From out of town and wanted burgers and fries , I found this spot on Google maps. Great place. Burgers and fries were great and priced fairly for the quality. The whole family enjoyed. Will definitely be back next time we're in town

What an amazing burger! Ended us at this place bc it was close by, and man I’m surely coming back often. Meat is tasty, bacon is crispy, just awesome went with a 1/4 pound afraid it could be small, but wow it’s big! !!! Spice chicken was amazing too. Great service too!

What a terrific place! Boasting angus beef smash burgers and American Wagu steak subs, Greek Salads, Fries, and Souvlaki, there’s an amazing assortment of excellent eats at a very reasonable price! You can even eat Canadian Poutine (won’t tell you what it is if you don’t know—you’ll have to find out) without having to present your passport or take your shoes off! Simple. Fast. Delicious! Lots of free parking. Not that many tables, but they free up quickly. Owner is on-site, which definitely explains the attention to detail. Glad to have found this place and definitely will be back! So maybe it is my Midwest upbringing but burger was good but it was no smash burger. It was not browned at all it was just a thin patty. Water cup is just a specimen cup. Fries were good. Atmosphere was pleasant.

My wife and I have been eating here for a couple years now and it has NEVER disappointed the staff is always super friendly the food is always on point the best tenders I’ve ever had the food is super fresh!! Also really good mahi sandwich if you don’t want a burger. Great variety!!

I love coming to north south grill, they have tasty burgers but had a bad experience today. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with NO ONIONS as shown below . After two bites I realized there was no lettuce, tomatoes , or pickles. After approaching cook he states I ordered it that way. He offered to give it on the side which is not the same since it already half eaten. It’s the way you say things that cause poor experience. If he would’ve apologized and admitted to the mistake there wouldn’t be an issue. There was also a guy sitting across on the phone on speaker calling everyone on his contact list. Not an enjoyable dining experience.

Great staff, clean, fun atmosphere, and most of all delicious food. We explored this place a week ago and have already been back twice. Not a bad choice on the menu! Might stop by again for some more. I get the grilled chicken sandwich with provolone. My favorite!

All I have to say is that they’re definitely the best burgers in the whole area.

Tasty food, good service, and decent prices. We got the Mahi Avocado sandwich, Greek fries, and a Buffalo chicken salad. My sister also got poutine fries and tenders. The Buffalo chicken was well seasoned and overall the salad was great, although the container it came it made it a bit difficult to eat. The Greek fries were my favorite and definitely better than the poutine which lacked a bit of seasoning. The Mahi was a bit dry and yet messy to eat on the bun. Some other members of our party got Smash burgers which they commented were messy to eat as well but still good and the gyro fries were raved about.

Best Smash burger in the area hands down!

They have a really satisfying smashburger. It is very tasty as well. The online ordering it a tid confusing with the yes/no menu. The fries are plentiful, but I wish they were cooked a bit more. The staff are also happy and helpful. It is a very constant burger spot.

Best steak and cheese, they use american wagu beef, and the portions are huge! Will be back to try one of the burgers. Clean facilities, friendly staff and convenient location.

Shocked at how great the food was. First time here , everything we ordered was delicious ! Better than burgers you get at higher end restaurants. Will definitely try the Wagyu beef steak and cheese subs next time.

This hidden gem is by far worth your time and money! My husband and I have tried most of the menu and they do not miss a beat!!! They have one of the best hamburgers in south Florida. In my opinion I think they’re hand cut fries top the charts. I absolutely love their steak deluxe sub and their buffalo chicken sub. Recently I tried the gyro salad…and it literally blew my mind, I know i know it’s just a salad…but honestly it’s not. I went back 3 times in one week for it and now it’s a family favorite! And when you order it, get a side of pita bread 😉 North South Grill has definitely become a staple for us! We absolutely love it! The owners and the staff truly make it a delightful experience! Thank you all for making great food!

Boy let me tell you... You don't come here for the atmosphere. You come here for SMASHING DOWN SMASH BURGERS 🍔 or the Philly, or the super crispy chicken sandwich... There isn't a better burger in all of South Florida, for get the rest. There are good burgers and there is NORTH SOUTH. Just shut up and eat!!!! Yum 😋

Saw this place on one other the influencers videos on TikTok and gave them a try. I had the chicken tender sandwich which wasn’t bad. Just the way they constructed the sandwich was a little puzzling. The put all the veggies on the sandwich first and then the tenders on top. It was a little difficult to eat, but the taste was pretty good. The real negative for me is that they charge $4.99 for a small side of onion rings and $7.99 for a large side of onion rings. I bought a combo and they charged me $6.99 upcharge for switching from fries to onion rings. How logical is that. Nevertheless, I tried them and it wasn’t anything crazy that would make me come back.

North South Grill is stunting on a budget! Family of 5 eating here cost less than $60. I would have taken more pics, but the family was so hungry, obviously. Everything is freshly cooked and prepared in kitchen. This is upscale comfort food on a budget. I would highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

I went for my birthday with my Family and we loved it. Great place, staff were very friendly. The place was clean. Place is not big but very accommodating. We definitely are returning. The food was great we ordered burgers fries, chicken tenders, Buffalo and blue cheese sandwich, chicken sandwich. All with fries. Delicious hot and really fresh.

My friend and his wife opted for the classic ¼ LB Cheeseburger, while I, drawn by the allure of a challenge, chose the ½ LB Hot South. Accompanied by a generous helping of fries, our table soon fell silent under the weight of our focused feasting. We enjoyed our visit to North South Grill. I didn't have any idea of what to expect but it turned out well. The prices are a bit high but I left feeling satisfied and the food was delicious. I will have to go back and try the rest of their sauces. The small sub was more than enough for me and the onion rings are top notch.

I've eaten here a few times and have only eaten the burgers and theyre very good. On my last visit I tried the chicken sub, I love chicken subs and have 3 sub shops that I frequent for it. So, I figured I'd try it from here, but I came away very disappointed. I was expecting the style of sub that I usually get elsewhere, specifically the chicken and how it's cooked. I'm used to fresh chicken breast cooked on the grill philly style chopped up and mixed with green peppers and onion. What I got from this restaurant was a whole solid chicken breast cut into 4 pieces and laid in the bread like a regular chicken sandwich. Maybe I should have asked for it Philly style, I don't know. I was very disappointed. What saved the meal for me were the fries, they where great and plentiful.

Love this place! My new go to place for the tastiest food. My husband and I agree they have the best chicken tenders in Pembroke Pines. They and crispy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside, so tasty and extremely tender. We also have had the mouthwatering burgers and steak and cheese subs. Not to mention the perfectly tasty hand cut fries. Everything we have tried so far has been great. Definitely making North South Grill our favorite spot.

Food is always amazing; the high rating is absolutely deserved. I remember when they had only been open for a couple of weeks and I had come in for the first time, the owner treated me like I had been a customer for years. The quality of service and the quality of food has not diminished since their opening. If you are wondering what to order, can't suggest the greek fries enough!

Good, but meat was overcooked, hard to chew

North South Grill was on a Florida Top Burger list so I had to try it out. The menu is huge and the place is small, they have about 6-7 tables for dine in. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger plain, my wife had a Double Cheeseburger minus pickles and onions and we shared a small order of fries. Smash patties were great with the crispy lacy edges, my only critique is that it didn't seem that they seasoned the meat. My patties were a bit bland, still good but I would have preferred a bit more salt and pepper. My wife didn't share the same critique but she had North South Grill sauce on her burger. I believe that is what the difference was. Overall a very good smash burger and I would recommend anyone give it a try.

Our Subaru salesman said this is the best food around and he was 100% right. Sandwich shop ambiance with gourmet flavors and big selection from fish, chicken and gyro Greek options to Wagyu beef burgers and great salads. I look forward to my next visit.

I’m a lover of fresh cut fries and that’s what originally got me in the door. The thing that will keep me coming back is the quality and DELICIOUS food and the exceptional customer service! The fries are GREAT! I got the chicken club and couldn’t stop dancing while eating it. Pro tip: seating is limited so just be prepared, but the tables turnover quickly.

We shared the steak and bacon sandwich today with fries and it was absolutely delicious! We were in the area, saw the incredible reviews and decided to come check it out. I’m so glad we did! My husband and I split a small sandwich with a small fry and left completely stuffed. I highly recommend and can’t wait to come back for another steak sandwich!

Good lord, the food is absolutely out of this world, and the service was impeccable. Was surprised to find this in a strip mall next to a Publix. The Steak and Bacon sub will make you cry. Absolutely unreal. Would have taken a picture but I was too busy chowing down. Don’t be fooled by the location. Go in, order anything on the menu, and get ready for your life to change.

Ok so I can honestly say I've been to this restaurant since it opened. In the very beginning, the attention and the quality of food was on point. I recall tasting the delicious burger with tzatsiki fries.. it was heaven. Today, I noticed it was busier which means good business and well deserved as I remember how good the burger was. I wanted to try something different and went with the gyro, tzatsiki fries and a burger. I was a bit disappointed. The quality was different... Gyro was extremely salty, burger was greasy as can be and the fries were not consistent. Some were burnt and were not like I remember. I hope the increase of traffic has not affected the quality. To the owner: it's important to maintain a consistency of the quality of food. It's better to take the time to ensure the food is on point than to rush it just to meet the increase in demand. I hope the quality i remember returns. One thing I did enjoy from here was the fact that the food was fresh and it didn't feel like your ordinary fast food joint. Today, however, it felt like any fast food restaurant.

Wow! Today I got take out, the Steak Deluxe, fries, and onion rings. I'm from the northeast and when I tell you this is best cheesesteak I've EVER had, I mean it. I had to call the nice woman that works the register in the middle of eating it to let her know! I can see why North South Grill has 5 stars. The fries and onion rings were also literally the best I've had in years. Also friendly service and vibe. I'll be back... I can see why North South Grill has 5 stars...which is rare!

Place was horrible I thought. The best place that I've had a burger at in Florida was a little diner called Angel's Diner in Palatka, FL they are far the best burger & I always get the 1lb hand compressed patty fries & drink every time I go there.

Easy spot to get to but also easy to miss. 1/4 bacon cheeseburger was $10 as of Nov. 2023... Can't beat that price for the amount of food. Skip the fries, they are $6 and not worthwhile. Will definitely come back to try the other options but this is a solid spot for burgers if you are tired of 5 Guys on Pines.

We had a buffalo chicken sandwich and a small mushroom steak with fries. The "small" mushroom steak was evening but small. Flavor was very good and the fries were really good also. The buffalo chicken sandwich couldn't have been cooked any better. Crispy, juicy and a good size. I would recommend this place to anyone no doubt.

Will be going back to try other items on the menu. I had a Buffalo Salad which was great, very fresh and super tasty. My BF was also very happy with his double cheeseburger which looked so good. The staff was very friendly and honest. The cashier mistakenly overcharged me (which I didn't catch)and a nice lady (possibly the owner)came over and returned the money that I had overpaid. I appreciated that.
