A small husband and wife owned restaurant. The prices are so low but the food is sooo good!!! I ended order more food to go and 1 dish is 2 meals for me. Love that a place like this still exists

Amazing Taiwanese food. It is very different from the ubiquitous Cantonese food that you can find everywhere. The owner is very nice. And the best is the shaved ice ice cream, the Baobing. It is a must try. We had mango and green tea

First time at this location and was very well welcomed by the front person( owner, I think) Also was recommended a chicken dish which it was very good and tasty also the timing was perfect. I thinks it was the owner but gentleman was very charismatic and nice 👍🏼 Also as a great gesture he provide a shaved ice cream and was DELICIOUS! Was very good to have lunch here

We came from PA for a family trip and Found this place on google. Small but feels super homey. Food quality was pretty awesome, and it reminds me of street food we had as kids. Owner was nice and gave us a free shaved ice. Will definitely come back if in the area again

The most authentic Taiwanese cuisine outside of Taiwan. I've been looking for authentic Taiwanese food throughout the US and this by far hits closest to home in terms of bringing Taiwanese dishes overseas. The braised pork and bamboo shoots are must haves, as they are as close as it gets to the quality you can get in Taiwan. For some reason, a lot of the other "Taiwanese" shops just can't seem to replicate the same quality and flavor found in Taiwan. I'll make sure to get my Taiwanese cuisine fix whenever I'm back in Orlando.

Very authentic, staff is excellent in recommending dishes that gives you a taste of what Taiwan is really like. Definitely get the shaved iced with toppings!!

I ordered the Pork Ribs Bento, Sishen Soup and Mango Snowflake Ice❤️❤️all delicious🤤I miss the taste. I recommend it. The boss is also easy to get along with, the service is good, and easy to chat with.

Tried this restaurant this past weekend as there aren't many authentic Taiwanese restaurants around, and I loved it. The man working was very kind considering I'm unfamiliar with a lot of Taiwanese cuisine. He even spent some time to have small talk. Feels like eating at your uncles house. Some reviews say some soups can be bland, but they supply condiments and would rather you adjust to your own taste to cater to more people. The glutinous rice sausage and cold braised beef shank were my favorite! I'm excited to come back and try more. Oh and the coffee was really good too!

The food is delicious, just like the taste of Taiwan! My favorites are salted crispy chicken, fried tofu, peanut glutinous rice sausage, and Taiwanese sausage. It’s like eating night market snacks in Taiwan.

Review based on Taiwanese shaved ice and fish cakes only. It’s tough giving a place a low review because post pandemic world, things are a bit tougher than they used to be to be. However, i have to say that although the menu looks enticing and the beautiful photos that decorate the walls look delicious, the food I got did not resemble any of the photos even remotely. I was so looking forward for some tasty delicious Taiwanese shaved iced and what I got was a far cry from tasty. The ice was ok, the toppings were horrible, chewy and taste less. The fish cakes were all filler and almost no fish whatsoever. I do hope they improve as Taiwanese food is great, but to serve less than good Taiwanese food is just wrong.

Generous portion and very typical Taiwanese flavor. Good and fast service. Fair price, good value for money. It is located in a decaying plaza and needs renovation.

I was surprised that strawberry was not included in the strawberry ice, because the mango ice on the menu was very exciting, with many mangoes and extra pudding, but the strawberry ice was disappointing and had an oily smell. The beef noodles have no Taiwanese flavor and are very bland. There are too many noodles to taste.

The food is super authentic and delicious, the owner shared his story about how he learned to do their mango ice cream with us, and it makes so much sense that his mango ice cream is the best in the area (or among all ice cream I had), all his dishes are yummy, a lot of places started off really good and then going down to a sloppy place, this Taiwanese restaurant is definitely not one of them. The food is always good and will never let you down. It deserves more spotlight and it’ll continue to be the restaurant we always go to. Please keep the good work :) they also serve the 猪肚汤，which is yummy!

I LOVE that I found this hidden gem that’s tucked away. The food taste like home made love. Their Taiwanese popcorn chicken is seriously the best! I would even stop by just to eat dessert, the shaved snow with fresh mango is so so good!! Not too sweet, light and refreshing

Great atmosphere eating here! Feels like home! Henry is so nice!! He recommended the Yangzhou fried rice and we also ordered the Popcorn Chicken Bento And the Gua Bao. They all hit the spot with the chicken being so juicy and big. Dessert was especially delicious. Gotta do the mango shaved ice with fresh mango on top. Will definitely be coming back here!

Not so crowded but yummy Taiwanese authentic food. The bentos were the best part and great value. The owner was so friendly I even saw him tell a kid to pick a drink for free.

Good Taiwanese Home Style Restaurant! The dishes on the menu are extremely authentic. I had the chicken cutlet over rice Bento and it was quite good. Food and service is good. The atmosphere is pretty reminiscent of a true Taiwanese street food restaurant. For me, it is very homely but may not be suited for those who expect a 5 or even a 4 star restaurant. This is one of the best “hole in the wall” restaurants in Orlando. Enjoy!

I am Taiwanese and have eaten food in Taiwan. Some of the best Taiwanese food I've had at this restaurant! I got the pork belly bento, braised pork rice, beef noodle soup, and shaved ice. Delicious! Shaved ice was made of real fruit.

The space is pretty small and cozy. Very authentic Taiwanese food, especially the braised meat platter, stir-fried cabbage, and crystal pig ear taste the same as what I’ve had in Taiwan. Good for trying out Taiwanese cuisine!

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine! I ordered the braised pork with rice bento, popcorn chicken (highly recommend), Taiwan fired noodles and taro ball red bean shaved ice (highly recommend, the taro and QQ ball comes with different flavor and those are all handmade!) Owner is friendly!

Delicious food!! These guys have a great product / chef. Lots to choose from and good quality. A mix of authentic dishes and American dishes. A bit pricey these days especially if you order multiple dishes, but delicious. Even love their melon tea drink. The place is small inside and in the Asian shopping center.

We reserved the whole restaurant for Chinese New Year and had a great time. Good food, good price and good staffs.

First time trying out their food with my friend for lunch, we ordered salt & pepper chicken, pork belly gua bao and ba-wan for dine in and a pork rib bento and spicy eggplant for take out. Overall the food was decent to my standard but still lack some taste from my childhood memories back in Taiwan. They tried their best effort to service their customers and I’m grateful they are serving the community!

I take out their frozen dumplings from time to time. The dumplings are made with shrimp and pork, and they are high quality stuff. I also like dining in. The beef noodle soup is amazing

I had my late lunch around the area and I saw this Taiwanese restaurant. I was so excited to visit it because I’m original from Taiwan. The staff, I guess he is a owner, was not super welcomed and he seemed slight annoyed when I asked for a menu. I’m kind of disappointed with this attitude. However, it would not stop me to order “Braised pork belly with rice (控肉飯)” for takeout for my dinner tonight. I took a small portion of the Benton and warmed it up. I’m disappointed that the pork belly was dry and not really seasoned enough. Vegetable(cabbage, I guess) was really light seasoned which I don’t mind it at all. Braised hard boiled egg was light seasoned as well. I understand everyone’s preferences is different (well/light seasoning) and I’m not sure if take-out affects the quality of food. However, that’s my experience for this restaurant and hope this opinion can help.

Everyone need to be aware of hidden services charge and tip on your receipt when you dine in. You need make advance reservations for dining because the size of dining room is very small. They do not have room for walk-in seating.

Delicious food and reasonable prices! The minced meat over rice (肉臊饭) was flavorful and filling, and the fried pork chop with rice bento（台式猪排饭）was tasty with a good texture. Both dishes came with an interesting yellow garnish that looked like a type of pickled vegetable. Sunday, October 2 I have just tried the Taiwanese shaved ice, it's quite delicious. The sweetness is light, flavors derived from the red bean, chewy taro, and chewy sweet potato balls. Very satisfying and filling dessert snack! Taiwanese popcorn chicken is a good snack too, flavorful and tender. 🍗😋

OEC Taiwanese Cuisine is probably the most authentic Taiwanese food around Orlando area. I can see reason why people complain about the service as they are a family ran business where they don't have enough staff. However, if you come early enough everything comes out fast and quality of the food is excellent. My family and I had the beef noodle, braise pork rice, fish cake, popcorn chicken, and Taiwanese shave Ice. The beef noodle is pretty good, but could of been better if we came later as it has not been stewed longer enough. Braise pork rice was pretty authentic, I would say its middle of the road if it was in Taiwan but here is among the best. Fish cake was pretty good, but my wife would prefer the sauce on the side. Popcorn chicken taste very similar to what I get in Taiwan which was a present surprise. The Shave Ice is pretty good as well, but I prefer not to have the condensed milk as I am not a big fan of the condensed milk. Overall, our experience was a excellent one and would recommend anyone to give this place a try. I recommend you come early in order to get decent service.

The popcorn chicken was ok, the bao buns were pretty good. Walked in and he gave me a Chinese menu at first I guess because I’m white. Had to specifically ask for the Taiwanese menu. He seemed nice, but did takeout so can’t really speak to the quality of service.

As a Taiwanese individual like myself, I’ve been searching for Taiwanese food in the Orlando area and I’m glad to say I finally found it!! The restaurant’s officially under new ownership, so I thought I would give this place a try! It’s a small restaurant that packs BIG flavor! I got the pork chop bento box and the taiwanese popcorn chicken and the flavor is just immaculate. The employees are also very attentive and quick to serve us with our food. Everything was super fresh and came out quickly! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice sit down place with quick eats!

I bought some dishes yesterday and was really impressed. My wife loved the pork chop bento box and I the four herbal soup. Being born and raised in Taiwan, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Taiwanese specialties.

The food here is great! It's hard to find good and authentic Taiwanese food around here. Their Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken is probably one of the best I've had in the Central Florida region. It was nice a thinly crispy on the outside, and super moist and tender on the inside. And topped with the traditionally fried basil leaves that are crispy (and not droopy oily). If you are hungry, go for one of the bento options. Every little item on those bento dishes are delicious. The rice was topped with this savory chopped meat stew, along with whatever deep-fried filet of meat you choose. The pickled veggies went great with all the juicy savory items on the plate. The marinated egg gave the dish a nice home cooked meal feel to it all. And even included a nice little spicy bilis of anchovies and pickled veggie. All I can say is YUM! But my favorite is the shaved ice for dessert. The ice is flavored with natural fruit before it gets shaved so there great flavor with every bite. And the ice is shaved so thinly, it was like a pile of snowflakes. Simply amazing.

Very very bad. Not sure if they have different cooks or something but it really was like going to two different restaurants
