Eh. Maybe I’ve just been spoiled and had great Indian food up until now but everything we got was kinda disappointing. Seemed unfinished and not great quality ingredients. For the price, I wouldn’t return.

We have driven by this restaurant 10,000 times. We finally stopped and tried it. Fantastic! The people there were nice to us and cared. We will return. I am a vegetarian and had no problem.

Outstanding Indian Restaurant in Rio Rancho. Have had their take out a few times and finally dined in the other evening. It was just a good. Lots of options for food. All of it is very good. Was not expecting to find this level of Indian Food in New Mexico.

It's my first time trying Nepalese food. Hmm, personally I like it, a bit of similarity with Indian food yet different. It's running by Nepalese family. I never tried Nepalese food before hence I believe it's authentic, at least not too localized from the taste :) I came with 2 of my colleagues, they are Vietnamese. We did enjoy the food. Overall, the food are nice, specially the dishes with lamb. A restaurant that you shall try for something different. I personally like the atmosphere of this restaurant too. For my next visit, I want to try their Briyani, would like to compare the difference with Indian or my home town, Melaka (Malaysia)'s Briyani :) See you again!!!

Great food, but service was slow.

This is the best Indian/Nepalese food I have had in a while. The owners are amazing( sweet and hospitable). The food is light and delicious. Love this restaurant.

We have been going to Namaste for years. Our whole family loves it, even the babies.

So far the best Indian restaurant I have been to in Albuquerque! The foods was great, loved the atmosphere and service. Favorite food was their aloo paratha, which was smothered in real ghee. The vindaloo and samosa were good too. The nuns were crispy and freshly made.

Absolutely delicious authentic cuisine. Great friendly service. I am a regular customer anytime I am in the area. I enjoy the palate cleaning spices available as you exist and parking is easy and plentiful.

I tried this place several years ago for their lunch buffet. It was hands down the worst Indian buffet I have ever been to. Tonight I gave them another chance. I had the lamb vindaloo, lamb tikka masala and garlic naan. I must say, the service was awesome, but the food is the second worst Indian food I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't horrible as far as being edible in general. It's just that it was nowhere near as good as what I have had at home in Minneapolis MN. I would only eat here again if I was forced to live here and had no other options for Indian food.

If you love Indian food, this is the place to go. The service was good, and the staff friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is ok; nothing fancy. The interior of the building is nicer than the exterior of the building. But the food - that is what is important here. Simply amazing. I have never been to India. But I have been to Jordan and the Middle East where I've had outstanding Indian food. This reminds me of that. I have the Chicken Vindaloo. If you like spicy, I highly recommend. It is pretty spicy though; but in the best of ways. My wife had the Remshi Chicken which was beautifully cooked and moist. There is a little heat to it, so just be aware. My daughter had the Lamb pot stickers which were surprisingly flavorful. Desert: The Mango Custard was a huge let down. The flavor was there, but it was not a custard - it was a soup. But the Gulab Jamun was really good. Pricing was pretty fair. Three meals and three desserts plus sodas = $80. Please give this place a try. Highly recommend; especially if you have never experienced authentic Indian cuisine.

WOW. This was my husband, and my first time eating here, and we were absolutely blown away. Not only is the food, five star quality, but the service is by far the best in Albuquerque. The staff was extremely on top of things, and our drinks were never empty!

I had lunch at Nameste today for the first time. Based on reviews, I was very excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We both had the buffet which looked pretty good but really was just ok. I have had a lot of really good Indian food, along with some passable and mediocre. I would rate this as passable, but not a restaurant I plan on giving a second chance. The sauces were both too thin and not very flavorful. I had two dishes that I have had many times and both were just plain boring and the flavors were off. The best things in the buffet were the samosas and the chutneys. The service was ok, but not great. They didn’t bring us bread until we had both practically finished our meals. Oh well, hopefully there is better Indian food around

First thing I noticed as we took a seat was the cleanliness! Our food was delicious. My first time trying this restaurant! It was very good and tasty! I'll need to come for the buffet to try a variety of what this restaurant has to offer!

I've been to almost every Indian restaurant in Albuquerque, but I decided to drive to Rio Rancho because Namaste has high ratings and I used to like it years ago. Sadly, their buffet food was extremely bland and plain. I was desperate for hot sauce, which for some reason, wasn't available with the buffet chutneys. The server brought out a tiny quarter-teaspoon of chili paste upon request. Their vegetarian options were dominated by beige carbs, like noodles and potatoes. The mushrooms weren't even in a masala sauce; instead the mushrooms were sautéed with barely any seasoning. I was wishing for well-spiced gobi (cauliflower) or eggplant, which you can find absolutely delicious versions of elsewhere in Albuquerque! I wouldn't call flavorless food like this authentic or international. If you still want to try Namaste, maybe because you enjoy plain food or something, remember their lunch buffet is only offered three days a week.

Namaste had delicious food in large portions, great service, and a good atmosphere. The Chicken Tikka plate had veggies, saag paneer, chicken masala, rice, dip, and came with soup/salad and naan. So tasty! Highly recommend this place if you want good Indian/Nepal food that's not overly spiced.

Was reluctant to go here, I don't like buffets. I'm glad a went at my husband's request. This food was amazing. They provided plastic to use to serve yourself.

My husband and I love Namaste. When I was in my 20's and 30's, I traveled through and lived in parts of India. The food here is on point. I particularly love the chicken korma. And more than being delicious, the family who owns Namaste are lovely. It always feels like family there.

Fantastic as always, excellent food, ambience and service.

I've never had sad Indian food, until now. Which breaks my heart because I love Indian food, unfortunately everything here was under-seasoning, not cooked with care or time. Everything was also either watery, or dry. Not even close to being worth the price for pick up, small portions.

This was the first and last time coming to the Restaurant if I could give zero stars on customer service I would opt for that option. The buffet offered limited options with mediocre food quality (I have been to India and have tried authentic Indian and Nepali cuisine). The experience took a turn to the worse when one of the owners scolded me for my food choices and waste of food when the food was tasting old and cold (chicken tandoori, rice and goat curry). She was remarkably rude. I attempted to adress the issue calmly, suggesting that there were more respectful ways to communicate such concerns . When paying for the food, the cashier, owner , continued the trend of rudeness. I opted to not leave a tip due to the poor service, I expressed my dissatisfaction. Their response was surprisingly indifferent, and dismissive, conveying a lack of concern for customers satisfaction. The overall experience, was very disrespectful treatment from the owners.

Incredibly delicious food and great service!

Namaste has been a staple for years living in Rio Rancho. They have authentic Indian and Nepalese dishes, and the buffet is always fresh and delicious. The staff goes above and beyond each time I eat here. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Best Indian food in New Mexico!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Rio Rancho. Visiting ABQ for couple of weeks. Stopped by on Sunday for their lunch buffet and it was great. Staff are great and helpful. $15.95 lunch buffet, worth it all. Great food.

Updated review 19 Nov 2023 - We had dinner at opening once again, last evening! Chicken Saag and Shrimp Biryani were the new items we tried this time, in addition to some of our favorites, and both were very tasty! The service was still just as amazing. I'd washed my hands in the restroom after once again eating Tandoori Chicken Wings; they keep it clean and functioning. A few new pics are included in this update! 10 Nov 2023 - We dined in here again last night, our second visit within a week, right after it opened for dinner. Once again, we experienced incredible food and service, and it's still very much popular on a Thursday night! We couldn't resist having more of the Tandoori Chicken Wings, regular Naan, and Chicken Biryani; for new dishes and items, we had the Paneer Pakora, Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic Naan, and cheese Naan - all of which were divine. Check out the new pics! I was able to get a shot of the dining area before it filled up. Our first time eating here was 4 Nov 2023, just after they opened for dinner. This was also my first time eating Indian food, and I didn't know what to expect. The amazing smells as you walk up to the door, are enough to make you salivate. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly and smiling faces, and even got to pick our own seating. The restaurant is beautiful inside; it's simple elegance and so clean. Our server poured us water as soon as we sat down and also brought us complimentary papadum with two sauces - all of which were delicious. The menu has so many appealing options! There is truly something for everyone. I found the dish I wanted to try very quickly, then looked at the rest of the menu out of curiosity. My significant other ordered the Chicken Curry and Chicken Biryani; I ordered the Karahi Chicken. Our appetizer was the Tandoori Chicken Wings, which were the best chicken wings I've ever eaten in my entire life - and I'm picky about wings! The Chicken Specialties came with Naan, and lots of it! We both had some of everything we ordered and loved it. We chose regular spice but having at least medium spice would have been great, too. The flavors of everything, even the Naan, were pure perfection. Indian food has easily become my new favorite food, all because of this wonderful restaurant. Delicious is an understatement! Our server and everyone we encountered here, delivered spectacular service and made us feel so welcome. We have zero complaints, as literally everything about our first dine-in experience here was phenomenal. We WILL be back! It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but by the time we were finished and leaving, so many people had come in to eat and for pick-up orders. It's clearly a popular place, and now we know why! I cannot recommend Namaste more. If you haven't eaten here, or have never had Indian food, this is where you want to go!

The food is incredible here go for the Sunday lunch buffet if you can bet everything is good here I mean everything. I usually leave here weighing about 40 more pounds than I should like to take my family here after church and I’m going to wait the hour for them to open we get out of church at 10:30 and they open at 11:30. We’ll worth the wait. They have great rice and wings and chicken Marsala. The servers are great never let your glass run dry and always have a smile on their faces!!! Very polite and the owner is like a warrior queen in there with here workers making sure the battle is won. Great job. You should see them in a crown y’all

Nice cozy place with good Indian food . Quite different from most other local restaurants in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Not spicy. Toned down spices for most average customers. Good selection of sauces and chutneys

The people at this establishment are the best. Always nice, always the best service. The food is so delicious. I’ve been coming here for years. I asked for extra ginger and garlic and they brought it out right away. I love this place.

By far the best Indian food I've had in the US (and I used to work next to Curry Hill in NYC) and definitely in my top restaurants in the Albuquerque area. Tried nearly everything on the menu and have loved every dish. Also, the owner employees are wonderful people. It feels like visiting family when we go, which is as often as we can afford it.

I always love going to Namaste's! The workers are amazing, they always have the best attitudes and go above and beyond with their service and food. They are also very generous with their portions!

Hands down the best place on the Westside, and not just because it’s the only one! Ha ha. From the moment we looped around their one way parking lot to the moment we devoured dessert, everything was spectacular. We were seated right away, with only a few tables left on a Thursday night. After seated with waters ready, we got the Indian version of chips and salsa, papadums and chutney. The chutney is something I wish I had bottled and on hand for everything. We ended up getting a second side of the chutney for our chicken pakora, which was crispy yet housed the most succulent chicken I’ve had in a while. Dinner was a Lamb and Chicken Combo Platter with an accompaniment of shrimp biryani. The basmati was fantastic and flavorful and the sides on the platter were just as delicious as the moist lamb and the yummy grilled chicken legs. Dessert was similar to rice pudding, but the saffron just boosted the whole flavor profile and kept it authentically Indian. Will definitely return to this lighthearted, charming, and welcome restaurant in Rio Rancho.

This place is delicious. One of the better options for Indian food in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho. Authentic taste and quality ingredients. Definitely will be back. Had the chicken Tikka masala and lamb korma, both were extraordinary.

I've eaten alot of food from India and I also cook it. Namaste is a wonder, to find food from Nepal is unusual and moreover to find the quality of the meals offered at Namastes can only be found in India and the UK. The atmosphere is impeccable only exceeded by the cleanliness and service. Do yourself a favor and experience food from India at it's finest.

We had the lunch buffet which featured a good variety of items, both vegetable and meat based. They have a set of staples and then a rotating selection of two meat and two vegetable dishes. Altogether, a good meal at a decent price. I enjoyed being able to sample the different dishes. Next time, I'll play around with some of the sauces they offer. Our server did a fantastic job of keeping the table cleared of used plates and filling our drinks.

Every one there was awesome they were so polite nice and so respectful i not use to tht kind of service or people being nice to me, when i walked into the restaurant it through me off a little bit cause im a scary looking guy covered in tattoos .but i love this place 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The tikka masala was superb, my friend could not stop sopping up the sauce with his naan. The customer service was average but the food more than made up for any deficiencies in service. Definitely sad I left the leftovers behind.

Definitely some of the best Indian food I have ever had! We had the Tikki Masala, Green Chile Curry and vegetable samosa and wow we will definitely be back! Also much more affordable compared to other Indian places in Albuquerque/ Rio Rancho! Update a year later and STILL the best Indian and service ... I promise if you like Indian food you will love this place and the service is IMMACULATE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Oh my gawd. This is Rio Rancho's best kept secret. We went for the lunch buffet because not everyone can do good Indian food. Namaste though, my god. They know their Indian food. The service was so accommodating even for how busy they were. The food was amazing, and the buffet was so clean and fresh that we will be back for dinner to try even more of the food!

Had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Biryani, both were delicious. Generous portions and packed well too (takeout). Friendly staff as well.

Love this place, my wife is from India and although it's a mix of Nepalese and Indian. Very warm people and great food! We rake everyone here and will continue as long g as the food and service stays AMAZING!

I am a frequent traveler to the UK, where Indian cuisine is one of the most popular and arguably the best in the world. The curry at Namaste is the only place in NM that can compete in this class. They will make it as spicy as you like but the food never looses its flavor. The lamb Vindaloo and Saag Paneer are some of my favorites. The staff are wonderful and provide service quickly and thoughtfully. I have eaten their lunch buffet, many times, and always been satisfied. The food really shines at dinner, however. The to-go options are also very well packaged and are perfect after a long day at work.

Delicious food , big portions, and very nice owners.

The food is amazing! My favorite is the Saag paneer & Chicken Tikka masala. They are so attentive. We never go without something we need for very long. And lastly the staff is so very kind. We feel right at home every time we eat at Namaste!! I hear their buffet is amazing....I have yet to try it but it's on my list of things to do
