Best sandwich eventhough there is only 1 type of sandwich they sell. Been going out of my way for years when I'm close.

There is something about that sandwhich that just leaves you craving more. Oh! And portion size was huge. I had leftovers for at least 3 days, lol.

So I have been eating at this shop since I was able to have solid foods and hands down I am shocked at how bad this sandwich was today iv sent hundreds of people here and have eaten myself for decades and under no conditions should I have hat lettuce on my sandwich ever I'm hoping who ever or what ever has happened to the quality will bring it back cause even the bread is bad now

Not as good as they used to be . Toasted lettuce and tomatoes , yuck . Seems the meat is a lower grade ??? Not going back .

It's a hole in the wall type of stop. One door, one counter, and one sandwich is all they offer. Ordering takes 5 seconds. You pick whole or half, chips or drinks to add on. They make it fresh, lightly toasted. I got everything on it no onion. It came with jalapenos which I welcomed. The whole was so big I had to save half for the next day. Pulled it out of the refrigerator and it still tasted good.

I love this place. If you are picky or whiny go somewhere else. This is my favorite sandwich shop in the area.

I have been eating these subs since I was a kid, back when Marion ran the place solo. That was the early 70's and they are still my favorite. Was know to drive 50 miles to get one!

AMAZING! They make one sub, and it’s the bomb. If you like spicy food, get extra hot peppers. Super friendly staff, they take call ahead orders, and are always cheerful. If you’re in the area, this place is a must.

Third time - gave it a chance. So many better subs in the area this business model sucks. Ordered today and told to wait outside for 15 minutes. Everything about this place is just ok - nothing special. Sub also is just ok. Won’t be back

Walked in for the first time and wanted a sandwich. Lady behind the counter told me explicitly to go F*** myself because i was on the phone and she would not take my order. Absolutely disgusting customer service. 1000% would not recommend to anyone. There is way better sandwich shops with an actual menu all around. Not worth the time to come here

I accidentally stopped by for a sandwich, it turned out that this place has been open for over 50 years. There's only one sandwich on the menu, but it's amazing. Stop by and you won't regret it

In the past it always been a hit or miss getting a Marian’s sub that I grew up loving but I can finally say the sub has redeemed itself and I’m so glad becaue I missed the original sub. Highly recommend. It’s so good.

Been coming here since I was a kid and nothing has changed. And I mean that as a huge compliment and it makes my heart so happy. Amazing submarine subs. Only one type of sandwich and they've been open for over 50 years?! You know they are doing it right!

One sub sandwich, Italian sub. They could have used better meat. Ham, bologna they call cooked salami, cheese, baked on a roll, lettuce, tomato, onion, bell, slightly spicy pepper, pickels, and light oil & vinegar. It was tasty but not an Italian hoagie. It was priced right, and worth the money, just not what we expected. Take out only, parking was easy.

Uhm, WOW. I was in town visiting my grandparents and wanted to bring them lunch… I called this place and they were great about helping me order since I’d never been there. I can see why they’ve been open for 50 years, their food quality and prices are generous. Plus the signature sandwich is fantastic!! My Papa said it’s the best sandwich he’s had in years, and I completely agree. I hope I’m back in the area soon so I can visit again!

This 1 sub offered is OVER THE TOP DELICIOUS. It consists of Salami,Ham, Provolone cheese Baked in an oven and topped with Lettuce, Onions, Pickles, Tomato, Hot Peppers, Oregano & Oil. $11.50 for a whole or $6.25 for a half. The entire combination is done perfectly. By far, the best Italian Sub I have ever had. Nothing fancy here, very clean facility and friendly staff serving the same sub since 1967.

No frills, but it delivers what it promises, a great sandwich. Whole was $11.50 (I think), and half was like $9.00. Chips and drink were cheap, another $2 or so. Call them 10-15 minutes ahead, and they'll have it ready and waiting for you.

They only make 1 sandwich. They were the first place to make oven baked subs. Been going since i was 8 yrs old Im 62 now. Ladies should only order a half because this ssndwich is huge !

I hesitate to leave a review because this place is so fantastic I want to keep it as I Hidden Gem but they deserve 5 Stars those ladies are absolutely fantastic and they make a fantastic sandwich this is going to be a once-a-week stop and grab and go only advice is call in advance to order makes it so much faster because they actually make the sandwich fresh and they're busy

This is a good sub no doubt but if u want one kind of sub! However I could use some oil n vinegar n mayo would have bn just right so bring it if u need it! Give it a shot there nice ppl subs good just not what I’m used to

One Sandwich anyway you want it.

We had been hearing about how great this place was for years. They use cotto salami which is the lowest kind of salami you can use and a ham that has a texture of Bologna. We had two slices of this rubbery ham and one slice of the cotto salami they toasted the sandwich and both the bread and the meat were burnt. The vegetables were soggy, wet, and wilted. The people who keep tooting this place are DieHard locals that no matter how bad the food is they're going to support them just because they've known them for decades. Apparently these are new owners so maybe this used to be a good place to eat. But as of January 2023 it was the biggest waste of our money all you can taste was, hot, soggy, and burnt. If you like the taste of hot soggy and burnt then please make your way to this location.

Just Awesome Sub....only need a half as a whole is about 3 feet long.

I’ve been eating here for years Never had any complications or complaints i do advise to call ahead of time I’m only disappointed in the price change and for you people who claim their sandwiches “burnt” my sandwich has never been burnt this business has been around for 52 years one sandwich and one sandwich only with no substitutions sure you can omit some ingredients the sandwich is massive makes the drive down to Ruskin worth it I will choose Marian’s over subway or any sandwich shop any day and how dare y’all compare it to the puny subway! Such disrespect! Hater tators!

First time here, the sub here was absolutely delicious! I love how simple it is, one type of sub hot Italian. Definitely will be back!

This slightly spicy sandwich is outstanding! You can remove the spicy, but its perfect as it is ALL THE WAY! NO SANDWICH compares in anyway. This sandwich hits all the right spots of the taste buds, and really isn't pricey at all. Only con, is theres only 1 MARIANS. So if you are ever near its worth a try!

They only sell 1 sub. Yes, you heard that correct... 1 sub. I think it's salami, ham and something else with mozzarella cheese. Don't take my word for it. They have only sold 1 sub for 56yrs. That's the epitome of keeping it simple!! They have condiments also. Like lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, peppers. I think you can have it cold or toasted. It was delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone. The sub was huge and filling. It was just under $12 for a whole sub but they did sell a half as well. Great price!!

I really love your subs but the last two times I ate there I had horrible stomach pains and vomiting. This food is the only common denominator.

It's okay. Quality meats. Okay bread. They only make one sub. At least that's what I have been told. Too much spicy peppers for me.

I’ve reviewed this sub shop previously but the sub was so amazing, I had to return. Visiting family and called ahead for a couple of their 18” sandwiches (made only one way). Picked up warm and got it home. Absolutely delicious! If you haven’t been to Marian’s, do yourself a favor and GO! Fantastic!

Great ( big) subs! Delicious and made to order! Like others have said, 2 sizes and only comes 1 way( you can pay extra for extra meat or special orders.) Call ahead, or order from car, BUT only one person, couple, or family in little ordering/pick up area at a time! It moves along quickly... if you are picky, or want it " your way," this place is probably not for you! They also have chips and drinks....

We pass this place every time we go fishing and decided to stop in. So glad we did! They only make one kind of sub, but it's super good. It's a toasted Italian. If you are a fan of Italian subs than this is definitely worth the stop. The staff was very nice. We definitely will be stopping there on our next fishing trip!

Have been going to Marian's for 25 years and it is still as good today as the first amazing sub I bit into as a kid.

Not the same sandwich half the meat and cheese ask for 2 all the way and got three with only onions pickles tomatoes was 37 dollars. Did it get sold to new owners?
