My beef brisket was so tender, cream of corn and mashed potatoes were on point also .

Food was cold. Like an old Piccadilly restaurant. Wasn’t as fresh or homemade as led to believe. Did not meet my expectations.

First visit and I'll definitely be back. Food is excellent with a great variety also. Spotless clean and service was excellent.

This place is a must do in the area. Food is cafeteria style but very reasonably priced. All made with fresh ingredients, and servers keep you drinks full and very attentive. Come early as the place fills up and often has a line. Very efficient.

Literally, my ONLY complaint (other than some might see it as a bit pricey but not when you consider quiality) would be that the design of the place feels a bit dated. I understand what people are going to say that they are probably more than please with their decor/design and it's what they're aiming for. I'm just stating my opinion. Anyway .. staff was almost too kind, food was amazing and had me talking about it for the next 2 days, and lastly the desserts ...... WHAT!!! I'll just say get on over to try it. Can't go wrong.

Being Pennsylvania Dutch this was a huge taste from home the staff is friendly very clean, I got the shoo fly pie, you should try it!

We absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is beyond delicious, and everyone is so welcoming! Make sure you grab one of their mouth watering baked treats on the way out! The cinnamon rolls are highly addictive. I don't know how they make the icing, but I can't get enough of it!!! Eating there is always a special treat for the entire family! Highly recommend!!!

Crowded!! Not a parking spot to be found! But definitely worth the wait. We enjoyed lunch and chatted with the local and distant customers. Delicious 😋 Everything is grown and raised, cooked by the Yoder community. If you're anywhere nearby, CHECK THE HOURS OF SERVICE , they have a strict schedule .

A simple restaurant with a simple menu, which is what adds to the charm! The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was so nice. Our drinks were never empty because someone was constantly walking around checking on patrons. We also bought a couple cakes while there and they were delicious. Highly recommend you visit... It's worth the drive!

I and my family came today to eat dinner here the food was so good all plates were empty, I could come here every Friday.

We love coming to Yoder's whenever we're in town visiting family! The food is always amazing and the service is great. The meatloaf and roast beef are so tasty. Definitely recommend!

A very good buffet with freshly cooked meats and vegetables. It was delicious, clean and the young ladies working there were very nice. The bakery has a variety of cakes and breads at unbelievable prices. I just wish they were closer to me.

Fresh comfort food is how I would describe Yoder's. You can taste it in every bite! The desserts are phenomenal as well!

This is one of our favorite places to eat. We will always make the trip easy here. The food is excellent, with many options, and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Ye owners and the staff are the nicest people you will meet.

Had the turnip greens, coleslaw, custard pie,brisket and fried ocra. Plan on returning back to try more of their food.

If you're in Montezuma GA this is a must to visit! The food was amazing! I had the fried chicken, which was light and crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I also had rice with gravy, fried okra, and green beans, all so very good and well seasoned. The little store next door to the restaurant is a must for home made jellies and jams.

Very fairly priced, great food and they have GREAT customer service. Most every patron that I've encountered in the LINE (get there early, it gets crowded fast) have been equally pleasant.

We made a detour just to eat at Yoders's Deitsch Haus. The meals are cafeteria style where you walk through the line and choose the items you want. It's a very affordable restaurant. I only got pie, but there are plenty of great options. There is a bakery too, so you can get cakes, pies and breads to go if you want.

If you like country home cooking just go , you can thank me later.

Main Entrée was 3.80 Veggies are 1.90 Desserts are 2.50 each but Worth the stop, worth the wait, and a very nice dining experience...

Great family-friendly atmosphere, excellent country food and desserts served cafeteria style with generous portions. Always a great experience there, and they also have an outstanding bakery.

Had been 30 years since I had eaten there and I was still not disappointed.....

I loved their “Egg Custard Pie”, The “German Chocolate Cake” and “Pound Cake”. It just doesn’t get any better! Just thinking about their Bakery delights causes us to drive all the way from Eastman. In a heart beat!

This hidden gem is outside of town but worth the extra couple miles to get there. They serve cafeteria style. They had a variety of home cooked food. Some of the meats they had today were chicken patty, roast beef, and the brisket. They also have country fried steak sometimes. They offered rice, mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, green beans, fried okra, and lots of other sides. They offer slices of a variety of pies and cakes for dessert. Though the decor is simplistic, it feels homey and there is lots of seating to accommodate large groups easily. There is also a whole room full of desserts to choose from that makes up a waiting area of sorts if there are a lot of people already in line. In addition to the restaurant, there is a separate gift shop building where you can buy hand made items.

Omg totally awesome. I will be back at least once a week.

Great food! Many goodies in the bakery! Big yum!

We went yesterday for the first time in several years and were shocked and dismayed at the difference in the food. While Yoder’s used to be a place to go for excellent home cooking, it now seems to be a place for warmed-up prepared foods. The meat loaf did seem to be some sort of meat, it was shaped into a loaf, it had some tomato sauce on top so it resembled meat loaf. That’s where the similarity stopped though. It was some form of mystery meat that I had to drown with ketchup to get any taste at all. I think it must have been some sort of purchased frozen product that you heat and serve. The mashed potatoes both looked and tasted like they came from a box, and the gravy was a gelatinous gooey texture. My broccoli casserole was passable but made with Velveeta or something like it. The fried okra and corn muffin were good. My husband’s fried chicken wasn’t good, his lima beans were undercooked, and his mashed potatoes were like mine. The dessert pies (cherry and apple crumble) were passable but nothing to write home about. We got two kinds of brownies and a pecan pie to bring home. We haven’t tried the pie yet but the brownies are nothing special. I considered buying a cake but I’m glad I didn’t. We got there at opening time, and the ladies room was nasty by the time we left. The redeemable factors from our trip yesterday were the pretty drive from Columbus, and the wonderful people who work there, gracious, friendly, and attentive. As a restaurant, however, we left knowing that this was our last visit. That made us sad.

Food was great and the workers were extremely kind and they don't constantly bother you about refills. The seats are comfortable and it is the perfect temperature. Also there is a bakery with a large selection of homemade sweets.

I purchased 1 of the delicious cakes from the bakery. They never disappoint me.

Not entirely sure how you could find better food than this. Great atmosphere, amazing staff and even better food. Well worth any drive to get there.

Great home made food wonderful people

The fried chicken is very good! The corn bread has just a hint of sweet ,enough to please but not over power. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

As always the fine people at Yoder’s Deitsch House were both extremely polite and attentive to our noon time culinary needs. Add to that some of the most delicious food you’ll ever put in your mouth and you have an accurate description of what goes on daily in this legendary Macon county establishment. Don’t let a little distance or anything else stop you from treating your taste buds to a real treat

This restaurant is an absolute treasure!!! It is without question a hidden gem. The food is nourishing, delicious, and beyond fair priced. The staff treat you like family and the ambiance and vibes are wonderful. They are Simply the best! I highly recommend the coconut cream pie, meatloaf and fried okra!

I've bn coming here since I was 5 years old, have loved it for almost 40 years, food is always top notch!

Folks were lined out nearly out the door but fast service got us seated quickly. Food is always hot and fresh.

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! Yoder's is in a neighboring state from us, so it's always a treat when we have an opportunity to dine there. Freshest and best tasting food around!

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, service was good, people were friendly. This place has been hear for along time and the food has always been top notch. Definitely a must stop if your in the area and if not it's worth a road trip!

Smelled like homemade food as soon as I walked in the door. Got the turkey it was outstanding juicy, fried okra right on, burger beans perfectly cooked, fresh salad, rice and turkey gravy yummy, lemon meringue pie was sooo good. Like a homemade meal without doing it yourself!

The buffet had great food, and servers. The atmosphere was not overwhelming. I’d come again.

The broccoli casserole was done to perfection. Ummm-umm! I am not a meat eater so all of the veggies were great. I'll order 1/2 order of fried okra next time, it was so much. God bless your family and business.

Great place for lunch and good food. There is always a line but they are quik to get you thru the line with the food you choose and the cakes and pies are out of this world. You owe it to you're self to try it and make it your go to for good food.

Always exactly what your expecting. Fresh, homemade and delicious!

They've remodeled since the last time I visited and I like it. Always very clean and staff is nice. Now, for some reason, the cakes taste a little different. The brownies, on the other hand, were sooo good. They also have fruitcake cookies, if you're interested in that type of thing. Overall, a good place to try!

I love this place for the food, the atmosphere & the staff. They have great selections. Food is served cafeteria style. There was a line that formed just before opening time and it became obvious that people love this place. They also had desserts available with lunch on the line. There were also desserts available to purchase in the lobby, donuts to pies & cakes. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and a perfect setting for an amazing lunch.

My husband introduced me to this place 5 years ago. Let me tell you, I'm so glad he did. It's a little road trip for us, but the scenery is peaceful. The food is amazing the meatloaf, fried okra, mash potatoes with gray is delicious. Don't forget to stop by the bakery area to take home dessert our favorites are chocolate peanut butter and red velvet. Also our boys love stopping by go feed the goats on our way out.

The rural location adds to the authenticity of this place. Food is great, and the desserts are top notch!

We made a 1.5 hour road trip for lunch. It was average. The fish was more of a large fish stick. Lemon meringue pie was tasty but not worth a return trip.
