Great experience, nice food and perfect service, there were someone just standing there helping you with cooking and even removing the foam from the chicken. I’ve been there a few times and still loving it! the only thing I would say is that their food is soooo good that I ate too much destroying my whole week effort for weight loss! :)

I recently tried Fish Maw Chicken Hot Pot at this restaurant and it was a great experience! The soup base is delicious and rich, and the fish maw is stewed very soft and glutinous, completely incorporating the essence of the chicken soup. The chicken is very tender, and you can feel the full amount of collagen in every bite, which is very nourishing. The side dishes are rich in variety and fresh and refreshing. I especially like their handmade shrimp paste, which is chewy and delicious. The environment in the store is clean and comfortable, and the waiters are warm and friendly. They will also take the initiative to add soup base and dishes for us, and are attentive and thoughtful. The overall dining experience was very pleasant, and I highly recommend it to friends who like healthy hot pot!

I've been to Miss Flower Hotpot eight times, and it never gets old. The chicken with fish maw soup base is my absolute favorite—so flavorful and aromatic! They have a great selection of sides. I love the handmade noodles, mushroom platter, and sliced beef. Plus, the shrimp paste with sweet corn is a sweet surprise. The sauce bar is top-notch! The fried onion and garlic are my go-tos for an extra flavor kick. The staff is super friendly and always on point. If you're into hotpot, you've got to check this place out. Highly recommend

Great soup base, great service, amazing chicken

Miss Flower Pot has decent food, with reasonable portions fitting for multiple people. There is plenty of seating, including private rooms for larger groups of people. However, you may still have to wait for seats, as the place is usually pretty full. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and there's even a claw machine in the front. I recommend the chicken hot pot, the toothpick lamb, and the signature fruit tea, to name a few.

Finally got around to try Miss Flower Hotpot and it did not disappoint. Love the friendly staff and the soup bases are delicious! We got the fish maw and chicken soup base which comes with a convenient timer to let you know when you can start digging in. How thoughtful!

First of all, it was Hot as hell, especially in summer. We were both sweating at the table, and we can see the table next to us was sweating too. Secondly, it was not the cleanest restaurant you’ll find. Bowl was dirty - fine. Only later to find hair in our food 🙃 so yeah that was that. BUT if you don’t care any of the these factors above, the food was pretty authentic.

Like the classic soup, definitely a unique experience compared to other hotpot restaurants.

The location is very good, right next to the Dahua Plaza. The pork belly and chicken are very fragrant. I have been wanting to eat this since I came to the United States. The food is reasonably priced and the service is good. It is delicious and I will eat it again next time.

Hua Xiaojiao deserves a five-star recommendation! The ingredients are fresh and the variety is rich. We especially recommend the hand-cut mutton and seafood platters, which taste great. There are various soup bases to choose from, the spicy pot base and the fish maw chicken pot base are both very delicious. The restaurant has an elegant environment, attentive service, and the overall experience is great. A restaurant not to be missed by hot pot lovers!

The coconut chicken doesn’t have much flavor, but the fish maw, abalone and chicken soup base uses butter! Overall it’s not very good! There is no difference between making the same stove and you can use fresh chicken at home! Why does Jie Zhong spend so much money on food?

Every time when I visit NY, I’ll go here to eat. They have really good taste of softshell turtle broth with fish maw and chicken. I used only try this in China and the taste is as good as the hot pot I’ve tried in China.

Updated review for breakfast: We ordered mostly breakfast items on the menu that are relatively hard to find (good ones) around Edison. The multigrain porridge was the best - reminds me of my grandpa’s version. The buns were okay with pork filling, but somehow had a soggy bottom. The meat pancakes were good, but filling was quite thin. The wontons were made the southern style, but somehow the filling and the soup did not taste particularly fresh. Again, our biggest concern was the hygiene - the utensils, including spoons, tea cups, bowls, were not clean, with food/sauce stain. Please please please improve. Dinner: The soup, the chicken, the fish maw are perfect, with or without abalones. But the utensils are sometimes not too clean, have random food stain. The seafood mushroom we ordered had dirt, not too bad, but the sliver wood ear took me so much time to re-clean - so many hard black dots inside of them. Not sure if it is because they are busy tonight, but whoever was washing veges should be a little more responsible.

We were greeted and quickly seated for lunch on the weekend, service was fast and easy. We ordered the chicken with fish maw broth. It was the richest chicken based broth I’ve ever had. We ordered two add ins mushrooms and pork belly which were a good portion size, fruit tea which was sweet and refreshing, and mango sago (better than mango mango’s). We ended up way too full with a lot of left overs. Will come back for more.

Went here two times now and thoroughly enjoyed each time. The broth is always delicious and they’re fairly generous with the sides. Definitely coming again in the future for that delicious broth!

As someone who has never tried hotpot before, Miss Flower Hotpot has been a great introduction to this style of cuisine. I’ve been here twice and have enjoyed each time. Warning: Do not burn your mouth when eating. :D

Although google shows the restaurant closing at 11 pm, we arrived at 9:45 pm and were informed that no new customers were being accepted at that time. When I inquired about the closing time, the waitress responded with a mysterious smile rather than providing a clear explanation.

Super cozy and adorable place. The food was pretty alright; the chicken broth, though, was 🧑‍🍳 💋. Service was okay, nothing too special. Long story short, this place was pretty good; considering coming here.

Food is not tasty, service is very slow, the place is kind of messy and no atmosphere. The soup base: they give you chopped raw chicken (with bones and skin), with some jujubes, goji berries, and few thin threads of golden needle flowers , without frying and without any herbs, pour in the pot, then pour in a broth containing pumpkin, together with chopped fish maw. The soup base tastes like the water that I throw it away after blanched the meat I'm going to cook. The meat (beef) quality is bad, and the mixed vegetables are very small with very few veggies. They use a timer and tell each customer that the raw chicken can be eaten in 8 minutes of cooking time. I'm truly surprised there's no food poisoning ever reported. The service is very slow and sloppy. We sat there for 20 minutes without nothing served, not the soup base, not even water, until we complained. All tableware, including cups, are melamine, and there's always workers staxking the dirty, used tableware next to each table, in very narrow passages. Overall, taste bad, bad services, and not good environment. One of the worst dining experiences in an area full of other similar but better choices.

Was here yesterday and the had the chicken with fish maw and abalone soup base. Ordered some scallops, mixed mushrooms, stuffed mushrooms with shrimp paste and tobiko, quail Eggs and shrimp paste with corn and goji berries. Their sauce station is very good. Plenty of sauce option. Did the suggested dipping sauce for the soup base and it was tasty. It's good to drink these soups since it provides plenty of good health benefits from time to time. The service was very good. Clean establishment. Bathroom is in order and clean.Would come and here again.

They have different varieties of soup, each with authentic ingredients simmered away to unlock their medicinal qualities. The selection of meats and vegetables are a la carte but very worth it. I highly recommend the reliable fatty beef, as it can hold up to a vigorous boil better than fish. Even after a lot of meat, the soup still doesn't taste greasy, which is often an issue I have with hot pot. The servers come by to pour more soup and adjust the temperature as needed. We came at a very quiet afternoon for lunch and it was pleasant, with game shows playing on the televisions. One big shout out is their dessert. I highly recommend their oreo oat milk confection. It has the stretchy texture of mochi without being too stubborn and a pleasant backdrop of sweetness without too much.
