Mongolian BBQ Restaurant in Spokane Valley

Because I use a small bowl for my spicy items and a medium bowl for my non-spicy. (Idk. I like them to mix on the grill). And, even though it fits into a medium quite easily. The chef always tries to put mine in the largest bowl so he can charge more.

Mongolian BBQ is amazing. The staff is so friendly and loves to come talk to us. To be completely honest this is the best staff I have came across. The food was fantastic. Noodles, sauce, and meat was spot on fabulous and I enjoyed it so much. The room was quiet not to packed. Here and then you’ll hear a slight chatter but it was quiet mostly. Rice was also awesome. We enjoy coming here. 😁

Terrible experience. Had horrible food poisoning 60 minutes after my meal. The food tasted a bit off and the low mein noodles tasted stale and rancid (which I didn't eat).

The food was good and it was very clean but highly overpriced. This is probably the worst example of price gouging I’ve ever seen. 30 dollars plus for a large single bowl of food, just to be allowed to take it home. I had to not tip because this cost so much. If you want to feel what it’s like to feel ripped off, go here. Otherwise try hoo hot for half the price.

Great food cooked right in front of you. You pick what you like for meats veggies and noodles. Sauce it up to your liking and it's cooked on an open flat top. They have a decent selection of beers also.

Been here twice with my boyfriend and both times the food is just bland even with all the sauces I add. Almost like it’s been frozen too long. ALSO, the second time I was there (about a week ago) the cook was done cooking my boyfriend’s food within less than 30seconds. There was pink in the meat & Sure enough my boyfriend got FOOD POISONING. He started feeling sick while he was eating, puking the same day and all the next day. Not work the $50 plus dollars for bland food and getting sick.

Went with my girlfriend to get a gargantuan bowl of beef and noodles with cilantro and light amounts of garlic and sesame oil. The chef cooked my meal for easily less than 30 seconds, closer to probably 20. It was undercooked, pink and chewy. As I was eating towards the end/closer to finishing, I got remarkably nauseated. Later that night, being sick all day, I lost my stomach up until through the entire next day. I ended up having to miss work, and I didn’t feel better until the day after the next. I am sure I got food poisoning due to how it was cooked, and/or the meat itself. I spent $65 with tip here with my girlfriend, but won’t be going again. You let me down, and it sucks, because I really enjoyed it here. Sincerely, one less customer.

Phenomenal food and service!! Had a party of 9 and they treated us so so well! Totally recommend stopping here!

Everything was great but expense

Very friendly staff always a warm welcoming every time I eat here, fresh veggies and fantastic sauce, if you like it hot add some fire oil 🔥 stuff is great. A bit expensive but worth it.

I've been here quite a bit but after tonight I'm done. I ordered online like I always do. I show up and say I have an online order. The person said they don't do online orders. I said I literally ordered off their website 30 mins ago. She said they've never done online orders. I told her I've ordered online at least 10 times before. Then she passed me off to someone else. He asked if I had an online order, I said yes. He then told me to go make it myself. I'm not making three meals by myself. I ordered online like I always do. I get if there's a mishap but don't argue with me and tell me to do it myself. I've always tipped well for to go orders here, have been patient and friendly when there were problems. But after this I'm done and never coming back. You have a website that has an area for online orders...

From the time I walked into the building, I was getting unwelcoming stares. This was my first time being at this location so I was not aware of the prices or how the setup went. No one told me about the different prices so they made me choose the most expensive bowl, then when it came down to the sauces, I didn't even get the option to choose what sauces I want. They chose for me without asking for my input. So at the register when my total came up to $30 I decided to say no to it and ask for a refund due to the previous issues I listed and because I was getting unneeded attitude from the cashier and the cook. So when I asked for my refund, I am now being questioned by another worker who repeatedly keeps asking me why do I want to refund. This was the most unprofessional Mongolian barbecue location I've ever been to. And for minorities to make another minority feel less than speaks volumes. I will never go back to this location, they would never see my money, and anybody that I come across I will let them know exactly what issues I came across coming to this establishment.

The food seemed stale and bland, and the prices are considerably higher for what you get compared to other places. I also threw up in the bathroom at the end of my time there. The staff were very nice to us and checked on our drinks frequently.

I give a four star because as I'm eating my food, the owner/manager decides he want to fix the salt no lower display holder. We were looking at drinks and did not put the drink advertising back. He reached over our table while we were eating to make that adjustment. Something that could have been done after we left our table.

This place is the most consistently good restaurant I’ve ever experienced.

The food is great, I love that they have recommended sauce pairings so you don’t have to come up with a recipe on the spot. Good quality ingredients and good prices for all you can eat. We did a birthday party there and they were very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Decent food, nice staff, but quite expensive! $20-26 per person seem a little steep.

We decided to come here because it was close to the flying squirrel, and it was really good. You pick the size of your bowl, fill it, choose a sauce and give to the grill, and go eat it. The bowls are on the pricey side, but it was still good. I would come back.

It was our first time at this place and we loved it. The staff was very attentive unlike many other Mongolian BBQ spots. I love that they also have a take home option! You can definitely do all you can eat there or they have different sized bowls with corresponding price points and if you don’t finish that one bowl you are allowed to box it up and take it home! It does cost more than the all you can eat but I don’t know another place with this option. Oh and the food was great and everything looked fresh :)

Little bit expensive. My daughter ate seafood and she spat it out. Sooo bad quality seafood. Without seafood is OK. Inside smell was smoky, I don’t recommend here as a date with girlfriend.

Good food. But the reason there are 2 people there for lunch, on Sunday...your prices are way to high. Just paid $26 for all you can eat, at lunch. If you want to stay competitive you need to drop under $20....just saying... 1 star for atmoshere...almost nobody there...

So delicious. Always pile more than you want cause after it cooks down some of the food shrinks in size. Super good and healthy food. Highly recommend.

I love this place. My family loves this place. BUT!, Let it be known, it is this particular place, location that I am talking about. The one along Sullivan and Sprague. The family has always been nice to me. The staff is friendly. There is a language barrier, but it is doable . You pick your own sauces and scoop them out yourself so it's all on you for flavor. And for that reason it will always taste a little different. Variety is the spice of life, right? (Where are those other women!?)(😘 🤭 😲 🤫 🤔 😄 😇 I think that about covers it) I highly recommend this place, and if you go, take me with you!

Love this place, best Mongolian in town!! My drink never went past half full before refill, fresh ingredients, happy staff.. family of 5 eats for less than 80.00 bucks, can beat that.

Awesome place to eat. You make it and they cook it. I personally like the dinner selection. They have artificial crab meat. This is my favorite place to eat. Clean and wholesome meals.

We love it here! I have been going for 7 years now and my partner has been going since he was a kid. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the staff is one of a kind they are so generous and caring, never forgetting our faces. The portions are great and the ingredients are always fresh, cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is absolutely amazing!

Always extremely fresh and very clean and the staff is super friendly. I love this place! Update 5/8/2023: This locally owned, family owned business is still just as amazing as ever! And even after inflation, it's still a great value! It's still one of my hands down all time favorite places to eat in Spokane after almost 10 years.

My friend Aki had a really good time here and I thought that I didn't like celery but I found out that I really like it cooked in Mongolian BBQ.

Good food, great service and the place was clean. Prices are a bit steep but the trade off is mentioned above. Service was very good everyone is nice I would recommend and come back. These people do a great job running their business

We just moved here and read the rave reviews. Let me tell you they all are right on. This place was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious, drinks are so good, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The best thing about this place is the staff. They were so genuinely kind and really made our kids feel special. We will definitely be back very soon!

Best noodles and nicest staff in town. They are my favorite restaurant in town. I’m from the valley and used to go there often because their food is so good. Moved to the north side over a year ago and now I’m only able to make it there once or less per month which is a bummer but every time the wife or I swing by for take out or what ever the staff remember us like we were just there yesterday.most places i get sick of if I have their food to often but i could eat Mongolian grill every day. Just looked through some reviews and anyone that would give under a 4 star is just being a Karen. And the hu hut and moons Mongolian done even compare to Mongolian grill. People are pathetic. Weird some people claim to have gone in one time and had a bad experience when myself and so many others that have left reviews have been in countless times not once having issues of any sort. That’s the world we live in though guess some people can’t get past their glass half empty in life.I wish I could review those peoples reviews.

I have been a patron of the Mongolian BBQ restaurant for well over a decade. It is not only my favorite restaurant in the Spokane area, but anywhere. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and take the time to get to know you. I can't say enough about this restaurant or the ownership. I never feel more welcome than when I'm in their Spokane Valley location. I will be coming back time and time again for many more years to come.

The Kahn bowl is a fav of mine and is super filling. Plus they serve you with white rice without asking and this location has wine and mixed drinks. A definite weekly go to spot for noodles.

Food made me sick with a trip to the hospital, allergic reaction from being cooked on same grill as mushrooms and fish. Chicken was still raw and rubbery... Too overpriced especially when you didn't get eat your food due to it being cross contaminated and under cooked... $22 for a sprite essentially..

The customer service is always super nice, and they always have a smile on their faces! The food is always fresh as well and is cooked great!

We had a very bad experience at an Outback Steakhouse and ended up walking out we were still hungry and we needed food and I still wanted to celebrate with my husband so we came to the Mongolian barbecue we had never been to this one before. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and even though it was close to closing they told us to enjoy our meal and take our time. The atmosphere was wonderful, the server was delightful and we got better service here which is a self serve than we did at outback. And let's face it I always enjoy watching the cooks.

Honestly if I could add more than 5 stars I would. The service is unmatched, the environment is great, and the food is amazing. One of my favorite restaurants, worth a try if you haven't had it.

Diner had a good selection of items for the grill. The bowls cook fast and taste great. The staff is super friendly, knowing a few of the customers that came in while I was there. In comparison with Hu Hot, I prefer this place due to the service area being cleaner. The counters at Mongolia were clean of spilled food and sauces. I will certainly be back.

Family atmosphere. They remember your face when you return. If you tell them it's a birthday, they bring a special treat. Great sauces and proteins. White rice with every plate. We've been going here for years. We didn't go for 5 years due to location, came back and they remembered us and were so happy to see us. It was so sweet. The food is delicious and a barbarian feeds me for a week haha

This has always been my favorite Mongolian BBQ in spokane they have excellent service the food is always amazing! They might not have the fancy decor like other joints do but it is a comfortable family run atmosphere. I have been eating here since they opened and have never been dissapointed they always remember me even when it has been a long time between visits!! I recomend the barbarian bowl that way you have leftovers for the next day mmmm mmmm....

Love this restaurant -the best asian stir-fry in Spokane Valley and beyond! The create your own stir fry dishes consistently taste amazing as they are experts on the large grill! This is our “Go to place” weekly as the staff always makes you feel very welcome and this is my idea of delicious comfort food! The abundant meats and veggies to choose from (or put them all in!) are always fresh and with so many sauces to mix and match, your noodle bowl can be different every time! Sooo delicious!!!

First time visiting, everyone was so friendly and food is AMAZING! Especially because you make it yourself. Very clean, very fast and fresh ingredients. Lots of seating area inside or grab something to go.

This family-run restaurant is a wonderful place to have a stir fried meal customized exactly the way you like it! You choose the size bowl you want and fill it with everything you like of the veggies, fruits, meats, noodles, and sauces in the buffet. After you watch the chef stir fry it on the flat round grill and slide it into a fresh bowl you can sprinkle on a few more toppings. A bowl of rice is also brought to your table. The friendly staff has come to recognize us over the years and knows we like to eat our meal with chopsticks. I also love looking at the beautiful mural painted on an entire wall of an idyllic scene in Mongolia with grassy hills, horses, and people in traditional dress.

Been coming here for years! Might feel little awkward at first but they make sure customers are always happy and surged immediately!!! (Also try the Singha beer)

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, organized, quiet, and bright looking the restraurant was. The staff is incredibly pleasant, helpful and professional! They took the time to explain their procedure and they were very nice! The food is nicely presented and I found it to be better quality that the other Mongolian bbq grill i have been too. Very clean food area! Of course the food tasted great. I am definitely coming back here.

Excellent place. I had their biggest bowl option & boy was that a lot. They offer a box when you're finished, which not all Mongolian BBQ places do. My son enjoyed the leftovers & we look forward to returning as a family in the near future.
