The food was good, and the lady came out and took our order quickly, but never came back after that. I had to stop a waitress, that was serving another table to get a refill. Also I had ordered a chicken torta. I didn't see anything about an upcharge for ordering chicken and she didn't say anything, but when I got my bill, they had added an extra $3.00 for chicken. I do not think that is a good way to do business.

(LOL Taco Bell could never) I am so happy I visited this restaurant; I'm now a frequent regular! The cashier was pleasant & graciously answered my questions about the ingredients. I received a generous portion of soup: Caldo de Res, impressed by the fresh vegetables (not too soft nor too crunchy) just perfect (carrot, corn, green beans, potato, eggplant and savory cuts of tender beef) in a delicious broth. I also ordered tasty sides & a chicken burrito, pleased to discover the many accompaniments: fresh tortillas, sour cream, melted white cheese, sliced ​​limes, lots of finely diced purple onion, cilantro, both red and green salsa, all neatly prepared to go . (I enjoyed it all!) This restaurant is a testament to the caring, talented love of Mexican cuisine! I enjoyed every detail of my meals and I encourage you to make it your new favorite place. God bless this business and everyone who makes it possible! I am very happy to have visited this restaurant and will be a frequent customer! Delicious food, fast service, very cute little restaurant

We were excited to try this restaurant since it became a Mexican spot, but we were sadly disappointed. The birria tacos were okay, but the pastor tacos were probably the worst I’ve ever had . Couldn’t even finish them . Not to mention they tasted like they were days old. Gave them 2 stars because they have a large food selection so there may be something else on the menu that’s good. But it’ll be a one and done for us. Especially at the not so cheap price point.

I have to make a 5 star review because I want to do everything I can to support this restaurant and make sure they never close because this is hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had in the U.S.

Their Taste is Extra Special Outstanding! Just a Traveler thru, and stopped at The Place. Ask for the cinnamon coffee, Cafe de Olla. So many Mexican Restaurants do NOT offer Tres Leche, 3 milk cake, they DO! Never had Tres Leche Chocolate, usually it is Vanilla Cake 🍰 Please, stop in, and treat yourself!

A first-time take out order on Taco Tuesday turned out to be my favorite authentic Mexican cuisine! To my delight, the much more cost-effective Taco 🌮 Tuesday surprised me with 4 of the best chicken tacos instead of the expected 3! In addition, the Pollo Tamal I ordered to guage authenticity did not disappoint me! The flavors, firmness of the tamal, and the chicken definitely were homemade vs. canned. The added sauces, too, were awesome! May I add this for future patrons ? Shame on you if you ever order from Taco Bell across the street again! This is now a favorite, and I can't wait to try the other delectable dishes on their menu! ¡Muy bien, Mi Gordita Loca❣️

First day the service was horrible 😔 but the food was good so a come back the next day service was good also the food was good 👍😊 If I have a chance I will come back The first day I went the service was terrible. I returned the next day and the service was totally different, it improved a lot. And the food was still good, really if I have a chance I will return.

Still waiting on the owners and Google to fix the “technical glitch” with the reviews. Stand by your product and service. Don’t try to ride the coattails of another business’s good reviews and misfortune. Very shady to have your company’s logo and response to reviews that were for another restaurant. Some of them even have pictures of Indian food in them. We did place a to-go order not long after you opened and we were not overly impressed. We would have gone back to eat in the establishment and given it another try if it weren’t for the above mentioned practices.

We really enjoyed the flavor of the slow cooked beef and sauce appetizer. The prices are on the high side,so you may want to see if they have more affordable lunch specials. We spent $71 for the two of us.

I ordered three burritos and had no complaints from anyone. Service was great! I will go back to try something different or new!

The food was delicious. There should be more lettuce, onion, and tomato served as a side of the plate. The "pico de gallo" salsa for the nacho chips should have fresh cilantro and more lime juice. The drink lids leak too easily from the rim.

Ordered the Birria tacos and the Elote and they were AMAZING. So flavorful and juicy. I will be back to try more!

It’s really good. But, the portions are small. We have gotten tamales and tacos and for the price they are really small.

Worst Indian food I have ever had. Everyone got sick for days and the owner kept saying "we don't even make Indian food!" If that's true, why are there so many reviews of the Indian food? We liked the old Indian restaurant that was formerly at this location, but decided to give the new Mexican restaurant a chance for takeout. I’m so glad we did. Even our kids approved! The facility is still very clean and you can tell they take pride in their new establishment. The food is just as good as (or maybe even better than) the nearby Mexican food truck, which is another local gem. They have slightly different styles which make dining at both worthwhile. The birria, chicken, and steak soft tacos were great and flavorful. The torta was excellent. The chips seemed to be seasoned with tajin, which is a unique and delicious touch! We will be back and hope that this restaurant is here to stay.🤞🏼

Personally, I don't think this is a good location for any eatery as it too small and cramped. Didn't work well as Indian either. The big screen TV "blaring" MTV is so out of place. Why not carry out Mexican theme with Mexican music. Server was nice food was very good.

I haven't had good Indian food since I left Cincinnati. I have tried it all over the country in my travels and been disappointed. This food was simply amazing. I had Mater Paneer. They made it for me even though it wasn't on their menu. It was the best Indian I have had in over 20 years.

I took cooking classes in India. This is what I expect from an Indian restaurant. The food is fantastic. I have not had a bad meal from there. When I’m driving through Umatilla I put an order in for pick up. Delicious.

We'll certainly be back! All the great reviews are not exaggerated. Our lunch last week consisted of veggie samosas and a shared lamb karma combo, perfect proportions for two for lunch. Lamb was deliciously tender with perfectly matched sauces. So glad to have this wonderful restaurant right here. Immaculate dining area and kind and friendly service. Many thanks.

Amazing food! In my opinion it's the best Indian food in the area. It's primarily a take out place, but they have tables as well.

I ordered once in Uber and it was absolutely amazing. I called and placed a pickup order this afternoon. I walked in and paid , I did have to wait due being extremely early to get this amazing food but the restaurant they have is very lovely. It has a very soothing/calming atmosphere and the food is absolutely out of this world And the portion they give can feed two people! I will definitely be returning!

Heard good things & been meaning to stop in. This place will not disappoint! Started with spinach dip- yummy! Had korma, butter chicken and spinach chicken last night. All were amazing! Authentic food, clean atmosphere and reasonably priced. Our server was patient while my friend debated for 10 minutes about his heat level 😂 Will be back!

What a little gem! Menu is only dinner portions, but go for lunch and ask for a lunch portion. Plenty of space to eat "in". It isn't just takeout as the name seems to indicate. Spice levels are for real!! So far we have had, Lamb Makhani, Shrimp Korma, Chicken Korma, and Butter Shrimp. All excellent

Absolutely delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and descriptions. Food was wonderful, authentic and fresh. Naan was fresh and tender. There is only one other Indian restaurant in the area, and this place blew their "competition" out of the water. It is worth the drive to order from here again.

Easy to miss, small operation, hands- down the best plate I've had in years. Modest yet modern interior, laid-back atmosphere, owner and staff were attentive and receptive. Great people making phenomenal food- house-made Naan and chutneys were excellent. A friend and I had chicken saag, lamb Tikka masala, tandoori chicken. Each was with our preferred level of spice and ALL 10/10!! Will be back A LOT in the future, especially since the lunch menu prices are a steal.

I love this place. Great food, and good service. I have been here a few times and enjoy it more with each visit as I get to know the menu better. They also serve a small lunch buffet, which I have not yet tried, but will soon.

This was one of the best meals I've had in a while. In debating on whether to take leftovers home, I decided no way. I couldn't stop eating it!
