Nice quaint quick sushi spot! Worth a visit if you are in the area!

Best sushi and overall food I have ever had I will never go anywhere else !!

We stumbled upon this gem thanks to its excellent reviews when we googled for sushi in the area. It did NOT disappoint. Don’t let the fairly non-descript strip mall location fool you…. Inside the atmosphere is peaceful, relaxed, very friendly service and the sushi might be the best we’ve had in New Jersey. I had the OMG roll… amazing. And we shared the pork gyoza which were perfectly crunchy anbd flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their food so much. We are going to have to find ways to come back!

Food was amazing. For some reason my wife did not like the miso soup. More for me. I had the Veggie Bento Box. Amazing selection of food. My wife is a bit picky, but had the steak hibachi and basically ate it all. Definitely a place we will return to. I have no idea how I missed it for years.

ABSOLUTE RUDENESS! My 72 year old grandmother and I came to this restaurant from our trip to NYC from Washington DC. The atmosphere was nice, it was a small space, they were playing relaxing music and we got seated quick cos there wasn’t so much people. Everything was great until we got seated by this rude server! Literally 30 seconds after she seated us, she asked if we were ready to order. First of all, WHAT? After 5mins, she came back to ask again. We were ready and at this time it was my grandma who ordered first. She is a full Asian grandma who barely understands and speaks English but this RUDE EMPLOYEE was gesturing her hand as if she was telling my grandmother to hurry up. She’s an old lady! Have patience how bout that? I get that some people would find this “fast” service but this was plain rude! Fast forward, I finished eating but my grandmother wasn’t done with her soup yet. The lady came by and asked if she could take my plate, but I didn’t realize that she even took both our soups too! We weren’t even done with it! It was as though she was kicking us out. Lastly, the food was okay but mine had a strand of hair in my broccoli so I stopped eating. The plus side, we got a free ice cream. NEVERTHELESS, NEVER GOING TO RECOMMEND.

This place is extremely accommodating to what you need. Very elegantly plated meals. Extremely friendly staff. Above all else the food was immaculate. Very tasty and a great deal for the lunch specials. I will absolutely be returning Very soon.

I'm a trucker and my wife and I come here every time we come through the area. We pick up at a warehouse nearby very frequently. We've NEVER had a bad experience here. The plates are always presented like artwork and the sushi and hibachi options are fantastic and yummy.

The food is delicious but the service is horrible! Me and my wife waited almost an hour for just an order of kids hibachi noodles and a steak dinner, and the manager was beyond rude! The only respectful staff members there was the lovely girl attending the counter and the incredible server. Manager needs to step her game up!

Stopped by here on a road trip for some sushi and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and cleanliness of this place. Ordered a Boston, Philly and shrimp tempura roll and all were amazing along with our General Tso chicken entre. Very affordable and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend, easily one of the best in NJ.

Nanami is our go-to for our family get-togethers. My 6yo LOVES going here and has since he was 4. We all have a great time and enjoy the delicious food.

Food was really delicious and fresh, many options in kids meal, and we also got a free dish, which was surprisingly good as well!! Recommend the Thai red curry and Tempura! The service was great, very polite and friendly, and the waiter also helped us to pack the leftover!

Randomly found this place. Very nice server and great variety of food. They also have a fusian part of the menu which is awesome. We plan to keep going back until we try everything. So far the sushi pizza and sushi rolls have been really good. The ramen and pad thai were great too.

Good sushi, about average and good value. The staff and Sushi Chef is always friendly and welcoming. This restaurant also have a full menu of Asian food besides Japanese dishes. This is our to go place for decent sushi! 😋

Excellent food!!! Me and my fiancé eat sushi from around the world and this little place is the most unassuming, unsuspecting gem that you could find. They take their profession serious and you can taste that in the food. The atmosphere is everything you could want for the perfect sushi hole-in-the-wall.

My first time at this establishment. A combination of classic cuisine with exquisite sushi options. I enjoyed my sushi presentation and the food was equally impressive. I would return to this location to try out a different dish. 9.7/10

Like most Japanese style restaurants in the area, I wouldn't recommend coming here for the most authentic experience, but barring that the food is very good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I was also pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes, where on meal and an appetizer or two is probably enough for two adults. A bit out of the way for most, but worth checking out.

My family loves this place because of the food quality and a very reasonable price point. We used to visit other Japanese restaurants in the Central Jersey area, but not anymore. Nanami is the only Japanese restaurant we eat in or order from. Service is phenomenal, too.

Food was amazing and delicious. Will be coming back again.
