Friendly employees and great coffee/pastry

My go to coffee spot, the chai is so good! You have to try the pop tarts as well! The first time I came here over a year ago they gave me a free sticker, now I always leave stickers in the tip jar with my tip, my artists friend from Scotland send me a bunch so I leave them around Main Street, because who doesn’t love stickers! I put my mountaineer one on my laptop. Anyways, I love you Mountaineer! The vibes are always chill, the people are sweet, always making conversation, I used to live in Spring Hill and I know they have a location there, next time I’m over there I definitely want to check it out! You can’t go wrong with this place, every time friends visit I bring them here 🩶

This tiny coffee shop whips up some delicious coffee! Ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte and it was perfect.

Mountaineer coffee is the place to go why because the beautiful women that work there and the coffee is actually pretty good , the cold brew to take home and I Americana with extra shot we all agree, that's the family. this is a very unique coffee House I highly recommend it give it a try and you'll be pleased and guarantee you'll come back.

Very solid but not great, pastries were a bit dry and the matcha didn’t taste super high quality. Not expensive though.

Was riding my bike around downtown and stumbled upon this gem, Mountaineer Coffee. The coffee? Superb. The vibes? chill. Plus, the staff makes you feel like you’re one of the regulars. Asked for the barista’s favorite and she mentioned a vanilla honey latte- turned out great with an extra shot. Don’t miss out on their outdoor seating—perfect for sipping and people-watching. Whether you're local or just cruising through, make sure to stop by. Trust me, it's worth it! Forgot to take a picture before I almost finished my drink it was so good.

I’m quite the coffee snob, and this place is amazing. This was our go to coffee spot while visiting. The staff were also super sweet :)

Always super fast and friendly service. Not to mention THE BEST coffee I’ve ever had. I get an iced cortado with oat milk and Carmel and omg the price and taste blow those chains out of the water every time. I love that it’s not too far off 19 in NPR too. The homemade pop tarts are delicious too!

It was brief but, it was cozy comfortable environment and the staff was amiable.

Ordered Americano. It did not taste good at all. Tasted like chemicals. Used tap water, not filtered water. I would not stop there again.

Slim food, but good coffee and a nice space !

Was passing through town and wanted a coffee and stopped here. Big car park right next door (for the park I think so no issue parking here to grab a coffee) Small place with only a few tables inside (plus two outside as well) The girl serving was very pleasant and most important the latte was really nice. Not overly strong but had a lovely creamy texture and good flavour. Really appreciate that they go down to an 8oz size for those of us who don't always want a massive cup of coffee. Definitely recommend.

Hands down the best coffee shop in town. Great coffee and even better food. I can't remember the last time I had a real gingerbread cookie, so good!

Absolutely fantastic service with some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. They make most of not all of their syrups in house and the lavender is to die for. It’s a small shop with a cozy seating area and simple menu. Great location next to Sims Park with plenty of accessible parking nearby. Worth a stop if you’re anywhere near the area, and even if you aren’t. :)

Always a great cup of coffee, but the baristas here are also super helpful with tons of local knowledge. I like a good cup of coffee, don't get me wrong. But I LOVE great customer service!

I came on a Saturday mid morning for a bag of roasted espresso whole beans. I have to say that parking was not easy near the shop. I had to cheat in a tow away zone.

I absolutely love this café. Not only do I get the opportunity to support local businesses, but the coffee and treats are always so scrumptious! All the baristas are so friendly, and they even love to pet my dogs when I bring them in!

They handled a VERY LARGE crowd (over 100) in 30 minues and did an EXCELLENT job with everyone's different orders and keeping the flow going. You guys worked great under pressure and do a fabulous job every other time I have been here as well!

I'm surprised I haven't left a review earlier, considering I visit about three times a week! Better latte than never, right? Lol. The coffee is fantastic, the staff is always welcoming, and those GF cookies, that's my jam. Solid 5/5 for Mountaineer from me!

Had a great cup of coffee! I ordered the Americano (hot) with cream and sugar. It was so good! I also got a muffin that was fresh and delicious. Next time I'm back in New Port Richey, I'll be back for another cup.

Staff was super friendly, I had an iced chai latte and a homemade Oreo poptart. Both were actually delicious. They also sell super cute glass straws.

Beautiful Saturday morning with a delicious chai latte. Barista was super pleasant.

My iced oat milk latte was made as good as it can get, which m definitely made this coffee drinker happy. The barista, Katie is a sweetheart and it's obvious that she knows how to pull good shots of espresso. I'll be back!

They roast coffee on-site. The Roastmaster was kind enough to explain the roasting process to me. I had a cup of the Guatemalan coffee and it was so good I bought a bag of it to bring home. Made my first cup of it this morning and it's exceptionally good! Super fresh, chocolatey aroma, wonderful!
