I took my fiancée here on a date. It is probably in both of our top 5 dates at this point. we have talked about the wine made here every other day for the past 2 weeks. I strongly recommend the tasting but if you don't have the time, at least pick up a bottle of Black Forest Port if it's in season, and of course the Coconut Sauvignon Blanc, it is a must have in my wine collection. True artisans with great service! My fiancée said she wished they did a wine and paint class or something like that, she would be a regular. We will be there again very soon. :)

Very low-key. Wine was great, employees were all amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out.

While this winery is off the beaten path, I totally recommend the side trip into the mountains to enjoy this delicious fruity wine! Marshall and Brett will make your trip worthwhile. The wine is delightful!

Michael was a great host! He was the sweetest and kindest and gave the most information about all the wines! We had a great time

Absolutely the best winery I have been too! I really felt like the winemakers and staff went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant experience. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a good time and good wine!

The atmosphere is so calm and inviting, every wine we tried was tasty, and everyone there was so nice and helpful.

Great experience from start to finish, our guide was very knowledgeable of all of the wines and was able to recommend us the right samples based off of our taste. Highly recommend the 4 wines shown although I enjoyed all of them these were my favorites.

Had a wonderful experience this evening! My friend and I came in as a party of 2 without reservations and were seated right away. Michael guided our tasting and did an amazing job showcasing each wine. We enjoyed his attendance and hospitality. Will certainly come back for the quality of wine and the customer service.

We had a great experience spending some time at OENO Winemaking. The guide and owner were both incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Customer servce was excellent with Marshall! He guided us in the wine and chocolate tasting and was so informative! We very much enjoyed ourselves!

AMAZING experience. We were waited on by the owners, or previous owners as they had mentioned they just sold but we're staying on to help transition the new owners. I am a dry red drinker, and they did only have one dry red at this time, it was a blend but still VERY good. I also love a good port, they had 3 available and one that they let us taste out of the barrel. I ended up getting a bottle of all the ports they had available and the dry red. They have an ice wine there that was phenomenal I ended up buying a bottle of as well. Customer service was amazing, the facility was clean and in a cool location with views of the mountains in the back. They do a wine and chocolate pairing flight with the local chocolate company Manoa. They have cold water available and I was able to fill my water bottle up a few times during our visit. Would definitely visit again.

Rated a 4 because of our "server." He was great. The bread and butter were really good as well. The wine...if you like traditional wines, this is not for you. Everything was sweet and flavored the day we went. There were some interesting flavor blends. Some of which tasted like perfume. I think I saw a statement in the other comments or reviews that you can make your own blends and label them??? We did buy one bottle and got to put the label on. The tasting area, with nice artwork and lights, was very pleasant. It is in a warehouse, and parking was limited.

If you like wine, you'll love this hidden wine tasting gem. When we arrived, we were the only people there, so we had a personalized, intimate wine tasting experience. The employee waiting on us was kind, attentive, and knowledgable. He thoroughly explained our wines and we even ended up buying a bottle to take home with us. If you're looking for a fun, unique, inexpensive way to enjoy quality wines, definitely check out Oeno!

My girl friend and I were there for a romantic date and thoroughly enjoyed the time together there. The folks there are very knowledgeable about the wine and I was able to receive an education about various wine types etc. I would recommend this place for a taste.

Who knew Oahu had a winery?! Oeno Winemaking is Kailua's best kept secret 🍷 Shhhh don't tell anyone (I want all the wine!) This is delicious wine with a tropical twist, darling wine tasting experience with warm fresh baked bread, local art adorning the walls and lively music made for an amazing date night! Loved it so much we joined the wine club... and making my own Oeno barrel of wine is now on my "must do" list!

Staff was amazing! A great place to stop and experience. The process is really unique and kudos to the team for the creativity and passion! The wine.. meh. If you like fruit wine, you'll love it (the couple from Florida tasting with us LOVED it). Wasn't my personal preference.

Tons of experimental wines up and coming. The wine pairing was delicious, and chocolates were top notch. Our guide was so nice and let us sample a lot. Great value for money, and if you have a chance to try the whiskey barrel port!

Great hidden gem! Small fun set up, great selection, best pours I’ve ever had at a wine tasting! I like sweet so he gave us some options! As about the limited edition annual fruit wine! It was amazing! The last of every fruit wine combined to make a once in a blend, so delicious! Friendly staff did an excellent job explaining and making us feel special! It’s worth the trip!!

I had an amazing experience here. We did the chocolate and wine pairing and it far exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is quaint and rustic with an indoor gazebo structure with fairy lights and high top tables. The chocolates (4) are placed at the table immediately ranging from light to dark and then the wines (4) are brought out one at a time and are explained while they point out which chocolate to pair it with. The winemakers are so friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience fun and casual, a perfect reflection of the island culture. It is a bit hard to find, on google maps you need to drive past the road it tells you to turn down to the next road which will have signs with the name of the winery on it. Then it will lead you into a parking lot with many large industrial buildings that you just need to look down in between each one to find it. It is right next to Traditions Coffee Roasting.

Awesome place, great man working there. Very knowledgeable about the wines and Hawaii. Very comfortable atmosphere, no rush, no worries. Great person to talk with. Worth the adventure.

Oeno was such a relaxing tasting experience. The low key atmosphere was perfect for the chill Saturday afternoon. We weren’t rushed through our experience and staff were super friendly!

Our first time wine tasting here and everything we tried was delicious. We even bought a bottle of our favorite pour. Looking forward to coming back and am thinking about joining their quarterly wine group!

The experience was nothing short of amazing. My friends and I were excited to see that there was a winery on the island, and enjoyed the tasting enough to purchase several more bottles of wine. I highly recommend giving it a try and bringing a few friends to share the moment with.

I really enjoyed it here! The coconut wine was delicious, and so was the bread we bought to pair with it. Yum!

Marshall was so friendly and accommodating! The wine tasting is well worth it with large sample sizes, & then we bought single glasses, including froze. While the wine was delicious and worth the 5 stars, the hospitality is also A+! I loved learning about the roots of the Oeno winery.

Visiting Oeno Winery was such a great experience, the owner and sommelier (Brett/Brent, i believe) were both so incredibly kind. The Wines are very sweet tasting and innovative. Would highly recommend!

Me and my friends had a blast while we were there! We did the wine and chocolate tasting experience and everything was delicious! We each bought a bottle of wine, and if we weren’t going to lunch we would’ve gotten some chocolate as well. The owner was so nice and so knowledgeable, and if I ever get the chance I know I will be returning. 10/10 recommend this place if you’re looking for great wine and great chocolate!

Friendly staff and comfortable environment. No issues with other people enjoying this place, but personally the wine was mediocre at best. All the wines were overly sweet and syrupy. Its.commendable to use local coconut and pineapples, but there was little depth, no tannins. The port which I assumed the brandy would take over, was also not quite right. I appreciate their work to blend and age them in house. But to ship the grape juice concentrate and store them in plastic vats in their space at 80+ degrees and high humidity, the wine is just not going to turn out great. The garlic butter and sourdough was the best thing we had. 🤷‍♂️

Marshall was awesome. Very knowledgeable and has some amazing wines. Took a couple bottles home as well.

Absolutely best wines we ever tested. This place is a bit expensive though, and they need more food options. Overall very nice experience, and awesome drive from Honolulu as well.

***Outstanding service and wine selection*** Despite being located in a loading bay in an industrial park(along with other businesses using similar loading bays), this winery was quite pleasant. We booked a tasting for 3 adults at about $100 and tasted 6 wonderful wines out of many fermented on location. They have seating and music and some delicious appetizers that are flavorful, but don't overpower the pallet. Their grapes are also imported from all over the world to allow them to make a wide variety of wines. They also ship, so you are able to purchase several bottles to be sent back home. The owner and staff are very friendly, as well as knowledgeable about their wine. This was an excellent experience and well worth the trip. I will definitely be going back.

We came here twice in 2022 and once in 2023 before we moved to the mainland. The two main guys were there all 3 times and were kind to us newbies and knowledgeable to the one sommelier (!) we had in our party. The whole experience was just *fun*. The location doesn't seem "fancy" from the outside as it's in a warehouse/rollup district with some other local businesses, but the whole little area is a hidden gem in the center of Oahu despite the low-key atmosphere. They make the wine in a less-common way, they explain how and why, and we enjoyed it enough to also buy a box to take with us to the mainland before we moved. That box is already gone, but it was just as tasty!

Visited Oahu in 2021 and BILL took great care of us. We just revisited again April 2022 and were looking forward to returning to Oeno; We were told over the phone that they were very busy and that we couldn't even walk-in. We were shocked to see that the doors were locked and the business had closed by 6:30pm despite being very busy... & this is to potentially help others interested in visiting this establishment - Although their hours say they close at 8pm, I recommend calling them to ensure that this is true because they can close early some days. The reason that I am giving this business 5 stars is because BILL completely redeemed the reputation of Oeno Winemaking in our eyes, and he sacrificed his time to stay late the next day so that we would be taken care of. In summary, BILL completely saved our whole experience and gave us the most pleasant experience we could have hoped for! We look forward to visiting again in the future to see our wonderful server BILL :) Also, their pineapple chardonnay and tropical Sauvignon-blanc are amazing!

Went for the VIP wine tasting and had an amazing time! Brett and Marshall were friendly and outgoing and their wines were great. They left us with great recs on how to spend the rest of our time in Hawaii. Highly recommend!

Marshal was an absolute stellar tasting wiz. He knew everything about every wine we tasted and was able to answer every question we had. The wines are good, not traditional, but that is why they are great to have at your home bar. I will go back time and time again.

It was easy to find as they tell you exactly where to go in the final email. The tasting room was different than I had expected, very industrial, but it IS in the area for it. Either way it was fun to see everything and how it was kept. The tasting area was clean and quaint. We enjoyed the tasting and information on all of them. Our wine guide, if you will, was som much fun. I wish I could remember his name! A quaint place for date night.

Really had fun learning and experiencing wines, that may guide me towards my preference. Bill was really helpful with the information about our beverage, and it was an absolute fun experience having the service that Bill offered :)

Marshall, Brett, and Bill are amazing. We called about wine tasting and were directed how to reserve online. When we arrived, we had a great time. Extremely nice and funny. Very helpful with other questions as well. Bonus, they were dog friendly and the wines, especially the port, were delicious. Luv ya!

I didn’t think I’d be a fan of the types of wines that are served here but wanted to come for a tasting based on the positive reviews of the owner. I thought the coconut Sauv Blanc and pineapple Chardonnay were pretty good as a Hawaiian novelty type wine but the disappointment was in the customer service of Marshall. He appeared rushed during our tasting, not much discussion and we felt we were interrupting him when we did ask a question. We did have a reservation for a tasting and didn’t just show up to be served. Maybe on a better day when he’s not so busy the service would be better.

Absolutely delicious wines. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! The owner was a great dude, showed us around and made the tasting very enjoyable experience. Left with 2 bottles of phenomenal wine. Can't wait to get some more!
