10/10 - so good, the sauces esp are so packed full of flavor 🔥 huge portions, the sun flower seed ranch is better then any ranch I've ever eaten & I am a ranch lover! I'm not even vegan but I am now. 🤭

Just finished eating smoky pecan salad from NWK; it may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. All of Madeline’s food is delicious—but this salad has the most incredible balance of flavors & textures! Amazing.

This is some of the best vegan food in Des Moines. Whole food, plant based, ingredients that you can pronounce. I’ve been ordering for a year now and love ALL that I’ve ordered. Meals are prepared and packaged in a very professional manor. Normally I pick up my order but occasionally the delivery service comes in handy. I look forward to the new menu coming out on Tuesdays and placing my order for the following Monday.

New World Kitchen is run by people who obviously love what they do. The food is all vegan, first of all, which means the world to me. I can get food from them that can’t be found anywhere else. It is creative and always delicious and satisfying. They are very friendly and respond to any questions or comments quickly. I highly recommend!!

New World Kitchen has been an incredible blessing to our family. My husband has lyme disease and his food options are limited. My husband needs to eat foods that are dairy free, anti-inflammatory and gluten free with clean and simple ingredients. New World Kitchen checks all those boxes!! Additionally, the food flavors are absolutely phenomenal and unlike anything I've experienced before. The chefs at NWK are amazing and how they mingle the ingredients together to create a gourmet experience Is so impressive!! Thank you New World Kitchen for special treats and meals every week!!

Everything is an explosion of flavor combinations and textures. Madeleine does an amazing job however this salad, the Smokey Pecan Salad, just entered a new realm. Absolutely amazing and my new NWK favorite..next to the Giardiniera Hummus. Thank you Madeleine for all of your hardworking, blood, sweat and tears. You create that little bit of heaven that I just don't have the wear with all to do. You are amazing!!!

The best vegan food in Des Moines. My favorite meals are the extra large salads — the Southwest Cobb has a ton of flavor, and the Smoky Pecan Salad has a wide range of ingredients, including a coconut bacon and blueberry combo that is amazing. I appreciate the healthy meal options to take to work for the week.

Best food possibly in all of Des Moines. It’s fresh, healthy and doesn’t lack on flavor at all! My husband and I order every week and look forward to her food at every lunch time!

Got the hearty veggie stew and the snack pack with beet hummus. Super flavorful and hearty stew. Our first try and we really enjoyed both.

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoy New World Kitchen’s food! I got the Fall Roasted Veggie bowl and New World Burger kit and I can report that both were phenomenal . The dressing on the Fall Roasted Veggie bowl escalated the flavor profile and I devoured it. And the burger kit was extraordinary too. It somehow invoked a feeling of tasty nostalgia (again, those sauces and spreads are en pointe) and healthfulness. It goes without saying that you’re getting high-quality meals from NWK and I highly recommend getting food from here!!

This is the best vegan food I have ever had. I try to make my own and it's no good, patties fall apart, sauces are bland. But New World Kitchen is truly amazing! **"Edit*** Still amazing as ever!!! Madeline is so easy to work with. I had an emergency that took me out of town for my delivery last week and she was very fair in handling me having to cancel my order! Part of it was already made and she froze it for my next delivery! I'm so excited to get to try the burgers! I love all of food the bowls and salads are so yummy!

This is my favorite food find in Des Moines. I order every week! My meal prep is done, and I am saving time and money on groceries. I love that every week is different, and so far everything I have had is delicious. I am not vegan, but I feel great and full after each meal. I love this place so much!

New World Kitchen has been a delicious convenience to add to my week. My partner travels for work a lot, and having the energy to cook for only myself is daunting. New World Kitchen is one of my favorite places to buy healthy, pre-made vegan meals for my family. We enjoy the staples, such as the ALT strips, smoky broccoli ranch salad and the new Mac sauce, as well as the various soups and XL bowls! Ordering and pick-up is really easy and the food is delish.

When New World Cafe closed, Des Moines lost the only strictly vegan option available at the time. These days vegan food is more common, but New World Kitchen is still the best food around. I’ve tried several meal prep services, both vegan and non-vegan, and New World Kitchen is the best. They always have delicious, healthy food delivered by friendly staff. They are also committed to being part of the Des Moines community, including supporting other local businesses by adding vegan products from other chefs to their menu and holding pop up sales at different locations. New World Kitchen is hands down the best vegan food in Des Moines and a great business to support. In sum: highly recommend.

Simply fantastic! The quality and variety of dishes available on their menu is consistently top-notch and incredibly delicious. I've tried several of the plant-based creations from New World's arsenal and have always found something to love.
