We are so disappointed in the customer service and the excessively long wait time for food. We waited over 50 min for a breakfast wrap and avocado toast (not a busy morning either; there were 2 people already eating when we arrived and no line when we ordered). We’ve noticed the service decline significantly in the last several months. We used to eat breakfast here every Saturday, unfortunately we probably won’t be back again. I hope things turn around for this place, it definitely use to be a gem!

I had the BLT salad with ranch on the side. The salad greens were fresh and nicely chopped. Bacon was cooked perfectly, crisp, and not burnt. Perfect orange mocha cold brew with delicious almond cake. I've eaten here once before, and it was delicious as well. That time I had a sandwich. I also enjoyed their lavender lemonade 💜 . Met some friends for lunch. Nice atmosphere. You can also order cakes at the cafe. They are open to 5 pm, not 3 pm as it states online.

Soooo good! The paninis, soup, salad, and daily special (green chile chicken enchiladas) were all delicious. We stayed there visiting for a bit looking through all the old Calallen school yearbooks and my daughter ended up ordering a lemon bar. You could tell that lemon bar was homemade, it was the perfect balance of flavors… buttery, tart, and sweet. We went back in line to get another one to go for hubby. We’ll be back for sure, service was great, food was great, we might just go back tomorrow! 😆

If you haven't been here, you are missing out! The chicken poblano soup is my absolute favorite, and it is honestly less expensive and 10x better for you than any fast food. The staff and homemade deserts are just as sweet as can be too!!

The food is great most of the time but other times the wraps can be extremely scarce in ingredients. The salads are always great. I don’t recommend the avocado toast it’s very underwhelming. And much like the wraps the smoothies are great but have been watered down a few times.

Decided to try out Nueces Cafe for brunch and I have found a new favorite spot. I ordered the ultimate egg wrap and a berry mix smoothie. Both were fantastic! I will be back soon. Very cute atmosphere, clean and nice encounter with staff.

I was visiting Corpus this day when I stopped here. We were headed on our way out back to Houston so we needed some caffeine in our life due to what little sleep we got. I don't like Starbucks so I Googled for coffee shops in Callalan. This one seemed like it would be nice. We got lost at first because I just saw the church there and not the coffee shop. Once we found it and walked in the place I literally could feel the peace of God fall on me in there. I realized that this quaint little coffee shop was some how connected to the church next door. The workers here were super friendly and took my slightly complicated drink order well. The decor and layout of this place was so opposite of what you expect of a coffee shop but so fitting and perfect for this coffee shop. I thought it was so beautiful in there. I love how different this coffee shop is. They have a lot to offer in all their menus from hot drinks and cold drinks to lunches such as sandwiches and wraps. They have something for everyone. They also carry milk alternatives and sugar free options for your coffee and a few other drink choices. Their shop was very clean and so many smiling faces. My husband and I are excited to stop here again when we go back to visit our family in Corpus. Having peace is better than coffee. To chill here at Nueces Cafe and have good coffee and peace is an awesome luxury. Check it out.

Quaint little Sandwich Shop. Not a traditional cafe. Excellent food and the Desserts are to die for. Just make sure you order milk, cakes are super moist and the icings are very rich!! 5 stars

Great food.... I ordered a loaded egg wrap and it was amazing and a Carmel hazelnut iced coffee ... They were super friendly and the young man who help me choose what to get was very professional . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone .

This place is great. I went Thursday morning with my friend and her baby, and everything from the staff to the ambiance and the food were just excellent. The lady in the front taking my order was very nice, polite and accommodating. Oh and the food! I had the veggie wrap with fruit . It was wonderful. My friend had the pecan salad. The desserts brought out my inner fat kid and I just had to have one. They are made there fresh! If your in that area check it out! So many options.

Very pleased with catering options and service as well. The drive thru really makes it that much easier to enjoy this gem even if your still in your jammies. One of the best in the area.

This little cafe is a cute place for lunch. It's got a chess board and some couches, seems like a great place to enjoy some tea on a lazy day. I went with my baby an hour before closing time so it was slow, but I got good service, and my baby enjoyed the side of fruit that came with the wrap. It's a simple menu, but well executed. I say check it out!
