Subpar food, I wouldn't recommend it. On the Hibachi side, nothing is labeled and the steaks looked like they've been left there for a day or two. Definitely not coming back.

This is a family favorite spot! We recently went here for mothers day and they were able to get a big enough area for about 16 people. They were always refilling the food so it was hot and fresh.

Great price, so much excellent food, clean and well cared for as well as friendly staff! In a Sunday only $15.99 for the entire buffet, great deal!

Interesting dishes. Big buffet. Grill is good too. The hot and sour soup is very good here. Found frog legs (fried) in the buffet offering.

Food was awesome. Staff were pleasant and on top of getting refills and things like that. For being a buffet the sushi actually wasn’t that bad. Everything was hot and fresh. Going back this weekend for round two.

Just searched to find something for supper and found this gem. Lunch buffet 12.99, dinner buffet 14.99. Ask you can eat hibachi and sushi buffet! So glad we picked here, you won't be disappointed.

Timed it just right, all the food was hot, fresh and filled. It's not a fine dining experience, and you wouldn't expect that from a buffet, but it's good food and around $30 for two people. I went in hungry and left full.

Typical Chinese buffet. Will probably eat here again cuz it's the only one in the area and when you have a lot of people to please, it's just easier.

GF and I are in the Fort Leonard Wood area and she wants Asian food. We find Ocean Buffet on trip advisor and give it a try. They have a wide range of food, sushi and desserts for a fixed price and it's all you can handle. If you have hungry teenagers this is the place for you as it is a family oriented restaurant. Recommended if you are in the area.

The food was excellent, with a huge variety to select from. The price is out of my budget, but it is a nice change for special occasions.

My go-to sushi stop on I44. I start jonesin' an OB fix somewhere around Rolla. I generally run in, grab a few dozen assorted pieces, then dash back to the car where my wife, dachshund & I set it up on the hood of my car, snarfing it all down along with copious quantities of wasabi. Following a loudly vociferous head rush, I usually go back and repeat the process.

This place has sure gone downhill. DON'T waste your time and money here.

Asian style buffet with a large selection of entrees and deserts. There is also a hibachi style grill where you add whatever fresh ingredients you want, and the chef will cook it for you. They even have a decent selection of sushi.

Not family friendly, staff was rude. Went here on 3/20/24 with my sons family which included my 2 year old granddaughter. She was playing with the sugar packet, just stacking them and the waitress came over and took them from her. I said that I would pick them up when we are done. She said no and took them. When she brought the check I asked why she took them and she said that I should not let her play with them. She was very rude how she was speaking to me and was arguing with me. My granddaughter was not hurting anything or making a mess. I spoke to the manager and she was no help. I will not be going back.

Didnt give total then kept pointing at register, didnt recieve change from paying Had to ask for a bag to carry order in, and utensils and cookies and only received 1 fork and cookie for multiple meals, generally get take out once a week and usually satisfied, this time inleft feeling disappointed,

I loved and will continue to love the place. I grew up in Waynesville MO with this my favourite go-to restaurant with my family. Best bang for your buck then and I still think so now. I've been to several others around the area from Houston to Rolla etc and nothing is quite as good. Especially for the price, it's the best.

Visited Ocean Buffet recently with friends and my wife on a Thursday when it was $15.99 each. The service and atmosphere were pleasant, but the food experience was mixed. We enjoyed items like broccoli, chicken, soup, and beans. However, some dishes, notably the salmon and orange, had a leftover smell from the previous day. Overall, decent value for the price, but room for improvement in food quality.

Brother dying of cancer and wanted to eat there. I called ahead and explained he is ate up with cancer has false energy due to meds and that he rested up so he can handle the outing and can not eat as much as a toddler but he wanted to get-together with his girlfriend and sister could we please get a discount on his meal and they refused. I will honor his wish but I WILL NEVER eat there again.

Good Chinese food and lots of variety at the buffet! Beef N Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, Crab Rangoons, General Chicken, and everything else was delicious. Our waitress kept plates off the table and our drinks full. Recommend if you are in the area!

Went to eat here with Jessica and Carl. The food was good and man was there a lot of it. I could only eat 2 plates worth.. the prices were are 15-20$ for the buffet service was great.

What can I say, it's a buffet. I really like the hibachi stir fry bar, you get to build your own plate from a large variety of items. The sushi bar is also good, and kept fresh with a good variety of items. The rest of the buffet was warm at best, I guess because we went in early, around 4:30 for dinner. The wait staff are attentive and keep you drinks full and clear away used plates quickly. All in all it's a great place to eat.

Please read. If you love a good variety of delicious Chinese food, come here to Oceans Buffet! I travel 50 miles just to eat here at least once a month, if not every other week. Their food is seriously well worth the trip! I'm satisfied every time, and you will be too! The staff that's keeps this place going is doing an absolutely amazing job on keeping it clean and well stocked up on food. The dishes are clean due to an amazing dish washer who knows how to make every plate, bowl, and silverware clean. Thank you to whom you are! The cooks behind the food is doing a fantastic job on making their food a taste treat for everyone. I've recommended this place to everyone I know and even they are surprised how good it is and keeps going back even 50 miles away too. I truly believe Oceans Buffet will go far.

Mongolian bar was great. All the food was fresh and the drinks stayed full. Great selection of sushi and other items. Definitely a good place to take the family. Something for everyone for sure. Tell them I sent ya, won't get you any discount but probably get a weird look...lol

I toke my mother and Father, my wife and daughter there for supper on a Friday night. It was amazing I would them 12 stars if you asked how I would rate them from 1 to 10 scale. They have everything you can want from the ocean side. And also have some Chinese on the Buffay and they also have a hibachi grill cooked to order. You can chose your meat from beef, chicken and shrimp plus the veggies. They will fry it up to your choice right in front of you.

Very good food tonight. I find the hibachi, with the steaks cooked to order, a great value! I asked to have mine cooked medium rare, and it was! That's not always the case at restaurants in rural Missouri. I always enjoy the Won Ton Soup here, and tonight was no exception. The salad and add-ons were fresh and crispy. The sushi was very fresh, varied, and tasted great! And of course, the hot buffet offerings are extensive, varied and quite good. They make a point of having fresh food on the buffet right to the end of the night. You never have an excuse to leave Ocean Buffet hungry!

Mongolian grill good. Lots of variety Asian, American, etc. So many choices. Even soft serve ice cream Only negative. Very crowded. However, still got seated immediately.

One of our favorite restaurants. Food is always hot and fresh. Our server Sonia was very attentive and refilled drinks as soon as they got low. Never disappoints.

They have the best selection and flavor of food in the whole area. Nowhere can beat them in the five surrounding counties. Highly recommend it. They have the best hibachi and make sure to tip the hibachi cook he does the best job. Better than Springfield MO anyday

They always take care of everyone when we order here! I love this place! I order online most of the time because I don’t have time to stop and eat inside, but they always have it ready to pick up right on time. The foods always fresh and hot still by the time you get home. They pay attention to notes you leave for specific food orders. Example: I ordered a shrimp noodle and in the box that says instructions I put spicy! They made it spicy. They always give you your moneys worth. But again my favorite part about their restaurant is that they take care of their customers! 💕 thank you all at Ocean Buffet St.Robert! ♥️
