This cute place is the best food in town!!!! Everything on the menu is delicious and made with love. You only come in here as a stranger once, but you're treated like family and treated very friendly!!! Our favorite go to, when we're in the area!!

I'm not really happy with my visit. Waitress seemed like she had some issues. Walked past our table several times to go to an empty table and seemed lost. She may have had some kind of medical issue and I am not trying to be rude but just stating the facts. When she did come to our table, she sat down in our booth beside me (where there wasn't even enough room to sit). I had to move over to give her room to sit because she was right up against me. It's a little odd and unprofessional. She proceeded to take our order while sitting in our booth. When our food arrived, my friends order was wrong. She did not speak up and say anything. I did not either, but I wasn't too happy with the food itself as the potatoes were kind of a dark, funky color and tasted instant. The gravy tasted canned. The meat and bread was ok. I had open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. Seemed a little odd that this didn't come with a side vegetable but it was listed under hot sandwiched like Philly cheese steak and the kind of sandwiched you get fries with and pick up and eat with your hands. In my opinion, this item should have come with a side other than mashed potatoes. This kind of sandwich should have been under a different category where you get a vegetable with it. So the meal was $10.29. I had water, so that was my full bill. When she brought the receipt, it was $13.66, and I questioned the waitress on why it was that much? She pointed to a sign up on a wall (between rows of booths, out of sight because it was above eye level) that there is a fee for using my debit card. Put the sign on the table where it is visible. I did not see this until after she had already ran my card. On the handwritten receipt, it was not legible, and the fee didn't say anything except the $1.99, which I thought was zeros because i had water. From what I have been told, fees should not be charged on debit cards. The fee was approx. $1.99 on a bill under $11 with the tax included. This is almost 20% and sounds awful high for that amount. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was just turned off by the whole experience. I have been there a couple of times before, and it was ok, and I don't remember any fees. I will not go there again.

What a gem! We found this by chance,quaint,cute,fun staff, food was a 10! Came for breakfast, our new fun diner!

The food is always good, cooked almost to perfection every time, (and that's saying A LOT, as my orders are usually rather specific, sometimes borderline complicated.) Food comes out quickly, hot and fresh, and portions are pretty generous. The owner is a wonderful lady, and their main cook is pretty awesome, good at his job. The place as a whole is fantastic, from the atmosphere down to the food itself. I highly recommend going.

This place serves the food hot and fresh. They have a better choice of sides than places like cracker barrel. The sausage patties are bigger and better than anyone else's. Once in a while they have a fried fish sandwich on the specials that is great. Inside it's like something from decades ago but I'm not saying that is a bad thing.

I like that they offer dozens of sides options. The pancakes were great & coffee was on point.

Nice and freshly served food. We took a stop while driving back from Orlando. Their hash browns and omelets are really yummy. Only thing I wish could be better where their seating comfort, may be new chairs and tables

Hands down best biscuits and gravy in Florida! That’s the only dish I ever get when I go to breakfast diners and Mary’s did not disappoint!!!!! Biscuits themselves were warm, buttery, fluffy. I have no idea how they do it to get them so perfect. Prices are really good too. I live in JAX and may consider driving down to just have them again and again.

This place is a great place to eat breakfast. Most of its clientele are regulars and it has a great atmosphere and vibe. The food is cooked to order and it arrived at our table in a timely manner and it was hot. I will definitely be stopping by again!! Great service!!

We didn't eat here. I don't believe that a customer should be charged for using a debit or credit card. Plus tax and tip. So, we chose to go elsewhere.

This is the best breakfast around. The staff is so friendly and knows everyone by name. The servings are huge and the prices are low.

We went for breakfast. There was a matted hair ball in my food. We told the server and she agreed to take it back and get me another plate. I told her that would not be necessary, but to just bring us our check. We paid for the check and left and went somewhere else to eat breakfast. Trust was lost at that point.

Our server was the best part! Their waffle iron was broke so we ordered pecan pancakes instead, my partners bacon was dry & overcooked, coffee was ok.

I love that they're open early. We were taking a road trip Sunday morning and wanted breakfast before hitting the highway. We got in there early, got served quickly, the food was good and we were out in good time for our day trip.

Had the pancake breakfast and the chicken fried steak breakfast. Both yummy! Service was excellent, we finally found our go-to breakfast place! And they serve real butter with the pancakes, unlike a couple of places we've been recently.

There are two types of people in this world, people who can be pleased, and people with bad attitudes who find fault with everything. Keep that in mind when reading the reviews for any business. A buddy and I went to Mary's Place for lunch after church today. This was the first time for each of us. We each had the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, mashed potatoes, country style green beans, macaroni salad, homemade cornbread, and a drink. The meal was $10.99, which is a great price for all that food!!! The service was outstanding, friendly, and informative. The atmosphere was "homey". I will definitely return!! IF I COULD GIVE SIX STARS, I WOULD!!!!!!!

Brings me the wrong food brings me know so we're then when I tell her she brings me the wrong food she wants to check her receipt to make sure it was the right order that I put it now with that being said I ordered the same food every time I go to that restaurant anytime I go out to any restaurant order the same food felt like I was being discriminated against they didn't want me in there

We stopped for lunch on a Sunday and had a short wait for a table, and a longer wait for the food. Burgers were worth the wait. The meat was very flavorful. My mushroom and Swiss topping was just ok, but my husband’s muffuletta burger was delicious! The fries were perfect- hot and crispy. My son got three pancakes and it was more than he could eat. The pancakes were also more flavorful than normal. We would highly recommend! Good value.

Best food and Service in Bellview

This is a great place for home cooked breakfast. All food was tasty and reminiscent of childhood meals. Sam, our server, was friendly and attentive. My biscuit, while very tasty, was not warm enough to melt butter, but I'm sure Sam would have warmed it up if I had asked. It's a great little hole in the wall that we will remember when we're in that neck of the woods.

I had the country fried steak and eggs over easy, loaded hashbrowns and wheat toast. Everything came out perfect.

They are prejudice. They only really want white people in there. Due to this I'll never go again. Their staff has attitudes as well. They mix their cold pork products with their non pork. They are horrible. So if your not white u get treated horribly then if you can't eat PORK DONT GO. ASK TO SEE THEIR KITCHEN SHOW YOU

Our party was not greeted ....someone yell from back of the room telling us to sit a table filled with dirty dishes. Waitstaff was not friendly at all. Our meals were mediocre at best....

It took longer than I would have preferred to get our meals, however, it was well worth the wait. The food was delicious and the cost totally reasonable. We'll definitely return.

8/10/22 11:00am We got seating right away, Karen greeted us and was very friendly and informative. Sam was our waitress and the service was OUTSTANDING!!! Onion rings are best you will find in central Florida, the reubens were very good and burger also excellent, we all enjoyed all our food and had a great visit! Would give it 6 stars if i could! DON'T LET THE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU! Its not fancy but where it counts they can't be beat!

Excellent food, prepared just how I wanted it and promptly even though the place was busy! Mary even came out to a table with the different sausages they gave and asked the lady which one was the type she preferred. The parking lot for a first timer was a little confusing and tight but it all worked out fine and we were so darn happy we chose this super cute little time warp back to the 50s, 60s and 70s - Real diner! Open from 6 a.m to 2 pm every day I think. The lunch menu is really a dinner menu with so many sides to choose from. Have lunch and but dinner to take home for later or have breakfast and get lunch and dinner for later. Lol Love this real pearl in Belleview, Florida!

My husband was not happy with his meal. Mashed potatoes were lumpy, the macaroni salad had no flavor. My scrapple was a flat mess but my biscuit, home fries and scrambled eggs were good.

We recently moved from South Florida and came across Mary's Place on our way home (still feels weird :))! From the outside, not what we're use to but WOW, the food was delicious and of course, the service was kind, attentive and they all worked as a team. The place was packed. We will definitely return. Comes to show, appearances ARE deceiving.

Extraordinary food for a diner! The front of house staff are friendly and prompt, slightly slowing on busier days, but nonetheless a pleasurable diner experience. The cooks have it spot on for the volume and timely manner in which the food comes out. Expect delays though, when the rush comes, they are human after all!

My new place for early Saturday morning breakfast. Great omelets, biscuits and gravy, eggs anyway you want them. All around good food in a very homey atmosphere.

The food is good, the sweet tea was not very good at all tasted like water , the waitress we had could not hear very well so she did get the order wrong very small place not the cleanest either the table was sticky and still had food on it

I got the combo half order biscuits with egg and sausage. I got to say I wasn't disappointed. If you know farmhouse its got the same feel to it
