Perfect tomato pie. Very friendly staff.

I just recently discovered Matteo’s from a friend and being a NY pizza lover I had to try it and it’s excellent. The service is good and quick and the staff is very nice. The food is good and the sauce tastes great. I’m looking forward to discovering their menu more deeply.

Absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly on a fresh seeded roll. The cheese was melty and onions were sauteed nicely. The PIZZA is the real star though. Top 5 best tomato pies I've ever had!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. Best Pizza/Tomato pie spot I've been to in years. All of the food I tried was phenomenal. Service was great as well.

I've worked a route in this area for over two years and picked up lunch here at least several dozen times since the new owners turned this spot around. Used to just be another pizza joint, and a kinda sad one. Can't even remember the name. Now Mateo's is easily my favorite place in town. Only rarely had time to sit down and eat here due to being on the job but the restaurant is always clean while the service is friendly and polite. The renovations they've done are simple but still a huge upgrade. The food is always tasty, filling, and well made. Additionally I almost always have a request to modify my order for dietary reasons which they've always fulfilled without trouble. Absolutely zero complaints on my end. Whether you're after delivery, a quick pickup, or to sit down in a nice place for a good meal you should consider eating here.

One of the best pizzas I've had in along time. I normally don't eat the crust of my pizza but I ate all the crust from this one and the pepperoni 🍕😋. I'll have some photos from my next visit ate it so fast I forgot 😭. But there was a good reason.

Mateo's makes fantastic pizza. There's nothing else to say. That said, we did try other things here too. Like the mozzarella sticks cheesesteak and Italian hoagie. And to be honest they were all fantastic as well. Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for a casual place to take the family. Service and atmosphere was wonderful as well.

Service is terrible. They said 45 minutes to pick up a pizza. We get there and they didn’t start it. Took almost 2 hours

Ordered a large tomato pie. And a cheese steak. I'm very pleased to say that this was the best cheese steak me and my husband have had in a long time. And the pie was just as good. Maybe a tiny bit more cheese. Overall very pleased. Will visit again.

This place is awesome. The staff is very inviting and attentive. All the food is absolutely delicious. My wife and I literally drive from the Philadelphia area to come here. It’s one of our favorite spots and we’re definitely pizza snobs. If this place opened up a shop in my neighborhood they would have a line out the door. We live in Delco (Delaware County Pa.) and the pizza game out here is horrible. You can just tell Mateo’s uses fresh ingredients for their pizza. We can’t wait to go back.

It's hard to find a decent Margherita Pie, but if you're searching just stop into Mateo's! I haven't had any pizza here that I can't brag about, but their Margherita Pie is especially delicious! The staff is friendly! The place is clean! It is always busy, but it's worth the wait! We always go back!

Absolutely Absolutely Absolutely terrific cheese steak. It was amazing. High quality meat, not a single chewy piece, high quality seasame bread, great service. It was so tasty and juicy. Been craving a steak like this for a long time and have been highly disappointed many times before. But not this time. It was juicy even when I ate the second half later on when it was cold. Gotta try their pizza next because it also looks amazing

Great food… but not what I ordered. They had a kid who was maybe 13 years old taking their orders over the phone (online ordering was not available due to site maintenance). I repeated my order back to him at least 3 times on the phone and thought he understood, but when I came to pickup my food they had my order all wrong. The child was the one who was working the register, and when I made him aware that my order was wrong he became defensive and said “well next time can you make sure that I repeat your order back to you? Can’t you just take this food instead?” He was incredibly rude and not trying to be helpful at all, while the adults who were working just stood there and did not offer any resolution. I ended up taking the food they prepared and it was very good, but that service was not acceptable. Keep in mind, the large pizza is actually pretty small so if you’re on the fence, order two. Was really disappointed in a place I had heard a lot of good things about. Bummer

We tried for the first time tonight and were so excited after hearing good things but the food ended up being awful. Order of $8 onion rings came with 4.5 total rings (see photo) meaning each onion ring cost us around $1.75. Pizza was so burnt it was almost inedible (ate some of it but throwing half the pizza away). Cheesesteak we ordered is also very crispy and over cooked. What a waste of $40 and our Saturday night dinner :(

I've only had the BBQ panini. It was ok. My wife got a cheese steak and my son got chicken finger, both were great. Would definitely go back and try the tomato pie!

Pizza was good, but a little burnt. The prices are not what are listed on their menu or online. I picked up and the total was about $5 more even with a credit card service fee and tax.

This is our new favorite pizza place in the area. Have had pizza 3 or 4 times from here and it’s been consistently good. Ordered delivery the last couple times and delivery time is slower than most other places, might just be because they are still kind of new and don’t have enough staff. Chicken fingers are very good, flavorful and juicy. The French fries are so so, not very crispy and kind of mushy. There is some room to improve but this is our new go to place right now.

We have a lot of great pizza places in the area, but Mateo's is my new favorite. There was another pizza place in the same spot here, but it changed hands in the past two years. If you haven't been for a while, I suggest going back. I've tried Lilos, Angelo's, Randazzo's, Little Shop, Francesca's, Sal's, Downtown, you name it.

The food was delicious. We ordered a pizza and two hoagies. Everything was great. We were over charged about $4. Even after factoring in a 3% charge for credit cards. The lack of transparent pricing is pretty annoying. If they have to raise their prices that's fine, but dont suprise me at the register.

Best tomato pie / pizza I've had. I guess it's as perfect as a pizza should be. Thin crust. Just right char to edge of crust. Just the right amount of cheese and a fantastic tasting sauce.

The BEST pizza in the area . Hands down. Mateos home tomato pie is so so good . Better than the competition in our opinion. Plus they are extremely consistent - they never have an off night when it comes to taste / cook. The ingredients are top notch and customer service is excellent. We’ve been disappointed by countless other pizza places in the vicinity, but once we stumbled upon Mateos we are happy to report we have finally found our go to spot . 100% recommend giving them a try , you won’t be disappointed!!

Mateo's tomato pie is one of the best I have had. My 21 year old son is very picky when it comes to tomato pies- and he said it exceeded his expectations. He loved it! Aside from the mouthwatering deliciousness of the tomato pie, the customer service was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Our new favorite place!

My wife ordered a tomato pie with pepperoni for pickup. I picked it up and paid $23. Found out later I was over charged $4.32. PIE WAS OVER DONE.

Drive the few extra minutes for this place- their pizza is spectacular. The ingredients are top notch. The sweet sauce is amazing with a spicy pepperoni, which is a little on the thicker side which we love. The crust is tasty. Try this place and support your local business. The tomato pie is great, our favorite in the area. Also their wings for takeout, in my opinion are hard to beat. I love the chicken parm paninis and cheese chicken/steaks. My wife likes their salads, the grilled chicken is good quality and flavorful. Portions are good and the delivery is within reason! Our new go to takeout place

Mateo's has become one of our go-to pizza places. The pizza is great. They even accommodated a last minute pizza party at the restaurant for 2 youth lacrosse teams mid week. EAT HERE!

Stopped in here for a quick, late lunch. Plan was to grab some slices so i could inhale them & scoot back to work. Walked in & looked at the pies on the rack. Wasn't a lot to choose from. One stuffed steak pizza and some basic one-or-two-topping choices. I went real plain. Tomato-cheese slice and a bell pepper + onion slice. Except for the stuffed option, all were thin crust, which i usually do not prefer. From the first bite to the last, these slices were delicious!!! The sauce had nice noticeable flavor, and it had to be the best thin crust dough i can remember experiencing!!:: Crispy on the bottom, perfect on the pie side, slightly buttery. It was kinda heavenly, honestly. And it's hard to get that kinda review from me. Rare chance i'll get back here, but if i'm ever in the area again I would go here on the regular. Great job! I woulda gave a 5, but the selections on ready-to-go slices was rather narrow for my liking. Too bad i can't give a 4.5. Otherwise, the pizza is 🔥🔥🔥

Today was my first visit to Mateo's. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Panini. It was delicious. Not greasy and with just the right amount of tomato sauce. Quality bread. Good bread makes a huge difference. Also, ladies room was clean.

I'm not kidding the best tomato pie hands down EVER. And I grew up in an Italian household where tomato pie was an every week occurrence. Trust me and try it even if you don't like tomato pie, it's not like any other I've ever tried.

Being a Sicilian and previous owner of my own pizzeria it's been a real struggle to find great pizza in this area UNTIL we discovered Mateo's. Fantastic dough, fresh basil, phenomenal sauce, not to mention a very friendly and super clean restaurant. The owner is awesome and greets every customer with a smile. Would I recommend?? Absolutely 1000%. Viva Mateo's!!

Pizza slices were really good...But when I ordered a pie , it tasted nothing like the slices I had...The slices were thin crust and the pie was regular cheese pizza. BUT OVERALL REALLY GOOD.

Really bad experience, they are robbing people, I ordered veggie sandwiches and they charged me $16 with soda,. Before ordering please ask for pricing.

Pizzas get 5 stars. Love the Mateo's special tomato pie and white pie. Also, their panini's are delicious. They get the bread thin and crisp with a perfect bite. Love the grilled chicken, roasted peppers, mozzarella, and balsamic. The french fries seem fresh cut, too.
