This is my first time in Portland and the first restaurant that I’ve tried while here. I ordered the lunch special and it was great. The lady that took my order was really nice and pleasant to me and everyone else that I saw walking in. The food portion was a good size. The chicken was moist and the vegetables were cooked perfectly with a little crunch. Not overcooked like some places. The highlight of my meal was the side of Gyoza. They were so good that I ordered 6 more after my meal togo! I will definitely come back for the good food and try something different next time but the kind lady taking the orders was amazing as well.

This is one of my favorite spots! I usually call in the order - the special which includes chicken teriyaki, gyoza (dumplings), rice and vegetables - and pick up to go. It's usually ready in 10-15 minutes which I think is pretty quick. This meal is a large portion and there are often leftovers for later which is great. The price is good, food quality is good, taste is good and the staff are friendly. I recommend this location and will be returning.

I wanted to have teriyaki and gyoza for dinner and mashita teriyaki was the closest place to me. They served up really nice chicken and it had a crunchy char to it and it was tender and juicy on the inside. It came with rice and vegetables. The gyoza was terrific too. High scores all around for this place. I was very happy with it. Thank you for the delightful meal.

Best sweet and sour chicken I've had in a long time

5 stars for price-to-quality ratio. I stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed.

They know how to cook good rice. It’s so important, good place, classic family joint.

If the price was a just a little cheaper, I'd eat here more often

Food was burned and there was no sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. The teriyaki pork looked so bad it was uneatable.

Very big portions. I recommend two people with small stomach like me sharing one dish. The chicken teriyaki was expectedly a bit too sweet. It was all good otherwise.

The chicken teriyaki with 3pcs gyoza is a great lunch deal, with enough food to make two whole meals for me! The chicken had a fantastic grilled taste and I liked the sauce, although I would ask for extra sauce next time. The sauce was drizzled over the chicken and there wasn't much that got to the rice beneath it.

First time here. Parking was very hard to get in and out. Was really busy for a small place to eat.

Can't say much about the Service or Atmosphere(not cause bad but I'm lazy and always just got it delivered by doordash) but the food is amazing, best Teriyaki and rice I have ever had, it's so damn flavorful yet somehow not way too crazy sweet, a bit yes but that's a good thing imo

The chicken teriyaki bento bowl was so good but the price was a little spendy for the amount of food you get and then there was barely any sauce on it so when I asked for extra sauce she told me it was an additional.50 cents which I thought was wrong and the lady that works the front was rude and I couldn’t understand anything she was saying and then she got upset at me but food was good

Came here multiple days during a conference. Very nice staff, food tastes great and is fresh. I got the chicken teriyaki plate each time.

Alright. Recommend teryiaki town just a bit east though. Bit friendlier, Give more meat, and $1 cheaper.

Hidden gem in NE Portland. Good hole in the wall that serves teriyaki chicken (and other food) at a good price. Definitely worth a lunch stop if you're near the Lloyd district and need a quick eat.

First time at this restaurant, the food was tasty and hot. The atmosphere is not that welcoming for dine-in.

My girlfriend and I got the chicken teriyaki. Vegetables seemed really low quality, broccoli was crunchier than expected. And the teriyaki chicken was alright, but nothing special. Food overall had a slightly weird taste to it.

My lunch go-to spot for some teriyaki food. The price is very kind with generous amount of food. If you are in a hurry, you can order ahead to get the food to-go as well.

I was really excited to see this spot in another location. Went to this location and ordered spicy pork, kimchi, shrimp tempura, and orange chicken. Kimchi was rotten and turned. No one checks this I suppose. It sits in a plastic cup with lid in fridge till its sold. Noone checked to see if it was still good. The spicy pork tasted horrible. Not spicy with little flavor. No grilled flavor. Very bland. The tempura was small and overfried. The chicken was soggy comparable to grocery store chinese food. IGNORE ALL OTHER REVIEWS. DO NOT EAT HERE. I repeat, DO NOT EAT HERE.

Tried this via delivery this evening and was pleasantly surprised after not having much luck with delivery/take out options. The chicken was very soft/tender/flavorful/charred and with just the right amount of sauce to be sweet but not overdone. I really enjoyed dinner tonight!

The food tastes great! Tipping is digital, which makes it easy for people that don't carry cash. I highly recommend if you're in the mood for some good, simple teriyaki.

Wow. Definitely one of my new favorite Teriyaki joints. Chicken Yakisoba was DELICIOUS. Meat had that nice char to it, teriyaki sauce is thick and sweet, nice ratio of meat/noodles/veg. Possibly best in town. Highly recommended!

Took a group of 10 family members and everyone enjoyed their meal.

I ordered the half chicken and half beef plate and it was yummy! The food was hot, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the beef was tender and the veggies were not soggy.

For $8.95 you get lunch special and a drink. Big portions, low prices. This place is solid, come and try. I highly recommend if you are looking for cheap teriyaki.

Quick service and their teriyaki bowls are tasty. All dishes I have ordered tasted good. What impressed me the most is the amount of meat you get in each bowl most places only give you a few pieces they give you a lot and the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get I stop here about once a week.

Definitely underated. So delicious and plates are generous!

My Mother, my lady and I stopped in today for the first time to have lunch. From The moment I met Angie (The owner), I enjoyed my experience at their restaurant. Angie was kind and welcoming. The food was excellent and we were slow to leave do to being so comfortable. We will be back again and soon. Visit this establishment as soon as you can.

I love this place I come in near least twice a week and I order food for me and my dog so we both love the Place is You'll spend about 12 but it's good food Only thing I would change is if I could get white meat from my chicken and pay extra that would be cool

Awesome! Probably one of the best teriyaki places I've been to.

Food is amazing and the owner(s) are always nice when I go in. I've tried different items on the menu, but the Chicken Katsu is by far my favorite. They always cook it fresh and it's always crispy. It pairs perfectly with their vegetables and rice (which is sticky and meant to be that way.) If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you do.
