5/5 Everything and everytime is amazing I need the recipe to everything 😫

Went with Michael's to cater a party, everything was excellent! Person taking my order on phone was able to clearly explain the options available along with detailing the delivery process, etc. The food itself was outstanding, We had sausage & peppers, chicken parm, penne vodka platters, all were excellent. Price was reasonable and delivery was on time, and very good helping with setup. Would gladly use them again for catering.

Great food but I find them highly unorganized.. called 2 weeks before Xmas Eve to place an order for Xmas Eve. Was told to call the week of to place the order.. Called Monday morning and was told the cutoff for Xmas Eve was the past Saturday 😳. I begged and told him I was to call the week of.. He didn’t want to hear it and said good luck and laughed. He then hung up on me.. I was referred to them by a friend who is a cousin of theirs. I haven’t told him about my experience. But will

Great deli. We had a chicken parm and vodka parm. They were incredible. Also had a tiramisu that was heavenly. Service was incredible. They also have other Italian products I want to try.

First time at Michael’s Salumeria today. Found it by accident. We were just driving by and saw the panettones on display through the window. We bought a chicken Parmesan sandwich, etc. Great taste. Excellent service. We’ll be back for sure. 👍

I was a loyal customer since 2019. I would frequent Michael’s 2-3 times a week. However last year I got food posioning from their vodka sauce, which to me is completely unacceptable.

Fantastic Italian everything!!! Period

1) Great food. 2) great staff. I've had their catering a few times at my party and other parties. It's very good. Today I was in a jam, where I needed a catering order quickly and they were super accommodative and got it done. Couldn't be happier.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been a customer for many years and every single item is great. Recently we had some unexpected guests and I called them at the last minute for some platters and they made it the same day for us. The food was outstanding and they are always very kind. Their restaurant “Suprema” in Rutherford is a must try.

Michaels never disappoints! They catered our last party and everything was outstanding! Every person said how amazing the food was. Delivery and setup were a breeze as well. Will definitely be using them again!

Hands down the best Italian deli in Bergen County. My family have been coming to Michael’s for over 20 years. Owner Anthony is one of kind who takes his food very seriously! You will not be disappointed just remember to get to the store early if you are looking for sandwiches which are delicious his bread is deliver fresh daily and he sells out quickly. One other thing he has a restaurant in Rutherford called Suprema everything on the menu is spot on can’t forget to mention it is a BYOB! AWESOME 👏👏👏. The best of the best! I was in the area the other day and just had to stop in. So glad I did. I started shopping here 40 years ago when I lived down the street. Nothing has changed. Still immaculate, professional staff, and the highest quality food. I wish I still lived here so I could come in often and get all of this exquisite food. Everything is perfectly fresh and delicious. What a wonderful salumeria!!!!

From when they were in a small store in Jersey City I knew how great they were. When they moved to Lyndhurst, they expanded their items and became even bigger and better.

Michael's has always been one of the best places around for quality Italian food and sandwiches. A must stop if you're in Lyndhurst.

Let me start off by saying the “The quality is great” however $17.50 for a prosciutto sandwich is astronomical.

The best Italian food and sandwiches in North Jersey.

This is the best Italian specialities/deli in the immediate area. BUT they need to realize this isnt Upper Montclair or Short Hills, it's still a blue collar area, and their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Last year they raised prices, and seems this month they did again. I guess inflation hit the bakeries too, a loaf of bread went from $3 to $4.27. You can't get a small sandwich and a drink for under $20. If you have an important party or want to impress, then yes this is the place. Everything is delicious, but you'll go broke trying to eat here often.

Locked door 3:48. Every week runs out of mozz/bread/chicken cutlets. Sad bc i leave an hour early for work to grab a sandwhich( this is 3rd week in a row). Get more inventory if you expect this kind of rush.

Michael’s was highly recommended to me, and I totally get why it’s a neighborhood favorite. The guys working were super nice and helpful. They sold me on the roast beef as it’s made in house. After careful consideration I went with the roast beef with Asiago cheese, arugula, and garlic Mayo. The sandwich was a little dry, but the garlic mayo was insane. I’d drink it through a straw. The roast beef was good, but I was expecting to be wow’d and I wasn’t. Nonetheless, a tasty sandwich. I also grabbed a few rice balls while they had some available. Outstanding!

The best! One of my biggest issue is that most Salumeria’s don’t use 100% olive oil- rather they use an olive oil “blend”. Quality is definitely key to taste at this spot. The grilled chicken, eggplant, arugula, fresh mozzarella & olive oil =perfection.

Sandwiches were good and service was quick and friendly. I thought the prices were high for what you get. $40 for 2 Sammies and 2 sodas. For that price, I want the meat stacked high. No knock on the food though. They were delicious and bread was great.

Fantastic, Will be back a lot. They have Italian Ham Pie in the window. My fav. You never see that anywhere. My Roast Beef sandwich was amazing. Great friendly staff.

Their dishes have no flavor. Who prepares fried long hots not fried in oil with garlic? Everything Iv had lacked “something” and the microwave the “hot dishes” if you order for lunch. And not cheap $$$$ but it is clean and the people are friendly. Would I go back? if in the area yes, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

This place has the rare combination of VERY high quality mozzarella, chicken cutlets, cold cuts, broccoli rabe, bread (from Da Vinci's in Nutley), cleanliness, and attentive staff. Instead of driving all around to get these things from different spots you can get them all from Michael's and be extremely satisfied.

The only thing that changed is some decor. The food it the best freshest Italian in Rutherford. The staff equally friendly courteous and professional. Line caught wild filet, bell and Evans chicken are just two examples of quality. We are what we eat. Michael's Always has thee freshest food and it is always delicious, no matter what you get. Only the highest quality food is served here and the staff is amazing and super friendly. Love this place.

Love this place, really good food

Delicious prepared foods like the lasagna and rice balls. Tried the deli meats like capicola, ham, and roast beef! All so good when put into homemade sandwiches. Saturday afternoon is a good time to go. Fast service. Will return for more!

Best Italian salumaria in Bergen County, you cant go wrong with anything you eat at Michael's. While a little pricey, you certainly get value for every penny. With Great catered Italian food, Michael's also has the best walk in lunch you will find in NJ. Phenomenal sandwiches and dozens of different hot foods to choose from, this place is a treasure.

It's a little pricey but that's to be expected with the ingredients they are using and the quality of all their foods. Their drink selection is a little weak and can use some more variety

Love going to Michael's. They have the best rice balls! I am a vegetarian and the options are endless. Everything is fresh and made in house. I can't imagine a better deli anywhere.

Well ! Customer service was great! It was a fast moving line with awesome help. ( always a good thing when there’s a line !! ) I ordered a few different things today. 1 being a delicious sandwich with fresh chicken & mozz cheese, arugula & balsamic glaze ! Bread pudding which was meant for after dinner but was eaten before .. also phenomenal. Lasagna, stuffed peppers, string beans & pasta salad which were all a perfect combo for dinner. Appetizer, dinner & dessert at a reasonable price.. great place to go when you’re in need of a quick bite or a planned/ unplanned dinner !! Thanks for being so kind. 😊 Can’t wait to come back in !!

I just moved to the area and my neighbor braggs about this place. The deli food is definitely fresh and place is very clean and organized. I visit this place on a daily basis to purchase cold cuts and sometimes lunch. I highly recommend this place.
