We was in the area for work and had been passing this place daily, on our last day we had time to stop. Mario and his staff was absolutely amazing, they made us feel at home as soon as we walked through the door. Food as amazing. Mario needs to follow me to South Florida.

Great atmosphere, quick service and friendly staff. Family run and there is never a discrepancy when it comes to quality. Always great food and healthy portions for amazing prices!!

6/24/2024 Great little takeout deli run by a very friendly husband & wife team. They make GREAT CHEESESTEAK sandwiches, which are delicious - take out only). I would have given them 5 stars, but their French Fries seem to be reheated. 1st time I went there, their French fries were fresh. Nevertheless, I WOULD GO BACK in a flash for their cheesesteak sandwiches. Racoope

I absolutely LOVE Newburg Deli and am happy to do this review. I haven't bought deli items, but they look good! They have a nice menu and also do catering. Pick up only. I wish I had a picture of their glorious cheese steaks. They make, by far, the best cheese steaks I have ever had, and they are big! Good quality meat and cheese, and the soft rolls are amazing. They make their own fresh cut French fries, too! We all know how delicious fresh cut fries are. Mmm 😋 So, for a cheese steak, French fries, and a drink, it's $12 or $13 - worth every red cent. I'm lucky that they're right down the road from me! Please check them out. You'll be glad you did. Thank you Newburg Deli!

Another hidden gem. Cheesesteaks to rival those in Philly, friendly staff and quick service. Definitely worth a stop, even if it's a little off your route.

Wow where to start. Was helping a friend move some stuff today and happened to drive by this place. Did a quick check on here and stopped in. Business has a decent amount of parking when walking in the door I noticed it was clean the menu was clearly visible with lots of options. Having never been there we felt like regulars very friendly service all around. The prices were fantastic which is getting harder to find these days. We each ordered a cheese stake I had a buffalo chicken had excellent flavor throughout the roll was excellent. If you are in the area this is a must stop. We will definitely be back thanks 🙏 !!!!!!!

I had the cheesesteak sandwich with everything. My only issue was the tomato sauce. I didn’t know they added tomato sauce to their cheesesteaks. I don’t like it on mine but I still ate the sandwich. Had I not been so busy talking to the owner, I would’ve noticed it said it on the menu. Next time I’ll grab one without the sauce.

I knew I had to stop on PA for a cheese steak, specially one of those little places. Service was amazing, nice and polite. Food is great, very hard to find across the USA.

Haven’t been there in a while but Newburg Deli gets my vote for best cheesesteak in the Lehigh Valley. Truly haven’t had a better one anywhere.

I pulled into this unassuming place for a quick bite for lunch. I order an Italian hoagie and a side of pierogis for $11. While I was waiting the owner and I struck up a conversation and the whole experience was pleasant and homey. I gotta say, one of the best deli sandwiches I've had hands down. I was floored by how good it was, I regret not stopping here sooner and look forward to getting a cheesesteak next time!

Great food, nice people working there. $15 for a simple cheesesteak and fries though, but I guess that's the new normal. The entire place needs to be gutted and remodeled because the place is very dirty and old.

Meh I have had better. I ordered the cheese steak with the works onions/peppers/mushrooms/sauce. I honestly only tasted cheese and the sandwhich was super greasy. I still ate it, but most likely won't return. I also tried the mac salad, it had an odd bitter aftertaste, maybe celery salt ? I ordered 2 chocolate milks. The chocolate milks are slightly more expensive than other drinks, i was told I could choose 2 other drinks cos they were out, but you'd think I'd be offered a refund for a drink that cost .49 cents more. Friendly people though.

This little gem offers an excellent value for lunch. The lunch special is a cheesesteak, fries, and a canned soda for $11. The fries are handcut. The sandwich is stuffed with meat. Great flavor.

Absolutely the best cheesesteak sandwich in the Lehigh Valley! (And I've tried quite a few) The bread was super fresh, sandwich was packed with meat, and if you mention their ad in the Key newspaper, you get the $10.99 special, which comes with fries and a soda! Pleasant counter help also!

If you have not been here before you are in for a special treat! It is a small place and while there is A table it is more for take-out. The most friendly person ever takes your order and I dare you to find something you will not love... it is just NOT possible. Their cheesesteaks are amazing, but their cold hoagies are fabulous, too. Make sure you get the cheesesteak special for their homemade fries!

This blue-collar culinary masterpiece is made for you quickly by friendly staff members with big smiles. And speaking of big, check out the french fries. You can easily split an order between 3 people. Good honest food from good honest people.

Called 20 mi from up North while heading down to their location, call failed (thanks Verizon), ordered as soon as I got to the counter, polite and courteous there always, ordered two of the Cheesesteak Specials (awesome fries and a drink of choice), and a Ruben. 10 minutes later I’m in my truck and heading north. As always a delicious cheesesteak sandwich and a very tasty Ruben. A must try to any Cheesesteak connoisseur! The Ruben was a new purchase and will enjoy that again! Thanks Newburg Deli!!!

Cheesesteaks are very good. The only problem; when you get them home, the rolls are wet/soggy from the steam created by the hot steak meat. There's gotta be a better way of wrapping them that this doesn't happen.

First visit- ordered an Italian hoagie. The roll was dry. Very little meat/cheese on the hoagie. Definitely not worth the $8.50 price. Had much higher expectations for this deli. Will not return.

Called in a dinner order and it was ready so quickly. Everything was delicious! They were so kind to me and my kiddos. It's not my first time visiting the Newburg Deli, and definitely won't be my last.

Cheesesteaks are amazing and 100% legit. Not the knockoff stuff you get from your local pizza joint. A real authentic Philly cheesesteak. One of the few real cheesesteaks I've had outside of Philly The fries are also fresh cut and great as a side! Grab a Cheesesteak special and you won't be disappointed.

Ordered 2 cheese steaks one regular and one chicken. I got a pleasant surprise with my food. I ordered them with pickles in it. When I got to my friend's house and took the food out I seen a small container of pickles. I first thought someone was being lazy and just putting them on the side but when I unwrapped my very delicious food it was loaded with pickles and the container was extras just in case. VERY GOOD FOOD! VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU FOR THE EXTRA PICKLES. 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Went there again today during lunch hours and was REALLY busy cause the food is REALLY good and the orders were done REALLY quick. This is bar none the best cheesesteaks on the east coast... quite possibly in all the US. Any location you go to will be equal to it's sister store. The meat is fresh and high quality.
