New York Pizza in Gautier - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

So we've been eating at this particular NY Pizza since they moved from the mall years ago and it's always been incredible ... Until this past year. We always order the same thing which is the NY special sub with fries and an order of hot wings. The last few visits the sub has been soggy, the amount of meat has decreased so much that you don't even taste it and sometimes they add onions and sometimes they don't, sometimes I have to actually look for the meat to make sure it's on there because you just taste soggy bread and lettuce, so it's pretty inconsistent. The wings were also soggy where they were once crispy even with the sauce on it. I also noticed they raised all the prices and charge an 'order processing fee' and ask for a tip even tho we ordered to-go and had the food been as good and the same amount as in previous years I wouldn't mind paying any of that but to get less food at much lower quality, I don't think we'll be back. Im a small business owner as well, I understand the need to raise prices but you can't raise prices and then cut the sizes and quality and expect people to keep coming back.

Quality has gone way down. Just got home and very few toppings- and the mushrooms are from a can. Sauce and cheese just in the middle so mostly bread. Too $$$ for this low quality.

At the recommendation of some friends we tried New York Pizza. Overall.... pretty good. I've had better, but not recently and certainly not this close to home. The dough is good, the sauce is flavorful, the pie could have benefited from another couple of minutes in the oven because it was a bit soft in the center. But in true New York style if you fold the slice then it gets everything from plate to mouth just fine. I'm reading the menu now planning on what to try next time.

I used to love this place then they sold it to someone else. The food isn’t near as good anymore, and they’re not very friendly.

Employees seamed unhappy and very distraught. Place needs updating.

I’ve been coming to Mississippi for years and NEVER stopped in, so today I decided let me go see what this place is all about! I can honestly say PLEASE offer the veggie slice of pizza, biggest down fall of the business bc me I’m a vegetarian and I ONLY wanted a slice just to taste and it wasn’t available 😭😭 please update your menu that’s next to the side entrance bc prices are incorrect and knowing that this is a family business someone like me could’ve argued you down about you selling them a veggie pizza 12’ for 12.99 and not 13.99. As a Google review writer I need more in order for me to come again, I understand you may think oh she’s just 1 customer, but I’m that 1 customer that could HELP your business to gain more business. Next time I’m near I may or may NOT stop by just to see if any updates has happened and this will tell me if I will stop at any of the location you have is the area!

Food was half raw and service was very bad. Cashier was rude and you couldn’t understand anything she was saying. Very bad and will never order from them again.

Great service a lot faster than fast food restaurants and better value and quality of food I highly recommend for people pressed for time

I Have been trying to find a good handmade fresh cheeseburger. That doesn't have Lipton, onion soup, mix. Or a bunch of other added ingredients that takes away from a real true burger . I have to say I never thought that New York pizza would be cooking burgers. But to me they have the best burger in the area by far period

I gave 5 stars on their NY style pizza. Just how I like it. Big slices to fold in half. I'm so glad I tried this place. I actually want some right now thinking about it and writing this review. Friendly employees.

The pizza, wings, and Garlic Bread were amazing! There was no line when we entered, and the whole place was clean and welcoming. My favorite gott New York Pizza is Bienville, Ocean Springs; but this place is a close second. Definitely recommend!!

I use to love the pizza from here, we were disappointed last night with our order. The pizza was not sauced enough, it was undercooked also. It is a very small pizza for being a large and it is very expensive, we could have had two pizzas from Dominos for the same price and better tasting. I wanted to give feedback directly to the business but there is no option to do that on the website so unfortunately this is how they will receive my feedback. Customer service was top notch as always but I will not be ordering from here again due to the quality of the pizza.

Apologies for the half eaten food pics but sometimes hunger and good food gets the best of me! I'm only human I'm SORRY! 😭 So regarding the food you've obviously come to read about: food is yum, food is plentiful, food is hot and problems are none. I'd be very surprised if you encountered a problem there but if you do, it's prolly your own fault and you need to address the obvious issues you have.

Intown for work and this place is a great spot for a quick pizza bite. I had the pepperoni and meat combo pizza and it was great. Strongly recommend for your pizza craving

Didn't read any reviews before we ordered online. Ordered from an area we were staying near and purchased the supreme. Close, fast, good price, great crust, subbed the pepperoni for xtra black olives, personnel were friendly. We will be back. Thank you.

When you pay $13.99 for an x-large cheese pizza and pay $5.26 for XTRA XTRA XTRA pepperoni and get 5 pepperoni per slice ..... THAT IS NOT 3X PEPPERONI !!!!!!! Talk to the guy that prepared my pizza and he assured me he put 3X the pepperoni. Wish I could post a pic on here of my pizza but can't. Cashier was wonderful and even said your gonna have a lot of pepperoni.... Bahahahahahaha

This place is truly amazing. They go out of their way to make sure that you get what you want. I asked them to turn a large deluxe into a calazone. It was not only done perfectly, but I was the best I have ever had. This place is second to none. Go check them out

Been going to New York pizza since they opened in Gautier and always been pleased with the food and service. They had the best fries I've ever had. Sadly today we went today and didn't recognize anyone in there. Ordered our meals and was delivered in a timely manner. But the fries we much like the frozen you can buy at the grocery store. My meatball sandwich was barely warm. My wifes sandwich had about half the meat it should have had. Sadly it's not the same quality as the previous owners.

Pretty good NY style pizza, for Mississippi.

The food was great, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs which came with 2 twisted bread sticks that were so soft and buttery. Kids loved the pizza and meatball sub sandwich as well.

I’ve been a customer here for 7 years and ordered pizza Friday evening. I walked in and didn’t recognize anyone in there working behind the counter. I thought this was kind of odd? Paid, got my order and went home to enjoy, but it was the worst NEW YORK SPECIAL I ever had. I’m through with the Gautier store, I will try the Pascagoula store next to see if they are any good.

New York Pizza has the best hot sandwiches and fries. The pizza is awesome. They only use the finest cheeses and make their pizza dough and sauce from scratch. They have amazing deserts too. Awesome food, fast friendly service at a great price.

Having lived in New York for many years I wouldn't exactly call this a New York style pizza however it's still very tasty. Cooked exceptionally well. I had the New York specialty. Usually with that many ingredients the pizza turns out soggy but they did a great job and balanced it all very well. I placed a to go order for pick up and it was done exactly as advertised. Also had the chicken wings which were similar to an school Buffalo style chicken wing. Very good.

Simply one of the best pizza joints around, point blank and simple! But unfortunately I cannot give five stars. The dine in experience was fantastic. Beautiful themes in each of the locations, minimal wait and very fair price. But on the other hand after dining in and then ordering delivery is where I saw the major difference. The price is a bit much and quite a contrast from dining in. It can be rather misleading when ordering after dine in also. You figure NY style pizza is NY style pizza right? Well unless you order an extra large you are getting just a typical pizza you could get anywhere. But oddly the dine in experience is completely different and would suggest eating in as opposed to delivery for the best experience!

Two words...YUM--MY! We ordered the white pizza with ricotta, garlic, and mozzarella and added spinach and tomatoes! Delicious!! I had planned to show y'all but my family devoured it before I could snap a pic. Been eating their pie for MANY years!!

Omgoodness.Ive been sleeping on NewYork pizza.dissapointed with myself n Happy about the NewYork Style Pizza n subs..My first time trying them out of the9yrs ive been in Mississippi.The pizza dough.soft.the flavors of the meat.the sauce.a pizza u will most definitly enjoy eating n lets not forget the garlic butter sauce☺delicious..I can honestly say.They wil see more of me n I also tried the wings.buffalo..good also...If u havent tried Newyork pizza.Today would be a good day to go.Unsure about the other NY.But the one in Gautier.Ms..Served me up.With nothing but goodness n Ihope the next time I go back..The pizza n wings.will still taste the way it hit for me today😝👌💥💥

It was so busy in there my only complaint was my daughter's spaghetti wasn't hot

YUM! Delicious pizza! Nicely decorated baseball themed NY pizza location. They sell slices of pizza even during dinner time. Steak salad was fantastic. Pepperoni & cheese pizza tasted awesome. Super polite employees. Everyone in our party loved their food including the fries. I would highly recommend this spot. Leave a review to help others make a decision.

Ordered pizza here a few times. Each one I tried was good. The pizza was hot & ready on time. The vegetable pizza was packed with toppings & cheese. Ordered thru the slice app. Worked great. The people working there were friendly & responsive. No complaints. Only good things to say. Try it you’ll like it.

We recently moved to the area and have ate here several times, they have a large selection of items on their menu. We have tried the pizza and the calzone so far. They were tasty and not to bad. We will eat here again. One con is don't sit under the speaker it was a little loud and resutant is located in a strip mall and a little dated.. But hey it's a pizza place.

I have been eating at this family's diner since it was on Old Mobile Hwy back in 2003. I drove all the way from the Pass to get the New York Special. Me, my husband and foster baby loved it as usual yesterday. The service is always top notch.
