I sometimes dine in, mostly I pickup. When it’s cold or I am sick I love their rare steak and meatball pho. In the summer I go with the vermicelli noodle bowl #62. I also love their fried pork eggrolls and the pork spring rolls. I am a longtime customer and they never disappoint.

Really good food...but the service not so much we got our food right away but had to wait for napkins and silverware.

This Pho broth is very light in flavor. I was just hoping for a bit more punch out of a spiced beef broth. Good Banh mi.

We walked in about an hour to close with a party of 15. There was no frustration and the staff was great. The owner of this restaurant is a really good guy. Good sense of humor and he is welcoming of families with small children. The food was delicious and served fast. I will definitely be returning 👍🏼

Delicious real broth! definitely not instant, plenty of herbs, includes sriracha and hosin. Their competition down the street charged me for sriracha and tasted instant. Don’t feel regret just wait for them to open!

Great friendly knowledgeable service and some of the best VN food I’ve had this side of the Pacific. Very flavorful broth and sauces and authentic VN cuisine. Kudos to Pho Bar.

First time customer during my business trip. Hands down one of the most affordable Pho restaurants in Rio Rancho. Ordered medium plate of soup and after it was brought, realized that small would be more then plenty. Keep in mind, medium size bowl will get you more then full. Very tasty food and friendly staff. Will definitely return. This place is one of the lowest prices of Pho food and They conveniently accept Apple Pay

Had shrimp spring rolls and pork spring rolls. Both were very good. We ordered Pho and Spicy Lemongrass soup, very disappointed. Reminded me more of a caldo de res, very greasy taste. Thai Iced Coffee took forever and was way too sweet. Will not be going back.

So we love the pho bar hate that it cLoses Sunday. The phood of is phabulous pun ! But guy’s restaurant 101……Both servers are not germ conscious one gal is scooping out food with her bare ungloved hand so she can stack bowls for easier bussing. Our server sticking her ungloved fingers in the used drink tumblers while bussing. Use buss trays or gloves. I’m pretty sure they didn’t wash there hands when they served our meals that were again phabulous. Owner if you take the time to reply I would appreciate it Oh the force tip technique is also a turn off. Standard tips are 15 % before tax

Their fresh rolls are one of the freshest I have had across having tried several Vietnamese restaurants. Pho is excellent too and service is pretty quick and the pricing overall is reasonable.

I'm a first-time customer, and this place is wonderful! Even though they were understaffed, the service and attitude were excellent. So much delicious food, especially the pho, porkchops, and ice cream! Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

Great food and service! We had a tofu sandwich, wraps, and a vegetarian soup. All were very good. The only negative is a $1.50 charge for paying with a card.

Our go-to pho place. The rare steak pho is tasty with a rich, savory broth. We usually order fried egg rolls or fresh spring rolls to start, and the lemongrass beef Bahn mi is the best I've ever had.

We had a brisket pho and a lemon grass stir fry on rice. The lemon grass stir fry does not come with any sauce, or veggies which was odd. We did get a side of veggies to put on top of the dish but it was still relatively flavorless. The brisket in the pho was also very bland. The pho itself was ok, only the meat was bland. Service was exceptional and there may be other dishes to order from here.

Got some take out while having some drinks at Brew Lab next door and they were gracious enough to let me borrow a noodle bowl. The pho was top notch, highly recommended.

Had there S-3 with pork. It was delicious. I'm hooked.

Use to enjoy the pho here and the service but, not sure what's been happening. New management maybe? No flavor, the broth is water and the service is minimal. Super sad. Springrolls are still good!

Never disappoints. Pho is phenomenal and so is the service. Love the Thai ice tea or Vietnamese coffee. The Banh Mi sandwiches are great. Must have eaten here over 25 times.

Some of the customers were on the loser end of the spectrum, being foul and rude to wait staff just because they could but other than that it's the restaurant itself is awesome.

I don’t eat here often, I prefer Saigon 2 for pho, but when I do order from here I usually get the same dish. #58. It’s delicious. The food is good, my issue is the service. Most times I can’t get someone on the phone to order ahead for takeout, so I drive over and wait sometimes 10mins before someone says hello! If I eat in the servers seem clueless and have a hard time to remember the order. I get they are sometimes short staff so half star for that but I don’t ever feel invited or welcome to eat there. Just not personable.

The worst service ever. Literally go eat anywhere else but here.

Called in an order for their bahn mi and egg rolls. Service was friendly for take out. However, the bahn mi did not taste fresh and ended up being tossed. The pork egg rolls were tasty, though I didn't like the sauce that came with it (tasted old). The Thai Iced Tea tasted good, too. Won't eat here again.

In my opinion, this is the best pho in town, including Albuquerque. Very traditional, very tasty. Their appetizers were also delicious. Been in here a few time and they haven't disappointed me yet!

This is our go to restaurant in Rio Rancho for Pho. They are fast and the food is always delicious. Whether you’re dinning in or getting takeout. I highly recommend.

We go to Pho Bar very often and lately the service hasn't been the greatest, except for one waitress. Always new faces when we go in every time and they are brand new and don't know what they're doing, when we walked in we weren't greeted just got asked rudely if it was for here or to go? Then told us to sit wherever, high chairs were dusty and unkept cleaned it myself, after we ordered they came back about 15 mins later and said they didn't have Wi-Fi on their phone so the ticket never went through so we waited another 20-25 mins for our food, with a toddler believe me that's not always easy. Then when they brought our food out they messed up my toddlers plate, and my fiancés plate, had to send back and wait longer, but the waitress said I need to look at the ticket instead of taking our word for it, I know what we ordered hence we've been going here for so long. Oh and to add to it our check came out to over 73 dollars when. Normally we would spend about 50 usually, no discount added or anything for all the problems and an added non cash fee to our ticket on top of it all, Sad to say we won't be returning here anymore.

This used to be our favorite spot. Is this place under new management or what in the world happened? We ordered our food and waited an HOUR, nobody checked on us or our food…nothing. We finally asked and the girl said our ticket was lost and order never placed. If you have customers sitting there for a very long time with no food common sense would tell you something isn’t right. We walked out and will never return!!

Went tonight for dinner on 10/5/2022. Service was awful. My mom food came out before mine and I had to sit there and wait for my food to be brought out. Before my food was brought out, my moms food was already cold. If you serve one persons food, you also serve the other persons as well. This place is also new ownership. The food taste different, the atmosphere is different, everything about this place is just different.

#33 Brisket Pho, shrimp sausage on sugarcane, #62 grilled pork with egg rolls and noodles and fried butterflied shrimps. All flavors were excellent and consistent. I always look forward to our next visit.

Surprised with takeout order. Ordered 3 entrées, only had 2 when I arrived home. Called back and spoke to Stephanie (manager), she said that they were supposed to tell me that 1 of the ordered entrée was not available. Call taker did not mention that when I placed the order. When I picked up order, no one let me know that 1 entrée order was not filled. The sad circumstance is that the manager made excuses and made it seem that I was partly responsible. Also, the meat for the pho we ordered was so fatty and hardly had any meat.

Service was phenomenal. The waitress was on top of it! Food was okay and price is average.

This used to be my favorite restaurant and I was looking forward to going again for a nice Saturday night dinner but noticed they're closed weekends. Terrible and inconvenient hours for anyone who has a normal job. I honestly do not know when ill be able to visit again as I work fulltime and don't have time during the week to go out to eat. Pho Bar please rethink your open hours.

This place had good reviews so we went to check it out. Service is terrible. We were never given utensils so I had to go grab them. The waitress forgot our drink. We asked for the appetizer to be served first and came altogether. The appetizer was a large soup and we were not given enough spoons or even bowls to share. The shrimp had legs so it was not properly cleaned. The fried rice bland and the food did not look like in their photos. The waitress never came to check if we were OK: serve the food, said she was coming back with utensils and left. Never saw her again. Their staff needs to be trained, it wasn’t even that busy. Disappointed. We are not coming back.

As much as I do not like giving businesses bad reviews, Pho Bar has slowly been going down the drain. Ever since they hired this new manager. The whole quality of customer service has disappeared too! As much as I loved going to Pho Bar and recommending it to friends and family, I will no longer do so. Replace this current manager you have or just shut down the Pho Bar, they are sinking your business Owner of Pho Bar!

It’s been a few weeks since I visited the Pho bar and will probably be the last time I visit the establishment. The food is great tasting, but service is somewhat a hit or miss. Sometimes they are on the money with prompt service and sometimes they are slow as molasses. I have been this establishment several times and it is not like the restaurant is overly busy, so that is why I am saying their service is a hit or miss. I will most probably not be returning to this establishment because the last time I was there I noticed on my bill a non-cash surcharge. I have not seen this before but I see it is becoming a little more popular with restaurants. I asked why I wasn’t informed of this prior to paying my bill, but never received a good answer. I wrote on the bill “since you are now charging a non-cash surcharge I reduced the tip that was supposed to go to the waitress.” The waiter/waitress shouldn’t be penalized, but the restaurant should have at least informed me that that there was a non-cash surcharge and I would have paid cash.

I really hate to put a one star here because it used to be my favorite place to go. The service here is just awful now. I don't know where the regular employees went but they should bring them back or have them retrain these people. I waited for 40 minutes for someone to take my order last time I went. It was horrible. Then every single time I place a to go order they get it wrong. I love the food but won't go back just due to the service.

This was my first time trying this place. Girl at front counter was very helpful as I didn’t know what to order. I liked what I had but, I need to eat there because I got take out. Looking forward to going back.

Go to Viet Rice. They have wonderful attentive and friendly staff. Don't waste your time at pho bar anymore.. I don't know what's happened in here but as long as they keep the current manager they might as well close the doors. She was by far the rudest most inept human being I've had to deal with in quite some time. N-E-V-E-R did anyone come to our table to check on us after we received our food. I ordered stir fried egg noodles, they dumped so much soy sauce on them they were inedible and I love salt. We shared the salad while I waited for a server.. we were going to order another salad and see if we could get more noodles to fix the noodle dish. The food is usually very good and I figured it was a fixable issue. But the server manager came to our table and without a word took the food and left. Not asking us. Then when I confronted her at the register she rudely snapped that I said I wasn't going to eat them.. I N-E-V-E-R said that and nobody ever came to speak to us or anyone else for that matter. I told her we were waiting to get a box and place another order and she snapped 'the kitchen is closed'!... They are going to be closed on weekends due to a serious staff shortage according to the signs. A staff shortage is absolutely NO excuse to treat customers this horrifically. You might as well keep it closed if you can only hire rude abusive managers. I really enjoyed the food here and this used to be a favorite restaurant but I will not be returning here. To the owner STOP hiring substandard managers to run your business into the ground by running off all your customers. Bye Felicia

Their #33-Brisket Soup is great. The medium bowl is more than enough for one person and it's under $10.00. This is my feel good restaurant. I am NEVER disappointed and always say " Man, I love how it makes me feel when I eat at Pho Bar."

Been coming here for almost 10 years, the service is always great and the staff are always professional, the food is amazing as well.

Being new to Pho, I asked for recommendations and got some spring rolls, beef pho and a noodle bowl. The bowl was only served with fish sauce and it didn't set well with me (I probably should have just asked for a different sauce), and there were just so many noodles. The pho was delicious, and the grilled chicken spring rolls were good as well. It seemed to be unusually busy and it took about 20 minutes to get our check.

I love the pho here. Adding veggies to it makes the meal complete for me. Servings are large enough to fill you up and you'll likely be able to take some home too

Pho Ga and shrimp spring rolls are my go to foods at any Vietnamese restaurant anywhere in the world. So I feel happy to have lucked out with great spring rolls/peanut sauce and pho broth in Rio Rancho. I always get takeaway and the staff is helpful and courteous and the food comes out fast. I order from here every week and have no plans to stop. Only complaint is I wish the takeaway wasn’t in styrofoam….

Easy to find location with fresh and large portion sizes. Tremendous value for the money and prompt friendly service. The only reasons I couldn't give 5 stars on this visit revolve around the seating. The staff typically seat all parties in booth seating in the center of the restaurant. However, the booth seats are so close to the tables that larger patrons may feel uncomfortable. Also, when dining in the day, one side of the table faces into the brightly lit windows making it impossible to see anyone you may be seated with or speaking to. Best recommendation I can give is suggest either the staff make some minor adjustments to the seating arrangements, request a table instead of booth, or dine in the evening.

Service has quickly gone downhill. The usual guy who works the front wasn’t in and this new person seemed angry to be there. A lot of new faces. Out of stock on things. The pho had one branch of cilantro, an entire tree of mint, and two small slices of jalapeño. I guess this is the times we are living in now. The biggest issue I have with this place is their phone is constantly busy and can never get ahold of anyone.

I seek out Vietnamese every where I travel and Pho Bar is one of the best I have found anywhere. Classic Vietnamese fare with a full menu with all the traditional dishes. Excellent spring rolls, peanut sauce, and Bun. The service was great and the surroundings low key but comfortable. And the prices were very very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking excellent Vietnamese food at a great price.

Used to be amazing but they ruined the chicken broth and now it's basically the same as the beef instead of being it's own thing.
