If you like a good jersey diner for breakfast, This is it. Good wait staff, excellent coffee. I will say if you are seeking Danish for the morning they do not have a lot of bakery. If you are looking for eggs, pancakes, etc. You found it.

Everyone here is so friendly, feels like eating at home. Owners are there a lot and it’s super clean. Not to mention, they have great prices. Support a local gem!

Good food at a reasonable price

Great service and food I had the western omelette and some spanakopita. Very tasty cooked riight eggs weren’t under cooked creating a lot of moisture or dried out.from overcooking. Highly recommended this is my breakfast spot!

Heard good things about this place, and since we were in the area decided to order pick up. I would say that of the four dishes that we got, everybody said that their food was either not great or OK. I ordered a chicken dish that was described as being “smothered” in a creamy white sauce, with spinach and melted mozzarella on top. There was absolutely no creamy white sauce anywhere to be found, which was disappointing because the chicken, while well seasoned, was fairly tough to eat. Then the side of linguine was over cooked and under-sauced. Not a great experience.

My daughter and I experienced a wonderful family-like breakfast yesterday. The selections were exceptional and thd service and food admirable. Will remember Maritsas as a go-to place when near Maple Shade. A good breakfast without drama really sets up the day!

Stopped at this place while passing through. I enjoyed it all. The food was excellent, as well as the service. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, even though she was on a lunch break herself. I liked the inside of the place, kinda old school, but modern at the same time. I definitely recommend this place whether you live there, or passing through.

Excellent food & service. Varied menu.

Found this little gem from other reviews. Great hometown diner. All the classics comfort food you want in a diner. The service was fast and friendly and the food hit the spot. The burger was that perfect combo of flavors...meat, onions, bacon, mushrooms and that perfect hint of grease. The bun was toasted and buttery. The eggs and home fries...delish. inside was classic diner....was waiting for Flo to show up.

The food is great and the service is awesome. The owner and his wife are very nice people. Also I live her flower garden. Thank You once again for the wonderful services and the awesome 👌 food.

The food was spot on, we’ve cleaned our plates! I ordered blueberry hotcakes with hash browns and pork sausage! Delicious.

Small town diner vibes which makes me happy. I got a pork roll and Monterey jack omelette with home fries and both were soft on the inside with a nice crisp on the outside. Cooked perfectly, not a hint of overcooked dryness. Just really good simple breakfast at a good price.

I had taken my mom here for lunch and was surprised the amount of food that we got. It was enough to last us another day. I would definitely go again. Our Waitress was great, food was delicious.

Love going for breakfast or lunch. Staff is friendly. I recently went for a funeral luncheon and all of the food on the steam table was cold? (Chicken Parm, green beans, pasta, meatloaf) I'm not sure why it was not kept hot? But it was disappointing. The set up in the banquet room as also odd as far as seating everyone and then getting your food.

This was my first time there. People are so friendly. For my breakfast, I had chipped beef on toast with a side of sausage. It was very good. I would come back again. I highly recommend going for breakfast and lunch.

The food was delicious but the hours are a bit short.

This is a picture of a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. What you see is what I got- a few pieces of diced up bacon. All of the bacon in this sandwich didn't add up to one slice. The waitress told me that if I wanted actual strips of bacon I had to be "more specific" when I ordered. That was the way the chef prepares it. My husband's ham, egg & cheese was prepared the same way. This restaurant's practice of cutting corners cost them two neighborhood repeat customers.

The Restaurant has changed a lot. So much space in the dining area. The Staff greeted my Father and I with a Hello and Welcome. Food is delicious and priced good for the amount they feed you. I would like to go back and try a different dish on their menu.

Well worth the bridge toll from Philly. Old school diner-type atmosphere with an experienced owner who spends to keep his facility modern with high quality food & equipment, clean, reasonable prices and top notch staff. Fresh seafood on Friday. I had the fresh fried flounder while my friend enjoyed a broiled lump crab cake which is also available fried. My 2 sides were a double order of very good baked macaroni and my friend had mashed potatoes with a bit of gravy and string beans which were excellent. A basket of garlic bread came with the meal and you can substitute rolls instead. Homemade bread pudding with good, hot, fresh cups of Lacas coffee topped out a wonderful dinner that we decided to have instead of lunch since we were hungry. Our waitress was fantastic, going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. They even let us sit at a table in the side room saved for groups/overflow which was much easier for me. The entire place was spotless. Maritsas will now be a regular stop.

Food is homemade and it is a local restaurant where many people know each other and make you feel very comfortable.

I was greeted when I walked in. Server was friendly and attentive. Fast service, quick enough for my lunch break. I ordered the veggie supreme grinder and a side of soup, it was VERY good. You could taste the care put into it. The bread alone was worth a 5 star.

Always good food and service. Well now that I come to think of it I have not had all there food. I love the crispy chicken pasta salad and 99.999% of the time I get that. But I would guess everything else is just as good. I no longer have other reasons to go near here so this has become the reason.

The BEST blueberry pancakes I ever had. I am very picky with meatloaf so I ordered it the 2nd trip to Maritsas & it was delicious. I asked for meatloaf on a long roll with gravy instead of the platter. It was so delicious! The only thing I wasn't happy with was I believe they ran out of meatloaf because the sandwich had a tiny thin slice across like it was the last piece. I have never been served a sandwich with the meat missing like that. We had a pretty good laugh about it because the thin slice was seasoned to perfection. Hopefully when I order it again, it will have the rest of the meat. Great prices, kind service! The restaurant was spotless clean. I recommend Maritsas 10,000 times over. I hope you stay in business for a long time because we love your food. Thank you!!

Had a western omelet with home fries and toast. The potatoes could have been crisper. Nothing special about the omelet. Server was very friendly and attentive.

A cheerful variety of pretty flowers greet you as you enter the restaurant. A nice clean place to eat with friendly and helpful employees. We had the corned beef specials with french fries. The french fries were nice and crispy even after they were cold and remained enjoyable. Our sandwiches were delicious! Our waitress was very accommodating with any preferences with our order. They didn’t rush us so we had time to chat. We would recommend eating here for a nice enjoyable meal!

Went there for many years. Last few times just ok. Alot less food and 33.00 for Breakfast for 2 is just not even close to worth it.

The bacon was way too done and didn't have flavor just tasted like oil, the eggs weren't scrabble with chz they were folded with a slice on top, but the waiter was friendly and attentive. They charge 1.50 for onions, 1.50 for peppers and 5 dollars for bacon. So we spent 25 a piece with French toast, bacon, eggs, and homefries

This is a family style Italian restaurant. Casual attire. The food was very good. I had eggplant parm that was delicious. The side of green beans were just so, so. Staff is friendly and attentive.
