Great food run by even better people. Can't recommend them enough! Between the great burgers in the summer to a takeout Thanksgiving meal in the winter, there's no complaints from our family! Thanks again Pat!

Great meal at Northern Scout. Ordered the burgers and hot chicken tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious. The salt and vinegar fries are addictive. You can tell the love and care that goes into everything that the restaurant offers. The best option is to call ahead to place your order. Get there a little early and enjoy the garden out front, or enjoy the views of the pond across the street until your food is ready. If you are in the area, staying on the Raymond Cape, or headed to Frye, you need to make sure you get a meal here.

Stopped here today for dinner. The food is really unbelievable. Great flavors. A gem of a find in a neighborhood of Raymond. Worth a stop!!

So excited this gem popped up on our search for takeout tonight! Burger and tacos were both excellent, well curated drinks cooler, and super nice staff. Also it seems the restaurant is very earth conscious which I appreciate.

Burger was amazing as where the fried chicken tacos. Ive also dont think ive ever enjoyed a salad more than i did that kimchi salad. Coming back asap

Patrick owner/chef is the Eagle Scout of BBQ! The basic smash burger was anything but (note to self: order two next time). The bun held up well to the immense flavors coming from the slaw base, no ketchup or mustard required. That also goes for the salt and vinegar fries. Freshly cut and crispy due to the smaller slicing are the perfect pairing. While the menu may seem limited, don't let it fool you as to what wonderful meals are being put out of such a small kitchen. Best place to eat is in their front yard at the two picnic tables by the gardens. Enjoy!

The regular cheeseburger (house smash burger) is the best burger I’ve ever had. I’m not being hyperbolic. It is the best burger I’ve eaten. Every bite is perfect. Also, everything else on the menu has been just as good.

Yummy food and friendly owners. Ordered the noodle bowl for myself and bacon bbq smash burger for my husband. Noodle bowl had lots of shitake mushrooms and shishito peppers and a bit of heat…delicious. And my husband enjoyed the burger.

Ordered a couple smash burgers, the fried chicken tacos, and some other fixings. I have to say, my buddies and I were absolutely blown away. The smash burgers were juicy with an awesome crispiness to them, everything was seasoned perfectly. I don't even know where to begin with the tacos, just make sure you try them out if you're a hot chicken fan. This place is a must stop for me now

This food could easily compete with some of the best plates you've had in Portland. We finished every bite of food. A smash burger with fries and the veggie noodles. The noodles came full of warming chillies and a flavorful sauce -- an absolute must try. The smash burger was cooked perfectly and came steaming hot even after driving home several minutes home. Make sure to add an order of fries to any order because they are AMAZING!

Had the grilled cheese with pepper jelly and the noodle bowl. Both were prepared perfectly and were absolutely delicious! Fries are really good too! So happy to have such an exceptional take-out option so close to home!

We ordered noodle bowl with pork belly, sprouts, portobello burger and cheddar burger. Wow! Everything was perfect and so delicious. We are so glad to have this place right here in Raymond Cape!!

Great people and amazing food. It’s refreshing to see a new genre of take out. Loaded with flavor and zest. I highly recommend the Mole Pork Tacos and my wife loved the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. We’re glad they’re in the neighborhood.

Best takeout food I’ve had in a long time. Flavors are crazy delicious and well thought out. I especially recommend the mushroom burger and of course, without a doubt, the bao buns. Some amazing people making amazing food

What a wonderful addition to Raymond Cape! Highly recommend.

Took a short ride over to Raymond today for the grand opening of Northern Scout Kitchen. Great menu that touches some on some harder to find foods in this area of the state (currently chowing down on some seriously great Pork Belly Bao Buns and crispy Brussels sprouts). The menu also features Mole pork tacos, a noodle bowl with roasted shishito peppers, local green baby kale salad, three serious burger choices and two grilled cheeses and oh so crispy Belgian style fries. Everything served with our beautiful state in mind on eco friendly sustainable containers. Jess and Pat are just wonderful and I can think of no better way to put my money back into my community than to support passionate artists and businesses like this. I am very proud to be the first one through the door on the start of this amazing journey they are on. If you’re near Raymond, you owe it to yourself to stop here.
