Love everything at Mission BBQ. Staff is awesome, cool decor, excellent food. Turkey is my go-to. Fries and corn bread are great. Memphis Belle is the way to go for sauces.

This place is amazing! The food is consistently first rate, and the employees are exceptional. Was celebrating a birthday on the most recent visit, and what they did was better than you can imagine. Shar (sp?) was, I think, the dining room hostess that day. She asked if there was any special occasion that day, so we told her. She came back a little later with a strawberry shortcake, some of her own beautiful artwork, and a card with a free-sandwich coupon inside. Thank you Shar (for your amazing hospitality) and Mission BBQ. Oh yeah, and their playing of the National Anthem at noon is always a reason for me to be there for lunch!

Brisket is amazing and baked beans are out of this world.

We had a absolutly great time we came here on a whim visiting in from louisiana the person who took our order Kristina was phenomenal and extremely nice food was some of the best i’ve ever had & the service was so quick n clean came in with a smile left with a smile cant stress enough come here

The entire staff was courteous the moment we walked in. We had juicy brisket that tasted amazing on its own, and the potato salad was one of the best we’ve had in all bbq joints. Finished our meal off with great banana pudding. Thank you for sharing your history with us!

Get it a brisket sandwich, and the meat was cut thin, and it was dry. And it had a bad smell to it. This location is usually decent. Don't know what happened.

Mission BBQ is a good place to enjoy at reasonable prices smokehouse food. I tried the Black Plate Ribeye Steak in pineapple sauce. It was excellent, Fry's were cooked properly and seasoned well.

Had a pretty big order. MISTY ASSISTED ME over the phone she was so kind! My order was ready when I picked it up and she helped me carry it to my car because I had my baby with me. Amazing customer service. Been coming here for years… haven’t been in about 2 years… just wanted to leave a review! She is such a wonder lady! Love this place always will be my go to location …. Other locations food don’t taste as good and don’t have as good customer service! Thanks!!

The Customer service was out of this world. I think she must have been the manager. This lady was on point. Now the food was absolutely great as usual. The sweet potato desert. Was FABULOUS. Great place to get some flavorful barbecue. As a born and raised southerner, this almost taste as good as the barbecue down south. The baked beans are their best side in my opinion. Mac & cheese in second. The workers are always very nice and patient as well. Oh and that Sweet Tea!!! DELICIOUS!! The lemonade as well. I’ve only had the brisket and chicken from the meat selection though. The chicken is extremely juicy.

Great Texan BBQ. Very well cooked meat with a choice of 6 sauces on table to add. Ask for the white sauce behind the counter.

First time ordering brisket from here. I ordered . 5 lean and .5 lb moist. The moist cut was 80% fat and was disgusting, Very disappointed, for the money. I don't mind spending the money if the food is worth it. I would never order moist again

I love the customer service. I usual love the food. But yesterday I got the pull chicken and chopped brisket. It was so salty I had to throw it away. So disappointed.

I pick up take out maybe once a month. The customer service is consistently wonderful. The food is never a disappointment. I will always be a return customer.

A MUST GO!!! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! This was my first time checking our Mission BBQ, from one visit I am now a loyal customer. Upon arriving I was welcomed by the entire staff. While placing my order I felt so bad because I was taking so long to look over the menu. Everything looked delicious! The cashier was so patient and kind. After placing my order, apologizing for being so indecisive, and explaining it was my first visit, I was given a complimentary drink for being a first time customer! Such a small but kind gesture. After the kitchen staff heard it was my first time they were so kind in explaining to me the different sauces and giving advice on which sauce paired the best with items on the menu. This was all done on their own accord voluntarily. I ended my visit with a warm farewell from staff. I'm already planning to visit again tomorrow! In addition to the EXCELLENT customer service the half chicken was phenomenal! Plenty of chicken, I actually have enough chicken leftover to make another meal! (Chicken tacos). I tried the Mac & Cheese and it's a 7/10. For reference Chick-fil-A's is a 10/10 for me. It needed more cheese sauce, especially since they use bread crumbs. The sweet & spicy BBQ sauce they have is lovely! Once again the customer service I received was enough to make me add this to my regular dining out rotation. The food being great BBQ was a happy added bonus.

Food was amazing, service was great and everything was super clean. Highly recommend coming here. The pulled pork sandwich was truly tasty, and the fries perfectly seasoned. Definitely try the Cheesy Potatoes.... so good, they were the closest to grandma's I've had in a long time!

I spoke to a manager yesterday after posting an unfavorable review regarding a takeout order that l placed. As l stated in my yesterday's post, l have always had excellent food and service. This was the first time that my food wasn't what l expected. I contacted the manager and she was very understanding, accommodating and concerned with how l felt. She went out of her way to make the situation right. It isn't often that complaints are taken seriously and results in a positive outcome. Thanks for the outstanding service of the staff which l forgot to mention yesterday and the immediate assistance of the manager to make my order right. And yes, l will definitely return. Much thanks!

My husband, newborn baby and I went for lunch at Mission BBQ in Laurel. We were greeted by Missy who made sure we had a comfortable table since we had the car seat. This was during the our very first few days with our very first newborn and we were still trying to figure out how to travel with a baby. Missy explained the menu and got the food out to us in no time. She congratulated us on our new baby and remarked on how beautiful he was. But that was not all. At the end of our meal she brought out a sweet congratulations card and two discount cards for a future visit “for those days were you’re too tired to cook”. She also brought out complementary dessert which was so delicious. I’ll make sure to order it next time. Thanks Missy! Being new parents is quite the adjustment and you made our day! Yes, we will be back. Many times.

I used to be a regular, but stopped coming due to the pandemic. For two years now, I've been waiting for online ordering, which their website states is 'coming soon'. I'll consider returning and revising this review once online ordering is in place.

My girl and I had the salmon and the sausage w/cheese and jalapeños. Both were great.

Fast service great food. Little hard to get to it so many stores in that shopping center with roundabouts and no clear signs on entry to store. Not restaurant fault its a puzzle to find it. Laurel town center is a congruent of shopping centers tired together no clear markings

Mediocre food for the price. I dont have a problem with pledge to the flag. But having everyone interrupting a meal to stand up and pledge in a restaurant is annoying when I just want to eat my meal in peace. For anyone who didn't know. They have pledge allegiance to the flag during lunch. You don't have to do it, but all patrons seems to take it super seriously so you will feel the pressure to at least stand up and stop eating.

Delicious BBQ!!! Lots of meat options including breaking the brisket down into lean vs moist. Cole slaw is excellent as well! Love the many sauce options and the decor of the place.

Called right after opening on Sunday (11:30 AM) to place an order for a Pickup Pack for 10 people to be picked up at 2:15 PM. The person who took my order was very polite and helpful. I arrived shortly before 2:15, was greeted and payment made. The person bagging my food identified what was in each container, asked if I needed dressing for the salad, serving utensils, etc. She also asked if I needed help taking it to my car. The food was great! It was what my son wanted for his birthday dinner, and he loved it. Thanks to the staff of Mission BBQ in Laurel for an exceptional experience.

I like their food and spend alot of money eating out every day. However I will never eat here again until they change their pricing back. I just found out, now you have to buy the sides separately from the meat. On top of that you only get 1 side instead of 2 that used to come with it. Shame on you for taking advantage of your loyal customers. I am so sick of businesses using Covid as a reason to ripe the consumer off. I can take my money to places that just up the price instead of price gouging manipulation.

Wow. What a wonderful evening out with our family. We are a military family with myself serving eight years and my husband is currently a Navy Chief. We seen so much around the restaurant to make us feel nostalgic as well as welcomed. Kiara was beyond helpful and happy to assist us with it being our first time at this place. Our first time at a Mission BBQ, and we are hooked! The service was incredible! We were greeted by Emily, who after we told was our first visit, gave us the rundown on the restaurant's story, a menu rundown, and lots of warmth and hospitality! After getting our food (which was delicious, came out fast and fresh), Emily came to our table to ask how everything was We'll be back for sure! If not for the wonderful food, for the superb staff! Best beef brisket in Laurel. I appreciate the wide selection of sauces. For everything besides brisket and smoked meatloaf I prefer Red, Hot and Blue.

My husband and I came to the Laurel location for Sunday dinner unsure of the menu because today was the first time eating here. I'm not even home now but in the parking lot because I have to give props to the cashier Laila! She was patient and very helpful with the menu and of course the fact that this was our first time. Her very pleasant and upbeat attitude blew both of us away! Thank you Laila! In fact it appeared the whole staff was a well oiled machine giving their best. As you can see I am big on customer sevice. The food looks amazing and I'm sure it will taste amazing. I will do an update.
