Phenomenal food and huge portions

Great spot for breakfast. Fantastic food, friendly service, reasonably priced, nice quiet atmosphere.

Server Sydney was great. Good atmosphere.

The food was decent but we sat at our table finished with our meals watching our server hanging out, chatting with coworkers and looking at her phone for approximately 15 minutes. It was an annoying experience to say the least.

Matches Tavern is one Foxwood's little known gems. Delicious casual fare at reasonable prices in an elegant, dark wood pub style atmosphere. It is actually across the street from the casino in the down stairs of the Golf Club House. Ariana was our server. Friendly and professional. I had the Chicken and Bacons sandwich with Fries for $16.95. Great tasting & well priced. I highly recommend this place.

We went to a wedding and were in the ballroom upstairs. The views were amazing, as was the food. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Acoustics were also very good. Really nice event location.

Loved sitting outside enjoying the scenery while enjoying some cocktails and a light lunch. Recommend it.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Good quality, food portions and even serves on the patio with beautiful views across the lake. Open to public so don't need to be a golf member.

We sat at the bar for mire than 10 minutes listening to people talking in the kitchen, we had to literally loudly say “hello” to get someone to wait in us and again when we wanted our bill so we could get to casino to meet our friends. Not sure we will return, a little too laid back for us, we want to get in and get out! There was only 2 other people dining there and maybe this is why! Customer service is not present at this restaurant.

I'll say something about matches tavern that not enough people are talking about. This place has the best regular French fries I've ever had in my life. Firm, crispy, tastey and I finish them before I even start my meal everytime.

Awesome is all I can say. Their Reuben sandwich and their Hamburgers are out of this world ! I sat at the bar and had some drinks. Super good !

Great bar vibe, dark wood throughout the tavern. Plenty of TVs to view golf. Really good food, fantastic service.

Looking for a new breakfast spot? This was the most relaxing breakfast experience. What a view? Quiet with outside seating and a lake view. Everyone who works here is so happy to be here. That’s a sure sign that you are going to have a great meal. Extremely reasonable prices. You don’t have to be a member or even want to play golf to appreciate this beautiful oasis of peace and tranquillity.

Just stopped on a whim... looking for somewhere different for lunch. Had an excellent meal and the service was impressive! Sorry I didn't take a photo.

Ordered two of their Mother's Day take out meals. What a feast! We were so pleased with the creative menu, the delicious food and the enormous amount. Perfect starting and ending point to 18 holes. Eggscellent breakfast sandwiches. Great bloody marys too.

Matches is a very nice, casual bar. They have a simple menu of good food. My favorite is their BLT.

Excellent service, all staff pleasant and helpful. Food was great and price was family friendly. Atmosphere was more luxurious than one would expect. Bartender was very professional and informative!

Love this place. Hidden gem at the Foxwoods Golf Course Clubhouse. The food is fantastic. Super friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the lake. And an unbeatable cross-promotion when you join the MPTN museum as a member (which I did -- another place I love). What's more to say ...? I really like Matches ... and come here often. Check it out.
