The environment is amazing, we had a great time and great coffee. The owner is very friendly and personable. I really enjoyed our visit there and will definitely be returning!!

Mzizi is the absolute definition of "exceptional". I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing this place for the very first time on the morning of my wedding day, when let me tell you absolutely nothing was going right, and stress was at an all-time high. I had last minute alternations, missing shoes, missing groomsmen... but sitting down for 5 minutes to enjoy a coffee in this incredibly relaxing atmosphere was exactly what I needed. From the second I walked in the door, Hasan resonated an aura of peace and welcome, saying "I see you brother, welcome." His calming and joyous demeanor was contagious. He is a genuinely caring, generous, and nice person. We spent a couple extra minutes talking about latte art, beans, his homeland. It was a wonderful way to easy my mind on an otherwise difficult morning. Mzizi is also situated in a prime location, where almost no luxury cafe exists as a substitute. I lived in Marietta (on Mabry road mind you) on and off for over 20 years, and, let me tell you, I can't believe I missed this place for all this time haha. But, they say timing is everything, and I found it just when I needed it most, so cheers to that. Their coffee and beans are also delicious. I was gifted some of their beans, and they are some of the best tasting espresso beans I have had, and I have tried many many beans. I can't recommend this place enough. It's the prime coffee spot in this area, hands down. It was my absolute pleasure to have met you, Hasan. Thanks for your generosity and love. Never change, sir.

It is always good to support Hassane and the Cafe. The coffee was great and the service was top notch.

Twice now I’ve come at 8 AM, which is the posted opening hours, and it hasn’t been open. I’ve also waited for a little while and no one‘s ever come to open up. You should definitely update the hours on Google maps because it seems like 8 AM is not the actual time for opening.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The service was friendly and the atmosphere warm. It gives close community vibes and I really enjoy that vibe. The server double/triple checked with my order (it was very specific). I’m in town briefly for a training but will return when returning to the area.

Hidden Gem. So far this is my favorite coffee shop in Marietta-Roswell-Smyrna area. I like to stay away from all the mega coffee stores with all the added ingredients. I really appreciate a great coffee, if you are like me, this is the place to go. The owner will treat you with respect and kindness, soon enough you’ll be like family. You’ll thank me later. and you’ll be supporting a small business to stay alive providing the best product and service there is.

The drip coffee roasted and brewed at Mzizi is truly excellent. But the owner who serves you is even better. A truly kind and good man, whom we very much are proud to be patrons of. He takes his time to serve his customers well, so come with patience and enjoy a rare place that genuinely appreciates your business.

By chance I entered this cafeteria, and I was pleasantly surprised. First time trying Ethiopian coffee. I loved its flavor, I ordered a latte and a muffin (Raspaberry-lemon) also delicious. The attention was excellent. I would highly recommend it for lovers of coffee and new flavors.

Today I stumbled upon Mzizi Coffee Roasters for the first time, and it certainly won’t be the last. Not only was the coffee excellent (I had a honey cinnamon latte that warmed me inside and out), but the atmosphere here was so warm and welcoming!!! Amazing coffee and tea! I highly recommend the London Fog tea; it's a family favorite. The pastries are delicious, too. However, the best part of Mzizi is the wonderful atmosphere the owner creates. He's very kind and personable. I always enjoy chatting with him when I visit.

It is an African coffee and the African owner will make you feel like you are sitting in his own home. The environment is so cozy. He sells the coffee beans as well. What a gem!

Best little coffee shop in East Cobb! Come into Mzizi Coffee Roasters for the best coffee! You'll be greeted by the owner Hassane with a warm and welcoming smile and he will prepare a cup of your favorite beverage just for you and he will prepare it with love. Such a Joy to visit this shop, featuring coffee he roasted himself. I didn't try any of the sweet treats, though they looked amazing and I do believe I'll have to get back there soon for some Tiramisu! A nice, simple menu, oh and did I mention he makes his own syrups for the flavored varieties? I was quite impressed by this shop and so happy to see that all of his customers know him. Feels like a small town place with your local friends. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. 😊

The coffee was freshly roasted, evenly balanced with the milk. The owner was one of the most kind, genuine people I have ever encountered. I'm just in town for the week, but will definitely be going back. They also have a light assortment of pastries and wifi is fast.

Have you ever wondered, 'Can coffee dream?'. And if so, did you wonder if it dreams of chocolate? Well, you're wrong. And so was I. It dreams of being brewed at Mzizi's. Okay, silliness aside, this man knows how to pour a cup of coffee, how to carry a top notch conversation, and how not to scald the milk while juggling the other two. BRAVO

I walked in and the dude behind the bar said, “Thank you for coming in. I’m gonna make you the best coffee you’ve ever had.” Turns out he did. It was the best tasting latte I’ve had in a long, long time.

Don't get me wrong the coffee drinks I ordered were great, I ordered a cappuccino and latte. But I wasn't feeling the service, Mziz's energy came off rude, especially after I paid for my drinks it seemed like I was being rushed out of there. And Mziz's drinks are a tad bit high also, I would highly suggest that the bathroom have some remodeling and renovations work done to it. As I can see why some people previously left bad google reviews about the appearance of the bathroom. Drinks were great but I most likely will not return back. 3/5

After driving by this place for a few years, I finally decided to try their coffee and I left blown away. The owner is the sweetest person and the shop feels super cozy and welcoming. I ended up getting an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it had the perfect balance of acidity and tartness. Highly, highly recommend this place!

Most important. The owner is a genuinely nice and caring person. He is appreciative of his customers, and he gets to know them as a community. The coffee is great. Every drink made is lovely but I’m partial to their cortados. I’m usually a cappuccino drinker but the espresso is smooth and flavorful so I prefer less milk and sugar. I’ve worked entire days there before too. It’s a great atmosphere.

I love local coffee shops. To me they are like a nice family owned restaurant as opposed to McDonalds. You pay a little more than you would at McDonald (or Starbucks in this case) and maybe wait slightly longer but the quality and atmosphere is so much better. Drop in and enjoy the experience of locally roasted coffee.

The atmosphere at Mzizi is really great, with a mix of family, friends, and visitors that have made each of my many visits special.
