It's our first time visiting this winery, and we loved it. It is a beautiful winery, providing excellent wines. The wines are very tasty, and we loved the Red Blend the most. We love the full body, rich, and multi-layer taste of this wine. The Pinot Noir was also very tasty. The color of Pinot Noir looks like a light body wine, but the taste is rich with delightful aroma. The sommelier gave us a great explanation of each wine and also shared some interesting history of this winery. In the end, he also poured us a glass of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, which aged for almost 20 years for sipping experience. It was great. Each sip had a different taste, which gave us a completely different experience. Reservations are highly recommended for a better wine tasting experience. Overall, we had a great wine tasting experience here and will definitely return next time.

Incredible for white wine lovers! I am not a huge fan of reds, so absolutely loved the white wine flight at Monticello. We called a few minutes in advance and they were able to fit us right in. The service is incredible as well.

Monticello Napa Valley is a beautiful winery with exceptional wines. Walter was fantastic—he has a lot of knowledge and took the time to educate us, answering all our questions. We truly appreciated our visit and highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Napa Valley.

Did a tasting here, guide was very informative. People were very friendly, love that it's kept organic. They do only have one white wine. They have some really good red wines. Beautiful scenery. They care about the quality of their wine. They are not just trying to mass produce things. Lots of respect for keeping quality as what's important.

Beautiful place to relax and have a sip of wine in the Napa Valley. It was not crowded when we went there on Sunday afternoon. They have red wines only(just one white wine). They have ample amount of place outside. Also there are few tables inside as well. The owner was welcoming and suggested good options.

An excellent winery in Napa with very friendly and informative staff. This was a great experience for us and picked up a good bit of knowledge about wine , the vineyard, and the wine making process. I recommend taking their tour when you have a couple of free hours in the Napa area.

This is a great relaxing location for a wine tasting. The grounds are beautiful plus there are 3 cats on the property that are very friendly and fun to play with. The service is amazing.Gus was very knowledgeable about the wine. He also provided us with some great restaurant recommendations in the area. Gus’s service was just a 10/10, great guy. We heard about Monticello winery because we had done the Napa Valley wine train the day before.

Beautiful grounds. We sat outside with a great view. Our hostess Christina was awesome and very knowledgeable about the wine pairings. She seems passionate about her job. This vineyard does not serve food/cheese boards but we had crackers. The wines we chose were wonderful. Definitely a must see in Napa.

Loved the wine, the tour guide was excellent and fun. We had a barrel tasting which was amazing quality for a wine not yet bottled. Gives you an early idea of the quality of the wine that will be produced. We also had a taste of a 24 year old bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon which was excellent. This was the first winery we visited on that day and it set the tone for the rest of the day,

A well run winery with a history and beautiful grounds. The walk around the grounds was quite insightful and totally amazing. The tasting part could have been more wider.

We did a tour with Gustavo and it was the most fun tour we did. He was so upbeat and knowledgeable. He made the tour fun and we enjoyed the wines he shared. I highly recommend doing a tour and asking for him. He was great. The wine was amazing as well.

On March 10th, we had a great tasting experience at Monticello with Linda as our guide. The Cabs ranged from highly concentrated (sourced from Napa Valley floor) through Old World style (sourced from northern Napa). Linda explained everything about this winery and its fine wines. We'll try to find it on the east coast, but we look forward to returning to Monticello soon.

We came back here this year after our honeymoon last year- and just like last year this winery did not disappoint.Trish is the most wonderful host and we cannot wait to come back again next year!

Visited Monticello Winery for the first time with my son in November 2023 and we had a grand time, enjoyed the landscape while sipping on several glasses of wine. Great conversation with our server who shared the family history in the vineyard ownership and how the operation has extended to familial next generations. Wonderful outdoors and porch setting, and great wines. I would definitely recommend a visit to Monticello Napa Valley. Thank you for a fabulous experience.

Monticello Vineyards is a delightful experience; we enjoyed the tasting of Corley Family wines with the Cheese Charcuterie Board offering. Our host, Linda guided us through the tasting suggesting us to taste each wine with each of the different cheeses, this definitely brought out the taste of each wine. Make it a point to try their Chardonnay, it is awesome! We highly recommend Monticello for your Wine Tasting experience in the Napa Valley!

The tasting experience is a terrific one. The locale is beautiful and the wines are wonderful. Great nose and flavors to match. combine that with the information provided about each of the wines, appellations and vineyards and you have a memorable experience. For us, the best part (other than the company we shared-friends we've been tasting wine with for over 30 and years) was the wine. Truly great wines

Viñedo y degustacion de vinos. Tabla de quesos. opcional . Te dan a degustar varias clases de vinos , inicialmente te presentan el vino de diseño del enologo de la planta de producción el Sr. Curley , quien ha logrado un vino de origen muy bueno, lo llaman Property Red Wine seco , con 60% Cabernet Suavignon , Cabernet Frank 20% y Merlot 20%, en realidad se poco de vinos pero en la degustacion y cata de sus variedades se aprende muchisimo . Luego te sirven el Cabernet Suavignon que es un Monticello Vineyard medianamente seco y con más sabor , de ahí te van llevando por varias clases de vino y te explican su sabor , hasta llegar al final , al vino , reserva de la reserva de 1998 , que es un vino muy neutro en sabor y densos en su consistencia que en realidad y no siendo experto en el tema y lo repito, su sabor era estupendo porque estaba neutralizado. Respecto al sitio , te muestran la bodega , como trabajan y manipulan el vino , hay dos tiendas de regalos y souvenirs una a la entrada de la finca y otra a la entrada de la bodega de vinos. Se nota orden y laboriosidad en el negocio , que debe ser difícil mantener en posición de buena calificación de producto porque los que si saben de vinos son personas con poder adquisitivo y muy exigentes . Felicitaciones al Sr Curley el enologo porque se nota que es esforzado en mantener buena calificación en su producto . La plantación es tecnificada y la casa de la familia Curley se ve desde afuera es muy bonita. La ubicación es en el Valle del río Napa , que está a unas 4 horas de viaje en carro desde Redding y a unas 7 a 8 horas de San Francisco CA. Dependiendo del tráfico. Gracias familia Curley por compartir con el público en general su conocimiento y divulgarlo.

Been to Monticello twice and it does not disappoint! Love their wines. Always have to take a few bottles of my favorites. It's a beautiful winery to spend a few hours wine tasting with friends.

We visited Monticello at Christmastime a decade ago, and found it a warm and welcoming and busy winery. The tasting in the cellar beneath proved the highlight of our week in the Valley; introducing us to the single vineyard wines State Lane, Yewell, and Tietjen. All were wonderful, and we’ve been delighted wine club members ever since. And, Thanks for making us feel like part of the Corley family.

My wife and I brought 6 out of town friends with us to the tour annd tasting. Everyone loved the beauty of Monticello and the wines, especially Chardonnay & Pinot Noir, were excellent. Our guide Gus was not only very informative but was also enjoyable to listen to. He has a great sense of humor. Before we had a chance to talk with Chris Corley which was very informative. This is a beautiful and elegant little winery that's worth a visit if you are in Napa. We had never visited Monticello before but enjoyed the grounds and the lovely wine tasting which we thought was quite affordable. It felt like a personalized experience and the Monticello staff was very charming, friendly and knowledgable about the wines and the history of the place. I also liked that we didn't need an appointment here, which you do at a lot of other wineries in the area. I especially enjoyed the chardonnay and my husband loved the pinot noir!

Was in town and wanted to grab a bottle of the Montreaux sparkling wine which I had tasted in Kansas City at an event highlighting Monticello wines. While I was being helped, they put out a call to see if Steve Corley was around and in the meantime was greeted by his wife. The two of them made me feel right at home. Will definitely do a full tasting when I have more time. Great wines!

This was one of the best wine tastings I've ever had! Everyone was extremely friendly, and very patient with our questions! They even let us go into their library as well as taste the wine straight from the barrel. I highly recommend this place, and am also considering becoming a wine club member. They are really passionate about what they do, and love teaching it to others.

Came from Toronto, Canada. The staff and wine were excellent. Our host Cinqutio (apologies if this is the incorrect spelling) was fantastic. She was very entertaining and knowledgable, adding personal connections to each wine we tasted. Would come here again!

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent wines! We had a party of 8 for my wife's birthday and we had a great experience! We sat outside in the shade and it was great. Cost was $50 per person for a tasting however if you purchase wine, the fee can be waived. Highly recommend this place!

Great environment, great service and even better wine.

Place is very beautiful! But service absolutely sucks :( we didn’t have an appointment for testing, so we just decided to buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the atmosphere. How much I was surprised when they brought us glasses for water. And when I said that I would want to drink not-the-most-cheapest-wine from proper glasses, they gave me such a look like I asked them for a million dollars. In the end I insisted on proper glasses, but overall experience was bad. They have never ever came to ask if we want something else. We were in the mood of buying a lot of wine for home and for friends, but preferred to spend money at different wine yard with much more attentive staff.

This was our first time in the Napa Valley. The winery grounds were very nice, and created a calming environment. Our winery server was very friendly and helpful with our selections for tasting. She also gave us the history of the winery and some Napa facts! We washed it with 2 bottles, the Proprietary Red Blend and the Pinot Noir! Would definitely return here!

Highly recommend visiting Monticello! John Rosa was fantastic—explained the various wines in an easy to understand, non-pedantic way! He was friendly, funny, and welcoming. The estate is gorgeous, with beautiful landscaping and roses and was a lovely place to spend the afternoon! And the wines—especially their Chardonnay—exquisite; we shipped several bottles home!

I had such an amazing tasting with Christina she has a world of knowledge about wines, well connected in the Napa Valley. Make sure you ask for her when doing a tasting you will not be disappointed.

There is no better winery to visit in Napa. It is truly one of the hidden gems of the Valley - one which I try to enjoy as much as I can before it becomes truly discovered.

Loved every minute of our tasting! The grounds are stunningly beautiful & so serene. We enjoyed the charcuterie add on and the staff even gave us some complimentary chocolates to celebrate the anniversary in our group!

I have to say the atmosphere at Monticello was outstanding. We were lucky to have John guide us through the tastings and I have to say, he is incredible! Very knowledgeable and welcoming. As we were enjoying our wines we got to meet Chris Corley who is an incredible person with a loving soul! You can tell he puts his heart into the wine and continues to provide a great experience for all his clients. We even got to hear him play the piano which was amazing. The wines are incredible. We purchased 3 of their bottles, the Pinot was delicious! I highly recommend you add this winery to your list! Thanks for a great time, Mark & Stephanie

Great wines, always lots of compliments when we entertain. Our friends love the wine as much as we do. They are the only winery that we like in shipping wines to us. Also, great discounts being a club member.

I’ve been to a number of wineries in Napa and besides the excellent wine here, the feature I particularly like is the flat grounds with the numerous mature trees providing shade. So there is a lot of space to spread out and a lot of different places to sit around outside and feel like you are at an old country estate. Makes sense, it’s named after Jefferson’s home. Really enjoy the ambiance here.

Wir waren zu einer Weinprobe da, für 50 $ und vier Proben hätte ich erwartet, dass dort mehr als ein Minitröpfchen ein gegossen wird, wie es bei anderen Proben der Fall ist. Dazu hat das ganze an einer Massenabfertigung erinnert, weil einfach kurz was gesagt wurde und wir alleine waren und immer nur jemand kam, um kurz ein zu gießen und um dann zu sagen wir sollen jetzt bezahlen. Das Weingut an sich hat eine schöne Atmosphäre und einen schönen Garten zum sitzen. Geschmacklich konnte uns auch nicht. Jeder war überzeugen und die Preise sind relativ kostspielig.

Lovely wine tour of their facilities and a very delicious tour through four of their wines. My favorite was the Cab. I loved that they educated us about their wines and the Valley. It was a very personable experience that I will cherish.
