Awesome place to take the little ones. Delicious ice cream.

Looked like a really cool place at first glance. After about 15 minutes of looking around, found that their prices of almost everything was really high. Purchased some chocolate milk and muffins. The chocolate milk was nothing but white milk with a little chocolate syrup in it, seemed very watered down. The muffins very not much better.

Farm fresh ice cream!!! And it’s in the Pennsylvania “Scooped trail”. So you can go there - get amazing ice cream and homemade baked goods and points for free giveaways! Win -win. Take a tour of the grounds and see some animals. Great place!

Place was overpriced. The baked goods was worse than hostess and 5 times the price. The ice cream wasn't anything to write home about either. If you are handicapped, stay away. There is 1 handicapped spot but is useless because nothing is paved. The place also doesn't have any bathrooms, only porta-potties. Save your money, if you want ice cream or baked goods, go to grocery store and pickup up some twinkies and ice cream.

Nice place to spend time with kids. This place has Goat, Sheep, Donkey, Pig, Rabbits , Peacocks and Cows to watch. There is no entry fee. Fresh vegetables, Fruits and plants are available for purchase. While there were a lot of Ice-cream options available, we tried 4 flavors. Peach and Black raspberry Ice-creams were very good. We ended up buying half gallon tubs on our way home .

My son is 16 years old and worked a 4 hour shift training as a new employee. At the end of the day my son learned that he would only be on schedule 1 day a week for 4 hour shifts so he informed that he wouldn't be coming back . He was sent home with a W-2 and I called Leah the lady that trained my son for the day he worked. I asked her if I should drop the W-2 off to her so he can be paid for that day of training ? She told me that she does not pay employees for the first day that they train. No where in the pamphlet for new hires does it say anything about not being paid for the first day of training and I have a photo at the bottom of this post circled in red where it explains what goes on during training. I asked her what is the difference between his first day of training and 3rd day of training etc. My son learned the POS system that day cleaned up his station, made ice cream cones, ice cream creations, dealt with customers etc. I gave her a chance on the phone to realize that what she was doing was very illegal, especially with my son being a minor and was told that is the way they've been doing it for years. I cannot imagine other mothers letting them get away with that. I called the Better business bureau and made a formal complaint with Department of Labor and also the child labor laws department. I can't imagine the place that we would always go to for Halloween and holidays and get ice cream is willing to lose a family and everyone else that I tell about the situation over a 4-Hour shift of a 16- year -old kid.

We have been coming here since I was small and now I bring my child. It’s a wonderful place. I haven’t down the Halloween event in a long time, but there is more too it than obviously decades ago.

We’ve bought produce here for a couple of years and it has always been good - fresh corn, fruit. Went inside to check out the store and get hubby some ice cream. He said it was good but it was $5 for a little tiny cup! The baked goods looked pretty good, and they also had some beautiful planters outside. Everything here is pretty pricey though, so we passed on buying anything but some peaches. They also need to do better regarding handicapped parking. All but one space was taken over by pallets of product, or barriers making a line for the ice cream window. This is not even legal to do.

i love coming to this place. the ice cream is amazing. they also have a little market where you can get pastries and a bunch of other stuff and they sell flowers too!! you can see the cows and feed the goats and donkey

We got their “triple berry loaf” and read the ingredients because I have a tree nut allergy. I almost ate it when my mom started tasting/spitting out walnuts. They were throughout the loaf. I can eat food that has been processed on the same equipment, just not IN the food’s ingredients. VERY disappointed. It could’ve cost me my life, or someone else’s. (We wrote on the front after the walnuts were found) It’s a shame because we liked their food, but it is not safe for people with food allergies.

Amazing place for family gatherings

Ordered a vanilla soft serve. My daughter said it tasted wrong. I tried it and it was grainy....maybe the machine was not mixing it properly that day.

A delight! 10/10 for quality. They have scooped ice cream as well as gallons, ice cream cakes, milk, etc. They also have a large selection of baked goods, sauces, jams, etc. I visited in winter but I am told they have a nice garden area in the spring and a petting zoo. I look forward to my next visit.

Not so good. Went for ice cream and shake, none tasted good. Lots of gums and expired ice cream products. Also each item has egg in their store. Low quality indicator. Don’t have grass fed milk. Cows need more love and maintenance it seemed. Thanks but I would appreciate if they had more egg free and dairy fresh items.

For the first time today, I read the ingredients on a few of the Merrymead ice cream tubs. I was shocked at the number of stabilizers and additives in each tub of ice cream; some flavors had high fructose corn syrup, etc. Now being aware of so many additives, I no longer have any desire to eat what I used to consider a treat. I hope they can change their recipe to create a more wholesome product, as other ice cream companies have done. Many people these days care about what they are putting into their bodies.

Awesome place to go with your kids! Clean, well organized and good products to buy in the shop, and I didn't mention the amazing milkshake! Oops, actually I did it!

Apple pie to die for . Served cold or heated with some ice cream. Just heaven . Thank you . Worth every penny . My daughters work gave out your pies to their workers. We had a piece and made another trip to get some more . Definitely use the call ahead feature next year. But store was fine and many options and quick lines. Even checked out the Christmas ornaments and wreath area too . Very reasonably priced items .

Great ice cream lover the pumpkin flavor. Fresh milk plenty of desserts to pick from including ice cream cakes. Farm animals year round.

At Merrymead Farm, you can not go wrong with the massive variety of homemade choices to shop around for in their cute shop that include candies, frozen treats, essential goods, and other assorted snacks. In other words hard work pays off and the pleasure was all mine with my visit here at Merrymead Farm!

Lines are long, but worth it! Kids have a lot of fun here! Wish they had more for younger kids and babies!

On Friday 13th, I went for the corn maze, a maize maze, if you will. It was the best corn maze I've ever done, and I highly recommend it. As always, the ice cream and baked goods were phenomenal.

Fun filled experience with the family, kids loved ❤️ the animals and Hayride, the store had the best apple crumb cake and pies.

So Merry Mead Farm has been around since I was a kid and probably long before they have animals you can see and feed they have wonderful ice cream flowers etc normally but today we went for the fall festival and it was really nice we did a hayride on a gorgeous piece of property that is part of the farm I just never had been that far back before and it's absolutely gorgeous they had a huge corn maze as well as a little faux "stream" for mining gems that my daughter loved complete with your bag of silt that you sift through in their"stream" to find the gems hidden in the bag that you buy I bought a $10 bag and there was quite a few nice rocks and gems in there I was surprised pleasantly that there was so many definitely recommend anytime of the year but it was a nice little festival not too big not too crazy give it a shot if you want something that's more family-oriented but not overwhelming

Great place to bring your little ones. We went here a couple of years ago. Made great lasting memories. We enjoyed the hayride the most.

Nostalgic place. They don’t make their own ice cream anymore. The animals look neglected. Especially the donkey, goats and sheep.
