The best fish in the Copper Country!

I’m not a big fan of fish but went here with a friend who really wanted to go and it was very good, I’d go back!

A must stop in the Keweenaw! Some of the best smoked fish around, fresh filets, and sides. Slide across the parking lot to the lunch stand and get some fish tacos, parmesan baked whitefish basket or some deep fried perch! Everything was great!

Cute little place on top of the hill across from the mine. It was a 90 degree day so we did not sit inside, but they have a cozy little place. We had whitefish sandwiches, they were FRESH & tasty!. We also asked for extra tartar sauce, we like extra- the sandwich does come with a small amount on bun. The perfect size sandwich. We did not get the fries, they weren’t homemade. We also tried the smoked fish chowder, it was also fresh and yummy! Also next to a little store that sells smoked fish and other goodies. We will be back!!

A good outdoor fish joint. Everyone was happy with their meal! Seating is on the deck or out on picnic tables. Would definitely recommend!

The Fresh White fish was great. The coleslaw was soooo good. The young ladies were very helpful with the menu. I definitely recommend dining on the outside, a quaint and refreshing atmosphere.

Delicious and fresh fish baskets! Whitefish is thinner fish than the cod I’m used to so keep that in mind. It is a LOT of food. The fries are the extra crispy kind, so good. The chowder was delicious but be warned the jalapeño on top is hot!

The fish was delicious! Fried whitefish has a nice crispy crust, not heavily battered and greasy. The baked parmesan whitefish was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Great fries and perfect coleslaw. The atmosphere is super cute. There are tables in an open air porch, or outside in the yard. A great lunch stop!

Daughter and son in law lived in hancock tried this place great food and all around great experience.

When you're driving up Rte 41 and passing the Quincy Mine, you should stop in for some fresh fish! Daily caught, super fresh no matter how you want your fish and/or other seafood. The market tied here sells uncooked and smoked seafood choices along with other items. You definitely want to stop by and order up some fresh fish-n-chips. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere (you'll laugh your butt off with all the funny signs hanging there while waiting for your meal), and super friendly employees.

My favorite parmesan crusted whitefish n sweet potato.Sit outside n bring dog is perfect.Cant wait to go back.

Parmesan Baked Whitefish was SO GOOD. Came in from Nebraska to visit family and this was one of the places we stopped for a bite. We were not disappointed!

Closed until June 11 even though maps says open. Would have been nice to not drive half hour to get here just to find out it’s not open.

My favorite place in the area to get some whitefish. I was blown away by the taste, and had to go back the next day and order double. Looking forward to my next visit

It's a great little spot to stop and have some fish. I got battered cod and a baked sweet potato as my side. Even with a lot of people waiting in front of us it was quick to receive our food and it was hot and delicious. The weather was perfect so sitting outside at one of their picnic tables was a nice touch to our dinner. The only complaint I have which really is miniscule, was the coleslaw was not the greatest thing I've ever had. It was a little bland.

It's been more than a year since I've eaten here and I think about it at least once a month. The white fish was delicious, the tartar sauce complimented it wonderfully. If I didn't live 8 hours away I would go as often as I think of it.

Don’t listen to the other tourist naysayers! We live in the area, four suns has the best fish hands down. On long days, bad days, hard days, (and if they’re open for summer) the fried whitefish and risotto is the solution for me and my fiancé. I’m ruined, I can’t have fried fish anywhere else. A couple things to note though. This is WILD CAUGHT SUPERIOR whitefish, it’s not farm raised or frozen from other areas where the fish is bigger. The fillets can be small and lean, that’s just how the fish is. It’s freshly caught too, which I’m convinced is part of the reason the fish is heaven to eat. If you can get past the usual over-inflated sizes of frozen fish you get in areas where this isn’t an option you’ll be blessed with some of the best fish in your life.

The food and service here was incredible. The fish is fresh and well seasoned. The chowder was also very good. Highly recommended for a quick and delicious lunch.

As soon as I took a bite out of the fried whitefish sandwich I thought to myself, this is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. The fries are good too, better than at most other places. This is legit the place to go to if you’re in the area.

I had the whitefish basket w/ coleslaw and fries, and a whitefish tostada after because the basket was so good. This was my favorite whitefish spot in my 5 day U.P. trip. The basket whitefish was seasoned perfectly and the tartar sauce (as always) paired great with the fish. The fries were also phenomenal, they almost felt double fried. Every fry was equally crunchy. I got the corn tortilla for the whitefish tostada, and while I didn’t expect the fish mixture (pâté) to be cold, it was still delicious especially with the peppers on top. I’ll be back for more when I return to the U.P.!

Great little restaurant with delicious whitefish. We had the fried whitefish basket with fries and coleslaw and a whitefish taco. Both were delicious! Friendly service and nice outside seating. Definitely recommend stopping.

It took a while for our food to come out the fish was super dry and it tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil overpriced for the little strips that you get, the only good thing was the fries, the coleslaw was too sweet along with the tartar.

Great fresh fish. The parmesan crusted whitefish with risotto was delicious (the fish was caught earlier in the day!). Owned by the same family that owns the fish store next door (they also catch the fish!). Very friendly!

Four Suns was the most delicious place I've ever had fresh fried White Fish. The fish was mouth watering, flaky soft delicate and awesome. Down right home made. It tastes better than if you freshly caught it and fried it at the shoreline. I wish I could buy it at home. The fish is as fresh and delicious as it can be. They should train culinary schools how to train top chefs to cook fish. No one does it better. Caught the same day in Lake Superior. I can't describe in words how delicious it was. The fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce was great too. It is by far the best place I've eaten white fish in the UP and America. I'd go an hour out of my way to eat here. It's conveniently located across the street from Quincy Mine right behind the fish market. Definitely a must stop on every trip. An epic great tasting food experience!

Whitefish 3 ways, fried, baked and Parmesan crusted baked; all three were great, but the parmesan crusted baked, was astronomically fantastical!!!!

The fish was amazing. Highly recommend the Parmesan white fish best out of the white fish in my family's opinion.

What a great place to stop and grab some lunch. Had a blast reading the signs, and we ordered two different types of fish and shared them. Perch and white fish were excellent. If you get the chance, don't drive by and not stop.

Consistently delicious fresh food. Our go-to for takeout in the summer and fall. Tip: If you don’t want to wait, it’s always best to call in your order 10-15 minutes ahead of time.

This place is hands down the best fresh whitefish in the Yoop. We always stop here when we are in the area. Last time I was here, I tried the whitefish chowder with jalapeño emulsion and it was the best soup I ever had. I have been thinking about it ever since and even fantasied about dunking my head in a vat of it. 11/10 stars.

Our fried whitefish sandwich did not impress. The fried part was too thick and really deep fried. The fish was thin for such a frying. I forgot pics. French fries were ok. Bring a check or cash or else 3% up-charge on credit card, typical for the area.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and the employees were super helpful and friendly!! HUGE portions, so fresh and the risotto is to die for!!! The white fish taco is huge and easily as big as 3 tacos anywhere else, the perch and whitefish baskets were enormous portions, coleslaw delicious and creamy and fries battered to perfection. Haven’t found a spot this good where everything went beyond in a looong time, 10 out of 10, don’t pass by without stopping!! 🙌💖💖

The best whitefish I have ever had! I had the parmesan coated, it was flavorful and melt in your mouth tender! Husband had a spicy coated whitefish, not sure of the exact name, but he enjoyed his also. The fries were nice and crispy, very generous portions. We split a chowder and I could easily go back for more. Definitely not a fancy place, but the food was superb!
