Everything was good except the salty fries, and their fries are my favorite. The grands loved it!

This place must be horribly micromanaged. The lady in front of me waited 25 minutes for just 1 sandwich. They are always out of everything, orders are often wrong. Trash bins are always overflowing in the lobby. They will park you to wait for your order then totally forget about you. I'm sure the picky eaters are why the lines are always so long and people making huge orders.. Inside looks weird. All grey ugly walls. Bathrooms are disgusting. Too bad McDonald's changed so much. Ordering inside will have you standing there forever. They don't have a cashier who's always at the register. Managers inside are yelling at their employees in the kitchen right in front of everybody. I feel sorry for them. They need to hire more workers and get better managers. The employees inside look over worked and very tired. I also don't suggest eating here too often or you might feel sick. The pie tasted terrible. So did the Big Mac.

Crazy how all the towns meth head and druggies work here lol like 2 or 3 people up there don't smoke meth that's it lmaoo and when Adrain Henderson was there he was stealing all kinds of stuff even money and the managers helped this store is a joke and should be looked in to asap

Smelled like roaches. Staff was NOT helpful at all!! The kiosk wasn't working right, or I did something wrong, but staff couldn't care less! I walked out after spending about 15 minutes TRYING to order.

My friend and I stopped here around 3:00 3:30 on June 23rd 2024 the food was cold. The cashier didn't even know how to take an order properly. I figured she needed more training. She was very polite. Just didn't know the procedure that went along for taking an order and giving it to the customer. Had to ask as for napkins, ketchup and mayo. All Ben's were empty. It's a shame, I worked for McDonald's for many years and our McDonald's the food was always hot and if not was returned back to us. I counted at least 7 people that worked in the rear of the store. The bathrooms were filthy and in the lobby all the trash cans were filled to the limit. Usually I stop at McDonald's when traveling, because the restrooms are always clean especially over the convenient stores. What's happening to McDonald's? When I worked behind the scenes, the fish sandwich should have been hotter and the bun steamed. (In the old days, we called that Q it.). We even gave out a curious card for a free item if the service was not up to standards or the customer had to wait too long. I was very disappointed. This McDonald's gives all McDonald's a BAD reputation.

Is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I have been here 3 times and yet the orders are never right. They’re always wrong. Also listen to the others reviewing this place. You do have to wait 30 mins on a nugget.

$3.29 for a large Tea!?! That's the last time I ever order one from McDonald's! RIP OFF!

Darn what happened to the dollar menu. 16$ for a medium combo is outrageous

I stop here every time that I go through Lake Butler, which averages about twice a month for about the last three years. I guess I've been lucky and never had all the bad experiences some others have had. I've eaten at McDonald's restaurants all over the US since 1964(I'm old) and can honestly say this particular one has the best food of all. Most of their restaurants seem to always overcook the food which gives me a dried-out meal. Thanks for being consistent for me.

If you want something fast and easy this is not the place to go expect to way 45 minutes to a hour just to get your order taken they are never timely and do not respond and will just have you sitting there and say nothing.

Great service, food, prices, and overall atmosphere, 5 stars, would highly recommend.

Your people are extremely rude and so is your management..I can spend my money else where the attitude you get by asking a question and the window slammed in your face yeah service sucks.

Sat in line 20 minutes for 2 ice cream cones and a Oreo Mcflurry. The oreo crumbs just dumped on top, not mixed in.

Plan to wait 30 minutes just to get your food. Even if you already ordered in the app & hardly any other customers are there. I will never understand how a fast food place can be SO SLOW!! They make good iced coffees but the food is usually cold and stale tasting.

Its 50/50 everytime i place an order wether they will get my order correct or not.

Waited almost 15 minutes to give them my order. However, Food came out quick enough. I believe that they prefer & cater to drive through or pick up order customers. Several people had to wait to order. Guess I need to learn to use the kiosk, to order. Food was Food as usual.

Alachua has great McDonald's service. Been there for years.

Got breakfast the other day the let 8 cars go infrint if me although I was the first 1 there my order was wrong "again" resulted in my being Kate to work over this also some 1 get them some new headsets cause apparently Noone can here what ya ordered

Never so friendly cold food and I guess they don't check the bag before handing it to you because I was missing part of my order at the cost of gas not worth turning around and heading back

Didn't eat here. Drive through line was long and slow. No one inside at the counter.

It's one of the only fast food places in town so expect a line in the drive through. On this trip the line wasn't very long but it was unusually held up. Food wise everything was good except the fries. They were over cooked and as crispy as a potato chip.

Drive thru has been really slow the last 2 days.

This location was clean, and well staffed, although staff was sluggish all was ok 👍

I mean it's a McDonald's and one of the only places in town, so it's honestly not terrible. It's definitely super busy on Thursday and Friday nights because of football games, but any other time is pretty aight

Food is always good and fresh, and the staff is very friendly at the drive thru.

I went to the drive-through which has double order lanes and they totally screwed up. They tried to charge me for someone else's order and tried to give my order to another customer. We both had a pull into a parking lot and wait and by the time we got it mine was getting cold but still decent. On the other hand, they admitted the screw up and comped the entire $22 dollar order.

Ordering a large shake look more like but that's what you get for your money today your order lies and get a small.

Here lately, The food has been good and hot.

The man working the drive-thru totally got my order wrong then when I asked him to get it right and adjust the money he said he could not that he had to wait on a manager and that would hold up the line it was a total inconvenience

This is always a drive thru order. Most times it's good however there are times it gets too slow but overall a good store.

Undercooked chicken nuggets!! You can make someone very very sick with undercooked chicken especially the kids that love nuggets and don’t know what undercooked chicken looks like!! Do better McDonald’s 😡

Good food. fast and friendly service

Standard small town McDonald's. If they're not swamped service is decent. About half the staff have manners, the other half acts like they don't know how to speak a lot of the time. Food is decent for fast food. Place is clean. Only real negative is the borderline rudeness of some of the staff, though as an update that seems to be changing, improving for the better.

I had a Mc Chicken bundle with small fries. It was great.

It is amazing, but I do eat the burgers really fast. But anyway, I love this place. Ba ba ba ba baaa

The staff actually said thank you when I paid and when I picked up my food. They acted like they liked 5heir job.

Check your orders. Carefully. If they mess up they have no intentions or interest in fixing the problem within you driving back to argue about it. And they bank on people just sucking it up and eating the cost both literally and figuratively.

This is probably the slowest and unorganized McDonald's I've ever been to in my life. I would give it negative five stars if I could. Been in the Drive-Thru for 40 minutes. And still got order wrong.

No service, no refills, rude staff... never again. Liquid all over the floor uncleaned.

The food was all jus thrower in a bag & the bag was ripped the whole way down the side to about 6inces from bottom of bag & then they threw that bag of food into a larger bag & the ripped bag was laying on its side & 2 of the box sandwiches were open & the fries were all mixed together wen 3 were no salt & 1 was with salt. This store is one of the most horrible stores that I've ever been to & I've been thru or lived in 33 different states & ate at a helluva lot of McDonald's & this place will be one that I never return to & ill definitely urge my friends & family & their friends to stay away from. They even argued about giving my money back & I wasn't waiting another 38 minutes for more food.

They're very nice. Sometimes I ride there just receive good customer service.

I wish the Gainesville stores were as amazing! Everything including the restrooms were super clean! All the employees were great and were actually enjoying themselves. Smiling, laughing, a great atmosphere!

The food was dry like it was setting out for a while

Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich. The bathroom was messy with toilet paper scattered about on the ground. Probably cased by the awkwardly placed dispenser being put so low. It appeared 2 managers were being interviewed/trained by another female in one of the testaurant booths. Took an extra bit of time to get my order than at most McDonald's I have visited.

No drink machine or tea urns in the lobby? Then the employee I spoke to seemed to have an attitude when I ask for my drinks.

Staff is always working hard and friendly.

If you like being shorted on sauces every time.... Go here. They'll be perfectly happy to ruin your meal. Let's not mention the soggy fries, the unwrapped burgers or the tea that tastes like bleach half the time.

Drive through closed at 9:45 posted closi g time 11:00 . No sign just traffic cones blocking the drive through with all the lights on. Some guy that didn't work there sitting in the parking lot saying they closed down because of the local high school basketball team?

It was amazing even if we had to wait on Fry's but the girl that brought out our food was super sweet and really nice

Very clean restaurant. Friendly crew members. My only complaint was that to get a refill of my drink, I had to ask a crew member rather than getting it myself.

Eating here during busy hours is extremely difficult; especially going drive thru. I enjoy the french fries and sandwhiches. Nice clean facility, with good seating and parking; a place to dine-in.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to in this country and other countries. Not only do they get the orders wrong, forgetting items, but the staff is so bad they literally didn't put the meat patties into any of the burgers. Epic fail

Sat in drive through for over ten minutes with no one to great the speaker. This is the third time this has happened. This place is pathetic. Just waiting until close so they don’t have to take orders. Corporate should definitely understand take over this location.

I had a really big order and they didn't bat an eye when I went in. Alisha made sure my order was complete and my drink was made right! Way to go!

We were visiting Gainesville and looked for breakfast. Trying a local restaurant was a great choice. Small and friendly. Fastnservice and great food!

Their coca-cola is always on point as are their fresh hot fries at the Lake Butler location!

Messed up on the order twice had to go inside very slow unorganized

Usually pretty busy during the day. A lot of oopsies in the beginning but they seem to have worked most of it out. Most staff are very friendly. Would suggest all persons at both windows ask order before taking payment and putting food out during busy hours as I keep getting charged for others things and not getting my order... it is a continual thing.

Every time I pass the through Lake Butler and make a stop here, the staff are all kind and genuinely seem happy. The food is also consistently good.

Nothing fast about this fast-food the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to Edit- after a year this place still sucks. The drive thru can be better than the lobby. McDonald's makes you order from the stupid kiosk, order is always wrong or missing things. Customer service is subpar.

Fries not warm, disorganized, sandwich bun ripped and not alot of meat.. 1st time here.. nope

My order was specified. Got home and it's Wrong. Trash can it went. People don't forget to check your order like I did.

Sometimes they are a wee bit slow. But I understand when it’s busy. Everyone is very kind and they always apologize when we have to wait a bit longer. I don’t mind at all. They always get my order right & they always smile , even under their masks. 😀

Garbage food. It is terrible for you.
