Thai food was really good and authentic, I would highly recommend. They are also so welcoming and nice.

Small dining area, amazing food and service. Drunken noodles, satay, Tom yum, noodle soup - all excellent meals. We didn't finish the large plates, and the staff added extra sprouts for the take home so that they would be fresh and crispy when we reheated. Amazing service.

No. Got take out last night. It was not good. 5 crab rangoons for $10 is not it. And who cuts spring rolls like maki? But most concerning of all, this is the only business who got my debit card info yesterday, or the last four days, and coincidentally some scammer in NY used my debit card number 2 hours after ordering food here, and robbed me of over 2k. This business is shady, and the food sucks. Use cash if you're going to deal with them.

Some of the best Thai food around. So much flavor, great portions. Highly recommend the Pepper Steak, Chicken Wonton Soup and the Satays!

We were visiting the area for the weekend from Boston and luckily found this place for dinner one night. The food was absolutely amazing, the best pad see ew we’ve had and the service was excellent. The owner was so kind and even offered us some cooking tips. A must if you’re in the Kennebunk area!

Delicious food. Partner got the Pad Thai and I got the red curry. I ordered a 2/5 for spicy and I found it perfect. Came with a side of rice. The picture makes the bowl look smaller than it was.

Food was good! I’ll be back since it’s only 5 minutes from home. Don’t think they’re use to having people sit and eat. Waiter didn’t seem too happy I was eating in. But he was attentive and took good care of me.

A nice, relaxing atmosphere to enjoy good Thai cuisine. We enjoyed the fresh shrimp spring rolls to start, followed by Hot Basil Leaf with Tofu and the Orange Tofu dishes. Great service, reasonable prices, nice location

Had lunch here with family a few months back and while everything was good(for the most part), none of our shrimp had been properly cleaned or de-veined. Our shrimp had giant poo trails sticking out of them. Service was professional, but not particularly friendly or warm so don't expect that. We assumed it was due to the stress of lunch time and demanding clientele. We did not complain and carried on with our day.

While vacationing here, we decided to order Thai takeout. You know as well as I, Thai restaurants are hit or miss. Well, this one is a home run! I ordered Green Curry with vegetables, with a D spiciness level with level E being the most spicy. My wife ordered Drunken Noodle with chicken. she and I both agreed, both meals were the best of its type we ever tasted. Vegetables were cooked just right, not too hard nor soft, and the flavor was superb. Chicken was tender. Food temperature was hot. Good job.

Stopped in here for lunch. I ordered a shrimp pad thai. It was exemplary. I have had pad Thai from a dozen places and this has been the best by far. The amount of shrimp was impressive as well.

My dad has to eat low-sodium, and it's very challenging to get take-out food for him. The folks at Mekhong Thai have accommodated us by giving us advice on what to order and then adjusting the sauces in our orders to make them lower sodium! I know this poses a risk for a restaurant, because they know their food will not taste as usual, but it makes all the difference for us, and my dad loves it. Thank you, Mekhong Thai!!

Great food and really friendly, helpful staff.

My favorite Thai food place hands down. Everything is so fresh and tasty, cooked to order. They use quality ingredients in the dishes. Their Crab Rangoons are the best i ever tasted. Small dine in area creates an intimate atmosphere for a lovely experience.

Food was amazing! Server was very personable! Price was great for all 4 of us to eat :) it was a nice little hidden gem. We could tell they served mostly the locals so we were happy to be welcomed in as someone not from the area!

As always, very good dishes...but unfortunately we received a chicken dish instead of the ordered shrimp. I am sure the Mekhong crew will make it right next take out.

Excellent food for very reasonable prices. One star down for not having a sign saying that parking was free for customers. Paid extra $20 to park in the lot upfront as per lot instructions, only to realize that it ended up being an overpayment for the otherwise excellent meal.

Ordered take-out from here, first time. Was less than impressed. The curry was the worst I’ve ever had. Appetizers were good however I felt a bit pricey for what you get. Honestly surprised by all the raving reviews. To each their own!

Such a warm hospitable place to eat. The food was delicious and the staff was so warm and friendly. Every dish that we ordered was served hot. And especially it was nice since it was cold outside. Definitely will be visiting again.

The environment here is very nice, especially with the repeat customers. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I have to say that they make the best peanut sauce. The Thai tea was good and always a treat. I got Pho, or Beef Noodle Soup as it says on the menu. The broth flavor was good and plenty of meat and noodles to fill a hungry stomach. It is a face paced restaurant due to increased customers and lack of employees. Remember to be patient as it is worth the wait. Enjoy your meal.

Pad Phed string beans with pork was very good. They have an interesting A-E spice scale. I tried C, which had enough heat for me. Similar to a 4/10 from Thai restaurants in California. The Tom Kha Gai was too sweet for me though.

Friendly staff, and the food was delicious and fast. We ordered take out, didn’t realize pretty much every food place in this town closes at 9pm, so we were very happy to find they were still accepting take out orders at 8:45pm. The Chicken Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were both great!

Absolutely amazing food at very reasonable prices! Would highly recommend the pad see ew (less sweet and more complex flavors than I’m used to!), the dumplings, and the meekrob noodle. It was Memorial Day weekend, so there was a long wait (60 min), but the food was ready when they said it would be!

What a hidden gem! The food was sooooo incredible. I know most come to Kennebunk for the seafood, but this is worth your time!

I don't know if pandemic have certain places being so nonchalant... I am a regular there they should know me by now and this been 4 or 6 months since ordering from over there the new that I was allergic to shellfish and I had to make sure when I came over to the door that they had the right order and they made a mistake on that so I had to wait a little longer

We ordered take out on a Sunday during the pandemic. With the pandemic It is doubly, no triply hard to provide great tasting food plus successfully pack it for travel plus have a decent online ordering system for ordering and paying for the food. Mekong Thai gets 5 stars on all 3! They are the Amazon of take out in the Kennebunks!

An all time favorite!! I just love this place. Everything is delicious!

First time trying food from here. I ordered delivery for the Beef & Meatball Pho. The broth comes in a tightly sealed 32oz container. A separate container has the usual Pho fixings: rice noodles, bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, etc. The broth smelled amazing and was aromatic with a good amount of flavor. Add a bit of sriracha and hoisin to taste and you'll have an amazing Pho. The meats were a bit disappointing. It came with two meatballs which were quite firm. They have a lot of flavor but the flavor itself is a bit strange. Not in a bad meat kind of way, just that it doesn't really pair well with the broth, for me at least. The beef arrived precooked well done and cut quite thick. It was really chewy and not very enjoyable. I would have much preferred some thin slices either raw or very rare that you can add to the broth. Overall it was very good. I'd say skip the meat on the Pho and get a small side if you're hungry.

My wife and I went here and were blown away. Quality of food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. We are at 3 other places in dock square and would vote this place #1. Stacy talked to us after our meal and the whole experience was just top notch. Food was absolutely fresh and amazing. We are coming back here every year.

Good but not as good as Wells Mekhong Thai DEC 2019 EDIT: Change from 4 to 5 stars. The Wells location has gone downhill and upped their prices and the one in Lower Village has the best seafood green curry I have ever had!

Very good Thaī food! The personnel is very friendly also. A good find in Kennebunk. Also, there is parking nearby, so, unlike other places, we don't have to walk long before getting there.

Delicious Thai food on the coast of Maine. I had the sweet and sour tofu. It wasn't spicy and that is ok, they don't have the standard spice tray but did bring out a spice sauce. It was perfect, added just enough heat and flavor. The prices were so reasonable as well, comes on my recommendation list. There is free parking for patrons as well.

Really good change of taste after meals of lobsters. We came in around in an Wed afternoon. It was not crowded at all. Tom Khai Gai, Drunken Noodles, Chicken Pow, Steamed Dumplings, and Ginger Ice Cream are very satisfying. It will be great if Tom Yum could be spicier and if they could turn the AC on a little more. It was still pleasant, but I personally prefered more air flow. Forgot to take more photos because they were very yummy and we couldn't stop once started!

Small place, good service. Good food. Tender chicken, good noodles. Not spicy, next time we crank it up a notch, or three.

This is easily the best Thai food restaurant in Maine! Their food is high class and quality. I have never been disappointed in anything they serve. A bit pricey but well worth the eating experience. I recommend the Green Jade to any vegetarian friendly people!
