If you think this is authentic and formal Italian dining, you clearly have not eaten authentic Italian cuisine. I have lived in Europe and been to NY Italian Family Ristorantes that put this place to shame. Overpriced and unimpressive.

Carbonara was authentic.. when in Cocoa Beach eat at Marina restaurant . Pizza looks to be awesome. was picked up by a dozen diners as we were in the restaurant came in to pick it up

Intimate restaurant that offers Authentic Italian food vs American Italian fare. I had the special dinner of crab and shrimp ravioli and it was exquisite. Will definitely come back and recommend without hesitation.

Some of the most authentic italian food that i've had since living in the cape canaveral, cocoa beach area... Everything is made to order and a lot of homemade deserts. Don't miss out on this little gem. It's kind of easy to miss since it sits back off A1A in a small plaza. It's very small and quaint with twenty eight seats. I haven't had italian food like this since NY.

Marina Ristorante 6550 North Atlantic Ave. Cape Canaveral, FL 32931 4 Stars Egads! I looked again. Nope. Still there. Not to cause a pother here or to slam my fellow residents of the Space Coast, but according to my random name generator, I was off to tourist trap haven, better known as Cape Canaveral, for another what I could only surmise would be an Italian nick joint. At least I didn't have to go OTB today; that by itself was a good thing. Upon entering Marina Ristorante, I found myself in a small but quaint and effective place. Gino is the owner, service pro, and saucier. I asked Gino for an order of his Lasagna Bolognese along with a Ribeye Au Poivre in Cognac Sauce. Sauce. Sauce. Sauce. A brilliant sauce can solve many a food-related problem. At Marina Ristorante, I came to find that sauce is king. Lasagna is never a go-to dish for me because it has to be made in advance. Many times it sits in the walk-in cooler for days and then warmed up as needed. While this may be the case here, what separates this from the others is the sauce and cheese. The sauce is made fresh to order and the cheese is baked on (not melted in the microwave). This was an extremely tasty dish. As I've said ad nauseam it's all about execution. A cook who knows what they are doing in the kitchen and takes a modicum of pride in their work can make a plate of fried worms taste akin to the most succulent dish you've ever had. Not that the Ribeye Au Poivre in Cognac Sauce was similar in any way, shape, or form to a plate of fried worms. However, it was not USDA Grade A Prime meat either. I would say it was a mid-range steak. Regardless of the grade, it was cooked spot on and the sauce was made so flawlessly that it truly allowed you to enjoy the food. A sauce should never overpower or drown your food. Its purpose is to enhance flavor, not mask. If this had been a better-quality slab of charred cow flesh, this would have been a 5-star review. Great job, Gino! The Big Boy says, “Finally! The Big Boy has found a good Italian restaurant in a tourist area. If you smellllllllllllllllll. What. Gino. Is. Cooking.”

Six of us dined and each one of us ordered a different entire. We all loved our meals. This is a must place for dinner.

food only white people will enjoy. heavily overpriced and under portioned. no flavor in the “white sauce” which really just seemed like pasta water. my food was better but only after i reseasoned everything. the water was really good though… if this is “authentic italian” then im never going to italy lol

This is amazing, authentic, and even homey feeling Italian food at its best! We have already been a few times and will go back frequently!!! The atmosphere does need updated. The window hangings and such do look drab and a little dusty. It is small and that's not bad. It feels more homey that way, but I wouldn't want to have a very personal conversation here. The pasta serving size looks small, but I am always full by the time I finish. Don't count on left overs though. The bruschetta is AMAZING! They are the ONLY restaurant I have ever been to that does it right, and I have ordered it at lots of restaurants. Most places give you goop on soggy bread with melted cheese. Here it is wonderful crisp bread slices with fresh topping and no cheese mess. This is how it is meant to be!!! The pasta is al dente (ever so slightly firm), DELECTABLE, and makes you slow down and savor each bite. We have tried several specials, the calamari, and the bruschetta. I recommend them ALL. We haven't tried dessert yet, maybe next time. My mouth is watering thinking about it all, yum!

FOOD POISONING!!!! In my party of four people- two of us have been extremely sick since eating at this restaurant! If you would like to spend your vacation in the ER getting IV fluids then go- shut this place down!!

What a pleasant surprise … authentic Italian cuisine served by a sweet, knowledgable server. The setting is small, quaint and rustic but the food was obviously made from scratch and was delicious. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had dinner at Marina last night. Behind the simple facade hides an equally simple and cozy restaurant with very good authentic food, prepared personally and fresh by the chef, a native of Italy. We were served by a very pleasant woman who comes from Portugal. We enjoyed the real Italian food very much. So if you are in the area and want to enjoy real Italian food, you must go there.

Excellent hidden gem for authentic Italian food.

The linguine with white clam sauce had sand/shell bits in the sauce, and when I told the waitress, she and the chef/owner apologized and said that this is normal. I just had the same dish at another restaurant and didn’t eat crunchy and nearly painful sand/shell bits. Nevertheless, they’re affordable and provide good service

Two words….Hidden treasure. This is the most cozy, lovely place to dine. Added, the food being excellent. The calamari and pizza was delish. I will definitely be back once I visit cocoa beach again.

This is a very small but formal restaurant. Super friendly staff! The food was very authentic, fresh and very well prepared. The tastes were amazing! Great wine menu. The owner personally cooked everything, and you could tell he took great pride in his work. His wife was our server and she was great! This was a excellent dining experience. Would highly recommend!

Me, my husband and my 7YO kid are doing a trip through Florida and this restaurant has been a wonderful discovery. We are italian and it’s not so easy to find good italian food because generally portions are huge but the food is not yummy. Here everything was perfect: quality, taste, portions and price. We also had a nice chat with the owner, a really nice genuine person. We truly recommend this REAL italian restaurant

Whenever we want to treat ourselves to a really good meal in Cape Canaveral we go to Marina Ristorante! I e ordered many different things and am never disappointed. We are Italian and are picky when it comes to Italian food, but their food is extremely tasty, portions are generous and they have a large selection of great wines to go with dinner. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed

1st of all, I have never left a review before - but I absolutely had to share my thoughts. Initially I was a little worried when we pulled up - we almost left but decided to trust the other reviews and we are so glad we did! The food was delicious! We had the best Caesar Salad, Spaghetti Fruitti Mare, and Crab & Shrimp Ravioli Special. Everything was beyond delicious! Do not pass up an opportunity to dine here!

Listen, if you know real Italian food or if you want to try the real deal… You HAVE to try this place! I come from an old school Italian family in New England and let me tell you , eating here was like being home at my nonna’s(grandma) house! The owner cooks the food himself and you can see the pride and love he puts into every dish. He came out after we ate to introduce himself and make sure everything was good. Excellent food, excellent service! I want to say thank you for everything! We felt at home even so far away! My only suggestion would be is…. Please open in New England so we can come more often! 😁

Gino and Elizabeth were amazing! My family went a few night ago and had nothing but great things to say- so we had to go tonight. All I can say is that this is real, authentic Italian food that is worth traveling hours for! We enjoyed a variety of food on the menu, all which were spectacular. Ended the night bringing a few desserts home which were all homemade and phenomenal. If you’re visiting cocoa beach, visit marina ristorante. Thank you for everything you guys do!

A wonderful surprise to find such an excellent Italian restaurant. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. Inside is beautifully decorated to the point of being elegant. The food is even better. I had eggplant parmigiana that I must say is the best I have ever had. My daughter had lasagna which was also outstanding. My husband went for a pizza and also totally enjoyed it. Well worth a visit. Will be back for sure.

Such a hidden gem in Cape Canaveral. You must try it! I had the Roasted vegetable plate. And the house cab was fantastic. I’m Vegan and the dressing on the salad will make me go back!! but hubby had the Chicken Parm! He says it was truly NOT out of a box! He was happy too Real Italian. Must try!

Quiet gem. Food was delicious. It’s a small place; service was personal. Sauces were flavorful and not salty. One in our party disliked the very thin crust of the pizza, he would have preferred a breast crust, but others enjoyed their pasta.

We came because of good reviews. Expected good italian dinner and ended up very dissapointed 😔 Servis was absolutelly fine, can not say anything about it, they even brought us an appetizer which was a nice surprise. We ordered sauvignon blanc and it tasted good. Soup of the day was lets say okay. As a main meal, we ordered spaghetti carbonara, as we are huge carbonara lovers, and also penne aglio e olio. Well, we expected oil, but not a plate full of oil and pasta drowning in it. Pretty same with carbonara. We probably ate more oil than pasta today. Espresso saved it a bit, it was really good, but did not save overall experience. We had quite big expectations from italian restaurant but it was a fiasco. Reviews were great, our visit was a dissapointment 😔

This is a very small but formal restaurant. The food was very authentic, fresh and very well prepared. Great wine menu. The owner took great pride in his work. Not only did he personally cook everything he served us as well. Being in the restaurant business for 22 years I'm very critical, this was best dining experience we've ever had.

What a wonderful little discovery! Small, quiet music, lovely ambience. And then, there's Elisabete (Portuguese lovely) waiting on you. Almost forgot the food. The caesar salad only requires you not to choke trying to eat it too quickly because it is delicious. The frutti de mare is flavorful and a lovely portion. No hard liquor BUT there is wine. The bread and oil are a 10

Amazing flavors were in all the dishes my family ordered! Tiramisu was the real deal, one of the best I have tasted since I was in Tuscany. A must try.

I really do not like to leave negative reviews but this one cannot be helped. I ordered the pork in gorgonzola sauce for $25 and received two boneless thin cut chops which were tough and dry. The gorgonzola sauce was basically cheese flavored gravy. It came with extremely overdone broccoli (picture the color of a dying Christmas tree) and a lump of what I presume to be sweet potatoes (barely identifiable). At this price point, one would expect much better but at any price point, this meal was not acceptable. This was our wedding anniversary dinner and based on the reviews, we thought it was going to be fabulous. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Went with my family… the pizza was fantastic and the pasta spectacular !!!! The alfredo salsa was really good… very familiar environment not crowded I will definitely come back on my next trip you feel like you are having dinner in a family home… thank you for the experience

Don't order from her. Overpriced. Spent over 80 bucks and chicken picatta was 2 small pieces with 6 slices of zucchini and a 1/4 cup of some potato mash. No pasta. Terrible. Order from Branos. Dont be fooled by the looks of the outside : this is a REAL Italian restaurant that serves tasty food at a fair price. We had the antipasti followed by fresh ravioli (crab & prawns for me, spinach for my wife) and Caesar salad for the girls. Everything was fresh and good (if a little too salty) Thanks for this awesome food !

Quaint restaurant. Food and service was magnificent. House salad and Ceasar salad were fresh and delicious. There were four of us so I tried a bite of each, and all of the meals were cooked to perfection. Cheesecake and tiramisu were our tasty desserts. Reasonable prices too.

Full review below; here is the TL;DR: - Food was PHENOMENAL, we had three different dishes and the bruschetta appetizer. Everything was fresh, the sauce on point, and the portion JUST right - not too much that you overate and not too little. - Atmosphere - cozy, cute, welcoming. The owners - main server and chef both - were as welcoming and inviting as any Italian family would be. - Cost: not cheap, but not overpriced. Watch the bill if you partake of the wine, but the costs outside of the wine were completely reasonable. We came in from out of town to have a family vacation. On the way to our Air BNB we knew we needed dinner, and there were only a couple restaurant options open at 9 pm when we arrived. I took the gamble and took us here and WOW was it the best decision EVER. There was no one else in the store and they were only open for another hour; but when I tell you we were treated like we were visiting an old Italian friend, that is truly how it felt. They did not rush us out - in fact, quite the opposite. Over an hour after they had "closed" they were offering us dessert and wines and making sure we were comfortable - even after having closed out our initial checks. Now, it was reasonably priced as well - the food was beautifully priced, amazingly portioned, and FANTASTIC. The wine was paired magnificently by the server and chef who knew what would work well with what you ordered and the espresso (yes, I drank espresso at 10 pm as a dessert) was truly Italian, strong and phenomenal. I truly cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and will 100% come back - and will even ask my family and friends from south Florida and Atlanta to make the drive just for this dinner.

You might not expect much at first, a somewhat dilapidated strip-mall next to an actual strip bar, interior decor that is... not the main attraction. But the food is delicious! The staff and owners fantastic, welcoming and also very accommodating of our food allergy issues too. Surprisingly well crafted traditional Italian in an unpretentious setting. Can understand why it is popular with the locals who know.

Wow! I’m kicking myself for driving past this place so many times. Been on the hunt for an Italian restaurant with flavor and the search has ended!! I had the Bucatini all' Amatriciana and it was like being transported to Manarola, my boyfriend enjoyed the pasta carbonara paired with the fresh baked bread….. “le sigh”. The ambience of this restaurant is very relaxing, the owners are adorable! I’m already planning on what to choose when we return.

Absolutely fantastic food! Amazing service. Best Italian experience I have had in a long time. The meal was flavorful and prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is intimate and warm.

We wanted to love this small family-owned Italian restaurant as an Italian family visiting Cocoa Beach looking for familiar tastes of good quality home made food. Unfortunately we left feeling disappointed: the simplest aglio olio pepperoncino was full of butter which left me feeling nauseous, the scoglio (seafood pasta) also tasted like butter which overwhelmed any tastes of seafood, the steak au poivre was good but rather salty, and the tortellini della nonna was creamy and again very buttery. The menu looked compelling and full of potential, and we really wanted to love it all; we could not help but to empathize whether the chef had to drown every dish in butter because that's how the local clientele likes it?

Marina and her husband are amazing!! The food was the best I have had in a very long time! Will definitely come back next time we are in town!

Absolutely, the best Italian food!!! We live in Cocoa Beach, a short distance from the restaurant. In the past, we dined in, but lately, we have been ordering takeout due to COVID and all. The owner waits for us to arrive before cooking the appetizers. The calamari is perfect. It is hot and so delicious. I can’t say enough positive comments about this place. The prices are good. The food is wonderful. You should try it. :)

I ordered a Caesar salad and added chicken and my husband got a small pizza with 2 toppings.. I don't know how that came to $32.00.

Amazing and authentic Italian pasta and dishes. Truly a wonderful quaint and amazing waitress and chef work this wonderful ristorante. The food was so delicious my whole family are everything from appetizer to entrees. Just amazing pasta dishes. Loved it. We will be back when we visit Cocoa beach in the future. You have to try the food here. Just home cooked and fantastic sauces and ragu on pastas. Absolutely excellent service and Gino Chef and owner is a gracious host and fantastic chef! Absolute BEST pasta I’ve had in my life! The pasta was amazing, eggplant was fantastic, phenomenal fresh baked bread, and I wish I lived in the area to be able to go back again and again!! 100% recommend this place for pasta. Please give them a try! The owner is so kind and came out and talked to us. They have great prices, but the flavor speaks louder than the price. It’s a hidden gem that everyone needs to try!

I stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night at dinner time. There was no one else inside the storefront dining room which was a plus in my book. I had a caesar salad, the crab and shrimp ravioli I'd seen on the website and a cannoli and it was all very good and pretty to look at. I'd like to try more. The service was quick and polite too although I'm probably more likely to do takeout unless it's empty again when I visit. Also interesting is the unique and limited selection of pizza toppings..
