What a charming place, a small peice of America at its finest!!!

Nothing fancy, but that's okay because we were looking for good, not fancy. A very good breakfast omelette, served with home fries, rye toast and rich tasting coffee.

Took a while to get the food, but it was very good and worth the wait. Older style diner.

We stopped in after driving through Lake Desolation into Northville and then back south toward home. We were so surprised to find a vintage diner surrounded by a fairly nondescript beige building! I had the chicken salad on croissant sandwich and cole slaw. The chicken salad had apples, grapes, celery, dried cranberries, and pecans. It was fantastic! The coleslaw was grated instead of shredded and was delicious. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and home fries. He said it was very good. Service was speedy and friendly. I think we’ll need to make a return trip soon. PS It is a cash only diner, but the sign on the door says they have an ATM.

Very pleased to find this diner on our trip. (3 of us). We all enjoyed our meals; the west sandwich was wonderful! Highly recommended for a delicious breakfast at a reasonable price!👍

Great little diner. The lady waits on people cooks and rings you out she does it all. The customers are very friendly also. Old style diner with quality food homemade.

There is no way this diner is anything but 5 stars. We have a bfast group that meets all over a 3 or 4 county area and this is always my favorite. Excellent excellent food, atmosphere and service always. I am writing this review as we are getting ready to head over there again with a group of 6 and I know exactly what it will be like. Amazing food always!! See you at 8:30! Coming in from Hadley, Speculator and Ft. Johnson and well worth the drive!

This old box car turned dinner was fantastic. The food was delicious and service was great. The ladies who own it were down to earth and made u feel like family! Definitely will go back when I visit Northville , NY again!

"Where everybody knows your name." (Just like Cheers!) Northampton is an awesome place to eat. They serve a diner menu, with lots of home-cooked options and a generous flow of coffee . Whether you eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner there, you will never walk away hungry. Did I mention that their carrot cake is to die for!!!

This is a great place. Mostly booths with a counter to sit at. Food is always good. The staff are always friendly and willing to chat. They have a cinnamon bun french toast breakfast which is awesome. It doesn't even need syrup, the icing on it is sweet enough. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this diner since a kid, and it hasn’t changed. Still by far, my favorite pancakes (smiley face pancakes for the kids always) and their grilled muffins are always scrumptious. Omelets are loaded with all the good stuff. Everyone is always so friendly. Don’t ever change Northampton diner, we love you!

Quaint old fashion diner. Food was great and priced low! Wait was about 20 minutes as there were only 2 employees cooking for numerous patrons. Enjoyed the experience of a blast from the past.

Wonderful place! Anyone who reviews this diner one star is crazy! We ate there three times while on our week vacation from Wisconsin and had great service each time! It was worth the wait as the food is made in front of you. We will be back again!

oh my word; what can I say: I do not leave reviews very often, you really have to impress me!!! With that said; you MUST go to northampton diner, it is truly a home cooked meal. The staff is great, the food is AMAZING and beyond. egg benedict is crazy good. coffee is good; better than IHOP hahaha. the corn beef hash cooked prefect, homemade hash absolutely awesome. It's a small place, and right off the hwy. you will not regret stopping here, I hope to see some reviews for this place in the future. Happy Trails

It was located on South Street before it was moved to Northampton, NY. What a gem to find on our way home from our Great Sagandaga Lake vacation!
