My wife and I had their pizza and the best in the area! The crust and sauce perfect!!! We had mushrooms and green olives and that pizza chef knows what he is doing...... thank you for a great experience.

Very enjoyable experience. Went will a large group and the service was exceptional. Remi was very attentive and never got overwhelmed. Food was excellent. They are on the pricey side for lunch.

Sorry but probably one of the worst so called Italian places I've ever been to IN this COUNTRY, the garlic knots were bad right off the start they didn't even come with Italian oil or sauce ,they were very dry to the point that they tasted stale and when we told the waitress she snubbed her nose and said fine I'll just take them away and ya know what her service was like the rest of the night ,so we ordered pizza again the dough was very dry and tasteless and the sentiment was the same for all four of us, about the only thing that may have been ok was I was provided with enough refills and thank goodness cause I needed to wash down the dry tasteless dough , don't think your getting out of there for any decent price either , if ya want a side salad expect to pay as much as a meal at other places

We’ve gone there quite a few times and it’s usually hit or miss, yesterday was a miss. The menu options seem to be lacking and I don’t remember it being that way before. The service was good as there were a handful of diners there for being dinner time . My husband’s spaghetti sauce had a slight burnt taste to it and my fish was ok . Sadly probably won’t be going back.

I have been going to Riccardo's for years, they have food, great service and a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic Italian food! I got the scallops and shrimp, so good. Appetizers of bruschetta and calamari were excellent as well as the sauces. Drinks and service were great too. Definitely would go but.

My husband and I joined another couple for dinner and I can’t rave enough about! I ordered the garlic and wine clams, which the waiter put ordered to the kitchen right away. And for my main course I ordered a calzone with mushrooms and onions. Hubby ordered a combo which included baked pasta, a meatball and eggplant Parmesan. We loved everything!!!! The calzone was piping hot with lots of melted cheese. Huge portion! The clams were amazing!!!!! I even took home the broth!!

Seated quickly, menu options plentiful and reasonably priced. All appetizers and entrees were excellent. Good and courteous service.

Older facility, great bar although not very busy I find that quite nice given how busy the villages area can be. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch.

First time trying Riccardo's. The food was missing some flavor. We had eggplant parmesan and shrimp scampi. Food was prompt and hot. Must have been a one-off for us, but we will try again. The service was great, and food was priced reasonably.

We finished our work day hungry and thirsty. It’s about 19 miles from The Villages and SO worth the drive. The eggplant parmigiana was fantastic. The spaghetti with garlic and oil was a superb choice. Fast, fresh and the staff were polite and lovely.

I have been to the restaurant on two separate occasions. The first time was for dinner. We started with the bruschetta for an appetizer. The bread was sliced so thin that it became soggy from the veggie mixture. The drizzle of balsamic was overwhelming to the point that it was all that I could taste. For the meal I ordered the chicken marsala and was not at all impressed. My husband ordered the chicken parm and thought that it was okay. We went some place else for dessert. My second visit was with friends for dessert. The meeting place was not my suggestion. However, I thought that it was a good time to sample the dessert. I ordered the cannoli. It looked great when it was brought out. There was a lot in the way of toppings, syrup drizzle along with large chocolate chips. The taste was meh. I felt that the filling could've been mixed a bit longer the consistency was a little off. The filling however was not overly sweet. Perhaps that was the reason for the volume of topping? My friends all ordered cheesecake and thought that it was good. If I go back for dessert maybe I'll order it instead. As for dinner, I will not go back there.

We decided to travel down to Bellview from Ocala and we really enjoyed the food , drinks, service. Made reservations for a Saturday night and the table was ready when we arrived. First the server Breanna did a terffic job all night and guided us thru the menu. We started with a strawberry martini, and a blueberry martini, both with fresh fruit and very very good. So, yes they have a full bar, and bar area if you want to watch a game or just sit at the bar.We started with sticky ribs [ sweet chili sauce ] and bruschetta. Both great and I appreciate that they did not rush us. Ordered drinks, had them then ordered appetizer, had them then ordered main course. I had the Spaghetti Pescatore which was excellent and was huge and had all the seafood you would expect. All fresh , and had the balance for lunch the next day. Would have preferred a little spicier but I would order again no problem although the most expensive on the menu at 39.00.My wife had the lamb chops which were seasoned perfectly but slightly overcooked [ med well ] with braccolini and potato. Total 144.64 + tip. They have all the classics and pizza. Strong recommend and we will return. Give it a try

I enjoyed the potato crusted grouper which was a chalkboard special today and it was delicious! I've been to this restaurant twice now and have been pleased with the food and the service.

Real top class establishment. Enjoyed steak done to perfection seasoned just right, with sweet potato lasagna.

They make great restaurant made soups for their soup 🍲 of the day, but chicken 🐔 noodle is also available everyday. Pizza 🍕 is thin crust. I got a bowl of chicken noodle and a slice of cheese, extra crispy and the meal was excellent, the soup 🍲 was delicious and the thin crust crispy slice was perfect. I had a Greek salad too,, nice and fresh. My wife loved her meal also. She also had a Greek salad and she had Chicken Marsalis, and loved it.

Everything was excellent and very reasonably priced.

First timers, went with friends. Very low-key, casual atmosphere. Comfortable. Jeans are fine. Never expected the selection and quality of food. Incredible. On par with Mezza Luna at two-thirds the cost. Love the I-Pad menu. Our waiter Bob, was excellent. Will ask for him and will wait for a table in his section. Yes, he was that good. In the days of average to horrible service it was a pleasure to be treated like a human being and not a "burn and turn" table. Final note. Went on a rainy Saturday evening. Place was enjoying a very busy night. Appeared to have enough waitstaff to support the level of activity. The kitchen also appeared not to be short-staffed as food was being delivered all around us quickly. In closing, here's to hoping our return visit will be as good as our first.

I was craving chicken parm so I stopped in for take-out. I waited about five minutes, with staff walking by me without so much as a greeting much less an offer to help or even an assurance that someone would be with me soon. I was really craving that chicken parm so I waited a few more minutes until someone finally took my order. The food came out in a reasonable period of time since prep cooks make trays of it in advance. A salad came with with my meal but... not so much. What they call a salad is a handful of lettuce and a container of store bought Caesar dressing. None of the things you would expect to find in a Caesar salad were included, like shredded parmesan cheese or croutons, much less anything you find in a standard house salad. I do not consider lettuce alone a salad. It's just lettuce. The chicken parm, however was very good.

What a great little Italian restaurant! We were recommended to try it from the great sales team across the street at Gary Yoemans Ford. First of all the menus were awesome. They are all tablets that give nice zoomed in views and detailed explanations of all the dishes. We had pizza, linguini, rigatoni, meatballs and other dishes that were all fantastic. Super friendly staff. We'll definitely be going back soon.

Left thirsty because we were never given refills versus the table next to us she had a pitcher for their refills while my kids were trying to fish ice out the cup. Also, a customer should never have to explain what they expected a margherita pizza to look or taste like, you can see the difference when you Google your own pictures versus what is served. FYI, coming from a chef steak tomatoes are not for margherita pizza they’re more for salads and burgers😉

What a surprise eating here for the first time. Delicious dinner meal served with a smile. I had eaten at other local restaurants and none I wanted to go back to but this one is a winner. I will be back manny times.

The food here is very good. This time, I had blackened chicken Alfredo with a Ceasar salad. All good! The serving size was great for leftovers.

Stale garlic knots, a quiet of sauce poured over the ravioli and made it look like tomato soup. Worst service , she never came to fill our drinks, just kinda threw the meal at us. Not worth the drive to get there.

Ist off the food is good but not great. The pasta fasoule was nothing more than a bean soup, very salty. The garlic knots were stale. My mussels in garlic sauce were very good. My friend got the ravioli with meatballs, the dish was so full of sauce that you would not even see the raviolis..she said after she drained all the sauce off that they were good. Now to the service, the waitress barely acknowledged us, never even offered to take back the ravioli dish to drain the quart of sauce that was on the plate. She never came back to refill the drinks until we were done with dinner. Although the food was good I don't think I'll go back there.

I have been here several times when I'm in from St Pete visiting friends. Love the place! Bob was our server tonight and we really liked him! Super fun and efficient. All of our meals were fantastic, too!

Let me start off I am a local and a repeat customer and all my visits to this restaurant have been truly good this is the first time I had very poor food and I will explain why. I ordered a 12 inch cauliflower pizza and a Caesar salad. & 2 drinks the drinks were fine the Caesar salad was incorrectly made it was just plain lettuce and grated cheese I asked them to hold the croutons and what I got was nowhere near what a true Caesar salad should be. There was no romaine lettuce, anchioves (optional), olive oil, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice & garlic and a good Ceasars dressing (they served me 2 little cups of Kens Ceasar Dressing) I mean seriously just regular salad and grated cheese. The pizza was paper thin and the pepperoni (only about 13 pieces...lol) and mushroom were sparse, also the pizza itself tasted undercooked. Please see photo's, My server Rachel was outstanding. This is not what I expected from this visit or the great tasting food I usually get. Sadly I can no longer recommend this restaurant, please take your taste buds and money elsewhere as thier food as gone way down in taste quality.

Their special clam chowder was on the menu so I ordered a bowl. It was reasonably hot and turned out to be the best bowl of pure Potato soup that I've had recently!!

Stop by to visit a friend in the area. We went for dinner. Place was very busy, everyone was very friendly, food came out fast and tasted great.

The spaghetti was just plain awful. The spaghetti wasn't done and the sauce was dry and tasted old !! The rolls were super hard and seemed old. Very bad experience!!

It's not as good as it used to beti us. Pizza toppings are very expensive. At $2.50 per item for what you get on a large pizza (18 inches) kind of steep. You can get an entire bag of onions for $2.50. The side salad was bare bones for 5.50. Dressing was good (house). But, all of that would have seemed better if our waiter was a little more personable. He seemed arrogant to both of us, not really friendly, with no smile, and did the minimum. We had him before, same feeling. Don't know his name. The rest of the staff are much friendlier. The place was packed, though. Good pizza is impossible to find here in Central fl.

Riccardo's is in a strip center, but don't let that fool you. The food is great, and so is the service.

I don't know what took me so long to find this Place,, , But Pasta Fair,,, and Bellevue pizza,,,, cannot hold a candle to this place. The food and service is outstanding and all around amazing . Wow how do these other people stay in business I don't understand because they suck...... bad FOOD and SERVICE.... sorry just speaking the truth.....

I’ve had Ricardo’s once before but I can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed them or been there again recently. I stopped by and let me just say (this is going to be a long review) I stopped by after not having been by for a very long while. The last item I had was the Spaghetti and Meatballs. They are quite advanced as the menu was on an iPad. After not knowing what to pick. My server recommended one of the chefs dinner specials. I picked the filet mignon, with bacon wrapped scallop, shrimp, and Mushroom/Spinach. With plenty of bread to spare. It was awesome food 👏. While I waited there was plenty to read from newspapers to local business cards. Also they have a sink OUTSIDE of the restroom which was amazing. As I’ve never seen anything like it before and I find it very useful. My servers name is Bob and he was fantastic. He was very attentive and all around a very nice guy that gave off great vibes. Whenever I return again I hope to have him as my server. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE HE DESERVES IT!There is a reason this restaurant has been here for almost 12 YEARS! (Which if you know anything about restaurants especially local ones you know that this is a great sign) TLDR; Please stop by and support this small local business they are great/ you’re missing out!!!

Ordered a Chicken Parmesan sub...Hands down best sauce I've had in literally years! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Hats off to Riccardo and his staff. Absolutely stellar

We were turned away. they had a patio but we were not permitted to sit there with our dogs because they didn’t have enough servers. dogs were not allowed inside.

First time visitors Anniversary adventure. Staff was amazing. & “on it”. Did not have to wait for drink refills. 👍🏻 Owner pleasant and a great cook! Some of the most authentic homestyle dishes we ve had in this area!

We stoped in for lunch on a weekday in September 2023. Before we even were inside, an employee we think was named Craig, welcomed us to Riccardo's. We would not have known he was an employee, had he not welcomed us. One inside, our waiter, whose name was Bob, was also quite friendly and helpful. Riccardo's (which I found out was his first name), uses tablets as menu's. It took a little playing around to figure it out, but worked well once we familiarized ourselves with the tablet. We ordered our food which came out fairly quick. Both of us thought the food was very good. The prices were reasonable as well. The food was not perfect, but better than most. As such, I still gave them five stars because Riccardo's did a good job of providing us with a nice atmosphere to eat a very good lunch, at a reasonable price. As I said, not everything is perfect, but they did very well and better than most. I'm pretty sure that we will return again.

Great spot. Food is always on point. Red sauce is some of the best out there. Meatballs melt in your mouth. Great happy hour specials daily. Closed Sundays. Lunch special combos are a great deal. The Italian sausage was a bit dry and chewy but had a nice flavor. We'll be back to try more items. Looking forward to trying the clams, especially at half-off happy hour!

Chicken Picatta was good when I finally got to eat it. When it was 1st brought out,it was lukewarm,at best,had to send it back. One of my friends dinner( Chicken Marsala) was cold,too. Only those two dishes out of 15 dinners. We think these two were finished first,then left under a salamander. Our waiter was a young man and he was an excellent server. All in all, I do like this place and will do back.

Chicken Marsala had no wine in the sauce and was sweet brown gravy.

The Chicken Parmesan was good with a side of spaghetti BUT... it was a late lunch, 2pm on a Friday, it was supposed to be a chicken parm sub we were to split. Instead it eas the entree and they charged $2.50 to split it. No salad offered. A $12 sub became a $21 entree. A little disappointing.

What a great find, I was heading home from Riding at Santos, it was getting late. I called in a pizza for pickup, got there and they were getting ready to close. Staff was busy cleaning, mopping and getting the place ready for tomorrow. Got my large Supreme and it smelt heavenly. I'll most definitely be back.

Remodel is nice, service was slow and lacking much knowledge of the menu. Don't order spaghetti and meatballs unless you want spaghetti soup. Don't care for the new menu changes. The tablets take away from a guest experience.

I took my 14 year old granddaughter here for lunch. We each were given a tablet with the menu on it. We'd never been here before, so our waiter offered to walk us through the menu. Bob gave us a perfect tour. Everything tasted freshly made and wonderfully authentic! We were given two pieces of scrumptious bruchetta on the house since we were first-time guests. My granddaughter loved her blackened chicken over pasta with Alfredo sauce, and she's a picky eater. I really enjoyed my meatballs in marinara sauce and salad. The carrot cake for dessert was delicious as well. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Our service by Bob was excellent. I will be back with other family members and friends!

Great affordable food especially on happy hour, the pizza is to die for. Sticky ribs are perfectly crispy and juicy, and the coffee rum cocktail was especially good, my first ever alcoholic drink and it has stuck with me since. Can't go wrong at all

We tried this place on a whim as we were next door at the crystal shop. We loved it! They food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the staff was kind. We will be returning to try more dishes! As well as, to order more fries because they were the best we’ve ever had! Desserts were excellent too! The peanut butter/chocolate cake is a must!

Food was delicious, but the service was horrible. Took forever to have our order taken and drinks refilled, the waiter wasn't very friendly, he treated us like we were unconvincing him for even being there. Not sure if he was having a bad night or what, but makes us not want to dine in again.

The food was exceptional. We had shrimp and scalopps pomodoro fresca and zuppa de mare. Everything was super fresh. The calamary on my pasta dish were really soft, the shrimp enourmous and you could taste the fresh ingedients. The sauce was homemade and the herbs were on a plant not long before they landed on the plate. The appetizer bruchetta was just prepared for us. The bread was still warm from being toasted. The portion was very generous and loaded with seafood. Friendly unobstrusive service. Great value for the quality. We definately will come back when we are in town.

My first time back since COVID and pleasantly surprised on all the renovations a full service bar and as usual the food was fantastic,as was the service. Can't wait to go back.

Oh my gosh! We drive an hour away just to get their food! Pizza is incredibly delicious but the pasta is perfection! You can taste the quality in the housemade sauces and pasta. The Chicken Sausage Rustica is by far my fave! Haven't tried their Lasagna yet, but if their Ravioli's are any indicator how scrumptious the Lasagna will be then i'm sold already! Only onlyyy downfall was the garlic knots, there was hardly any garlic or oil so it was more like eating a bread roll. But c'mon the real star is the main courses and i'd gladly have them focus their efforts into those!
