No bang for the buck here! Mediocre food. $60.00 for two was too much to pay for the food quality.

Typical Chinese buffet. Pricey on the weekends and at night. They do have a senior discount. We don't eat sushi, but they do have a big selection of sushi. Soups are okay.

Went here for lunch. Food, service, and price was great. The food smelled good the first step in the door. Sushi was fresh. Restrooms were clean. If I could give this place more stars I would.

I mainly go to Ocean buffet for the sushi. Their sushi is really fresh. They also have Chinese food. I have not eaten much of their Chinese food but it looks really good. I highly recommend going here.

If you go to Ocean Buffet, please CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! We went there today and when I looked at my receipt (like I always do wherever I go now because of places like this 😡) I noticed something labeled "charge" conveniently sandwiched between the subtotal and the tax. This random charge was for almost $7! When I asked the lady at the front about it, she said that it was a service charge. I asked her if that was meant to be the tip and she said yes. I then asked her "so you weren't going to ask me for a tip after I paid?" She kind of mumbled and then asked "did you not have good service?" I told her "well I'm not right now!" I then had to explain to her how a tip works, that it is an extra amount of money that I can CHOOSE to pay depending on the quality of service. I told her I wasn't paying it and she eventually took it off. When I paid, she handed me a receipt with a spot to put a tip. So basically, they are sneakily taking a tip and then asking for another one! This is just slimy and dishonest. The saddest thing about this to me is that times are tough financially for a lot of people right now and they are being taken advantage of by some shady people.

Not Worth The Cost! All the meats didn't taste good, the price far exceeds the quality. They charged weekend prices on a weekday because it was a holiday but did very little to inform you of the change. The bill also came with a "charge" fee? When asking what this was they said it was for service and still expected a tip on top of it. If you feel like spending $80+ (2 and a toddler) for some food you'll end up spitting out, then be my guest.

One of the best Chinese food buffets I've been to in a long time

A typical urban Asian buffet. Attentive staff. Food was hot. Food variety was better than expected. Property was worn. A little dirty- but typical for an urban moderately priced Buffet. Price was competitive. In the end we were happy.

I feel that the food is very sincere and the price is too friendly. For me who misses Chinese food, I will definitely come here to eat often if I live nearby.

Pretty bold to be charging a single customer $30 for buffet and drink, with actual graffiti on the bathroom exit door. Got there before 2pm, and was given their standard "dinner" rate. I do not understand this new one-and-done gotcha' business model these days; instead of giving people a fair price and creating returning customers.

Dirty and old. Service was barely existent. Not much options for a buffet. The food was decent. I would not come here again. Not worth the price.

This is the best food in America. I am not kidding. I live in Hawaii, traveling to the Grand Canyon. It can't be compared to any other food. The rolls are absolutely perfect

To close to other people eating made for a very loud dinner, prices have jumped and it’s not worth going there anymore. My sweet and sour chicken so tough I couldn’t eat it!

Arrived right over an hour before they closed and no fresh food was brought out including no crab legs, which is why we came and paid $100 for 4 of us. Felt like we were stuck with the cold leftovers at full price. I would have went elsewhere if we were told no more food would be brought out. We didnt have many options. Was also ignored our 30 minutes there.

Expensive on weekends. Not very clean. Buffet and sushi were fine, not the greatest quality but service and cleanliness need a major upgrade for the price.

**day after update** Food poisoning occurred: I was very suspicious about the oysters, but ate three anyway...bad decision by me, as I just had a major explosion out the hiney, accompanied with body bloats, swollen sores, and continuous gurgling in my gut. Due to several first time good/second time bad experiences, I decided to head back here with my last $20 to make sure this spot wasn't (one of those). Well, it kind of was in one aspect... While the food and staff was still good, I came across a bait and switch technique sorta thing which went as follows: Upon entering the restaurant, I looked at the sign to make sure the lunch price was the same as yesterday and read lunch for 15.99, so I sat down and commenced the chowing. Part way through my meal, a ticket for $25.85 was dropped on my table. What is this?? I immediately asked about it and was told that it was "the weekend price." Ok, anybody who knows anything about the restaurant biz is aware of Friday and Saturday being weekend pricings, so that is nonsense. The manager insisted on running my debit card even though I told her there was no money in the account, as I had been frauded by the USU Credit Union already and only brought the balance back out of the red in order to not be on the no checking account list. Suspicious, aye? Anyways, she took my last buck and said it's cool if I come back with the $5.85 when I can. So I finished grubbing and skidaddled. Much more on this to be revealed later. Peace and love, JTL I had been to this munchery once before and thought it wasn't bad, so decided to give it a more thorough sampling as I was urging for some sushi. My expectations of these China buffets that set out the raw sea dwellers is usually anything but lofty. I must say that my experience here blew the.lid of my expectations! Here's why: - the sushi was fresh with tasty, proper rice patties. Wasabi paste was nice along with the ginger. - they had a pretty decent variety with actual raw tuna and salmon, as opposed to the k-rab only choices - the cheese rangoons were Fantasticly scrumptious - clams, muscles, and shrimps were available and pretty darn tasty. - the fries were even crispy, plenty of fruit options including some of so yummy honeydews. - the ice cream selection consisted of vanilla, chocolate, rainbow sherbet, strawberry, and my favorite: cookies and cream. This stuff was sooo good! (I tried all but the sherbet) The staff were friendly and there was a clean atmosphere including a couple of TV's for a bit of sports to scope while throwing down no less than 4 plates of satisfying grub. $108 for a lunch for 3 adults and 1 child. The place needed to be more hygienic and the icecream spoon was disgusting. I do not recommend it.

I haven't been to this location in years, I met a buddy there for lunch on May 23rd of 2024, the place was clean, friendly, the buffet was excellent. I will definitely be going back in the near future.

Worst place, worst price for the food. Worst service. Almost $90 for my wife and I and a 3 yr old. Do not recommend, Sakura is cheaper & way better!

As soon as you sit down the waitress will be trying to clear your plate and hand you the check. This is an all you can eat buffet. The food is so-so. They use a lot of cheap gluten products, probably because this fills you up. I stayed away from the seafood because the waitress and the atmosphere here just gave me a bad feeling like everything was rushed and they show little concern for quality. It was the weekend fare so I ended up paying the highest price. Drinks are not included with the meal.

I have been looking for good Chinese food in St George forever! Every place is so bland! I never knew that Ocean Buffet had Chinese food on their buffet. I thought it was seafood only. Anyway, the Chinese food is great! It's tangy and flavorful and there's a good variety.

I didn't like most of the food and the worst part was that it was very expensive for an 8 year old child, they charged me like an adult, I don't recommend the food, and the price was very high for the food that isn't very good...I don't like it. I recommend it.

Ate here when we went to St. George. Food was sub par and not my favorite. I only had 2 small plates with a few things on it. Not my favorite place but didn't get sick, so that's a bonus! Service was okay but needs improvement. It cost $22 a person to eat! Not worth the money.

This buffet is better than any of the ones that mesquite or Las Vegas have - and a few dollars less! There is something here for anyone's type of taste. I highly recommend to anyone.

Don't waste your time. Drive to mesquite and do a buffet there. Food was old and bad, service was bad, desserts were REALLY bad. Didn't try the sushi because I'm smart enough to not risk it there.

If you’re into buffets, it isn’t bad. Light sushi bar is available, as well as the usual “Asian cuisine”.

Arrived in town too late to order at a sit down, didn't want fast food. We saw this and stopped in. The selection is huge. The quality is average. The price is too high for the atmosphere and quality of food.

We consistently have great food and service here. I especially like the fresh Sushi, and the Hot and Sour soup. The peach chicken and orange chicken are delicious. They have recently replaced the flooring, and it seems like the bench seats have also been re-upholstered.

I have been. The crab is nice but over cooked to hard to get out of the shell. But for the price point in the area it’s not too bad. I don’t know if I would frequent often.

Price $18.99 for dinner as of January 2, 2023. This trip to the buffet since my last review, the food was better. Fresher, although some items were questionable *cough, cough* sushi been hanging out little to long for my taste. It tasted stale, it was off putting. However, when we stepped in there was a good amount of people so the turnover of new food items seemed to be consistent. Service was hospitable and we NEVER ran out of water. That is a plus, when you are parched. Despite the 3 stars, this is the best chinese buffet in St. George (not sure that says much if you want great go to Las Vegas, NV.). Go when it is busy (weekends), food turn over is obviously better. If Asian American food is what your looking for and a good amount then this is the place. They have a decent variety, food is mediocre, I mean it's a buffet not a 5 star restaurant. We go every time we are in St. George and it offers enough variety that you can choose from. If your looking for salad choices, wrong place to go. Although I noticed they added kimchi and seaweed salad. They have, sushi, potstickers, steamed rice, chow main, beef broccoli, muscles with mayo sauce, chicken, shrimp, crab (dinner), oysters (sometimes), fried bananas, sesame balls, egg drop soup, salmon, sweet n sour chicken, plus more and of course traditional chinese buffet desserts.

Their Sushi is great, and so is their Black Pepper chicken

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - fairly typical Chinese buffet that was actually better than we expected! They had sushi rolls that actually contained sliced fish rather than just cream cheese, California rolls, or spicy tuna mix. For such a small place, they had a great selection of food with some decent ribs, amazing salt and pepper shrimp, okay clams, and a hot and sour soup with a nice kick. Service: 4/5 - friendly cashier but the waitresses cleaning tables were quite inconsistent. At one point there was 5 or 6 plates stacked before they cleared our table. Ambiance: 4/5 - the buffet set-up of the restaurant was a bit odd as there was fairly little space between the food lines and the sushi area was completely off in a different area. They sat us in the back room with the families and children so we had to listen to screaming kids for the entire meal... Value for price: 5/5 - at $14.99 for lunch, it was a great price for surprisingly good food.

The prices are kinda high. The drinks are roughly $3 and the buffet is roughly $24 per person for dinner. I do believe that lunch is a bit cheaper but their food is really really good.

Food was not great! Sushi selection was alright but most rolls were california roll with a different topping. Crab legs were not great quality, soggy and very hard to eat. Edamame / beans hard and ice cold. Chicken skewers were over cooked and tough. Cream cheese rangoons were sweet like sugar was added to filling ewww... Dinner was $20.99 per person and I will NOT be back. Very disappointing 😞

The food was delicious, filling, and very well made. I loved the cozy atmosphere, it felt like home. They had so many options, some of those being more western/American for your picky eater kids. I think it's a great place to go enjoy good food and good company.

Worst place that I've eaten in my entire life. First thing that I thought was bizzare, was that we got sat on the same table as strangers that were also trying to eat alone. That was awkward. We had came during their seafood night and every dish of theirs that we tried tasted awful. Their mushrooms soup tasted of pure black pepper. Only could eat 1 bite. Their coconut shrimp tasted old, their regular shrimp with cocktail sauce tasked like they were soaked in dirty water, the list goes on. I had lost my appetite after trying my first plate. The one way I was able to get at least 10 bites in for dinner is washing their food down with soda. Additional, the service wasn't good. Our dishes were stacked on our table and they only picked them up once. It was hard to track down anyone for refills. By the time we left, we felt disgusting and nauseous. After I got home, i immediately puked the food up. Long story short, we paid $30/person for food that tasted like it was found in a dumpster. Definitely not recommending to anyone. I am happily blacklisting this place.

One of the best buffets in town, it's never busy or crowded and they're always super nice, the sushi bar is very good, I like their oysters too. A great place for some good food.

It sure is the only Chinese buffet in Saint George! Family owned; friendly owners and waitresses ! They also have about 15 kinds of sushi rolls and crab legs which is included with the buffet purchase. They do have free and large ample parking..

11/4 Still best food around. First. GREAT FOOD and PRICE. Last time I ate in this building it was different owners looong time ago I am so glad I decided to try again. Well worth the 40 mile drive. We will back for more

I have been going to this place pretty consistently for almost 2 years. I go weekly. Their food is always good. Clean environment. I love their sushi selection and they have all you can eat crab legs on the weekends ! Excellent food all the time !
