It was fun. They had a vegan option for the meal as well.

Great for the kids, huge meals, wish they would offer to donate half or do meal share, no one needs to eat a half a chicken. You really cube for the show and experience, not the food. They give the food funny names, the show is really entertaining for the kids, guys for the aspiring actors to get some practice. I won't spend money on the birthday package again for a picture with the queen and my name another it's too expensive.

I was concerned after hearing other reviews, but we had a great time. Took my 3 kids aged 19, 14 & 6 to celebrate my little ones birthday. She loved everything and wants to go back. We did the knighting and VIP seating. The food was surprisingly good and the show was entertaining. The boys really got into it, we almost lost our voice🤣

Date night/part of bf bday celebration wknd. We’ve been before and had a great time again. The vibe is campy fun (go black/white knight!). Food was good, seasoned really well (go on an empty stomach). The only con for me was that I was the only one to end up with a burnt potato but it was still good😆 No drinks this go round but only because the drink server forgot to come to us for over an hr, at that point I was filled up on lemonade from our server.

The VIP package is worth it. The little ones had a wonderful experience

I brought my wife here for her birthday. We had a blast shopping and watching the show. The food was okay, the seasoning on the chicken and potatoes was really good, but the corn was way overdone. The knighting packages were inflexible which was disappointing, she had to settle on a crown with gems she didn't prefer and they wouldn't let us swap in the same crown with different color gems. "it's not part of the package" is what the supervisor said when we asked. They could definitely do better in this area. Overall we feel like we spent our money well.

We had such a great time at medieval times! My son is 10 and has never been before and we had an amazing evening filled with memories! And it always always helps when your Knight wins! The food and service was great too!

We had the worst experience ever! The food wasn’t good, the service was terrible and the worst part was how the animals were being treated… the horses were visibly tired and drooling a lot! The person handling the falcon stepped on its tail so hard that feathers came out! Terrible experience! Do not recommend and never going back! Places that don’t treat their animals properly shouldn’t be allowed to have them!

There was lots of excitement and energy as everyone rooted for their favorite knight . Show: the theme was a medieval tournament with 6 factions competing in games of skill, jousting and sword fighting. The horses (real ones) and knights performed very well. My only complaint is that I couldn't understand what was said. At one point, one overly-exuberant knight decided to bend the rules and words were exchanged with the queen. Food: There was enough food for two meals, and a take home box was offered. The food consisted of dragon blood (tomato bisque,) baby dragon (1/2 small chicken,) byaked potato, and dragon poop (an eclair.) The wait staff were very attentive. My only complaint was that I couldn't understand a single word they were saying. We went early September and the place was pretty busy but not full.

I’ve been here five other times and I will say last night was a huge disappointment. Will not return, show was boring, non alcoholic drinks watered down, food only the chicken and soup was good. The corn was cold, the dessert was horrible, no one I seen around ate it. There was a lady sleeping in the bathroom that was creepy, not sure if it was part of the show but it was not Necessary if so, none of the other bathrooms had someone sleeping in it

It was a special afternoon out to celebrate my son's 20th Birthday. Medieval Times was the perfect place to go. Entertainment that you get to interact with, great food and plenty to buy in the souvenir shop!

The actors, energy, environment, and the food was AMAZING! The waiter that my wife and I had was horrible. His name was Ryan (long hair and glasses) and he served the Green Flag section. He was rude, not happy or energetic like the other waiters/waitresses, and acted like my wife and I were a problem when we asked for something or a basic question. The cake topper however... was when this rude individual deliberately and obnoxiously stood in our view of the arena; when the final battles were taking place, and demanded a tip. You simply don't do that. Anywhere. This individual person ruined the entire experience for us. This was our first visit and for sure will be our last. All other encounters with staff was wonderful. But, having this one negative ball of energy really pushed us away. We have warned family and friends about this person and the experience. In conclusion, if you get a waiter named Ryan (with long hair and glasses), you may want to ask to be moved to another row that will be served by another waiter or waitress. I hope this review helps others.

Expected a tourist trap wow these guys are great. Performers putting in 110% great food very entertaining. I am impossible to impress and I was very impressed. My wife's birthday was special and memorable. Thank you.

Place is very entertaining but the food is not the best.

As far as the meal goes, the chicken was cooked to perfection, but everything else was lacking. The corn was soggy, the potato wedge and eclaire were not giving. The venue itself has very potent smells both in the castle and the arena. It was a pretty good show, but it was VERY difficult to understand the performers. I've been to multiple shows in Atlanta and I've never seen the tournament so obviously staged. Still enjoyed it, but I think at the price point, I would expect a little better food experience.

Horses were beautiful, acting pretty cheesey. Seating was very cramped. Food wasn't very good and staff seemed overwhelmed. Children loved the place though.

This place is soooo awesome....they whole staff is very, it seemed almost personalized treatment...like you were the only one they focused on, even with a full arena seating...food is brought fast and efficient, very good..drinks are out of this world... Margarita on the rocks...the show is outstanding...just perfection in our experience ..we shall return...wifey and niece had crushes on the Black and white night, in our section..as well as the blue night...I couldn't compete...now 8 have to go buy a suit of armour..thx guys...hahahaha

Excellent show! There is plenty to do to keep you occupied while waiting to be seated. For seating, you are called by your crown color and table number so no need to rush the doors. Once inside you are seated and meal service starts immediately. We did the VIP package but honestly all of the seats are good. The servers are quick and efficient. The food was delicious! The show was fun and had lots of energy. The Knights are trained well and do a great job. Plus the horses are amazing to watch - keep an eye on the horses when the Knights jump off to fight, the horses know to head to the back by themselves! Great show and great experience.

My 7yr old and I loved the show . Food was good. Only thing I didn't like was the prices at the bar , with tip we ended up paying for a 2 regular glasses of Stella artois plus tip 45.00$ . Excessive for 2 beers .Some of the prices were too much on the merchandise as well ,but other then that I'm glad we went ! I had fun! Will go again just won't buy any alcohol lol.

Four stars only because of cost. The food was surprisingly good and fresh for such a large crowd. I'm disappointed that beer and wine are now not included with meal and soft drinks are limited to two. Show was very good and cast came out to mingle with the crowd for photo opp. If you go have room on your credit card as they have gone cashless and souvenirs and alcohol is expensive.

The food was good, although the chicken was a bit dry. They should do more than 2 passes for drinks. The bar staff came by ONCE and it was at the end of the meal. We would have gotten 2nd drinks but they never came so nope. The women's bathroom smelled horrible and the venue had just opened. This is a once a few years sort of place. It's a huge tourist trap. They charge for EVERYTHING. A picture by a roped off statue is $10..using your own camera. I feel like if they livened things up and got rid of the musty smell it could be better. The horses seemed a bit fiesty last night. It's a show for kids...us adults were meh by it. Our server (8/28/24) red zone table 4, was amazing. He could use a raise.

Didn't need to upgrade the VIP experience

first time there and bought a VIP package, sat next to the queen and had a knight that really interacted with us.

I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, although I was hoarse and had a sore throat after we left. Be prepared to eat with your hands, unless you ask for vegetarian, which is served in a bowl with a spoon.

This was a great experience for my family. Everyone loved it and was cheering most of the time. The safe is very kind and professional and the food was very good. If you are planning on going with family keep in mind it is only one meal they serve, but it is excellent!!

Pros: chicken was very good. The jousting was fun. The falcon was awesome. The sword fighting was okay. Cons: the soup was not good. The audio was bad, to the point where I could not tell you anything about the story.

This is a fabulous event. It was a surprise for my granddaughter birthday. We all had a amazing time.

Sit in the middle if possible. If you are in the end, you can not see. Very crowded, and you are up against the person next to you.

Witnessing the medieval times show was an unforgettable experience. From the magnificent horses to the jaw-dropping tricks, the performance was nothing short of enchanting. Although the fight scenes seemed a tad bit staged, the energy of the show made up for it. The show boasted an exciting combination of jousting, falconry, and exhilarating battles. The food was average, but the chicken was cooked to perfection and the dessert fell short of expectations. Despite that, I would eagerly do it all over again for the sheer joy of the experience!

It was a damn good show! People were really getting into it, and it made the atmosphere even more exciting when you hear the crowd chanting, etc. The only 2 things I didn't enjoy was that the food was alright, BUT the servers were really heavy on asking for tips at the end of the show. My server almost made me feel like I couldn't leave until I left something, and when I checked around only like 2 people within my lane tipped. Idk why I got hassled, but other than that show was good.

It's always a good time here. Food is really good, and the experience was awesome. It was a nice diversion from dealing with theme parks all of the time.

This was a great night out with a group! If you've never been, this is definitely something that you need to do if you live in Central Florida. The food is surprisingly good, and the staff are extremely helpful. I took off one star for service because the bartender did not come back around after we asked the wait staff twice for him to come back to us before the show had ended.

What an amazing night! Highly recommend checking out the show, and upgrade yourself to the Queen’s package because it is worth it.

Now that was an extraordinary and thrilling experience. The actors are really in character and you find yourselves immersed in the story and ambience as well. I did not like the food they served ( not a fan of roasted baby dragon) mostly because I am a pescatarian, however they did try to serve a vegetarian dish which was an experience I would never repeat. The corn or "dragon scales" were tasty. The servers worked very well with you and remembered any allergies you mentioned. We purchased the VIP Royalty ticket where you get a free picture, tour of the castle and other perks. At the end of the show, you get to buy some merchandise and take pictures with the willing actors/knights who are literally on the floor smiling while sweating profusely in their costumes. Luckily enough, I did not smell any hint of medieval era odors. Medieval Times entertainment really makes someone feel like you are a resident of that era. Next time you're in town, visit Medieval Times, choose your house and make some noise to cheer it to victory or death. Strongly recommended!!!!!

Nice place to visit maybe twice food was OK little disappointed since price is on the high side portions are not to much and dessert was bad a little piece of cold donut with some chocolate frosting it was very cold and tinny, show was great. But drink prices ridiculous

This was so much fun! Highly recommend for kids and adults!

We have been about 5 times now. This time there were a lot of changes to the menu and the food was awful. They serve a half of a roasted chicken, corn on the cob, half of a potato, tomato’s soup and garlic bread to start and dessert. The soup was very watered down, the chicken was super dry, the potato was left in the oven too long and was too salty and spicy to eat. The corn was ok but borderline gummy. They changed the dessert from the apple turnover to a chocolate eclair that was cold and old. Despite all of that the show was good as usual and our server was amazing as they always are. It’s a fun time for sure.

This place was much better pre covid. Like many businesses it looks like they sacrificed some quality while raising prices to an alarming degree. The food was okay. The show could be better but wasn’t bad. Its good if you go there while on vacation but there’s no way businesses will be able to make up for lost profits from covid, so please drop prices. Ticket prices are a little too high right now. Make prices in line with value and this destination will be great again!

Let’s start by saying we are exceptional tippers. We were blindsided by a $160 charge for our hotels parking. And we’re only in town for the show. So that blew all of our fun money. …Once the show was over the waitstaff came around to collect their tips. On their card it has a place where they can write in their cash app (our waiter left it blank) or you could pay cash. There was also signage that stated tipping wasn’t compulsory. Considering our situation we couldn’t even if we wanted to. This didn’t stop our waiter from coming to our table and leaning over and demanding “Is there a reason you didn’t tip?!” We felt no obligation to explain what had happened to us to this random NPC. So we politely said no. He continued on! “So what was it?! My service?! The food?! What?!!” We looked at each other and couldn’t believe he was (literally) in our faces berating us. We could barely get a word in edgewise, so we kept it polite, until he ran out of steam and walked away. When we thought it was all said and done- nope! He waited for us by the exit. (He didn’t say anything to anyone else) but when we walked past him, he yelled in a heavy sarcastic tone: “YOU GUYS HAVE A GREAT NIGHT!” And when we didn’t respond, he followed up with “A REALLL GOOD NIGHT!” [tipping is for GOOD service. It’s evident this guy doesn’t deserve it. Im glad we were out of cash!]. You’ve been warned. They get hostile.…

Overpriced, VIP is not worth it, just pay bare minimum to see it.

I’m very disappointed that I bought 4 VIP tickets, full price other a promo code I found online. When reading the website, it states that you can tour different areas etc. That was something that my family was looking forward to. We get here, when the doors open thinking that we could look about prior to the show-only to find out everything was closed. Of course the gift area and the bars were open as they generate additional revenue. You can’t go into the area until 15 minutes before showtime sooooo just wander around and bored and disappointed! Very disappointed there was NO mention of renovations or discounted prices for a discounted experience! Shame, shame shameful!

Fun night out, definitely entertaining. The only big issue was that sometimes you couldn't understand what the actors were saying, could use a better sound setup. But still a great time, especially for families

Firstly it was overall very good. We bought the priority (Royalty) upgrade and it wasn’t worth it. There’s no bad seats. We ended up at the end of a row which wasn’t what we expected after upgrading. The food is extremely messy but good. We’ve a 6 and 8 year old and they didn’t eat it, there’s no kids food or portions. It was a bit poor that the server interrupted a knight fight scene to explain the gratuity expectation!

The show is fantastic, the place is very organized the server were really friendly, I really enjoyed everything about this place.

Super fun experience in Orlando, would definitely be a fun thing to do with kids, but probably better if not super young. We really enjoyed the show, rooting for a team and the food. My boyfriend has a severe dairy allergy and was able to talk to the server about his options which was great!

I went with a friend for their birthday and we cosplayed as link and zelda from Legend of Zelda. It was worth getting the VIP package and getting knighted. We were able to chat with the Queen and had an overall amazing time.

They provided a wonderful night for my son’s birthday. It was memorable and the food was delicious. They also honor military with discounts. ❤️them. You won’t regret going.

The "Castle" itself was amazing, Parking was tight, but the castle the welcome, the shop and bars were great. The show itself was entertaining and food was great! My son loved it even though it was rowdy he got into it! I look forward to going again!

This place is Awesome lol! It had been over 20 years since I have been to Medieval Times as a kid and I can’t believe how great it still is!! You cannot beat this dining experience especially for kids in the 5 - 12 age range but is really a good time for all. Food is basic but really good and they are very efficient with the way everything is served. Cannot believe I forgot about this place, will definitely come back more often.

It was kind of expensive for what it is

So much fun! Dinner was surprisingly good for as many people as they had to feed. Quite a feat! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing! You have to play along if you want to get your money's worth. It's very loud and chaotic, if you have trouble hearing this might not be for you.

What an awesome time. My wife and I came while we were on our wedding anniversary celebration and loved it. The food was great and the actors were awesome. We'll be returning with our kids as a whole family....definitely recommend this show.

What beautiful and FUN experience! The ticketmasters, the wait staff (Savannah is a gem!), the riders, the horses, the decor..it was all perfect! I loved seeing how much praise the riders gave their horses after performing. It was a wild and lovely night and I will definitely catch more shows in the future!

My first time ever going to something like this and it definitely will not be my last! I really enjoyed myself and my grandkids as well!

Fun. If you have young boys--fun! Sit in a/c and relax! For the price--dinner and a show-- it's delightful. Enthusiastic knights and other actors. Cute stuff. The vip royalty section is worth it. Great action views. The food exceeded our expectations. The chicken was juicy. The cola soft drink tasted off. 5-9 years old might be prime age for enjoyment for kids--our boys liked the jousting and pair fights-- or any medieval loving person will probably delight in it.

A different and special experience Eating with hands like in the Middle Ages. while watching knight battles. It was difficult for us to understand the plot, the language and the accent were difficulties for us to fully understand. The food was ok, nothing more. Relative to the price, we expected more in terms of food.

Great show food was great be prepared to eat in the dark

We went here last night 7.25 for the 5pm show, and it was awesome. First time there and we are planning on coming back with the whole family of 12. Everything was epic for us. One regret is forgetting to stop by photo area to buy photo of my daughter with the ribbon as queen of the red tournament. Only thing I can say I that did not like too much was the seating arrangement. Everyone to close together at table. Everything esle was great.
