash. Everything was great with the exception of the rude behavior of our server, an older gentleman named Mike/Michael. His abrupt and condescending demeanor put quite a damper on our birthday celebration. Questions about the menu and beverages seemed to irritate him and he acted as if he was too busy to provide even a minimum of decent service. Our hotel recommended this restaurant and on our return from dinner we informed them of the disappointment we experienced. Needless to say that the next time we spend nearly $1,000 for dinner it will NOT be at Maple & Ash.

What can I say? I came for my 12th anniversary with my husband. Wow was what I first said the atmosphere was impeccable. You can really feel how fancy this restaurant is. Alex our waitress was patient and excellent in explaining to us the menu and how to order. Also how the entrees came. We got house made chips and dip that was topped with caviar. We also ordered shrimp cocktail and the shrimp was as soft as butter. We also ordered the heirloom salad which was amazing. The virgin drinks were fresh and delicious. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the aged ribeye. Honestly, everything was cooked to perfection. After we got chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream. It was to die for. Definitely a meal to remember with an awesome waitress. Alex made our visit awesome. We will be back

The service was really great. Our sever really made this feel like a personal experience. The atmosphere was very nicely decorated but it was so loud I could hardly hear my partner. The lobster was over cooked, a bit chewy, and had this smoke flavor which I do not like and was not advertised. I was expecting the lobster to taste like herbs and butter. The steak was very good. The mushrooms were also very good, but very very salty so you can’t have too many. The cake was very large but was very good. Not as moist as I was hoping but the icing was good and helped lube it up.

My new favourite steakhouse in Chicago. Excellent service from the moment CJ greeted us, walked us up the elevator and continued taking good care of us the whole night. Our server was Mason. Pretty awesome place to try at least once. Very upscale restaurant (main dining hall) with very aesthetically pleasing seating area. The service was absolutely top notch and efficient. My wife had the grilled octopus app, Halibut and surf and turf entrees. Everything had a little charred outer crust and taste, as expected with wood fired cooking. The Halibut was like butter and super delicious. The surf and turf was very good and cooked perfect. I'm just a little confused why you only get half a lobster for the price. It just seemed a little stingy. For dessert we had the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top. The ice cream was great but the cake tasted old, dry, and bland on it's own. The final surprise was an $8 charge for employee benefits. While I left it alone and just paid it, I found it pretty ludicrous that a restaurant with steak prices ranging up to $400 is placing that burden on the customer. I could understand it at Chili's but here is just shameful. I really think the management should be ashamed of that. Pay your employees and stop expecting customers to. Bill for 2 with 1 drink each, app, 2 entrees, and dessert was over $300 (including tax and tip).

Where to even begin!!! This was the best dinner experience everyone in our group of five has 🔥 EVER 🔥 HAD! 1- The free amazing birthday sign 😍 2- The detailed menu options for all the food allergies I have! THANK YOU 3- The amazing metal straws 4- Accepting our request for the Espresso Martini ☕️ 🍸 tree that’s typically only available during Sunday brunch. But we traveled all the way to Chicago for that dang tree! 🌲 5- To our water waitress queen for keeping our waters full, cuz we drank at least 5 gallons of water while we were there! 6- Marcele- our amazing waiter- he gets a Gold Star for service of the DECADE!!!! His energy was top notch, he was very accommodating, went above and beyond on everything!!!, and the group tequila shots at the end was the cherry on top. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I haven't been this impressed with a dining experience in a long time as I was at Maple & Ash. We ordered the 'IDGAF' item on the menu, which featured a stunning fire-roasted seafood tower, caviar, an exceptional entrée, and dessert. Although we chose to skip the endless champagne, the overall experience was still remarkable. A unique touch was the chefs wearing 'IDGAF' hats, adding a fun element to the evening. The service here is on another level. Superb, Michelin level service. This is a fancy steakhouse but they didn't turn away our 16-month old daughter, which we were surprised by. We didn't know how fancy this place is. But they threw us in a corner and treated us the same as everyone else. Luckily our daughter didn't cause too much of a disturbance. Probably wouldn't recommend taking toddlers here but they have high chairs and welcomed us with a smile. So there's that. The food is unbelievable! Everything is cooked perfect and the flavor is outstanding! I wish we could have come back and tried more items. The cocktails are crazy good! The atmosphere is high class and intimate. Close to a Michelin experience. I still can't believe you all let our 16-month old daughter eat here but she loved it! Thank you for being so accommodating and flexible. As someone who works in a high-end restaurant like Maple and Ash, I know a thing or two. Immediately after walking into the restaurant, the host Leslie was extremely rude. We had a reservation for outdoor patio seating, and so we were walked out to the patio. We were put right next to the server/busser station (where the glasses, plates, and silverware get put), and it wasn’t a comfortable spot of us. So we POLITELY asked to be sat in the SEVEN other open tables that were on the patio. I know very well that can 100% be possible. But instead, Leslie rudely stated “Nope that’s another servers section” and walked away!! First of all, you accommodate to your guests, and second of all that is not information you tell your guests. If this happened at my restaurant, she would be fired.

Fun night, but you really cannot curate your own experience here, you can't do a tasting menu alone, wine list might be "one of the best" according to wine spectator but the sommelier shut me down almost immediately when I asked for skin contact or pet nat wines. Didn't offer an alternative for what I was eating, my dining companion didn't want to order more wine because she found him rude. For the price, there are so many far superior dining experiences in Chicago.

At my birthday dinner at Maple and Ash, my expectations were not just unmet but blatantly disregarded. Despite enjoying our meal, the evening took a turn when our request to take home leftovers was mishandled, resulting in us leaving without them. Ms. Lindsay, the manager, promised a complimentary lunch as restitution—a promise that now rings hollow. My subsequent emails to arrange this have been met with silence, showcasing a troubling lack of commitment to genuine customer service. This failure to follow through has tarnished my overall experience, revealing a significant gap in the restaurant's customer care practices. Maple and Ash must address and rectify these shortcomings immediately.

I have spent so much money here over the years it’s shameful but NEVER again. Even after they messed up our family Thanksgiving dinner ( we literally had nothing to eat because they ran out of food for the order we paid for over a month in advance) we still patronized Maple and Ash. We stopped in today to grab drinks from the bar before a concert and the security guard ( fat, bald, albino guy) told us we could not go up because my boyfriend had on sandals and it was against dress code. Okay fine I have no problem following rules when they are the same for EVERYONE. We eat here at least 5 times a month, no one has EVER said anything about his Birkenstocks, his sneakers, or attire. We have seen several other male restaurant goes in sandals ( even flip flops), inappropriate clothing, and attire that clearly would violate their own dress code, No one said anything to them. The security guard asked us did we have a reservation ( as if that was a determining factor for his decision making) We said we were going to the bar he told us to step off the elevator because we violated the dress code. I was a little confused because we didn’t have on anything we had not worn here before. The security said there was a no sandals policy for men and it’s on the website. Fine, this would be ok HOWEVER There was also a group ahead of us that got on the elevator. They clearly violated the rules and were not dressed appropriately. Did he say anything, NO! On the elevator with us there was another couple who violated the dress code and were dressed rather inappropriately, but only we were pulled off the elevator. I did not want to single them out and ruin their night but there was clearly some biases displayed by security. I won’t be back and Maple and Ash will never get another dollar from me.

We dined here this past weekend and for what was supposed to be a wonderful experience, truly fell short. I’ve been to some of the best steakhouses in the country and this may have been my least favorite. The ambience and vibe were decent. However, this place prides themselves on a dress code which needless to say, wasn’t true. Flip flops, ripped jeans, the caliber of people was embarrassing. We were seated 45 minutes past our reserved time so upon being seated, we were ready to dive into the menu. We ordered the ribeye and scallops as a side. The waitress had informed us the chef didn’t like how he initially cooked the scallops so they brought us a side of mashed potatoes to hold us over until the scallops came out. Worst scallops I’ve ever had. Cut in half? Undercooked and salty. We’re from the east coast, so scallops are a very popular dish. These were truly disgusting. The ribeye was on the dryer side as well. Luckily waitress took the scallops off the bill after she silently and awkwardly listened to me complain. We leave the restaurant and pass the bar downstairs. It’s a torrential down pour outside so we decided to have a drink inside while waiting for the rain to pass. You’d think the bar service would cater to those stuck inside. After watching us sit at the bar, the bartender finally comes over and abruptly/ rudely notifies us the bar is closed and they’re not serving anymore. I truly couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that this place had the nerve to tell their patrons they’re done serving drinks while it was POURING OUTSIDE so we sat there twiddling our thumbs looking pathetic after having a terrible meal. Honestly mind blowing to me. We will not be returning to this location.

I loved the freebies that come with the experience. They offer a signature cocktail, on the house, and a mini app to start your dining experience. What we ordered: - Caesar Salad - Salmon - Halibut - Galician Turbot - Potatoes Au Gratin - Mushrooms Most everything was delicious. The sauces really amplified the flavor of each dish. The salmon could have used a sauce or a bit more seasoning. Compared to the other fish dishes it was bland. Birthday add-on: birthday menu (add it to your reservation notes) & red velvet mini cake

My wife and I dined at Maple & Ash for our 19-year wedding anniversary, and we were absolutely in awe! Decor: The atmosphere was modern, sexy, and chic. We enjoyed the lounge music that softly played in the background, and the captivating enlarged and framed photos. There was a hostess and attendant in the bathroom. The wait staff were all professionally dressed. Food: we ordered the wood grilled Spanish octopus, bone-in filet mignon, brussels sprouts, and Yukon gold potatoes au gratin. We felt acknowledged, welcomed, and appreciated as we celebrated our 19-year wedding anniversary at Maple & Ash. Cost: expensive, but worth it. Party of 5 celebrating a Birthday. Dining room is on the 3rd floor via elevator, bar and dining areas packed on a Tuesday night. Dining rooms: Tables are placed close together, at times people and staff passing too close. The space is very dark, club feel, even with contacts had to use a phone flashlight to read the menu. The music and noise level is high so it was very difficult to be part of our tables conversation. Candelabras are placed on tables celebrating, don’t put a glass of wine too close as falling waxcicles could knock it over. Service: Attentive wait staff until the end of the evening, bottle of costly wine was held behind us and I had to mention that I didn’t think we had finished it, at least 1/2 glass left. Perhaps it would be helpful for staff to put the finished bottle on the table, point out it was finished and/or did we want a by the glass finisher… Food: Table gets comp signature cocktail, chips & dip and dinner rolls. We had the $200 medium sized seafood tower, enough for 5 with a lot of clams left over. With salad and asparagus a bit full before the main. Entrees presented well, had the halibut and friend next to me had the salmon, both of us tasted, best described as ammonia by second bite. Another plate was prepared for both of us, again I tasted ammonia but she did not, it could be that I was highly sensitive to whatever I was tasting-returned second entree but enjoyed the morels. Had flavorful chocolate and coconut cream cake for the table The bill: 20% service included. Checking it over I was not comped the halibut but given 2/3 cost credit. We were charged more for the bottle of wine than wine book price. Manager did come to the table to discuss the fish, I understand the concern.

Would have been a nice experience except when you pay $80 for a steak they should cook it right. I mean, as a steakhouse you have one job. Was here for a business dinner and my steak came out medium rather than rare-plus as I had ordered, which is a huge miss in terms of steak. By the time the waitress came back to check on us, everyone else was half done with their food so sending back at this point would have made for an awkward meal. What a shame: dry aged steak ruined. Shared sides were good, but $80 for just a piece of meat on a plate should be cooked perfectly, not two levels overdone.

Loved atmos, service was great, food was surprising disappointing. It’s a steakhouse but their steaks were so bad. I don’t get it! Everything else was exceptional! Their sauces are incredible. Seafood tower amazing, welcome chips and caviar sour cream onion dip was phenomenal. The lamb was sooo good. Ice cream Sunday tower was fun. All good except for All their beef steaks. Shockingly bad. Not worth 100$ I’ve had Costco ribeyes that taste sooooo much better.

Heard a lot of hype about this place and had to check it out for myself. Every cent I spent was worth it! All of the staff were so friendly! The restaurant is beautiful! We loved our complementary drink, that was a lovely surprise :) We ordered bacon, Alaskan king crab eggs benedict, fried chicken and biscuit, and brown butter golden potatoes. Our server (Jaime) helped us narrow down what to order because honestly we wanted the whole menu. He made our experience fun and we could tell he was very knowledgeable about the menu and what accommodations could be made for my allergies. BRB going to work more hours so I can afford to come back soon!

My girlfriend and I of two years are here for our anniversary. The atmosphere was dark and moody, which is normally not my style, but the contrast came in the service. Our server John was theatrical from his introduction to his goodbye. Our meal was filled with intrigue, and we both raved to one another about how much fun we had. The menu is pricey, but we got what we paid for!

Food were not hot and our server didn’t check up on us at all. We can’t even find him after he took our order. Every time my husband and I put down our utensils to have a conversation, someone (not our server) would keep coming up to our table asking if we’re ready to pack our food… What kind of service is this? Are we not allow to take our time to eat and put utensils down to talk?? Very disappointing. We told the person who keeps coming up to our table asking if we’re ready to pack our food that we will let him know when we are ready to leave but it happened again…. There are plenty of restaurants just like Maple and Ash in Chicago. Will never return again.

My family and I went to Maple and Ash last week before a concert. The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. WHAT WE REALLY APPRECIATED THE MOST WAS OUR SERVER ALONDRA. She was so attentive to all of our needs. Since this was my first time visiting I had a lot of questions about the menu. She made great suggestions on food and pairings. She was so attentive to filling our drinks and always made sure we had what we needed. So nice to know that you can still get good service and good food. Thank you so much Alondra and Maple and Ash. We will be back !

I visited Maple and Ash on Saturday at 7:00PM outside on the patio. I am very very disappointed with the service I received. I have been there before when the service was great. But this time we did not have great service. The server did not seem attentive to our needs. We place our order, but when the food came out they forgot to bring our sides. The sides did not come out until we were done with our main entrees. I expect better, especially after we spent so much money. The food was still excellent but the service this time was less than satisfactory.

I was super excited about celebrating my birthday here with my friends. It started well with a customized menu for the special occasion, but it got spotty from there on out. Cocktails were good, but it would have been nice to have been able to enjoy them. Service was overall rushed and slightly pushy. Cocktails and plates were cleared at a rushed paced. We definitely stopped the busyboys from clearing the table because we weren't ready more than twice. I couldn't tell if this was an attempt to inflate the bill or rush us out of there. The food was a hit or miss. Appetizers were so so. Meatballs were salty, steak tartar underwhelming, but the seafood tower was amazing. Entrees... definitely get the Agnolotti (still thinking about these), steaks fell flat. You would think that a steakhouse would get it right, but 2 out of 3 were incorrectly cooked. Sent both back, one came back as is, and the other took forever to be redone. Overall, the experience was just okay. We definitely ended up somewhere else afterward to finish the night properly. I don't know if I would recommend this place for a special occasion. I thought it would be an unforgettable night considering that it's a Chicago institution, but the experience was lacking.

Dined for Father’s Day and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. Particularly the grilled seafood tower, ribeye and Australian wagyu. Welcome cocktail and appetizer were a nice touch. John David, our server was excellent. Timely, attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. He even got the off putting celebratory sign changed for us. And gave my husband a take home cocktail! Nice touch again! We dined here over a year ago and the service overall was subpar. I hesitated to return. This night was just right and made for an enjoyable Father’s Day. Thank you!

What a spectacular restaurant. The ambiance and food were off the charts! The special touches of celebrating our anniversary greetings us with specialized menus and welcome cocktails to the absolutely amazing food beat our expectations which aren't the easiest to beat. If your in Chicago and you want a fantastic steakhouse experience book Maple and Ash!!! We couldn't settle.on what was best but we had: Spanish Octopus, The meatballs, Hamachi Crudo and Waygu Carpaccio to start. The quality of the Hamachi was over the charts, melted in your mouth. The Carpaccio with Alaskan king crab and caviar on top was absolutely heavenly. Spanish Octopus was outstanding. We followed up with a Filet and Bone-in Filet , had to add salt and there butter sauce which turned it to a 10. The quality of beef was definitely a 10. We need with the Ice Cream Sunday Tower, it blew our socks off.

I dinned recently at the patio of this establishment. Honestly the experience was mediocre, their sushi is over priced, looks pretty but not flavorful. The fish they use is not up to quality or have that amazing freshness. Lastly their drinks are not good at all, I asked for an amaretto sour and either the bartender didn’t care or doesn’t know how to make a drink. It was barely a shot of amaretto and lemon juice… ahh that’s not how you make that drink. Horrible, then I ordered whatevershetakes drink off the menus that’s supposed to have great flavors, it didn’t and was pure sour. I’d didn’t want to complain again and kept drinking it. Not worth the experience and wouldn’t recommend it, I’d rather go to Nomin at the Hyatt for great sushi .

We were celebrating my nephew's graduation from Northwestern. I could not make it when his brother graduated two years ago, so this was our first chance to celebrate in person. The graduation ceremonies were wonderful and the family was looking to have a proper celebratory meal. I asked my nephews to pick a restaurant they liked and luckily friends had introduced them to Maple and Ash. Dinner for six was energetic, fun and quite delicious. Service is quite energetic and enthusiastic and the diner is well-informed and served by a primary server and staff teamwork. They started us out with a complimentary cocktail served to the entire table (everyone at our table was over 21) and welcomed the graduate with one of their signature personalized printed menus (I asked that they skip the F-word, grandma would no be amused 😅). We ordered a lot of appetizers, and they were wonderful. Experienced diners (like my nephews) know that there are classic items that may not always be on the menu, but can be served. The bacon is FANTASTIC. We avoided the seafood tower because one of the boys is prone to shellfish allergies. But even he might join the next time (we had four Epi pens, just in case). Main courses varied from scallops, fillet, surf and turf, bone-in strip and ribeye. We all enjoyed our dishes. My sister was slightly disappointed by the lobster in the surf and turf, but her steak was great, as were all the others. Medium rare for most, perfect for me, well-done for my mother and sister and still juicy and tasty. The extra aging on the ribeye was a noticeable enhancement to the taste. The lobster in the mac and cheese was great, the mac and cheese too. Mashed potato was the second side. Plenty for the table. An Oregon Pinot was a good pairing for the variety of dishes. (Their wine list is encyclopedic and very pricey). All the cocktails, wine and food were served fast and at proper temperatures. We finished with the pre-ordered mini red velvet cake and added bananas foster, paired with ice cream (they had me at ice cream). The preparation at the table is quite the show in their dark dining room (the lawyer in me hoped a fire extinguisher was properly on standby nearby, no one got hurt). We had a great meal in a wonderfully loud and fun environment. Not cheap, but quite reasonable price to quality ratio that my family enjoyed and appreciated. I hope we all make it back soon.

Amazing but giving a one star because the Ribeye steak was disappointing. Not good at all and I’m not sure it worth coming here again just to eat steak. Came in town to celebrate our anniversary, made a lunch reservation 11 days prior. Requested their famous personalized anniversary menu. Was excited to surprise my wife but as we finished our lunch the anniversary menu never came out, instead I watched other tables receive theirs and my wife’s disappointed that we did not get the same treatment. After paying we went to the hostess stand and she confirmed we did request it, but just put fault on the server. We requested to still have it printed and the hostess said the manager would bring it down shortly. After waiting 10 minutes the hostess brought the menu with no show of concern or personal apology from the manager. Some times the little things matter … on a brighter note the sushi was very good

The food was a little bland but the presentation was good. We really enjoyed the drinks. The straws had little messages on there, that was cute. We ordered French onion soup, meatballs, mashed potatoes ( it was giving box) chicken was good, and pasta( little to no flavor). Our have to try some more things to determine if this is a place I’d visit again. Otherwise it’ll Jen for drinks and ambience.

Food is good but the service is very slow and not a michellin star level. Our waiter insisted that we over order more food because it wasn’t enough for the table and we ended up boxing two untouched mains and a few sides. And on top of that we found our jackets on the floor in the cloak room. This is a bar not a fine dining Michelin restaurant at all and they should advertise it at that.
